Three years. That’s how long I thought I’d escaped the Iron Triad’s grip. Since high school, I’ve rebuilt myself, free from the torment of my three ex-bullies. But when Thorne, cold and unapologetic, lands in my checkout line, I know my past isn’t done with me yet. One by one, the Iron Triad—Thorne, Ryder, and Blaze—crash back into my life, staking their old claim on me with the kind of intensity that sends a warning and a thrill down my spine.
They say they never intended to let me go, that they’ve been waiting. But I’m not the girl they once toyed with. I’m stronger, sharper, and if they think I’ll crumble, they’re dead wrong. This time, I’m the one pulling the strings. Yet the closer I get to unraveling their secrets, the harder it is to resist the pull between us—and if I’m not careful, it won’t be them left shattered. It’ll be me.

Be advised there are a good many Trigger Warnings for this book, please be sure to read through them all before you begin this story.
Growing up as a young child Rae Knight used to hate reading, but as she grew into her adolescent years it all chnaged. It was this love of reading, mixed with her vivid imagination, that had her begin her writing career. The first books she ever wrote were at the age of fifteen scribble in the pages of a spiral notebook. Now a days, you can find her trying hard to write these bios in third person, which she doesn't even do in her books. When she's not teaching, she's mothering three small children. Her writing is mainly done once her littles have fallen asleep for the night.
Rae loves to interact with her readers the most, messaging back any who are willing to speak with her. So, be sure to follow her social media pages and reach out to her. The characters of her books are constantly living in her mind, missing them like dear friends when their stories end.

First off thank you for the ARC of this book! It was a fun ride 🙃😅 why choose anyone ? Here’s a little bit of the guys that I enjoyed 💋
“I broke that night too, having to choose between you and them - it shattered me. They’re my family, but you’re my heart. And I’ve lived without it for too long - Thorne
𝐻𝑒’ 𝓂𝓎 𝑔𝑜𝓁𝒹𝑒𝓃 𝓉𝒾𝒸𝓀𝑒𝓉 𝓉𝑜 𝑒𝒸𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓈𝓎
“Yell my name. Let them know who’s making you feel this way. Let them know you’re mine. Thorne
“Run run my little bunny. The big bad wolf is coming to get you - Ryder
Ohhhhh the scene running through the woods & taking her on the back of his bike 😏 Ryder Ryder Ryder you & that piercing my man my man my mannnn🫣🤤🤤🤤 && the collar 🧎♀️🧎♀️🧎♀️🧎♀️🧎♀
“All I ever wanted for you was to be happy, to be safe. I messed it all up. I messed us up - Thorne
It’s okay daddy i forgive you even if tori doesn’t 😏🥵
“You made me feel something I hadn’t felt all my life. & it frightened me so terribly all I could do was push you away, too afraid you’d consume me whole. - blaze
“I love you Victoria. I will take every bullet in this world for you, because a life without you isn’t worth living Ryder baby🥹
“She’s not your property
WRONG. She is, and now so are you
The CLIFFFFFHANGERRR Oh that was wrong 🫣😭😂
This was a really good read and the ONLY reason it didn’t get a 5 star was the guys constantly fighting over who is better. It’s not a pissing contest guys 😝- Just fuck our girl and get along 🥰
“she's our salvation and our ruin, all wrapped into one beautiful soul.
i normally enjoy dark romance books, and the way that this book was promoted spoke to all the things that i enjoy, but there was just wayyyy too much happening here.
the plot felt like it was all over the place, the relationships between the characters didn’t appeal to me, and i really didn’t like tori’s inner monologue. at some point, the plot points in the book became very predictable, but they also felt like they didn’t fit at the same time. up until a very specific chapter, none of the guys were okay with sharing her with one another even though that’s what the whole idea was (or so i thought). also, tori felt very immature (especially with her inner monologue and some of her actions), which contributed to how disconnected i felt with her character. there were also a few descriptions and comments made toward a specific character that i didn’t like at all, which contributes to my rating of this book.
i do enjoy bully romances, and i’m a big dark romance fan, but this one just didn’t do it for me. i also felt like the bullying wasn’t actually bullying and it bordered on genuine abuse.
this book definitely has potential, it’s just that things were not gone about in a way that i would’ve liked.
When your nightmares becomes your twisted reality
Victoria (Tori) has lived her life in a constant state of discontent. She’s stuck in a cycle of unfulfilled s%xual desires, lack luster college experience, and only one friend. Though she isn’t where she wants to be Tori is free from her demons, the Iron Triad. Until she wasn’t.
One wrong date and Tori is thrusted back in the grasp of her high school bullies. Each of the three men brings Tori more than she bargained for.
Rae Knight has done it again. I enjoyed this dark, why choose romance. When I say I’m excited to read Book 2
Thank you for the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences with your book.
So I’ll start by saying I did receive this as an ARC so I know I should give an honest opinion but I’ll make it short. This wasnt a bully romance, they terrorized her in high school. Not bullied her, terrorized her. I wanted more from the why choose. I was very disappointed. They each had potential. Especially Thorne. Throwing the mafia in and not really giving much detail was poor writing. It was unrealistic. The main character talked about how she was now stronger and independent. Then she was kidnapped by them and then…She caved to them so fast and always ended up in some damsel related trouble. And her inner dialogue was so immature. She is young and I get that but I wanted to give up so many times during her POV.
I finished out of necessity and a promise. It ends on a cliffhanger and I don’t want to read book two. However, if YOU liked it, I’m happy for you. You were the target audience, it was written for you. I’m glad you found good things in the book and you enjoyed it. Honestly. Every book deserves love from someone. I’m sorry I didn’t love it.

