It all started with an innocent request…Melissa's friend Shane asked her to accompany him on a business trip to an exclusive resort. But The Sweet Surrender is no ordinary vacation spot--it's for men and women who swing. As Melissa mingles with the other guests and discovers the resort's fantasy rooms, she's tempted to explore her naughty side and live out her most sinful fantasies—but she isn't prepared for the storm of desire that awaits. She soon finds herself torn between two men, one of her oldest friends and a handsome stranger who belongs to another. Both men bring her the most exquisite pleasure, but which man will win her heart?
Her work has been described as "scorching," "intoxicating" and "brilliant," and this is Opal Carew's hottest novel yet. Visit The Sweet Surrender and sample its decadent pleasures for yourself…if you can take the heat.
Wow, wow, wow! Extremely satisfying, with equal quotients love, sex and desire. This is my second book by Opal Carew, and she has become a must read for me.
The very first line of the book is, “Would you come to a Swingers club with me? This story just jumps right in :) Shane and Melissa have been best friends for years. There’s been some hope for more, especially on Melissa’s part, and now they have suddenly found themselves single at the same time. Shane is tall, sexy, rich and ripped to perfection. An adventurous man with few inhibitions, he needs Melissa to pose as his wife as he evaluates a potential investment a swingers resort called The Sweet Surrender during the resort’s week long orientation session. Suzanne, the sexy and independent owner of Sweet Surrender, is just as audacious as Shane when it comes to the bedroom. She suspects the unidentified buyer will send an associate to evaluate the resort during orientation. So Suzanne asks her best friend and sometimes lover, the gorgeous private investigator Ty, to pose as her husband and help her identify the potential buyer so she can ensure Sweet Surrender leaves a good impression. From the moment the 2 “couples arrive at the resort, Ty and Melissa can’t keep their eyes off each other. Melissa is conflicted, because it’s Shane she loves and wants to be with, right? :) I loved Melissa’s transformation through her time at the resort; Sweet Surrender awakens secret desires within she never knew she had.. And Ty? *sigh* You will love him! Melissa, Shane, Ty and Suzanne are ALL integral players in the story here.
Carew did such a fantastic job writing this - as a reader, you really feel as if you, too, are spending a week at Sweet Surrender the nightly activities and special rooms, so much fun! Blind Man’s Lust, the voyeur rooms, the plays (this is NOT your Broadway fare!), the spontaneity of it all. Sh*t is going down left and right, but it always adds to the plot and never feels gratuitous as it develops one of the main characters in some way. And when you get to the dungeon scene, OMG! And the ending? Carew has done it again! Even MORE amazing then Blush’s ending. FYI, the group sex does involve some female/female interaction.if you can’t handle that, why on earth are you even considering a book called "Swing"? LOL! Enjoy ;)
Well...As I sit here fanning myself after reading "Swing" by Opal Carew, I'm trying to decide what to say. There is ALOT of really, really, really HOT sex in this book. There's twosomes, threesomes, foursomes, vaginal sex, anal sex, oral sex, sex in private, sex in public, and light bondage. I don't think I left anything out, but surely that's enough to let you know if this is a book that will entice you or offend you!!
The only drawback I found was the lead female character. In just a few days she went from prudish monogamist to no-holds-barred sex kitten. While it made for a great book, it just didn't ring true for me...but hey it's fiction!
So if lots of lots of scorching action is what you're looking for, look no further. As for me, I'm off to read "Blush", Carew's next offering...and I'll be sure to have something cool to drink and my cigarettes handy!!
Wow! This book definitely lived up to my expectations! I dont even need to write a review do I? Just read Mahlet or Laura's review and you will know what I think!
Smokin hot! and I love a good HEA!
This was a really sexy read. Oh, and the dungeon scene! Did I mention that I thought this book was hot? I'll say it again for good measure... HOT!
WORD OF CAUTION: Very hot, very explicit sex scenes.
Melissa has had the hots for Shane for a while now. And she believes that Shane simply looks at her as a friend and nothing more. And being a friend, he needs her help.
Shane is looking into buying an exclusive resort, Sweet Surrender. The resort is an ordinary resort; the resort is for swingers. While single women can get in without question, single men can’t, which means Shane can’t go and check it out without a companion. And Melissa is the only one he’d trust to bring with him.
