Kashan
If only animals could speak!
I thought that after all these years, the sight of her grey headstone and the small plot of land designated to her on this earth would shatter me completely. Instead, an overwhelming sense of helplessness washed over me. I thought that after all these years, the sight of her grey headstone and the small plot of land designated to her on this earth would shatter me completely. Instead, an overwhelming sense of helplessness washed over me.
"Your body may look to be at peace in the coffin, but I know your spirit is still in torment. Don't worry my baby, I will not let your suffering go unanswered. Today I have finally found the first stone to be placed inside the grave of Daniyal’s happy family. The day he would lose his beloved son forever; I would recite Daniyal’s 'Ṣalāt al-Janāzah' on your grave. Just have trust in your brother, Daniyal’s son would pay for his father’s sins. I will breathe my last only after making Daniyal pay for his sins I promise!!

Daniyal
I remembered the first time he called me "Dad," his voice full of innocent affection, and how my heart had swelled with a love so fierce it was almost overwhelming. But now my son was not a child anymore... The realization hit me like a tidal wave—I had spent so much time trying to mold him into what I thought he should be, that I had forgotten to let him be who he truly was. I had forgotten that, just as he had learned to walk on his own, he needed to learn to navigate life on his own terms. But how could I let go? How could I stand by and watch him stumble, possibly fall, when every instinct in me screamed to shield him, to guide him away from pain and mistakes?
Sometimes, life throws you into the eye of a moral storm, leaving you torn between ‘Should I? and ‘Shouldn’t I? And doing the right thing hurts you the most.

Arsalan
Do this, not that!
Smoking underage (pre-14)
Drinking underage (pre=15)
Sex underage (pre-16)
Of all the things I could do, challenging my Dad's authority was the one thing that made me feel truly alive, truly in control of my own destiny. Every rule he laid down was like a red flag, daring me to cross it, and I was more than willing to take that dare. So, I did the opposite of what my Dad expected of me. Alas!! Little did I know
'Your fate is like a blank page, and your family provides the ink.'
In my case, that ink was already drying long before I was born, as the story of my life was inscribed with the burden of an ancient promise. My pages were heavy with expectations and rituals I never agreed to, weighed down by decisions that weren’t mine to make. But here’s the thing about books written against one’s they can always be torn apart. No one ever asked what I wanted. No one cared how I felt. But I’ll write my own story, even if I have to start from a blank page. And that’s the only fair way!!

Minha
“Pretend? I don’t need to. I give a damn. My willingness to get hitched to that orphaned sparrow my family picked from some dunghill cannot even be measured on the Kelvin scale it’s below absolute zero.
The memory of Arsalan’s cruel words cut into me like shards of glass.

T Shree has always made me 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄 with her writing, and I adore them! 𝐓 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞'𝐬 "𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 & 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐃" is a masterfully written and incredibly detailed 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 - which is what I adore most about it. Her writing makes the 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 that is certain in this plot stand out. 💕

Even after reading this specific book again, the experience I am sharing now will always be 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡. The 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫 𝐝𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 combined with the 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 are enough to grab my 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Their 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐝, and the characters in particular teach you what 𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐲 is. 🪐

We are given a 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 on the world by 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐥 and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐦. 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞, and 𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 - perhaps more than anything else - we felt the 𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 through the characters who are genuinely struggling to keep their 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 and remain 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 throughout the story. 🥂

The aspect of this story - 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - is the most 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. I am with the characters' 𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫. Literally! How can I so easily get into these characters? 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧 and 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐥 are like two different people. The author created a lively and remarkable range of emotions in this story.

Her 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 is 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, and the storyline shows 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞. Yes, you can find these pages overhype after reading millions of highly acclaimed romance novels worldwide. But I am not the type to give you false hope - I think this 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐭 works well for me. 🍂

Book Review: When Hate & Love Collide- Part 1 ( You & Me Series)

Author: T Shree

This book is huge in the sense that its main characters are royal, locations are international and the time period of the story spreads over three generations. It is written in a grand style, studded with famous English quotations/ poetry as well as Arabic/ Urdu "shayari" alongwith it's translation.