Thoughts-
This is my first book by this author. The first sentence of this book made me laugh. I knew she had me at that moment.
Thorne, Ryder, and Blaze.. redeemable A-holes! I loved this book. The banter, the drama, the plot twists, the cliffhanger
First, let me say thank you to Rae for sending me the ARC of this book ❤️ I was hooked from the beginning and the spice 🥵
Victoria (or Tori as she likes to be called) has been living a pretty unfulfilled life working at a coffee shop and has one friend, Alicia. She was bullied in high school and one wrong date puts her back with those bullies. These three guys give her more than she bargained for.
I cannot wait to read the second book as this one ends on a cliffhanger 😳 cannot wait to see what’s to come.
If you enjoy a bully and why choose romance with spice thrown in, then I’d recommend this book. It’s an easy, enjoyable read ☺️
This is a true enemies to lovers through and through. She’s known the boys since highschool where they all secretly loved her but didn’t know how to express that so they turned to their dark side and tormented her. They eventually kidnapped her and she Stockholm syndromed them hard. Falling for each of them in different ways. Thorne through their trauma bond of being in foster homes Blaze with his ability to have a clear head and be the authority figure. Ryder with his care free charming attitude that draws her in. 🤍The one thing I didn’t like was how they fought over her and struggled to share her. 🖤 I was on the edge of my seat clutching my kindle screaming please let them be happy!! I truly recommend this book!

Rae has a special knack for creating characters that you can relate to on many levels. This story was no different. I fell in love with all the MCs and I may even yelled a few choice words at throughout the book.

I was given the amazing opportunity to ARC read this book and was not disappointed in the slightest! Believe me when I tell you this book had me in all my feelings; squealing, laughing, wanting to throw my phone across the room... I'm still reeling from this read days later. The cliffhanger at the end should truly be illegal - though it definitely has me waiting for book two. The style is written really well and very descriptive to the point it paints a clear mental picture.
Right from the start the humor is there with Tori's inner monologue. Not to mention, Tori's unfiltered sarcasm is too funny for her own good. Her relationship with the boys is built really well - each one unique in both the type of relationship they have, along with what they bring to the table. The boys are so delicious. I do not blame Tori, I cannot pick just one - sign me up for all three! This is a book that is very hard to put down, so clear out a good afternoon/night and settle in for all the drama and funny quips.
Favorite quotes:
"Because like [a black dahlia], we can survive in the dark, determined to stay alive. But when given the right environment, we can bloom - dark and striking."
"I'm not trading a devil for a playful demon."
"Listen here, popstar [...] but you're so damn pretty"
"Be a good girl, Vic, Yell my name. Let them know who's making you feel this way."

