Wow! Just wow! Absolutely fantastic! This is the fifth book in the series and I would say it is by far the best sequel of the series! From the very first chapter, I was completely sucked in and finished reading within a day. I did take a two hour break due to the intensity and suspense of the Jack the Ripper content. But I was eager to return to reading! The writing is so engaging and beautifully written. I loved the main character, Kathryn. Although I did yell at her a few times to stop being so dangerous! She was making me so nervous and I loved it, haha! This is the closest the two timelines have ever been 1888 and 1938. In both timelines, there is a focus on Jack the Ripper. In 1888, Jack the Ripper is going on his killing spree. So there is a danger for Kathryn. In 1938, she is helping with a Jack the Ripper exhibit and gets some “future information for her 1888 life. And that her sister is listed as Jack’s final victim. She enlists the help of her friend and neighbor, Austen in searching for her sister in hopes to save her from that fate. This story is full of great suspenseful moments, mystery and a little romance. It also has great Christian content. And of course, twists and surprises that I did not see coming! Overall a fantastic read and I definitely recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Content: this story focuses on Jack the Ripper and his victims, there are details about their gruesome deaths so keep that in mind.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Rating: All the stars!

Gabrielle Meyer has done it again. Every Hour Until Then is the fifth installment in her Timeless series, and somehow, each book manages to outshine the last. I didn’t think it was possible to love this series more, but Kathryn’s story absolutely gripped me from the very beginning.

Meyer weaves an incredibly suspenseful narrative as Kathryn navigates her dual timelines, and I was on the edge of my seat trying to piece together the mystery of Jack the Ripper alongside her. The historical elements were vivid and immersive, and I loved how the author tackled so many of the existing theories surrounding the infamous killer. It felt smart, fresh, and genuinely chilling.

As always, the emotional stakes were high, and I was torn right alongside Kathryn as she faced impossible choices about who she is, what she believes in, and which life she’s meant to choose.

This series is time-slip historical fiction at its absolute finest. If you haven’t started it yet, bump it to the top of your TBR. You’ll thank me later

I have been rendered speechless! Dumbfounded. Left in complete awe. Questioning—how in the world Gabrielle Meyer can continue bringing us story after mind boggling story? I am truly amazed at her sheer brilliance and seemingly effortless ability to untangled the complex and complicated tangled web she weaves. It’s pure genius. Like Tony Stark-Albert Einstein level genius.

Every Hour Until Then was absolutely fascinating and addictive. The more pages I read, the faster I tried to reach the end, while hoping it would never conclude. With the storyline centering around the diabolical and mysterious Jack the Ripper, the mood was eerie, frantic, and nail biting. I was captivated by the case, the victims, the Freemasons, and how Kathryn’s two paths played out. Each part of the plot coming together seamlessly. I was anxious, surprised, overcome, and overjoyed. I cried shamelessly for far too long from the beautiful culmination of each precious moment. Thinking of how wonderful it would be if the impossible was possible and our hearts could experience such fantastical things.

Hands down my new favorite of the series. I don’t see how it could get any better than this. But Gabrielle always brings her “A game and continues to shatter my expectations each and every time.

Bravo Mrs. Meyer!

Thank you NetGalley and Bethany House for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

I finished reading an ARC of Every Hour Until Then a few hours ago and have been scrolling through the 2000 plus books on my kindle trying to decide what to read next. Unfortunately after reading Every Hour, nothing else is appealing to me. I absolutely loved kathryn in both of her timelines! She is a fantastic lady and I enjoyed all of her adventures in both 1888 and 1938. With every one of Gabrielle Meyer's Timeless books I think that she can't do any better, then comes the next book proving me wrong! As much as I enjoyed this book, I am happy to say Through Each Tomorrow will be releasing November 4th. I can't wait to read Charles' story!

My advice to you is to pre-order your copy of Every Hour Until Then due out Tuesday May 20th and schedule PTO so you can stalk the mailbox and enjoy the story!

I was given a copy of this book with no expectations. All thoughts are my own.

Every dang time 😭🥹🩷 it’s no secret the Timeless series is a series I talk about to absolutely everyone and their dog, and how it’s probably my favorite series ever.