Melissa wants to balk and choke, but then the wheels in her head start turning. This is the resort that her sister mentioned. Seems she and her husband had been having difficulty lately, and her husband suggested they find a sitter for the kids and go. Melissa doesn’t like the idea one bit. Her sister isn’t a ’swinger and believes they’ll be making a huge mistake. And the only way she can report anything about it to her sister, is by going with Shane.
Shane has no problem getting into the ’swing of things. But Melissa is having a hard time. For everyone seems very open-minded here, uninhibited, and that’s making Melissa very uncomfortable. She doesn’t understand how two people who are supposed to be married and love each other can simply turn around and sleep with someone else. To her, that’s not the idea of commitment. And her feelings only become more confused when she watches Shane participating in an orgy. Her ‘hots for Shane has risen to new heights, and she finally manages to tell him.
Shane is urging Melissa to open up, let her inhibitions go. Try something new, live on the wild side. At least no one knows her here, and she can ‘play to her heart’s content.
And Ty wants to be the one to help her. Suzanne, the current owner of Sweet Surrender and his best friend, has asked for his help as a private investigator. She’s convinced that someone is going to check out the resort of a potential buyer, and Suzanne wants to make sure that person has a good time. Friends with benefits, he’d do anything to help his best friend. And he’s almost convinced that person is Melissa.
Ty is falling for Melissa, Suzanne is falling for Shane, Melissa is stuck between Shane and Ty, and Shane thinks he might be falling for Suzanne. Until something happens at the resort that will knock the secrets up in the air, the potential for heartbreak.
Oh, did I like this book! Really, really, really liked this book. It was recommended to me by a group of women I trust (to my fellow “P”s, you know who you are, and I’m sending a resounding THANK YOU! your way), and they didn’t steer me in the wrong at all. Very, very hot scenes that actually made me damp in several places, gave me some wicked ideas to try (wink, wink,) and with the characters emotions in the mix, this author can really entertain a reader. Her characters are real and have feelings, every day emotions that we all feel, which made me love them all the more. Through in a bit of a mystery, and I had a very hard time putting this book down. Can’t wait to read this one to hubby See if he comes up with some ideas.. (wink, wink!)
WORD OF CAUTION: Very hot, very explicit sex scenes.

Oh Purvettes! Righteeooo Again! I might have to use Throwback as a benchmark for hot writing but this is way something altogether different. It has many more things that I like...2, 3, 4 and more. OK NOW! I had to hide out in my car and drive to a park to finish this book this morning because the dishes needed to be washed and the vacuuming needed to be done and all of the Saturday stuff needed to be done. Isn't that why we have children, so they can do this stuff? Loved the dungeon. Loved the partner/group combinations. I had to lock my car doors and turn on the air conditioning. Swing was a very hot surprise.
I cannot review this book, because there was no story. Or should I say none worth writing about. This book was exactly what the shelf I filed it on says. CHOCKED FULL OF SMUT AND NOT MUCH ELSE!!!!!
So if that is what you are looking for...look no further!
Melissa Woods and Millionaire Shane Mason are best friends and Melissa is half in love with him. Shane is interested in buying a swingers resort so asks Melissa to pose as his wife while he checks it out undercover, Straightlaced Melissa is not too keen. Then she learns her sister and husband plan to use the resort so Melissa agrees to go and check it out in the hope of dissuading her sister from going.
Ty Adams and Suzanne Fox are also best friends posing at the resort as a married couple. Suzanne is the owner of the resort and Ty is a private investigator. They want to check out the potential buyer, but as they dont know the identity they need to get to know the new arrivals, Melissa and Shane included. Ty sees that Melissa is out of place in the resort so gets close to her, but he is also attracted to her. With Ty as her guide Melissa starts to enjoy the resort and all its pleasures.Add in loads of sex and I mean loads.
It seems I am in the minority again with my ratings. The premise to the story I loved, a swingers resort for couples with loads of hot sex. The sex scenes were more quantity than quality and got a bit repetitive at times but there are a couple of really hot scenes. I find in most erotica books the authors can get the sex and the lust protrayed perfecly, its when they try to develope the lust into love and make the H/H believable that usually falls flat for me. A lot of authors dont succeed in doing this and OC is one of them.