The settings are grand too, royal palaces and foreign locales including Munich, Turkey, Los Vegas besides Lucknow and Faizabad near home.

The main character includes Daniyal belongs to the royal family of Ghaznavi nawabs , who once ruled the kingdom of Oudh. A
family which has a great reputation to keep up.

Then there is another family belonging to one of the clans of Pahlavis of Iran, who settled in India after the Iranian revolution. Shehzada Kashan Ali Pahlavi belonging to this family is another important character in this story.

Both families are related to each other as the maternal aunt of Kashan Ali, who happens to be the mother of Daniyal, going by the name Nargis.

In the very beginning of the story we come to know that Zenab, the loving little sister of Kashan Ali commits suicide on account of her unrequited love towards Daniyal, who already married his college mate Mariam.

Zenab's death sets Kashan Ali, a reputed cardiologist and a philanthropist, turn against Daniyal. How he goes on to try to achieve his revenge is a matter of suspense, and I don't want to have spoilers in my review by telling more about that. Zenab's love towards Daniyal turns into hate towards him in her brother's mind.

The book reflects the glory of an ancient era, the life styles of Nawabs, their personalities , their traditions, customs, beliefs. The love story of Daniyal and his deep commitment towards his wife capture the heart of readers.

Another aspect I liked about the book is the way parenting issues are dealt with. Fathers who have to rein in their rebellious children would surely empathise with Danial, his wife will be liked by those mothers who keep on protecting their children from their fathers' ire.

There are many interesting twists to the story, and finally it stops suddenly leaving you yearning to read more. One has to wait for the upcoming next part to know the rest of the story.

I just feel like reproducing so many shayaris we find throughout the book, but confine myself to just quote this.
" Go ahead and search for someone who loves you more than I do. If you find them, be happy and if you do not, remember that I am still yours." There are many such quotable quotes in every chapter. I would highly recommend this book to everyone!

I'm amazed and mesmerized by the sheer efforts Tanu puts in her stories. She has literally gone out of her comfort zone and created a masterpiece that readers are going to remember for a long long time.

Also thanks Tanu for the kind mention 🙏🌸 in acknowledgement. I still remember the long voice messages we exchanged while you were plotting it. Back to the story..

When Hate & Love Collides isn't just a romance story it's so much more than that. It's filled with a rich plot that consists of family feud, rivalry, cultural dynamics and ancient promises.

All that and more combined in an engaging narrative. The use of Arabic verses at right moments and their meaning added more weight to tha scenes. It needed a thorough and deep research of an ethnicity that's not yours and she aced it. The characters are deeply flawed but the way they are still bound to their roots are just phenomenal.

The story is set on a royal backdrop, The Nawab's particularly and Daniyal’s character takes centre stage, exuding nothing but royalty. Mariyam is his perfect fit, supporting, encouraging and standing with him through thick and thin. What a beautiful bond they share, I'm just in love with them. In fact I would like to read more about Manvendra too. The bond Daniyal shares with his best buddies are so pure and selfless.

This book is all about Daniyal and his struggles to balance between being the Gaddi Nasheen/ Sajjada Nasheen ( successor to a throne in ancient practices) and the modern perspective that he has for life. These practices are old but in royal families they are still very well executed and followed almost religiously. The challenges he'd faced raising his kids, especially Arsalan ( the golden boy of the family, future successor) in between the intricacies of old promises, practises and modern mindsets.

As we all know it is also a stage setting for Arsalan and Minga’s story which has the small glimpses of them in this one and their character arcs are intriguing enough to keep us hooked to them. I'm already so invested in the next part because the way Arsalan’s and Minga's characters are developed in this one is just something that promises more entertaining twists and turns with a dose of toe-curling, spicy romance ( hopefully 😉).

If I have to talk about this book I could talk non-stop and still wouldn't be tired. That showed the hold it has on me. I'm just praying that Tanu will complete the next part super soon so that I don't have to wait for a long period. I'm already barely containing my excitement for it.