I really enjoyed this book. I was hooked from the start and I had to make sure not to devour the whole thing in one sitting 😳
I loved the plot, the spice and the characters🌶 Thorne, Ryder (my fav 🤭) Blaze and Victoria.
I loved to see each characters POV however I would have liked to have more of the boys POV but apart from that I loved it!! 🥵 I’d also like to see some group scenes in the next book 🤭
I received an ARC copy of this book. I really, really loved this book. I love the drama and the feelings. The only thing I would have liked is more chapters from the men's points of view and more groveling on their part. Other than that, I absolutely loved this book. And I can't wait for book 2, I'm so excited. I wish it was out already. This is my first book by this author and now I'm going to go read her other books🥰🫶🏻
WOOF let me tell you. This book was so good! Tori is someone who was bullied when she was younger by the “Iron Triad which are three men, Thorne, Ryder, and Blaze. Thorne is your broody, calm collected I would consider as the leader of the group. Ryder is your typical jokester, comedic relief, but he doesn’t take any crap from anyone. Blaze is the silent but deadly type. He is the glue that holds the group together. These men really would do anything for each other. When Tori and the men’s paths cross after years of avoiding them, Tori’s life is forever changed. She becomes this strong, empowered woman through these three different personalities. There was a slow burn that was so natural in the story that it didn’t feel rushed or forced and I love that. Some books have the forced sex scenes and it’s a turn off but this one was the complete opposite. This book does end in a cliffhanger!!!! I will definitely be reading book two!
5 star read for me, am I impatient & want book two now.. absolutely! Need to know what happens next!!! Will I be reading it as soon as it comes out, 1000%! I don’t want to spoil a thing for anyone checking a couple reviews, but it’s worth a read! 🥰 And nope, I don’t have a clue which to choose.. why choose ;)

Definitely a different take on “Why choose trope. I enjoyed it though. It took me a bit to get over how childish the guys can be and fighting all the time in the beginning. Of course everything flowed better between them once they were ok with having to share her. I loved how you can feel all of their different personalities and how they all had something special with Tori. By the end I was wanting it to keep going so I’m looking forward to how book 2 continues.
*ARC REVIEW* This was addictive, captivating and I now have a new book boyfriend (Thorne, IYKYK). I loved the storyline, the twists and turns & the characters are *chefs kiss*. I was secretly hoping Thorne and Victoria would go to be the power couple that they are, but the fact she gets what she wants is admirable 👀 a dark, spicy read and I can't wait for book 2 to explain what happens next!
Oh my goodness. This book has all the best things - touch her and die, who did this to you, enemies to lovers, why choose...and more. The FMC is relatable, strong, quirky, and human. I love the internal dialogue from each character and the many layers to their personalities. Very well written and an awesome plot to balance out the spicy scenes. Already going to pre-order the sequel!
I just can't with this cliff is my only bad remark lol. There's so much that I have to say but need the rest first but will say you NEED AND WILL WANT TO READ this rae😍🥵🤣🤫😭 I hate waiting....... lol. Rh
I just wanted to say thank you to the author first because I absolutely appreciate being able to receive an ARC copy of this book.
I really started out enjoying the story. I do enjoy dark romances and the tropes and trigger warnings (which there are some so definitely look them over before reading) didn't put me off. I just found that the plot got very chaotic quickly for me. I struggled with connecting to all the characters as well as I just felt that their relationship didn't make sense. It didn't really give me enemies to lover vibes as they just kind of all got together almost immediately despite them literally tormenting her when they were in High School. The plot then became predictable, which isn't really a bad thing, but coupled with the worldbuilding not really being fleshed out, it was hard for me to stay into it. I finished the story with more questions then clarification.
I want to say thank you so much to the author, I loved being able to receive an arc copy.
I do love dark romances, and bully romances, but this to me seemed a little too unorganized. It does have a lot of the tropes that I do love, but it seemed a little chaotic. To me their relationship seemed very confusing. There wasn’t enough push and pull for a bully romance, they got together too fast in my opinion. It was a little hard for me to get too into it.
What a wild ride! This literally had me hooked from start to finish and what a cliffhanger! The characters drew me in and wouldn’t let go -I can’t wait for book 2! This book has themes and elements that will be triggering for some so please read the warnings before picking this up. The spice is off the charts and I adored the MMCs (I can’t decide who my favourite is). I loved Tori’s inner voice debating with her throughout the book too. Well written and absorbing -wow!
Such a great read so excited for book 2 (thankfully don't have to wait too long)
This books got everything
Forced proximity Touch her and 💀 Ex high school bullies Possessive Why choose And spice
Tori was tourmented by 3 guys in high school one of which she thought cared about her from their foster kids days. Just when she thinks she has grown up and is free from them the boys show up to remind her that she is theirs and only theirs. Heart felt moments, spice, gangs, and the boys fighting over who gets to claim her (literally)
I definitely enjoyed this one for sure. I enjoyed how Tori stood up to the three men and how her trauma was portrayed it made the story feel deeper. The way we got to see the men’s pov really helped me understand each of them and see why they were the way they are and how each held their own trauma. But to see how they all cared for Tori really drew me in and made me like all of them. I would highly recommend this one but read your triggers first
