Why Don't You Save Me?

Rate this book
Got it! Let’s reshape this with the guys being more protective, angry, and determined to get Tori back after being kidnapped by Nico. They’re furious, desperate, and ready to do whatever it takes. Here’s a revised

We will get her back. No matter the cost.

Tori’s been taken. Nico's done the unthinkable—kidnapped her right from under our noses.

We’ve spent years fighting for her, trying to prove that we’re the ones who deserve her, and just when we managed to have her the way we've wanted, ’s got her. He’s using her. Telling her to say she hates us, that she never loved us. And I can’twe can’t—let that stand.

S’s ours. She always has been. And Nico? He’s playing with fire.

We’ll burn everything down to the ground to get her back. We don’t care if it’s him or anyone else who stands in our way.

Blaze’s already paying the price for underestimating him, but Nico doesn’t realize what ’s done. The second we get our hands on him, he’ll wish he never laid a finger on her.

We’ll break every rule, every line, because there’s no way in hell we’re letting her stay in his grasp. This is no longer about proving we’re the right ones for her—it’s about saving her. And when we do, Nico will regret the day he ever thought he could own her.

Growing up as a young child Rae Knight used to hate reading, but as she grew into her adolescent years it all chnaged. It was this love of reading, mixed with her vivid imagination, that had her begin her writing career. The first books she ever wrote were at the age of fifteen scribble in the pages of a spiral notebook. Now a days, you can find her trying hard to write these bios in third person, which she doesn't even do in her books. When she's not teaching, she's mothering three small children. Her writing is mainly done once her littles have fallen asleep for the night.

Rae loves to interact with her readers the most, messaging back any who are willing to speak with her. So, be sure to follow her social media pages and reach out to her. The characters of her books are constantly living in her mind, missing them like dear friends when their stories end.

I will never not love a why choose romance. I 10 / 10 recommend reading why don’t you make me first before reading why don’t you save me because it does pick up where that one ended. Rae knight has done it again.

I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC reader, this is the first time being an ARC reader as well. I absolutely LOVE this series, Ryder is 😍🥵 definitely could have used more of him lol, loved him in the first one with that motorcycle scene 😮‍

Anyway, this picked right up where it left off. If you’re like me and was annoyed with Alicia in the first one, prepare to hate her in this one😒🤦🏻‍♀ I get that she was being manipulated but I feel like you should probably trust your best friend over some psycho?🤔

I loved the reunion with the guys, but I wish there was more of it lol. Thankfully there is going to be a 3rd book so I’m sure I will get my fix in that one 😂 I felt like there was perfect balance of suspense/action and spice👌🏻❤️ just how I like my books lol.

Why Don't You Save Me picks up right where Why Don't You Make Me ends. Tori is taken by Nico and the guys are going crazy trying to figure out a way to get her back. The guys work with crime boss, Diablo, to get her back. There is a major battle, who will come out on top?

**Book Review: The Iron Triad by Rae Knight**

Rae Knight has done it again! This dark romance was everything I anticipated and more. The Iron Triad did not disappoint in the slightest. And Tori—wow! She truly lived up to her chaotic expectations.

The way this story unfolded was pure chaos in the best way possible. As a reader, I felt like I was on a thrilling ride, spinning through all the plot twists and character developments that Rae masterfully wove throughout the book. I am absolutely living for this dark romance!

The spice? A solid 5 plus! Each of the main characters had to confront significant parts of themselves, which added depth and complexity to their journeys. Tori discovering her dark side was a phenomenal twist, and watching the Iron Triad set the world ablaze to reach her was everything I needed.

If you’re a fan of dark romance filled with intensity and character growth, you won’t want to miss this one.

Happy reading!