Gabrielle does it again. I started reading it last night, and I decided to very reluctantly get sleep, but my body told me (with a lot of adrenaline) at 6am that it was time to get up and read 🤣

First of all, Austen is SWOONY. The YEARNING. I’m here for a yearning MMC. I only want yearning men in my books.

Secondly, truthfully I was a little nervous about the Jack-the-Ripper storyline. I’m not a fan of gruesome movies and the like, so I wondered if it would be too thriller-y for me. I only had to skip a couple of paragraphs that had a bit too many details for me (yes I’m a wimp), but everything else was totally fine. I think Gabrielle did such a wonderful job tying in the history and just the whole plot was so beautifully orchestrated, so well thought out. I don’t know how she does it!

Thirdly, I loved what it did to my heart. I needed to hear some of the words in this book right now. It’s a theme I’ve noticed in every one of the Timeless series, which I particularly appreciate I love specifically seeing how God orchestrates things differently and better than we imagine. This book reminded me of that in this season when I desperately needed that reminder. I needed that injection of hope. I feel like it was written specifically for me.

All in all, I never want this series to end! 😭🫶🏼🩷

Wow! These books just absolutely leave me breathless! The suspense and the reveals in this installment are superb. Buckle up for an excellent twist, one that I didn’t see coming at all. I always appreciate the intricate details and plot threads that come together over the course of the novel and in true fashion these are exquisitely done in Every Hour Until Then. The ending of this one brought me to happy tears. The romance is touching and beautiful, the action is gripping, and the plot twists are chef’s kiss. Highly highly recommend!

This series is all the rage in the Christian fiction community, and that’s because it truly is exceptional. The concept of time crossing is covered uniquely in each book and always presents new twists that keeps the series fresh and always pulling the reader back for more.

In this fifth book we follow Kathryn in 1888 and 1938 London and learn how both of her paths are inexplicably linked with the notorious Jack the Ripper.
In the 1888 path we are witness, along with Kathryn, as the Jack the Ripper murders unfold. In 1938, we see Kathryn working as a museum curator to compile an exhibit on the 50th anniversary of Jack the Ripper in the tumultuous setting of pre war London. Kathryn struggles with the moral rules that time crossers must follow as she uses her future resources to aid in unraveling the mysterious identity of Jack the Ripper and to thwart his efforts to murder his fifth and final victim.

I absolutely adore the compelling mystery and the author’s artistry of weaving fiction and historical fact to create a plausible story about this infamous serial killer. The story was full of secrets and suspense, but also builds a beautiful romance amid the uncertainty of the future. The identity of Jack the Ripper and all the many historical speculations are written together to create a perfect fictional embodiment of evil amid the true evil that we know exists in history. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, things change and Gabrielle Meyer hits me with one of her emotionally charged moments of revelation leaving me with my jaw slack and/or tears in my eyes. I have always said that Book 1 was my favorite of the series because it’s hard to beat the book that laid the foundation, but Gabrielle Meyer did it. In my opinion, this is the best book of the series and I cannot wait to see how the story continues with Book 6.

Oh My! I am speechless! The BEST so far in this series!!!!
Every Hour until Then, part of the Timeless Series by Gabrielle Meyer is everything! One of the things I love about this series is that the romance is not heavy and the main focus of the stories. The way Gabrielle Meyer incorporates multiple lines of history, solid true christian themes and encouragement (it's not fluffy and over "religious", but relatable and truly encouraging!) is what makes this series shine for me! In Every Hour until Then we get another genre layer added: clean mystery/thriller! I normally don't read much mystery/thriller because it's so hard to find the clean ones that really draw you in. This one did just that! The layers, the suspense, the good clean romance, you really can't go wrong with this one! If you already enjoy the Timeless series, you will LOVE this one. If you are not a romance fan, but enjoy mysteries, you most likely will enjoy this one! I recommend to all since there are so many layers of genres in this, you won't regret!
Thank you NetGalley, and the author, and publisher for an advanced e-copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I've loved the Timeless series, books I can't put down and always have great discussion about God's will for our lives and releasing control to him. Every Hour Until Then messes with your mind with the plot twists! I kept flipping pages with no idea how things would work out. All my guesses were wrong. I had a hard time with believability of the main character, who had no sense of fear or self-preservation. The book used words to say she wasn't being foolish and so on, while to this reader, her actions looked very foolish and bull-headed. I just don't know anyone who doesn't even consider fear or their own safety even a little before deciding to plow ahead. So I couldn't relate to her or even completely respect her. Some of the time crossing rules seem to bend rather conveniently. But other than that, this is an excellent book and will especially be enjoyed by readers whose interest is piqued by the theories behind Jack the Ripper.