This is no doubt a must read. Because the richness of the plot shouldn't be missed. The new and fresh take on romance which I guarantee you haven't read before.

Tanu you better bring the next part super soon. 😭 I need the story of the Badass Arsalan Ali Khan & Minha’s like I need air. Please write it soon 🙏.

Have you ever picked up a book, thinking you’d read a chapter or two before bed, only to find yourself wide awake at 3 a.m., heart pounding, unable to stop? That was me with When Hate & Love Collide - Part 1. T Shree, known for her beautiful storytelling, takes readers on an emotional whirlwind through royal palaces, tangled relationships, and the unyielding push-and-pull of love and revenge.

The story revolves around a royal family caught in a web of power, tradition, and secrets. Daniyal, the family patriarch, is weighed down by past mistakes, while his son, Arsalan, is determined to break free from his shadow. When Arsalan meets Minha—a compassionate yet fiery woman—it’s like watching a spark land on dry leaves. Their connection is raw, complicated, and utterly unputdownable. Each page feels like peeling back a layer of this intricate world, and just when you think you’ve figured it all out, the book ends on a cliffhanger that leaves you gasping, “What happens next?

T Shree’s writing feels like a warm cup of tea on a rainy day—comforting yet stirring. She blends English with the poetic beauty of Arabic/Urdu shayari, creating a rhythm that feels almost musical. Her descriptions of palaces and bustling streets are so vivid, I could practically hear the whispers of the corridors and feel the heat of the Turkish sun.

It’s the characters that truly shine here. Daniyal reminded me of my own father—a mix of strength and vulnerability, carrying the weight of expectations. Arsalan’s rebellious streak felt so relatable, especially if you’ve ever tried to carve out your own identity in a world full of rules. And Minha? She’s the kind of character you root for, cry for, and sometimes even want to shake for making questionable choices. Their struggles felt real, like conversations I’ve had with friends about love, duty, and finding yourself.

The story is like a perfectly choreographed dance—each chapter flows into the next with just the right balance of drama and reflection. The pacing kept me hooked, and the twists? Let’s just say I gasped more than once. By the time I reached the end, I was torn between frustration (I need the sequel NOW!) and admiration for how brilliantly T Shree crafted this tale.

What struck me most were the themes of generational trauma and the weight of revenge. Haven’t we all seen how unresolved pain can ripple through families? But then there’s also love—messy, complicated, and ultimately healing. It made me reflect on my own relationships and the ways we carry (and sometimes let go of) the past.

This book is a rollercoaster for the heart. I cried for Daniyal’s pain, smiled at Minha’s quiet strength, and held my breath during Arsalan’s moments of reckoning. Few stories make you feel this deeply.

The cultural richness, the poetic touches, and the layered relationships are pure magic. It’s a story that stays with you long after you’ve turned the last page.

If I had one tiny gripe, it’s that the number of characters sometimes made me flip back a few pages to keep track. But honestly, it’s a small price to pay for such a rich story.

This book reminded me why I love stories so much—they’re not just entertainment; they’re a mirror to our lives. Arsalan and Minha’s journey felt like a conversation I didn’t want to end.

If you’re looking for a book that will make you laugh, cry, and think deeply, When Hate & Love Collide - Part 1 is it. I can’t wait for the sequel to dive back into this world. And trust me, you’ll want to come along for the ride.

I’ve read countless stories that begin with a familiar rhythm: a male and female lead, how they meet, their love, and the obstacles they face. But this story by T Shree is something else entirely 🤩. It transcends the typical and dives deep into a world of Nawabs, royal legacies, age‑old promises, and the weight of history carried across three generations 👑📜.

The way the author weaves this tale is nothing short of extraordinary 🎨. From the very first chapter, I was completely immersed 🌊. The narrative doesn't just focus on the lives of Daniyal Ali Khan Ghaznavi, the Gaddi Nasheen, and the people he loved. It gives life to every single character, every emotion, and every consequence that echoes through time 💖.