They were on resort for 5 days and thought they were in love after 2?. In a resort with strangers having sex, no-one used a condom?, I know they have to take a medical before arriving and be STD free but still it bothered me. I found the ending a bit abrupt and I wouldn't hold out much hope for their HEA or their future.
Bottom line is this is a book only about sex and if thats what you want then buy it now. If you are looking for a erotica book with a gripping story and good believable characters, love etc, along with the hot sex then I would have to say look elsewhere.
so this is book worked for me!....yeah Im easily seduced by this type of story...swingers/hot sex/ménage/HEA. Throw in a tropical island and a quick read and I'm all happy happy happy. Sometimes you just want to read some smut that among other things leaves a smile on your face :)
YOWZA, I think my crotch hurt just reading this book! There is so much sex, I can't even imagine being able to walk out of that club walking a bit funny. LOL
that being said, it was a great piece of erotica. The HEA at the end was a bit too convenient for me, but other than that I had a whole lotta fun reading this book.
If you don't want very descriptive sex scenes in your books, then this one probably isn't for you. And if you aren't open-minded and partner swapping, then for heaven's sake don't pick up a book about going to a swinger's resort!
However, if you are not bothered by the above, I think you'll have a good time reading this.
Reading this book was kind of like watching two days worth of porn on T.V. and while some scenes were very good, the majority of it was monotonous and lacked in the plot department big time. I guess I should’ve know better when I picked up a book that was about a “swinger’s resort that there wouldn’t be much of a plot, but this was my first read by this author and I was intrigued. Melissa has agreed to go with her bff, Shane, to a swinger’s resort that he is considering buying out from the current owner, Suzanne. Suzanne is curious as to who this “purchaser is and hires her bff, Ty, who happens to be a P.I., to join her at the resort to help her scope out the buyer. Right off the bat, when Suzanne is propositioning Ty, she immediately engages in oral sex and intercourse with him! Wait, he’s her “friend right? That should’ve been a sign as to where this book was heading. Melissa and Shane go to the resort and Shane immediately engages in the “activities going on in the resort while Melissa is left to roam and wonder as she will NOT take part in any of the activities whatsoever. Yeah right. That lasts oh about five seconds. While “observing Shane in a sexual act with multiple people, Melissa meets Ty and immediately the waters part, bells ring, and angels sing and they both know they’ve found the one. Needless to say there was a lot of eye rolling going on this one. To sum it all up, Melissa obviously doesn’t stay shy and unwilling to participate long, as within the first couple of chapters she sleeps with her best friend and goes to bed with a married couple! Like I said plot, not so great in this one. This book is full of clichés and major cheese factor. After only knowing Ty for a whopping 4 days, they both declare their undying love for one another only to get pissed at the other for pretending to be married? One thing this book did have going for it was the hot, hot, sex scenes. But it’s like eating leftover pizza for more than a day, it gets boring after awhile when there’s nothing else. I’m going to be generous and give this book 3 stars. It was ok, but I definitely won’t rush to read another book by this author anytime soon.
Ugh! I really, really wanted to like this book. The basic story has real potential and I was excited about reading it, but the plot or lack thereof left a lot to be desired. There is no doubt about it, the sex scenes were imaginative and hot but there really needs to be more than just a lot of sex to make a book good. Quite frankly, I got a little bored with smut...hahahaha! Yes, I said it: I GOT BORED WITH ALL THE SMUT!!! I felt that the overabundance of sex clouded an otherwise good plot--with all the sex there was no space for plot development.
I think this story deserves a rework in the future. With a some plot expansion, I think this could be a really great book. As it stand now, it was just ok for me.

This book is erotica, so if that's not your thing, stop reading.
This story is set on a carribean island at a swingers resort. The plot revolves around the female owner of the resort needing to sell and a male millionaire who's considering buying. Both are single, so they each ask friends to pose as spouses so they can scope out the property/buyer without the other knowing. By the HEA ending, they've swapped partners for good. Along the way, there are gazillions of menage/exhibitionist sex scenes, in all sorts of configurations. The author is definately more of a quantity than quality kind of erotica writer.
Opal Carew is known for sexy as sin erotic novels. I pick these up because I love the swiftness of Carew's novels and the passion between each page. Most of them are hits for me, but sadly this one was a miss.
I'm intrigued by the Swinger lifestyle. Would I ever be a swinger? Hell no, I have too much jealousy floating around in me for that to even be an option. But I do like reading about Swingers and their lifestyles. When I saw Swing at my local used book store I picked it up right away.
