The Nice List Checklist is super cute holiday story that also teaches your child some fundamental rules that will last a lifetime. My kiddos are older and still really enjoyed this story. The illustrations were amazing and went along great with the story line as well! It also included a QR code for a letter to Santa which I thought was also a nice touch for the kiddos!

Delightful story book where you find out if you have done enough to make the Santa's nice list. With the help of his elves children have a fun interactive way to look at the little things they do on through out the year to help them make the list. This is such a cute book for kids and one that I think all children (being raised to love the tradition of Santa) should read it!! This book is about a checklist that Santa and his elves make that lets the big man know if you have been naughty or nice each year. Things like being respectful, listening to parents and teachers, sharing, using your manners, and showing kindness. All very important. He checks the list everyday to make sure you've been good and if you have then on Christmas morning you will have a surprise under your tree!! Super cute book. I can't wait to check out the other Holiday Checklist books in the series. This book has some QR codes in the back- one for a wish list to Santa and the other a naughty or nice certificate. Such a great idea to help with your holiday!! I think that this book would be great for younger kids. First library, preschool and kindergarteners would really enjoy this book. The illustrations are cute and fun, and the book really catches kids attention.

With Christmas approaching Santa needs to update his ‘naughty or nice� list, and so his elves are on a mission to find out who ticks all the boxes. Along the way, teaching children about being respectful, being nice & helpful, being kind/showing kindness, sharing & caring, and using manners. Which I think they are all wonderful attributes to teach children.
The story is told in a rhyming, lyrical verse-like style- which makes for an engaging read- capturing the attention of our younger readers very easily- as they embark on this little ‘adventure�.
This lovely little Christmas book will leave the reader with all the ‘feel-good� vibes of the season.

Grandmother approved book about kindness.
I gave this book a 5-star rating because I like all of the simple, easy to do, kid-friendly ways to get on the nice list. Kids will giggle as they see all of the poses and places that Santa and his helpers hide out to check up on kids and their behavior choices. The examples of kindness are something that every kid should see and strive to follow. The book is well written with fun, easy to read rhymes. As a grandparent, I highly approve, and find it a fun book to read over and over to reinforce the concepts in the book, as well to hear the kids� giggle. The book also invites discussion for other things kids can do to be on the nice list.

This is the first book I had picked up by this author, and it was so cute! My family and I love everything about Christmastime, so this was a perfect fit for us. Both of my kiddos bopped along to the melodic rhyming as we read this story together. It even kept the interest of my youngest which is a feat all in itself! While it feels like some books add illustrations just as fillers, these illustrations really stood out to me and added depth to the story. They are very beautifully done. I thought this may focus on Christmas alone, but it really teaches kids that the spirit of kindness should be year-round. This would make a wonderful addition to your home, classroom, or school library!

As a parent, I really loved The Nice List Checklist! Not only do I love a good rhyming book for kids, it's easy to get into a good read-aloud rhythm and find different inflections, it's a great technique for kids to remember the story as well. Especially important to me are books that include a positive message with examples of right and wrong-
All of that being said, The Nice List Checklist is an adorable Christmas book! Everyone knows Santa makes a list and checks it twice, but making sure you're showing good behavior year round is key! Super cute book, definitely needs to be added to your holiday reading lists!

The Nice List Checklist (The Holiday Checklist’s) By Brittany Plumeri
The Nice List Checklist is part of The Holiday Checklist's series and is a wonderfully written children’s book that my son and I loved reading. I love the meaning behind the checklist ,it teaches children to use kindness in everything they do,be patient with others and it encourages very good behavior. The colorful illustrations brought the story to life and I can guarantee it will be read many times in the coming weeks. This book shows children how easy it is to get on the nice list...and what will land them on the naughty one.
My girls loved this book. They said they like the bright illustrations, the rhyming prose that made it easy and fun to read, and the fact that the naughty and nice things were different colors.
Parent could definitely add this to their December book stack to read through the holiday season. It is fun to read out loud to the kids due to the rhyming, and it will keep the attention of younger kiddos due to the bright illustrations.

This was a super cute holiday book. I love that it encompassed all of the manners and showing of respect that kids often forget in the day to day scheme of things. The illustrations were colorful and cute. They will be great for the entire family to enjoy.
Also, I really liked that they referenced not only keeping up with the good behavior during the month of December, but for the entire year. That is often forgotten in many of these children's books.
I will be snagging a few copies for a few kiddos on my list this year for sure!!