This book has it all, action, explosions, t*rture, and romance. Dark, brutal romance!
Tori is gone and the guys are bloodied but not broken and they won’t stop until they have her back. Nico was a fantastic villain, smart, one step ahead and viciously brutal. I wasn’t sure how it was going to play out with him but I think what happened was the best outcome. As we’re Tori’s choices for the future, my heart jolted at some of them though.
Loved the change in dynamics between the guys, Ryder, we need a bigger bed to no eye contact between them to hmmm, he looks hot doing that to her.
I don’t know if there’s going to be another book for these characters but I certainly think that there’s more than enough scope for it and I’d be excited to read more about them.

Wow.. this second book was JUST what I needed!! Rae is phenomenal with her writing and storytelling.

These 3 boys are my fav of all so far. The relationships they have with each other and then also with Tori make these books so good. Tori went on such a personal journey in book 2, she changed because she was forced to.

Nico was literally the perfect douche bad guy.. and Alicia...ugh.. that's all I'm saying about that!

I really hope there is a book 3, and if so, I can not wait to read it and see about this new journey and all the trials that will come with it in Roseburg!

✨”To the filthy minds who came back for more-you already know what you signed up for. This time, the stakes are higher, the sex is dirtier, and the love is messier.”~ Why Don’t You Save Me, Rae Knight

The way I have absolutely loved their story! Two for Tuesday, if you have not read Why Don’t You Make me and Why Don’t you Save Me, I highly recommend diving in! All the feels, dark themes, why choose, amazing character development and definitely brings the spice!

✨I can’t wait to read more from this author! Both of these amazing stories are available now on KU!

This was a fantastic read, I couldn’t put it down! I needed to know what was going to happen next. I loved watching Tori come into her own while the guys embraced their darkness to protect her, even though she didn’t need it. I was shocked by Alicia’s actions after everything Tori did for her, it was heartbreaking to see their relationship take that turn. Overall, this was highly entertaining, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

All I can say is: yes queen! Yesssssss! These men hold a special place in my heart. Thorne and his quiet brooding and never wavering love. Ryder and his quick wit and humor has me cracking up at the perfect time. Blaze and his strong silent type. Gosh they are just perfect. The spicy scenes were perfection. Literally. Read it in one sitting. Sooooo good y’all.

This was a 3.5/5 for me. While I enjoyed it, I felt like the overall storyline of being kidnapped and Nico’s involvement was very rushed. I would have rather had the book be longer to have more experiences under Nico’s control. His two chapters were interesting and I would have enjoyed more from his perspective. Instead it was only a few days apart from her men, so I found that aspect a bit lacking. I did enjoy the book but I felt like it wasn’t as exciting as the first one, especially with the cliff hanger at the end of book one. I do love the characters and think it’s worth the read. Just wasn’t my overall favorite. I am excited for book 3 though to see where they end up and if the third book redeems itself in my eyes. I received an arc copy of this book for an honest review.

*ARC REVIEW*
I read WDYMM as an ARC and was interested to see how this would follow on from the story. I did really enjoy the plot and how dark it did get at some places, it really showed you the strength of the MCs and how they would do anything for each other. The spice level was good and the story was quite fast paced. I did love Tori's developing relationships but I still wish it was just Tori and Thorne who were together instead of her and all 3 men. I felt the connection between Tori and Thorne is so much stronger which was really sweet to read about and we're my favourite parts of the book. I don't think the connection Tori has with Blaze and Ryder is as well developed and does feel like a cop out like it couldn't be decided who Tori would end up with. It's definitely a good series but I would have preferred a different outcome.

This is another 4.5 star read for me. I think I enjoyed this one a little bit more than the first. Please check all TWs before reading this one as it feels much heavier to me. I loved seeing the guys develop and start to come into their emotions more. Tori’s internal banter is still top notch.

I really liked the first book, and couldn't wait for this to be released! And it's even better!
It takes over where the first one ended. And it got (almost) everything!
Kidnapping, torture, action, betrayal, character growth just to mention a few!
The guys is better, not the same childish rivalry. They even start to embrace rh!
FMC's inner monologue is still there!
I really recommend this series!