With that being said, This was a miss for me. I wanted more story and less sex. I feel Opal Carew had a genius idea and this book could have been great, but with the overwhelming amount of sexy time scenes, Swing became a somewhat repetitive and redundant novel, which in other means caused the passion to be underwhelming.
All I wanted was a little more story in between the sexy times and It would have been a great hit for me.
Dangerous to your health!!! Play close attention to your heart rate, take several breathing breaks & many cold showers, unless you have Lelo, if so break it out!!! You won't need lube!!! First I'd like to say that this book was packed with steaming sex scenes, covering pretty much the whole list of erotica play!! You may have noticed that from all the shelves I added it to!! Swingers Resort huh??? I thought that meant husbands and wives met up with other couples for couples play! Ha ha ha!!! At this resort anything & everyone does whatever with whomever they choose, basically only sharing a room with their husband. Yes, this is a resort for husbands and wives. The problem with that rule is that Shane isn't married & wants to experience first hand the resort he's interested in purchasing, so he invites his best friend Melissa to pose as his wife. Definitely feeling sparks between the two of them though!!! Suzanne is the owner of the resort & wants to attempt to find out who in the group is the potential buyer to assist the buyer with falling in love with the resort like she has. Of course, Suzanne is also single & asks her best friend Ty to join her as her husband while using his services as an investigator giving her the edge on the potential buyer. From the very arrival at the resort Melissa notices Ty in line with his mischevious eyes on her. She can't help herself to keep peeking back at him with his rock hard abs & body made of sin!! Shane becomes intrigued by Suzanne and sets on his heels hoping she'll seek him out!!! Let the games begin, literally. Each day there are set up events for the guest to indulge in. This book is a roller coaster of seriously flammable arousal for the reader & the characters involved!!! I don't want to tell you too much, but there are many underlying issues at play that aren't on the menu for the week that just keep you primed & ready to go!! I will say that at the first of the book I had desires for the plot to go one way & close to the end of the book, my heart & desires for this romance completely changed!!!! Read it now, you will not be let down!!!
So I'm struggling with how I really want to rate this.. If I were to go on the hot and steamy factor I would give it freaking 10 stars but as far as the romance part I honestly don't even know that I could give it 2 stars because it just wasn't believable to me. I get they're all swingers and at a swingers resort and OMG let me tell you all of the sexual encounters were unbelievably hot... I mean like change your panties HOT! BUT.... once Melissa and Ty started to realize their true feelings for each other I just couldn't believe it, not that it doesn't happen that way because I'm sure it does but to me personally I couldn't fall that hard for someone and encourage them to be with other people regardless if I was in the room or not... Anyway, I dealt with it, I still wanted to know what happened next and of course I still wanted some more steam because Opal Carew can write some fan-freaking-tastic steamy sex scenes. BUT, at the end, you know where the "HEA" happens... well here is where I really struggled because this was a time where they should be celebrating a special moment between just the two of them and what do you know another couple happens to be there and they end up having this wild partner swapping thing going on.... don't get me wrong it was hot, but like I said I just couldn't buy the actual "Love/HEA" factor... I like my HEA's to have me believe that the couples love for each other is so strong that you know they will last and unfortunately for me this one did not make me believe that.. they were just too eager to jump into bed with other people.
So my opinion is.... if your looking for JUST steam... Totally go for this one, I've got some scenes highlighted that I will definitely be referring back to just for fun. BUT if you're looking for that HEA that leaves you confident that the H/H will have a lasting and loving relationship I don't know that I'd go for this one. Then again, I'm in my all about the love in a book, so I probably just wasn't in the right mind frame to read this book.
This was the first book I've read by Opal Carew. I had heard great things about this book and I can tell you it did not disappoint. I loved it! This is one blazing erotic romance. It's imaginative and great characters you will love.
Shane and Melissa are best friends. They are now both unattached. Melissa's hoped that one day they would be lovers. Shane asks Melissa to go with him to a swingers' resort called Sweet Surrender and pose as his wife so he can evaluate whether or not it's a good investment. She wasn't thrilled with going to a swingers' resort but caved and went.
Was she in for the thrill of a life time.
I won't go into any more detail or comment on the other characters other than to say that as much as I liked Shane, Ty is the one that melted my heart.