Daniyal is betrothed to Zainab but hopelessly, soulfully in love with Mariyam ❤️. Their love story is raw and real, it nestled deep in my heart 💓. But Zainab's heartbreak becomes the catalyst for an emotional storm that spans generations 💔. Her brother, Kashan Ali, consumed by grief and revenge, vows to destroy Daniyal’s life—a promise he never forgets, even when Daniyal does ⚔️.

What follows is a gripping saga involving Daniyal and Mariyam’s life, their children, and especially Arsalan the wild, untamed rebel 🔥. Alongside his two fierce companions, Shishir and Samar, they form the Devil Trinity 😈. Each one is unique, bold, and unforgettable 💥.

Then there’s Minha, an innocent, naïve, normal girl who might appear only in the later part of this story but is going to be a strong pillar in the next part, around whom the story will be focused 🌱💪. Her role unexpectedly shifts the entire narrative. How? Why? That’s for you to discover 🤔.

The author has beautifully crafted a complex storyline with grace, emotion, and depth 🌟. The cultural richness, emotional intensity, and generational layers are all portrayed with remarkable sensitivity 🌺. And not to forget, the shayaris are pure magic each line echoing the soul of the story 🎶. They don’t just complement the narrative; they elevate it, adding rhythm and depth that stay with you 💫.

The ending, with its perfectly placed cliffhanger, is the final stroke of brilliance 😲. It’s bound to give readers sleepless nights, minds racing with possibilities, and hearts aching for more 🌙💤.

This isn’t just a story. It’s a legacy, a saga and truly one of the most enchanting tales I’ve read in a long time 🌹📖.

“To everything, there is a season A time to love and a time to hate.
This line from the Bible perfectly sets the tone for When Hate & Love Collide Part 1, a story that grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go. If you’re someone who loves the emotional depth and family drama seen in Pakistani serials, this book will feel like home.

The story revolves around four central characters—Kashan, Daniyal, Arsalan, and Minha—each carrying the weight of their past and struggling with the expectations placed on them.

Kashan is driven by pain and a thirst for justice for his beloved sister. His inner monologue reveals the torment of a brother who is plotting revenge while grieving silently.
Daniyal, a father caught between love and control, beautifully portrays the agony of wanting the best for your child while unintentionally pushing him away.
Arsalan, the rebel son, is fiery and broken—a young man trying to rewrite the fate written for him, refusing to be just another chapter in someone else’s story.
Minha, caught in the emotional crossfire, is torn between standing up for her own dignity and fulfilling the expectations of a family who sees her as a burden.

What stands out is not just the story, but how the author uses faith and duaas as a recurring theme—offering strength, hope, and healing during some of the darkest moments. The emotions are raw, the characters feel real, and the dilemmas are heart-wrenchingly relatable. There are moments that make you stop, think, and even whisper a prayer.

One beautiful surprise for me was that the name "Nargis"—Minha’s Amma—is also my mother’s name, which instantly created a personal connection with the book. And the way Zainab’s obsession and longing were written—it was intense, emotional, and deeply human.

The writing style is simple yet impactful. Every dialogue, every thought, every prayer hits the heart. This isn’t just a story of hate and love—it's a story of faith, family, forgiveness, and finding your own voice in a world that often silences you.

I’m genuinely looking forward to Part 2 because I know this journey is far from over. If you love stories that stay with you long after the last page, give this book a chance. It’s not just fiction—it’s emotion, wrapped in words.

Have you read something so mesmerizing that it keeps coming to you as a beautiful memory?? Something that gives you authenticity, a royal touch, a well-researched plot, and love that goes unconditional and beyond imagination. Well, author Tshree has all the above qualities in her recent release, and it will definitely capture your heart. You will see what true love looks like, a great bond of friendship between two generations, a bond of family, a bond of father and son, the height of revenge, and the fun of teenagers.

You can feel the vibration of the Royalty, their rules, their heritage, and their duties, whereas at the same time, you will see their commitment towards their loved ones, themselves, and their caring nature.