✨ARC Review

This book picks up right where “Why Don’t You Make Me left off. I loved the first one, and as I expected, I loved this one just as much.

Tori is our feisty FMC with a deep love for her men, and they’re determined to bring their girl home. Ryder is still my favorite man but Blaze is coming in at a close second after this.

Secrets are unraveled and danger seems to lurk around every corner. Betrayal comes from those you don’t expect and unexpected alliances change the course of our main character’s lives.

If you love why choose romances with danger mixed in, I highly recommend these books.

I was lucky enough to do a Beta read for this book after finishing the first one ! This picked straight up from where the other ended which I loved, no need to repeat things over again. It's a beautiful mix of spice, trauma, revenge and heartbreak. Can't wait to see the final results and if a book 3 comes out way 🤞🏼

Edit- final product is out and it's amazing 🤩 I cannot wait to see how book 3 goes. I need more asap !!

I was fortunate enough to get a ARC of this book, it did have a few wording errors but I’m sure once released those will be fixed. But continue on to hear my loooog review pretty sure this is a first for me lol.

This book picks up right where the first book ended. If you were as annoyed with her bff Alicia in the first book, buckle up because I’m sure you’re gonna hate her in this book.

I dont know how she was able to fully trust a psychopath over her best friend that was like a sister to her. I get that she was manipulated & he broke her down to where she would only trust him but still OPEN YOUR EYES woman.

So it starts off where it ended in the first book, s’s kidnapped by Nico & the guys are going crazy trying to find her & save her. It has alot of POVs. You get Tori’s POV of how s’s handle while in captivity & her thoughts. Nico’s POV & his plans for her, Ryder/Blaze/Thorne’s POVs of how they plan on getting her back & how they’re coping with her gone.

When they do finally get it her back, I loved the reunion they have. I wanted more of it but with everything happening around them, it makes sense that they can’t just forget about the danger that’s lingering around the corner & live in a fantasy bubble.

I do think Rae portrayed Tori well after s’s saved by the guys, her PTSD of a sort, not feeling comfortable with certain things because of what happened while being in captivity & being on edge that he might be in the shadows ready to take her again. I feel like those feelings & thoughts would happen to someone who was kidnapped.

I do feel like the dynamic is gonna change some in the next book with Ryder at least. I’m not sure if ’s getting a bi awakening or what but I love him either way. With him waking up spooning one of the men while all in bed to freaking out & being awkward for a few days & avoiding eye contact to THEN thinking Thornes actions are HOT & THEN as Tori handles Blazes 🍆 ’s getting turned on (definitely see this dynamic changing next book) to Ryder saying they need a bigger bed to fit them all. LOOOL

I also want to say I LOVED the friendship with Ryder & Keagan. They are literally the same person lol it’s like his own twin.

I can’t wait for the next book & all the new challenges they’ll soon face together.

Why Don’t You Save Me picks up exactly where the first book, Why Don’t You Make Me, left off with Tori being taken by Nico, the leader of The Niners.

I loved the fast pace of this novel. It kept me wondering what would happen next, and how the Iron Triad —Thorne, Ryder, and Blaze, would tackle getting back Tori and finding a way to move forward. Some of the twists and turns were entirely unexpected and kept me coming back for more.

The group found themselves in this novel, and I am looking forward to seeing their relationship continue to grow and evolve.

Tori’s inner monologue throughout this novel is everything. She has so much sass and a smart mouth that you can’t help but love this FMC. I love that she can’t keep her mouth shut, even when she knows it will land her in more trouble than she knows what to do with.

I loved the changing point-of-views throughout the novel. I always enjoy reading the story from each character's point of view, as everyone has a different perspective.

We meet some new characters in book two that really help to bring the story to life. They added additional humor and tension to the novel that keeps you entertained and engaged.

Readers must read book one, Why Don’t You Make Me, before reading this novel to understand the complete story. There is some dark subject matter present. Please read Trigger Warnings before starting the story.