I highly recommend this book. It will keep you entertained and may ignite some fires.
From the publisher:
It all started with an innocent request…Melissa’s friend Shane asked her to accompany him on a business trip to an exclusive resort. But The Sweet Surrender is no ordinary vacation spot--it’s for men and women who swing. As Melissa mingles with the other guests and discovers the resort’s fantasy rooms, she’s tempted to explore her naughty side and live out her most sinful fantasies—but she isn't prepared for the storm of desire that awaits. She soon finds herself torn between two men, one of her oldest friends and a handsome stranger who belongs to another. Both men bring her the most exquisite pleasure, but which man will win her heart?
I like Opal Carew's style of writing. This story captures ones interest right from the begining. When I read the book description on this site, I didn't catch that both main character couples were not actually married to eachother, but they we not. The reasoning she uses to go along with Shane, is that she will do some 'research' for her sister. But really, its her own gains in this. She opens up, and steps out of her shell, and discovers many different fantasies, come true at the Sweet Surrender. Suzanne & Ty, are such a sexy pair, Melissa doesn't stand a chance of resisting.
This story had a lot of HOT sex scenes, as well as twists and turns you don't expect. Still the story moves smoothly thru Shane & Melissa's vacation at the resort. When I picked it up, I didn't put it down until I was more then half way thrugh it. All the people in the story are likable, and easy to identify with. Some really great, romantic scenes as well.
At the end of this book, there was a preview for another book by Carew, and it sounded just as good, so I am really thinking of picking up the next book by her. So far, its good stuff. Looking forward to more.
Generally I enjoyed the book. I thought the premise was sweet (ultimately). But I thought it went on one chapter too long. There was lots of sex, as was expected in a book about a swinger's club. There was a semblance of deceit on the part of both main couples, but neither deceit was mean-spirited. I thought it was maybe too soon for any of them to fall in love, but hey, it's fantasy, right? So generally I enjoyed it. I can't say I loved it or that I even liked it alot. I think it's somewhere between a 3 and a 4, but since we only have whole ratings, it was closer to 3 than 4 for me. I hear Ms. Carew's other stories are good, if not better, so I'll look up more of her stuff.
While I am not in the lifestyle, I found the book very interesting. I must admit that some parts seemed a bit rushed or forced, like the ending for instance, but overall it is well written erotica.
The sex scenes were scorchers (wow!), and I thought that the swingers lifestyle was not portrayed in a negative light (Giselle and Armand -- perfect), so that was a nice perspective.
If you like a lot of sex in your erotica, and hot sex with multiple partners at that, you should pick up a copy of Swing.
Shane talks his best friend, Melissa, into posing as his wife and going to a swingers' resort so he can check it out since he's interested in buying it. Melissa decides to go since she knows her younger sister also has reservations, and she wants to check it out first. As soon as they get there--pow! Hot and sizzling sex scenes, that's for sure! There's plenty of multiple-partner sex, although there's enough of a story for things to make sense. This is kind of a coming-of-age story, although it's more about Melissa finding her inner sex goddess and losing her inhibitions. Plus she and Shane actually build their friendship, even though both of them find romance as well. There's even a bit of a mystery about who is taking unauthorized videos of some of the characters and for what reason. A quick and pleasant read.
I love erotic ménage but Swing by Opal Carew takes it much further with twosomes, foursomes, oral, vaginal and ass sex, voyeurism, a bit of bsdm and lots of group sex. Throw in a bit of a mystery, without violence or much action, that is quickly and easily resolved in the end and you have a really hot, scorching, sizzling story.
The plot is pretty straightforward Melissa has the hots for her best friend, Shane for years and when he invites her to join him for a week of “swinging sex, she’s at first shocked but decides to find out more about The Sweet Surrender, a swingers resort that he wants to check out before buying it, so that she can persuade her sister not to go there to sort out her marriage. They go there as husband and wife so they can “suss it out without the seller knowing about it.
Suzanne is the owner of the resort and is having money problems and discovers that the secret buyer may be sending a spy there, asks her best friend, Ty, who have loads of sex but are not in love with each other, to accompany her as a married couple.