If you enjoy showing what the true meaning of Christmas is, you want to get this book. No matter what we may be going through Kindness always matters. In this book it shows kindness matters and spreading joy. This book is a true staple to the meaning of Christmas. It will be placed in my Christmas book basket (where only top selections make it there) for all to read and enjoy when they come to my home. This is easy for little ones to follow along with and engaging and fun for all. Go get your Christmas Spirit going and get your rhyme on while you enjoy this treasure.

This is the first book I have read by Brittan Plumeri and hands down yes. Love this book and personally what I feel is a true checklist for naughty or nice. Respect. Kindness. Manners. All extremely important but the book goes a step further giving some easy examples of each. A beautifully illustrated, easy to read books for all ages as they learn truly how to earn a place on the nice list or better how to keep it. Look forward to reading more of the books in this new series. Book 2, The New Year’s Resolution Checklist, available December 12th, 2024.

This adorable Christmas book for little ones is fantastic. I love the illustrations and storyline. By using the “naughty or nice list� it encourages kids to be kind, compassionate and caring to others all year round. The added bonus of being able to print off a Christmas wishlist and Nice certificate is a great add to the book. This is one I’ll definitely be reading with the grandchildren every year.

This is a really cute children's book that reminds kids that being on Santa's nice list isn't just about being good around Christmas time. It also reminds them that it isn't just about being good…it's about being kind and well-mannered too. I really liked the rhyming aspect of it as well as the illustrations. They were modern and followed along very well with the story. In the back there were also QR codes that lead to free printables which was awesome. I can't wait to read more from Plumeri.

Absolutely adorable book filled with festive cheer, excellent illustrations, fun rhyming, cute elves and a sweet message about our treatment of others.
This book made me feel all the warm fuzzies of the season and the emotions of being a child in the excitement of the holiday spirit. The beautiful illustrations make it easy to understand the message of ways we can be "nice" to one another and helpful and kind. I really loved this book and loved sharing it with my kids.

Beautiful book. I love Christmas books, and this is a wonderful book for children to learn to use kind words, to have manners, sharing etc. And not just at Christmas time but throughout the year. It is nice to see may different races and ethnicities showcased throughout the book. At the end there is some interactive pages for the kids to make their wishes for Christmas and a certificate for the nice list, just a sweet addition.

The Nice Checklist by Brittany Plumeri. This is such a good holiday read for kids. Its a great rhyming book that teaches the true meaning of Christmas. It has beautiful illustrations and the rhyming really sticks with kids so they remember the story. It also has a very positive message that parents will love. This is a really cute story. It doesn't just talk about being nice. It explains to kids HOW they can be nice. I think that can be important so kids know more what they should do to earn a spot on that special list! I always love when kids books rhyme. It always adds a little something extra. This was a really cute children’s story that teaches kids how to get on Santa’s nice list. It also discusses the importance of respect, listening to your parents, proper behavior, and kindness. I loved how the book gave good examples of how to accomplish each, and the illustrations were cute. I also loved that in the back of the book, there were “Make your own wish list� and “Nice list� certificates. It's really cute for the youngsters.

The Nice List Checklist was an adorable read. Just in time for the Holidays, it gets your litte ones thinking about the way they act and how they treat others, even when Santa is the only one watching. The illustrations were wonderfully diverse making everyone feel seen and heard. Would absolutely recommend for a new family tradition read.

I read The Nice List Checklist by Brittany Plumeri with my two sons - D (age 6) and S (age 3). This book teaches kids about kindness and generosity as well as good deeds. We gave this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Very cute book. I did enjoy it and felt as if I were to read it to my nieces that they would enjoy it as well. The book teaches valuable lessons for all throughout the year not just Christmas times. Manners, respect and kindness are definitely things kids need to learn young. The drawings in the book were so cute. I would definitely get this for my younger nieces and nephew.

Cute rhyming holiday story reminding kids to be kind and have good manners using their checklist. I like all the ideas it gives kids on how to be or not to be all year around. Seeing the adorable little elves spying on the kids could really help remind them someone is always watching. This has good and colorful illustrated pages and is short enough to keep all ages interested.

This was an adorable, rhyming, children’s Christmas story. I really enjoyed reading this. The story flowed smoothly together and is a perfect reminder about how children should “behave� to make “The Nice List� and have all their Christmas wishes come true. There were even links to printouts of a certificate and list to make for Santa.