⭐️ 4.5 Stars | 🌶 4 Spice Rating

I received Why Don’t You Save Me? as an ARC read, and let me tell you—I was not ready for the emotional rollercoaster Rae Knight put me through. This book had me gripping my Kindle like my life depended on it. The intensity, the desperation, and the sheer force of love and vengeance are everything I was hoping for—and then some.

Tori’s been taken, and her men are out for blood. Blaze, Ryder, and Thorne won’t rest until s’s back where she belongs, and they’re willing to tear the world apart to make it happen. The tension is palpable, the emotions raw, and the stakes? Through the roof. Rae Knight delivers an action-packed, high-stakes romance that’s dark, addictive, and impossible to put down.

This book delivers on all the why choose goodness, with morally gray heroes who will stop at nothing to protect what’s theirs. The captor/captive dynamic adds layers of tension, and the slow burn only makes the eventual payoff even sweeter. And let’s talk about the spice—because, wow. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The chemistry crackles on every page, making every stolen moment between Tori and her men all the more electrifying.

If you love dark romance with high-stakes action, intense emotions, and protective (borderline unhinged) heroes, this book is for you. Now, the real struggle? Waiting for book three!

Just..... WOW!!! Was lucky enough to be added as an ARC reader and get the second book!!!

It did not disappoint. It picks up right where book one ends, so book 1 is a MUST. In this book we delve a lot deeper into who the fuck Nico is and the motives behind everything he does. He is a sick, dark and twisted man. But underneath it all he is lonely and desperate for love even though he claims it's a weakness. But we see it in his POV chapters when he talks about Tori.

The betrayal of Alicia was heartbreaking but also empowering.

Everything The Triad has been though for Tori is absolutely amazing. These men do not give up on her AT ALL. NO MATTER WHAT!!! Their constant encouraging words, reassurance of their love and belief in Tori and telling her their true feelings was so heartwarming. But honestly I think what broke me was the scene with Tori and Ryder together for the first time alone after Nico. Her Confession to Ryder of being scared of him because of what Nico did and Ryder giving up some of his control...SHIT and his inner monologue HIT HARD.

The new relationships with Keagan was hilarious. Marcus was another tough area for Blaze but it seems to have been worked out. I'm curious about Juan and Diablo!!!
I need to know where this is all heading!!!

Tori has been kidnapped by Nico, The Iron Triad HAS to get her back. There are no other options, no more room for errors. They will save her and when they do Nico will wish he had never looked in her direction.

This was a great sequel, action packed and filled with “what next the writing was so well done I was constantly asking questions or forming theories and Rae made sure everything was answered, nothing missed out.

The character development was perfectly done. Toris inner monologue was hilarious, she came so far from where she started in book one. Not only this but watching the boys show their vulnerabilities, the depth of their feelings for Tori, was refreshing, they may have stuck to their plans to get her back but they did so whilst show how deeply the care about her and how without her they are shells of their former selves.

I personally felt the mix between plot and smut was perfect, I know some like more / less but honestly it all fit together so well in the end.

This is absolutely not a guilty pleasure, but it feels like a guilty pleasure read.

Okay, first: we’re definitely avoiding the sequel slump with this one! I’m so excited to read the next book in this series because everything I was concerned about with the transition to mafia romance in the first book was cleared up AND we got a book that was just as good as the first!

Our characters were great! Everyone was at the same level as the first, even without the additional backstory consistently adding more to each of the main characters. We were introduced to some really intense and interesting side characters, too. (Having met a Keagan, I feel like his personality tracks in a “he also doesn’t give a flying rat kind of way.

I loved seeing Tori’s evolution and the darker side of everyone else. Ryder managing to still be kind of golden retriever through this all is just too cute, which is something I never thought I’d say about a mafia romance. S’s totally starting the German Shepherd boyfriend, and I’m not mad.