This was such an exciting story! I don’t know how Gabrielle Meyer does it. I was immediately immersed in the stories of both timelines. There was lots of mystery and suspense as the main character Kathryn explores the world of Jack the Ripper in both 1888 and 1938. You will love her thrilling and absolutely chilling adventures as she tries to learn more. She needs to discover who Jack the Ripper was and how to prevent the murder of a close family member.

I loved Austen! Such a wonderful character. He was such an integral part of the story right to the very end.

If you love a mystery, suspense, twists and turns with a heartbreaking love story woven in, you will love this book! I can’t recommend it enough!

This series just keeps getting better and better, and this installment is my new favorite of the entire saga. Kathryn's dual timeline life is complicated enough, but her lives are only 50 years apart and that adds a whole new layer! The romance in Gabrielle's books are always well-done, but I loved the boy-next-door-childhood-love storyline so much. Plus, never would I have thought I'd have enjoyed a story with an emphasis on Jack the Ripper, but this book is so well-paced and tactful. I can't wait to read the next book in the series and will definitely reread this one!

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!

Kathryn is a time-crosser, living one day in 1888 and the next in 1938, going back and forth until she reaches her twenty-fifth birthday when she will have to choose which live she wants to live in but her choice becomes more complicated when her job as assistant curator for a new Jack the Ripper exhibit leads to startling information about her life in 1888.

As she and her close childhood friend Austen race to solve the mystery before it's too late, Kathryn must decide if she is willing to risk changing history in order to save someone she loves, even if it means giving up her own chance at happiness.

What you'll find:
time crossing
Victorian era/pre-WWII
single pov
friends to lovers
mystery and suspense
plot twists
that first kiss!!
the perfectly perfect epilogue

OH.MY.WORD!!!!!! THIS BOOK!! I have loved this entire series but this book is on a level all it's own. The absolutely captivating plot with all its jaw-dropping twists and turns and how everything tied together was absolute genius. This book is the very definition of what readers mean when we say a story gave us ALL THE FEELS!!

The eerie mystery in search of a murderer, the edge of your seat suspense, the complex time-crossing dilemmas, the heartachingly beautiful romance, the tender family relationships...I felt it all and loved it all! This was an emotional rollercoaster that I never wanted to end! I was completely captivated from the opening chapter until the last sentence of the epilogue at which point I was literally in tears over the entire journey and the most perfect ending ever.

I am afraid of giving away or saying too much because this is story is a deeply emotional experience and I don't want you to miss out on any of it BUT also want to convince every single person I know to read this series. I am definitely suffering from book hangover now but I DON'T EVEN CARE. This book was worth it and deserves all the stars and all the love!! 11/10, this will be a forever favorite!!

I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.

Gabrielle Meyer has done it again. How she manages to one-up herself every time she writes a book in the Timeless series is beyond me! I literally could not put this book down. If any book represents the term “page turner for me, it is this one! The mystery, the action, the love, the suspense.!!! Everything about this book was perfect. Grumpy/pining MMC, spirited and determined FMC, combined with one of the most mysterious serial killers in all of history = pure gold! The way Meyer stuck true to the original history while adding her personal touch to weave this masterpiece was beautiful. I always love when an author talks about their research at the end, and I particularly loved that Meyer shared and differentiated between what was from history/suspected regarding the Jack the Ripper cases, and what was made up. I found myself literally gasping out loud at plot twists and turns! I am usually pretty good at predicting major plot twists before they happen (much to my husband’s dismay 😂), but that was not the case with this book. PERFECT! Beautiful! I loved it so much!