But things never go quite the way we want, right???? Shane and Melissa get it together but something is missing here…she’s attracted to Ty but he’s a married man but wait, that shouldn’t matter in this place…where you do it with anyone, anytime, any numbers…nothing is taboo..oh yes there might be!!! Why is it acceptable for f/f or m/f/m action but not m/m or m/m/f? I always wonder how two men can be with one woman or two and never touch or feel each other during sex!!!!!
Anyway, Melissa is quickly drawn into the swingers world.she did protest a little too much I thought, as it did not take her too long to get into a ménage with a couple. From then onwards, nothing could stop her search to discover this new way of life that she was beginning to more than like.
Ty the poor guy is getting off with five, six or more women and all he can think of is Melissa…but she’s a married woman!!!!!! So much misunderstanding there.
And then Suzanne and Shane get it together in all ways possible…group action, little bsdm…and though he discovers the truth about her and has a total blow-up, he realizes he loves her.
So, these two fabulous couples have their HEA…and more…but you will have to read the book to find out what..I am not going to spoilt it for you.
This is what inhibited sex is all about I guess.multiple partners, game playing and walking around a place, naked and no one thinks anything about it except wanting to get down with you and who else wants as well.
Anyone who wants to read pages and pages of sensual sex scenes that make you want to be there in the resort with these characters…this is it. Wow, it had me feeling hot a lot of times as I turned the pages.
Book Description: It all started with an innocent request...Melissa's friend Shane asked her to accompany him on a business trip to an exclusive resort. Holy Boinkfest, Batman! This novel has an epic amount of sex in it. Epic. A pair of friends head to a swingers resort, because what else would friends do together?
Melissa is a sexually repressed woman who is waiting for a man to sweep her off her feet. She follows her best buddy (who of course is hot and rich) to help him investigate the resort for a financial investment.
At the same time two more besties are infiltrating the club. Club owner Samantha, and PI Ty, are headed over to make sure the club comes off as a wonderful investment for the buyer they suspect is coming over to check the place out incognito.
And then they all have sex. Then they have sex with other people. Then they watch each other have sex. Then they use props and role-play and have sex. Then they have sex some more. Then just to mix things up...they have sex.
I'm making fun, but heaven help me there was a TON of sex. Oral, Vaginal, Anal, DP, etc. They have SEX! And it was hot sex. Steamy sex. But this is definitely one of those novels that builds plot around sex. This is Erotica.
We do have a romance develop among the swinger style here, and in the end there is a HEA...complete with a "happy ending". Ha Ha!
If you are looking for a button-pushing boink-fest, this book was 5 stars. If you are looking for a romance, I'd only rate it a three, because some of it just wasn't conducive to my idea of romance. But pushing personal emotion aside, I'd give this book a solid 4 stars with definite re-read potential for those "special moments" when a woman wants to be alone with her erotica. *wink wink*
This was a super smutty read - pretty much just a bunch of sex scenes with various characters (and complete stranger non-characters) thrown together in a wide variety of scenarios. There was sort of a plot holding it together, and it almost could have been interesting, but ultimately it ended up being too unbelievable to be taken seriously on any level. The worst part was when Ty proposed to Melissa after dating her for exactly 0 days and apparently without having had one meaningful conversation with her. Really? I think it would have been perfectly appropriate for them to just start going out at that point, but somehow they are looking at bridal magazines now? The sex was hot if you didn't think to hard about the practical issues. I get that sometimes you just kind of have to treat this stuff as pure fantasy and not think too hard about the details, but there were a few moments where I really would have appreciated the appearance of a condom or a washcloth or something. Overall, I think this book is entertaining if you embrace it for what it is (porn) and don't expect too much more.

Porno! Pero del bueno!!! Jajajajaj!! Cómo me gustó!!!
My first book by Opal Carew. Swinging doesn’t really interest me, but I was curious enough about the characters to continue. There is very little bit of story in the beginning and scraps of plot and character development in between a lot of hot sex. A lot. Most of it steamy, some of it quite repetitive. Everyone wailing, lots of hard muscular chests, you get the idea. While towards the end I wanted to take a shot every time someone “wailed and there was some cheesy dialog that made my eyes roll, it’s still a cute story. A nice, fun, dirty read.
I definitely smelled the ending coming a mile away. And while I sort of found the HEA ending for Melissa credible. I can’t say the same for Shane, because his journey was sort of glossed over and arrived at awfully quick.
The most shocking thing about this book? I checked it out of my local library.