While I loved the evolution of this storyline, there was a bit of a hitch about the same place in this book. It’s not super noticeable and doesn’t take anything away from the experience, but as Knight switches gears toward the third act that ties to the next book, we see that slight shift that says this will be important. It does have me excited for what we’ll see in book three and how everything wraps up in the trilogy for sure!

ARC Review ✨️

♡Wonderfully Written

I was obsessed with these characters in the first book, and I'm so happy to be in their world again🙌 This one picks up exactly where we were left off last. The author did an amazing job combining a slow burn romance while making the story as a whole fast-paced.

All aspects of this book were phenomenal! The inner dialog Tori expressed was the best, and the overall growth of all our guys was such a treat! They definitely came out of their shell a lot more emotionally than in the first book.🙌😍

Why Don't You Save Me is the perfect read for dark romance lovers and anyone looking for a book filled with action and some pretty amazing characters 🔥🖤😍

Shout out to Rae for sending me an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.

I only received this book this morning and I absolutely could not put it down all day, Ryder, Blaze and Thorne are all hot in their own ways and Tori is a badass, it’s a thrill to read and I was happy we finally got them all having their fun at the same time, SO hot.

I didn’t really see the point in Nico’s pov chapter and his feelings seemed too deep toward Tori considering he had spent all of 5 mins in her presence.
And Alicia was infuriating, but I would have loved a few chapters from her pov. Nicos scheming with Alicia could have been so much more intense if we’d seen it from her perspective.

I also would have loved a bit more between Tori and Diablo, considering he had spent so long turning the world upside down trying to find her it felt like his reaction to having her basically served to him on a platter was bit lack lustre

But Overall I really enjoyed this!

After finishing book 1, I needed more 😂 finally got more. This book kept me interested- I started it at 8am and finished it around 7pm, reading any spare minute I had! I love Rae’s writing style and story telling nature in general, but this book in particular 😩
Blaze, Thorne, & Ryder are on a mission to rescue their girl & booooooy do they get it done with Tori front and center!
Rae gave me everything I needed to tie this story up in a perfect little bow and ended things in a way that didn’t leave me unsatisfied with the ended.
I left off a star because in this book the back & forth of characters every chapter was a tad hard to follow in some parts but overall I love love love this book. Very thankful for the opportunity to enjoy this story 💞

I got the pleasure to be part of Rae Knight team and was excited to do an arc review. This is book 2 and the smooth transition from book 1 to book 2 was great. The story continues Tori and her boys into the world of chaos she had found herself in where they all make discoveries and have make decisions. The story dives into dark moments and (dark) self reflections from the characters and loved to see the characters growth. The spice from this book was hot. If you read book 1, the spicy was good, but book 2 takes it to a different level you didn’t know you needed. The story is dark so make sure you check the trigger warnings before hand. Other than that, I enjoyed this books to the fullest and can’t wait for what’s next to come.

I had the wonderful honor of being an ARC for this book and it didn't disappoint at all!!! When Rae left me on a cliff hanger at the end of book one I was itching for book two to come out. I can easily say this was one of my favorite reads of the year! Revenge looks good on this group of dark and broody bullies. Reading about them going out of their minds to save Tori, only for her to show she's a bad b*tch who can do it herself was amazing! Watching Tori release her inner monster had me kicking my feet and cheering her on the whole way. Also watching her fall deeper in love with Blaze, Ryder, and Thorne was pulling all of my heart strings. I swear I will read anything Rae writes about this trio of morally dark (but softies at heart) boys!

After finishing book one, I was desperate for answers and couldn’t wait to dive into this sequel. And wow—Rae did NOT disappoint! She delivered everything I hoped for and more, tying the story together in a way that exceeded all my expectations.

Our boys set out to rescue their girl from a dangerous situation, and from there, it’s an absolutely thrilling ride of retribution. The intensity never lets up, keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

This book has everything—passion, devotion, heart-pounding action, brutal revenge, and all the morally grey perfection I was expecting after book one. If you love dark romance with high stakes and unbreakable bonds, this series is a must-read!