The banter between Kathryn, our MFC, and Austen, our MMC, was delightful! I’m a huge fan of Grumpy X Sunshine, and I feel like there was a little bit of this going on between the two. Kathryn’s fierce determination not to let Austen push her away created some swoon-worthy moments of tension that had me flipping pages SO FAST to see how it would end! It was as if the tension was palpable in real life.

Kathryn’s parents, Lucas and Grace Voland, are one of the much-loved couples from Meyer’s third book in the Timeless series, For A Lifetime. I adore seeing them again and love seeing their mature relationship and love. I also love the guiding role they played in Kathryn’s life, making sure to point her back to our Creator and her faith. Their sound wisdom and advice are something that everyone could learn from, and I adored Grace’s faith under pressure! This entire story was a reminder that God is sovereign and His ways are much better than our ways. He sees the full picture in a way that our minds cannot comprehend, and we are better to put our complete trust and our lives in His hands!

“God is sovereign," Papa said. "Even when we don't understand, He allows certain things to happen for His purposes. When we say we know better, then it means we don't believe He is sovereign or just. that His will is not as perfect as our own--and that's a dangerous game to play.

I feel like this quote is the underlying theme of this latest installment in 's Timeless series. It really captures so much of what the time-slip characters face as they live double/triple lives. This was even made more clear in this newest story with our lead character Kathryn who learns in 1938 that her sister in 1888 is killed by the notorious Jack the Ripper. She has made it her personal mission to learn everything she can in both times in order to prevent her little sister from being killed by the madman. She decides that she knows best--for God gave her a mind to use and this information to know--and that she's willing to risk it all to save her sister.

This jumps back into the genealogy started with books 1-3, so it would be highly recommended to read those before jumping into this one.

Woven throughout the book is also an exploration into the world of the Freemasons--something that has intrigued me since that classic movie National Treasure.

The book has so many great lessons in faith and trusting in a good God no matter what we see in just our human fraility. I couldn't put it down. I was 70% through it and it seemed like it was "almost done" so I knew I was in for some twists and turns before the story played out! I wasn't wrong. LOL.

Every one of these books continues to bring 5 star review for their intrigue, their imagination, and the faith messages woven throughout. I'm eager to read book 6 as it dives into exploring a MALE viewpoint--with twists of course! ;)

*Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC of this fabulous book. All opinions are 100% my own.

Every Hour Until Then is the fifth book in the Timeless series. While I think enough information is given that you would be able to enjoy this one as a standalone, there may be some spoilers from previous books in the series, and as such would best be read in order.

Oh, the absolute love I have for this series. Five books in and I'm still impressed by all the moments in history the author takes us to and decisions these characters have to face. This one was rather unique in a few ways... such as how close in time Kathryn's two timelines are to one another- close enough that there's a chance that people from her earlier timeline are still alive in the latter. In 1938, Kathryn is working on an exhibit about Jack the Ripper and discovers that her sister in 1888 is to be his final victim. While she knows that there are rules against changing history, she sets out to do just that and keep her sister safe. That was intriguing enough on its own... but there was a twist that I absolutely did not see coming that only took this story to the very next level. This was another fantastic addition to an amazing series that fans of Christian historical romance absolutely do NOT want to miss.

Gabrielle Meyer’s Every Hour Until Then could be the best Timeless novel yet.

As always, the characters share the same consciousness and their bodies look the same in each period. In 1888, Kathryn was racing to save her sister, who was killed by Jack the Ripper. In 1938, Kathryn is gathering all the clues she needs to find out who Jack was and how she can prevent her sister’s murder. Each night Kathryn goes to sleep, she wakes up in another era and the action, suspense and romance will keep you reading way into the night.

Parts of this book are gruesome. The details on how Jack murdered his victims might be hard for some, so please be aware of this aspect of the book if you have a hard time with that type of stuff. Otherwise, the mystery of who Jack is and how this book plays out will absolutely stun you. I was sure I knew who Jack was and was so surprised at the end I couldn’t stop reading.