What makes this book stand tall amongst its genre is the research involved and how carefully the author has collected information regarding the culture and rituals of a particular custom. The verses Arabic verses used give that most required touch to the complete plot. Every part of the story has been carefully crafted and executed. The bantering involved between friends is cute and hilarious, and when it comes to the father-son duo, it's full of fire.

Daniyal is the real hero, he is the most loved character for sure. A brilliant lover, great husband, amazing father, and best friend. His character is the backbone of the story. The way he loves his wife, the way he takes the stand, and how beautifully he claims his love in front of the whole world is so heartwarming. He is a brilliant father to the naughtiest kid, but still, he holds the command efficiently.

Mariyam is equally beautiful 😍. Their love is an example of how couples should be. She is the control of Daniyal's anger and she is the reason why Daniyal is Daniyal. She has the key to Daniyal's heart and rules his life with tremendous love. They are giving the most beautiful couple of goals to all of us.

This is just part 1 of the book; the next one has more to come, with lots of fun and fire.

When Hate & Love Collide Part 1 is an emotional love saga and a part of the You & Me Series by T. Shree.

The story is about Daniyal, a descendant of the Ghaznavi Nawabs of Oudh. The story revolves around two prominent families: the Nawabs of Kingdom of Awadh and the Pahlavi Clan of Iran. Daniyal is the patriarch, trying his best to balance responsibilities of being a royal successor, while his son, Arsalan, wants to chart his own path. Arsalan meets Minha and is drawn to her. What follows is not just a love story, but a story full of twists and secrets.

The story explores the dynamics between the two royal families and their members, exploring the relationship between them. Daniyal is the central figure and the book explores his struggles as a royal but also as father to Arsalan with whom he shares a not so perfect relationship. Exploring the clash between duty, love and relationships, the book slowly builds up towards the climax.

The characters are well crafted; from Daniyal, Arsalan, Minha, Mariyam, to others. Each character has his unique strengths and weaknesses, making them feel life-like. The setting of the royal Muslim family is unique and the story captures the royal vibe with the grandeur of palaces and exotic locations. The use of Urdu couplets is a nice touch. The story ends on an intriguing note, setting up the sequel.

Overall, 'When Hate & Love Collide' is an absorbing drama that will keep you hooked till the end. A great read for romance lovers.

This is another story from the You and Me series. I have read some of the books in the series, though I haven’t completed it yet (planning to do so soon). Most of these stories are set against a royal backdrop. In the earlier books I’ve read, there was a distinct royal Rajasthani feel, but this particular book has an enchanting Arabic touch. The poems and shayari in this book are truly mesmerizing, making it my favorite read in the series so far.

The story revolves around two prominent families: the Ghaznavi Nawabs of the Kingdom of Awadh and the Pahlavi Clan of Iran. Through this narrative, the reader is transported to various corners of the world, including Munich, Turkey, and America, as well as Indian locations like Lucknow and Faizabad. The story spans generations, weaving intricate connections between the families and their members. It beautifully juxtaposes the grandeur of the ancient era with the emotions and reactions of contemporary characters.

The story begins with the tragic suicide of Zenab, the beautiful princess, and her unrequited love for Daniyal. Initially, I felt Daniyal was in the wrong, but as the story unfolded, I began to understand his love and unwavering commitment to Mariam. That’s when I truly fell for him. While I sympathised with the pain of Zenab’s brother, I couldn’t overlook the passionate love Daniyal had for Mariam. For the first time, I found myself falling for two men in the same story.

The dance of love in this book is incomplete without the beats of pain and the melody of revenge, which together make the story hauntingly beautiful. The journey it takes you on is mesmerising. After a long time, I felt deeply engaged in such a tale that spans time and emotions. I simply can’t wait for the next book in the series!

When Hate and Love Collide is a captivating story where love, vengeance, and legacy intertwine. The tale follows Daniyal, whose unwavering love for his wife Mariyam is tested by the hatred of Kashan Ali, a man determined to avenge his sister Zainab’s tragic suicide. While Mariyam’s faith and resilience symbolize healing, Zainab’s obsessive love and its aftermath spark a cycle of revenge, creating a powerful contrast that keeps readers emotionally invested.

