Nix and Rust are on a little getaway...and she meets his magic pet toad Rick....he is a big blue toad and he has decided he likes Nix....I love this couple...and I love this series...this little novella was perfect and I recommend it!!!

Taking time to relax before the craziness of touring kicks up again, Declan and Nyx are going on a camping trip with some of their friends and family. Nyx also sees this as a good time to connect with her fey side even more. What she wasn’t expecting was to find out Declan has been hiding a very important part of himself from her.
“So he just sits around and lords over everyone, stealing cake, demanding different hats and singing?�
Yep, that’s Rick. A glimmer toad that imprinted on Rust when he was a kid and picked him to be his caretaker. He’s also a self important a-hole that demands attention constantly, and who knew what kinda mood he’d be in from day to day, or what hat he’d want to wear � whether it’d be a cowboy, a Viking, or a king. Nyx wasn’t quite sure how she felt about Rick at first, but Rust cared about him and she loved Rust so she’d make it work. Turns out he’s not so bad.
This is a fun, short, and steamy read that will literally have you laughing out loud, not only at Rick, but at Rococo (the bull rabbit) and his attacks on Winter, too. And oh my god, do I love Declan Rust!!! All hail King Rick!

The band is taking some time off before going back into the thick of things by camping. When Nyx meets Rick, she doesn't know what to do with him. He's demanding and bossy, but Declan loves him. The band's pets are in full show in this short and you don't want to miss it!
If you're looking for a quick read to tide you over before Pin Your Wings comes out, this short will be the perfect thing for you!