I have read all the books in this series and have enjoyed them so much I plan to re-read them all again. If you enjoy time-travel books, you will love Every Hour Until Then. I highly recommend it!

How do these books just keep getting better and better? Whenever I start a new Timeless book by Gabrielle Meyer I know I’m going to be up late because I seriously cannot stop until I know how it ends! So per usual, this was a one day read. I refuse to pick favorites because each book is so unique and thrilling in its own way, but this one probably has the most literal thrills. Kathryn is on the hunt for Jack the Ripper in two different decades when she learns her sister in her earlier timeline is his final victim. But changing history comes with a price according to Time Crosser rules- so if she saves her sister she will likely have to forfeit a life with the only man she’s ever loved.

I loved the dilemmas Kathryn has to wrestle with. How does one choose what’s RIGHT the ramifications of altering history even slightly are staggering, but how could you live with yourself if you don’t protect someone you love when you have the ability to do so? Who is more important to you your sister who keeps pushing you away or your lifelong best friend who you’re coming to realize is the love of your life? Do you choose the person you love or the work that you love? Do you unveil the identity of a criminal who history has chosen to hide?

The characters are so well done- heroes and villains alike. I also love a good friends-to-lovers story- one of my favorite tropes. It was so unique that Kathryn’s time periods are so close together- the real danger of maybe running into herself or someone she knew 50 years before and the extra dynamic that added. Book 5 also stands apart as having a real, honest to goodness, MYSTERY, aside from the drama created by the time-crossing choice itself. What a roller coaster!

I loved every minute of this book and I never guessed all that was coming as I got nearer to the end. Meyer has truly penned another masterpiece. I hope this series goes on and on and on I’m here for every single one.

Jack the Ripper and Hitler, all in one book? Fantastic!

My. Brain. Hurts. (In a good way.)

But my heart is overwhelmed with so many emotions, I never want to forget this feeling.

Gabrielle Meyer has outdone herself yet again. I was unsure how she could possibly top book four of the series, and BOOM—she hits me with this masterpiece.
Pure literary genius! The way she plants clues throughout the story, only for everything to fall into place at the very end... it absolutely blows my mind. I just finished the book moments ago, and I’m still thinking back on all the subtle hints she dropped, wondering how I didn’t see it coming. I am gobsmacked.

The climax had me laughing out loud—hysterically—because I genuinely didn’t know how else to react. Laughter from disbelief and shock, all while holding my kindle with both hands, shaking it. My husband was concerned by the mere sight of me. Then, just moments later, I was sobbing from the heartfelt, romantic way she tied it all together.

5 stars across the board! Bravo for another beautifully, well told story, that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Wow, wow! Wow! This book is AMAZING! I think it's the best of the timeless series (so far!). It's set in the time periods of 1887 and 1938. In 1887, Kathryn discovered that her sister may be one of Jack the Rippers victims. In 1938, London was on the brink of war. As Kathryn uncovers more clues to help her sister, a sinister plot is unveiled.

The characters are wonderful and well written! Kathryn is fantastic. She deals with difficult circumstances in both of her lives, and she perseveres. She's also loyal to her families and she's not afraid to protect them. Austen, be still my heart! He appears aloof, but his heart just can't take another loss. He's true to his love and convictions.

The love story made me at times want to shout to the characters, "Can't you see that they love you?" But it all works out in the end, and it's heartwarming!

I can't wait until the next book comes out. It already sounds fascinating!

I have eagerly anticipated every addition to this book series, and Every Hour Until Then did not disappoint. One of the things I loved about When the Day Comes was that I had no idea how it would end happily and to my satisfaction. It did all work out, but I was reading as fast as I could to figure it out! In this book I felt that again, and I loved it! I was beginning to despair of it ever working out! But it did, of course.

I love how Gabrielle Meyer isn't afraid to tackle hard topics. It makes reading so much more interesting and my inner-writer greatly appreciates the information...

Overall, I adored this book. Sometimes book series like these can get redundant; not Timeless!

Five stars!