Set across grand international locations and steeped in the traditions of royal Nawabi and Pahlavi families, the novel paints a vivid picture of cultural heritage and familial pride. The author masterfully weaves in elements of poetry, shayari, and timeless quotations, enriching the narrative with layers of emotion and authenticity. The characters, especially Daniyal and Kashan, grapple with moral dilemmas, making their choices deeply relatable despite their aristocratic backgrounds.

With unexpected twists and a sudden, suspenseful ending, the story leaves readers yearning for more, eagerly anticipating its sequel. It’s a beautifully written saga of love and hate, offering a poignant exploration of emotions, traditions, and the fine line between healing and destruction. Highly recommended for lovers of emotionally charged, culturally rich stories.

Did you ever read a book or series that has made you cry, laugh, heartbroken, and confused at the same time?

This book was kind of like that for me. I knew Daniyal, Shishir, Arsalan, Mariyam from the last read. But Daniyal's history , about his family and Zainab's family were all new to me. It took me a few chapters to connect all their relations and how the story was building, the plot and everything, but after all the book was so wholesome. I was always a fan of hate-to-love tropes in books but OMG this was next level. I can only imagine how Minha and Arsalan will be going to heal each other from the family history and chaos of betrayal and revenge . The way the author has presented every relationship with depth was really commendable.

Through Arsalan and Daniyal bitters-sweet relationship showed us the reality of how generation gap brings different perspectives and bridges a gap between most understanding persons as well. It's not always happy and understanding but a mere heart-to-heart conversation is the solution. Mariyam was such a sweetheart and the epitome of kindness. She always puts everyone's happiness first and Daniyal's family legacy before her own life.

I'm kind of afraid for the next book ( not ready for all the pain and suffering ) but I'm excited to see how Minha and Arsalan's will build.

Title: When Hate & Love Collide - Part 1 by @ttrisha_a

(5/5)

"Love born in the ashes of hatred... is it still love, or something far more dangerous?"

Tshree delivers a masterful whirlwind of emotions in When Hate & Love Collide, painting a heart-wrenching tale of vengeance, tradition, and a love that wasn't supposed to exist. From the very first chapter, I was pulled into a world where royalty isn't just about titles-it's about power, silence, and secrets buried deep.

Kashan is the kind of character who leaves a lasting impact-tormented, complex, and utterly unforgettable.

Minha, on the other hand, is grace wrapped in quiet resilience, fighting battles that no one sees. Together, their chemistry is explosive, the kind that simmers beneath the surface before breaking into an emotional storm.

What I loved most was the way Tshree layered her characters-every decision felt heavy, every emotion real. The multi-generational saga added so much depth and richness to the narrative. It's not just a love story. It's a saga of honor, betrayal, sacrifice, and redemption.

If you love: Slow-burn romance

Enemies to lovers with intense chemistry

Royal backdrops and family drama

Emotional chaos with a poetic vibe

-then When Hate & Love Collide is your next obsession.

This isn't just a story. It's an experience. And Part 1 leaves you craving more.

I recently read about Daniyal in the previous book and fell in love with his character, his shayaris, his love for his children, and how he helped his friend in tough times, without any idea of what he went through in his own life. Being a royal always comes with difficulties, and putting legacy and tradition before your own happiness. I admire Daniyal's courage to step away from all this and find his one true love, Mariyam, but I couldn't hate Zainab as well. Her feelings, her love, everything in her life was all about Daniyal; it felt like she lived only for him, and once he was gone from her life, she left as well. And this shattered the beautiful bond of two families, making them drown in grief and hate.

Apart from the heartwarming emotions of love and hate, the book represents the conflicts between a father and a teenage son. Almost all of the time I hated Arsalan for being the spoiled brat and always putting Daniyal in problems. Between their ups and downs, there was someone already planning to take revenge on Daniyal's family. Minha's character is still a mystery to me and I know this will bring a lot of chaos in when her true identity will be revealed. The book left us on a cliffhanger, and I can't even imagine what a rollercoaster of twists the next book will bring.

