Love is in the air as Caden and Evie prepare for their wedding. It's been a long time coming. Together as teens but forced apart by Evie's parents, she's slowly remembering what she almost lost. Samhain was in the air and with always some mystery waiting to be solved, it's never really smooth sailing in Honeysuckle Springs, today was no different. Caden and his men were tasked with finding a missing teenage girl, before the weather turned. With Samhain around the corner and the Wild Hunt myth coinsiding, they had their work cut out for them. The veil was thin and things have been known to turn bad during this time. Evie just wants to get through this and get on to her happily ever after with Caden, and find the missing girl safe and brought home unharmed. All that would be left was to marry the man her heart knew was her true love.
Great storytelling with amazing characters, I would love to be friends with, in a small town full of magic!
So excited for the next chapter in Evie's now married life with another book coming!!!! A definite must read series!!!

I’ve been waiting for this book for a while now. Evie’s life is still a bit hectic working in the bakery, helping her fiancée, Chief Caden Bexley with murder investigations, while learning magic as a witch and learning how to live with her Aunt Birdie living in her familiar, Theo’s body and having her own kitten familiar, Kookie. There are also Kookie’s siblings. Gertie, the neighbor and fellow witch who was her Aunt’s frenemy is a riot as she still argues with the talking cat. Preparations for the wedding are underway Halloween arrives, so the Coven that Gertie, Evie, etc. are in celebrates it. I laughed a lot, cried a bit and chewed on my nails. Two girls go missing in this book and I figured out the culprit pretty quickly. I loved the ending, but I knew that was coming too. lol. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Evie and Caden's wedding is just days away and a girl is missing and it's all hands on deck. Her parents are away and the only one concerned is the housekeeper. But this isn't the only mystery or secret to be told. In this book, secrets will be revealed and there is more truth coming to light. This is a wonderful read. I love this series. The characters are amazing from Evie's big heart, Aunt Birdie in her cat form with her kitty wine, to Gert's sarcastic disposition. You'll thoroughly enjoy this read and the ones before it. Loved it.

This is an enjoyable paranormal cozy series with a lot of charm and heart. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. This book has a big secret reveal that is very satisfying. I am looking forward to seeing how it affects the series in the future. I love the relationship of Evie and Caden and the respect they have for each other. This is the perfect cozy for a cup of tea and a warm blanket on a chilly night.

This case didn't hold my interest as much as when Evie investigated murders, but there was still adorable Kookie who helped her with the case. I just love that kitten! She and Evie make a great sleuthing team. The missing person outcome wasn't a huge surprise and with her aunt's help, Evie had it figured out. The ending was super sweet so now I'm eager to read the next book.

These books are absolutely amazing. I had many many hours of enjoyment. So happy you are writing #13 Cindy can't wait to read another novel with Gertie Kookie and Birdie talking and helping to solve mysteries. Anxiously waiting for the next mystery to come out.