One of my favorite things about the Timeless series is seeing how the author is able to weave two separate periods in history to create one story that flows together perfectly. As someone who has watched several documentaries on Jack the Ripper, I was especially excited to see what direction Ms. Meyers took for her story. The theory she chose was so intriguing, and I loved seeing how it all came together in the end.

I adored Austen. He was an amazing MMC. And I loved the faith content and learning that God's plans are always better than our own. I, admittedly, did struggle a bit with the FMC. I admired her dedication to saving her sister, but her choices sometimes had me yelling, "What are you doing!?"

All in all, it was another compelling story in the Timeless series, and I can't wait for the next adventure!

Having not read this author before, I wasn't sure what to expect. This book was engaging and in the end, I couldn't put down. The story is uses two timelines, one intersecting with Jack the Ripper and the other just before World War 2. Both were equally interesting and the timeline aspect was done really well. The ending was very fulfilling.

Despite this being a series, this book can absolutely be read as standalone. At the end of the book, I rushed out to get all the other books in this series. There is another book in the series coming and I'll be rushing out to get it.

I receive complimentary books for various sources, including Netgalley, Authors, and other such sources. I am not required to write a positive review and have not received compensation.

I want to give a big thank you to Gabrielle for giving me an arc in exchange for an honest review.
This is the fifth book in the series and I don’t know how she does it but each book gets better and better. Gabrielle is a phenomenal author. The way she takes moments in history and weaves them into her stories is amazing. The time crossing storyline is beyond interesting and I love what she does with it. I hope this series never ends. I’ve got my fingers crossed that I’ll be reading book 50 in the future haha I highly recommend picking this series up. The plot twists she comes up with are insane. Her characters are written so well, the dialogue is always amazing and the writing style is beautiful.

I’m simply loving Gabrielle Meyer’s Timeless series! It’s so much fun for my history-loving soul, and I’m excited she’s chosen so many time periods and historical events that have fascinated me for years to delve into in these books.

Every Hour Until Then tackles two difficult subjects in different eras: the terror of Jack the Ripper and the early onset of World War II. I knew the basics of the Ripper story, but learned quite a lot from this telling of it and the various theories that still surround the case to this day. I enjoyed learning more about this fascinating, gruesome piece of history.

I loved Kathryn and Austen, and am eagerly awaiting the next book! 4.5/5 stars

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This fifth book of the Timeless series is as compelling as the first four. I really enjoy the dive into history I get from the books in this series. The characters are well developed, the history is researched in depth, and I can't wait to find out what decision is made in the end. This story had an added wrinkle, as the time periods were so close together. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
My gratitude to the publisher for a complimentary e-copy of the novel. I was not required to post a review and all opinions expressed are my own.

Every book I read by Gabrielle Meyer, I say it’s her best. But I honestly think this is the one. You can tell how thorough her research is, and I love how seamless the transition from time periods is. Austen.amazing. Absolutely loved seeing his growth and how he and Kathryn came to be partners thru it all. I wish her 1888 parents weren’t so awful, but there’s reasons for it. I love the mystery, the history, emotions, and everything else. If you’ve not read the Timeless series - DO IT!!

This has to be one of my favorite books in the Timeless series so far!! Kathryn’s story was so fun, so full of twists and questions and no answers until the end. Just when I thought I’d figured out what was going to happen, another twist would hit and I would have to start guessing all over again. Every Hour Until Then was sooo well written and includes details and snippets from the other books in the series that you won’t catch if you aren’t paying close attention. I love how close Kathryn’s timelines are to each other. I loved getting to learn about other time-crossers and their experiences (no spoilers!!!). One of my favorite parts about Gabrielle Meyer’s books is going through her note at the end that describes the historical events that happen in the book. She explains what she changed and what actually happened and which characters actually lived through that event. It’s so cool getting to see where her fiction meets reality. Highly recommend this book and all her others in the series!!!

I read about 60 percent of this book in one sitting, it was so good. I found myself thinking about the story and characters when I wasn’t reading the book. The romance was top tier and perfect, and I was giddy with delight when they would share even the smallest moment together. I have a difficult time picking which book in this series is my favorite because they are all so different, but this is a contender for the top spot.