What an emotional rollercoaster this book was!! 🥹💔 I seriously lived every moment while reading it. The author has such a beautiful way of creating relatable characters and weaving emotional depth into every page.

The story, the plot, the characters... everything was just amazing! 🌟
I felt so bad for Zainab—she didn't deserve the pain she went through—but at the same time, I could understand Daniyal's reasons too, and that made it all the more heartbreaking. 😭

And oh my goodness, Daniyal's grandmother?? I don’t think I've hated a fictional character this much in a long time! 😤 The things she did were so cruel. And Arsalan... my heart hurt for him too. 🥺 Once you see the reasons behind his behavior, you can't help but feel for him, even if his actions were wrong. And it broke my heart seeing Mariyam and Daniyal so worried for their son—it was so real and raw. 💔

And Minha?? 😭 That girl deserves so much better. She's so pure, so innocent. I just wanted to wrap her up in a hug and protect her from all the pain.

Overall, this book was a perfect blend of angst, love, heartbreak, healing, and hope. 💖
I honestly enjoyed it SO MUCH and I’m already hooked—P.S. I’m definitely reading the whole series!! 🤩📚

Daniyal was such a kindhearted and carefree person in the last book I read. But never knew the kind of things he had to go through to live a beautiful life.

The book shows how many storms Daniyal had to face to be that calm and composed. I don't know how Zainab and Daniyal would have been together, but I can't imagine Daniyal without Mariyam, even though I have read many books where arranged has been a huge success. I think it's not just about arranged or love marriage; it's more about what destiny has planned for us.

Reading this book felt like fate is trying to find all the pieces together to build a whole life but also destroying and making people suffer on the way. It was full of heart-wrenching moments like Zainab's shattered heart, then Mariyam deciding to leave Daniyal for his family, and Kashan grieving his little sister. Will Kashan succeed in destroying Daniyal's happiness? How will it affect Minha? And will Kashan be able to forgive Daniyal? And above all, how will love bloom between Arsalan and Minha among all this chaos?

I can't wait to find all the answers in the book.

When Hate & Love Collide Part 1" is an emotionally intense continuation in the You and Me series by T. Shree, known for her ability to blend royal elegance with raw emotional depth. This book is not just a love story—it’s a battlefield of past regrets, powerful vengeance, and unshaken love.

The narrative weaves around Daniyal, a man devoted to his wife Mariyam, and Kashan, who is burning with hatred and revenge for the suicide of his sister Zainab. What makes the story stand out is how it dives deep into the clash between love and hate—two powerful emotions that define and destroy characters in equal measure.

Mariyam’s strength and calmness act as a beautiful contrast to the chaos of Kashan’s fury. Zainab’s past and her obsession show how love, if not understood or respected, can be destructive. The way these emotional layers are revealed shows T. Shree’s strength in writing characters who are deeply flawed, yet deeply human.

The royal backdrop, family conflicts, and multi-generational perspective add richness to the plot. The book also touches upon how revenge doesn’t always lead to closure, and sometimes, forgiveness becomes the bravest choice.

📚Book Review: When Hate & Love Collide by T Shree

⭐RپԲ:4/5

This book is about love that’s not easy. Daniyal and Mariyam are the main couple. Daniyal is from a royal family and has a lot of pressure on him to do what his family wants. But he loves Mariyam, and their relationship has many ups and downs because of family rules and problems.

The story also talks about other characters like Arsalan and Minha, who have their own love and struggles.

The writing is very emotional and sometimes uses beautiful, poetic words. It makes the reader feel what the characters are feeling. The story moves between the past and the present, it helps to understand why the characters act the way they do.

🌸What I liked the most:

The characters feel real and easy to understand
The love story is strong and emotional
The writing is beautiful and touching
There’s a good mix of love, family problems, and personal growth

When Hate and Love Collide is a book where we witness the power of one's love clash with the hatred of the other.

On one hand we have Daniyal who loves his Mariyam to the end of the world. On the other side we have Kashan who wants to avenge his sister Zainab who had committed suicide because of rejection from Daniyal.

The book is a testament of how traditions, promises and obsessive love create war. While on one hand we see the love of Mariyam flowing like a gentle river for Daniyal
While on the other hand we see the obsession of Zainab to ensure Daniyal will never have a peaceful life after rejecting her.

The characters are etched realistically with their moral dilemmas and at the same time the author has kept the thin line between what's right and what's wrong. The path of healing and path of burning was available to both the women. Mariyam walks the path of healing with faith, while Zainab decides to burn. A really wonderful book about stories where love clashes with hatred. Highly recommended!

Reading this book was like testing myself of how much heartbreak I can handle. From the start to the finish , I felt the grief of Kashan, His pain felt so real, and his promise to make Daniyal pay kept the tension in the book. I was afraid for how Daniyal and Mariyam's life would turn out , I was shattered for Minha , I felt Daniyal's struggle and helplessness to understand his son as a father. As a father it's very obvious to feel like losing your child to the wrong path.

It made me think of how sometimes , even with best intentions , we can hurt people we love.

Minha was my favorite character. Her innocence, her love for her family who raised her, and her determination were so inspiring and powerful.
Filled with the beauty of culture, the royal family, destiny, and responsibilities, the book is wholesome.

This book hit so close to home. With all the characters that felt real, I found pieces of myself in them. It represents how our decisions can affect others lives and how betrayal can ruin lives.

This book delivers a beautifully woven tapestry of emotions, with characters that feel so real you can almost hear their voices. The interconnected stories of Kashan, Daniyal, Arsalan, and Minha explore themes of vengeance, love, rebellion, and self-discovery in a way that is both profound and relatable.

Kashan’s pain and his unwavering determination to seek justice for his sister’s suffering are incredibly moving, yet his path raises questions about morality and the cost of revenge. Daniyal’s perspective as a father is equally compelling, highlighting the struggles of letting go and the fear of watching your child navigate life’s challenges.

Arsalan’s rebellious nature and defiance against family expectations make him a character you may not always agree with, but you can’t help but understand. Minha’s resilience in the face of rejection and cruelty is both heartbreaking and empowering. The writing is deeply emotional, with each character’s journey leaving a lasting impression.

Highly recommended!

This book is a deep, emotionally gripping tale of intertwined lives, filled with raw emotions and complex relationships. Each character brings a unique perspective that adds depth to the narrative. Kashan’s unrelenting quest for justice is heartbreaking, his pain radiating off the pages.

You can feel his anguish and determination to avenge his sister, even as it takes him down a dark path. Daniyal’s struggle as a father is deeply relatable—torn between protecting his son and letting him grow into his own person. Arsalan, on the other hand, represents rebellion and the desire to break free from the chains of expectations, yet his choices reveal the consequences of living recklessly.

Minha’s story is the one that stayed with me the most. Her strength in the face of rejection and cruelty is both inspiring and heart-wrenching. The author does a phenomenal job of weaving these stories together, showing how love, vengeance, and duty can shape lives in unexpected ways.

This isn’t just a story—it’s a journey through pain, redemption, and the choices that define us.

This is one of those rare books that grips you from the first page and refuses to let go. The author masterfully brings together the lives of four distinct characters, each grappling with their own struggles and desires. Kashan’s grief and thirst for revenge set a powerful tone for the story, making you question whether justice and vengeance can ever truly coexist.

Daniyal’s internal battle as a father, torn between guiding and letting go, resonates on a deeply human level, showing the sacrifices and fears that come with parenthood. Arsalan’s rebellious streak and his yearning to break free from societal expectations make him both infuriating and relatable.

Minha’s strength in dealing with rejection and finding her voice is perhaps the most inspiring arc of all, reminding readers of the power of self-respect. The writing is evocative, pulling you into the characters world and making you feel every emotion alongside them.

It’s a story that explores the complexities of relationships, the weight of expectations, and the resilience of the human spirit. A must read!
