SQUEE!!!! I'm in LOVE with this trilogy!!
This is the first book of a complete trilogy (how exciting is that -- all the books are out!!!) andI read it in one non-stop sitting. My heart was RACING fromthe first chapter and I literally could not stop smiling!! It's an erotic contemporary romance (with BDSM). The hero wasa SWOONY world famous movie star who was also a sexual Dominant� and he fellin love with a young teacher he raninto at a park one day, who had sworn off sex after a scarringexperience in her past. So, these two were total opposites but their CHEMISTRY was off-the-charts and this storywas aboutthem trying to make a relationship work. The dialogue wasGOLD and I honestly loved EVERYTHING about this book.Total BOOK HEAVEN!!!

Ok I need to explain why exactly I loved this so much. The main reason (apart from the fantastic writing) was honestly the structure of the story. To be really blunt, there was absolutely no stupidity from either character ever and all the drama came from sources external to the relationship. That's such an important thing for me! Don't get me wrong, they had issues to overcome, but I felt like I could understand where they both were coming from every step of the way. Their concerns all felt valid and I respected the way they dealt with their problems. There is absolutely angst and drama but it came from things likerelentless paparazzi and not from miscommunication. Gah.THIS is the kind of story I most love reading!
Apart from that, I also felt like Ibelieved them falling in love with each other. Yes, you could argue that their feelings grew quickly, but I personally really do believe that when you meet the right person you justknow. So why not act on it? Even though they had instant chemistry,I actually loved the way Flynn never ever ever rushed Natalieinto anything she wasn't ready for. Even before he knew her secrets, and the real reason she didn't want sex, he still respected her and was willing to wait untilshe was ready for it.
“He laughs and takes hold of my free hand. I love the easy, casual way he does that, as if we’ve been holding hands forever. It feels natural to me, like my hand belongs wrapped in his.�
Speaking of Natalie. A few things I immediately loved about her: she had strong boundariesand wasn't going to budge just because a man made her swoon, she wassmart (like telling her friend exactly where she was going on her first date with Flynn and not just automatically trusting him because he was hot and famous), and even though she'd been through a lot in her life she was such a strong character. I loved her!
You know when you literally can't stop smiling as you read because of howawesome the story is?? That's exactly what happened here.
Oh, andFlynn made meswooooooon!!! He was immediately captivated by her and wanted to get to know her better. He worked so hard to gain her trust and put her at ease in his world. He wasgentle, kind and considerate... charming and totally heart melting. This guy rode a motorcycle like a bad boy but cleanedup sharp in a tux on the red carpet. He was this gorgeous, world famous movie star to the outside world, but in private he was just this down-to-earth, all-round good guy .... and also a dirty talking Dominant who was stepping completely outside of his world and lifestyle to be with this woman who he was falling completely in love with. You just got the feeling off him that he'd go to the ends of the earth to protect her. Pure swoon and hotness!! He was impossible not to fall in love with!! YOU HAVE TO MEET HIM!!!

The dialogue was smart and witty!I loved the way both Flynn and Nataliehandled theirgrowing relationship. I feel like they asked all the right questions, had all the reasonable fears and doubts, but also took understandable risks to follow their hearts. It felt very realistic despite it's almost fairy-tale nature.
I was so relieved by howopen and honest Flynn and Natalie were with each other. They each had secrets in their pasts that they weren't yet ready to share but they just came right out and openly admittedthat too!! What a welcome relief! No secrecy or lies, just two people falling in love and trying to make it work.
OMG and there was some hilarious stuff in there too!! Natalie has this old dog named Fluff who hated Flynn's guts. That's actually how they met... she was walking Fluff and fell, then Fluff bit Flynn but I'll just let you read that for yourself cuz it was so fun!! But LOL, the scenes with this little hateful (but adorable) dog VS this charming movie star who was trying to win her over were justtoo funny!!!
He leans in so he’s nose to nose with Fluff. “Get used to me. I’m not going away.�
She replies by showing the ten teeth she has left and growling again.
This is an erotic romance butI loved that the story didnot revolve around the sex. The heart of the story was them andthe sex complimented the story, but it was not the center of it. Every scene drove the story forward and was (in some way) character building.. THIS is how a strong erotic romance should be!
And holy freakinghotness!!! Much of the story feels vanilla because he's trying to make her comfortable and move at her pacebut we do see glimpses of his world in his dreams andohhhhh myis it HOT!!!!
Despite the fact that being a Dom was such a strong part ofwho he was as a person, Flynnwas endlessly patient with Natalie -- never once pushing her outside of her comfort zone. I loved the way he constantly reassured her that nothing she could tell him about her would change the way he felt about her -- THAT is the foundation of a solid relationship. Yet another thing that impressed me so much in this book.
He gathers me in even closer to him, his arms tight around me, and all I feel is loved and protected�. “We’re going to figure this out together. One day at a time, one step at a time. Whatever you need, whenever you need it. I’m in this so deep, Nat."
Ohhhhhh and it gotintense towards the ending!!!! But can I just say how much I appreciated that the cliffhanger wasn't drama betweenthem but rather something that happenedto them. Again, LOVED that!
I’d definitely recommend thisfor fans of Fifty Shades and Love Unscripted (with maybe a dash of The Original Sinners mixed in). I'm absolutely loving the trilogy and am planning to read all three books back to back.I mean, I feel like this review is just a giant list of things I loved about this book but I honestly don’t have even one single complaint to make. This book just had everything I love it in. It had amazing writing, a gripping story, characters I fell in love with and respected, and a romance that made my heart melt. I read it cover to cover in one sitting and can’t wait to go right on and read the next one immediately.
If you’re looking for sexy , swoony , and utterly addictive series to fall in love with, try this!!

A 23 years old girl from Nebraska, Natalie is currently living in New York working as an elementary teacher. One day she literally runs into Flynn Godfrey, a famous movie star who is intrigued by her and by her attitude, wanting to know everything that is to know about her. Natalie is blunt with Flynn from the start about her values � she will not sleep with him only because he’s famous. However, Natalie admits to herself how attracted she is with Flynn. At first she doesn’t know what she finds more appealing � being with a movies star or being with Flynn, the man, but one thing is for sure, she wants to spend more time with him.
Flynn knows Natalie is different from other women, especiallu from his ex-wife. He doesn’t care she won’t sleep with him. All he wants is to get to know her better. Even if he knows Natalie is too pure for his world and being with him could ruin her, he can’t deny the strong pull he feels towards her. Natalie is reluctant at first getting involved with Flynn due the fact something tragic happened with her when she was 15, but as the story progresses and they get to know each other better, Natalie tells Flynn some things from her past. Wanting to protect her, Flynn doesn’t tell her about being into a certain lifestyle, wanting for her to trust him and to be comfortable with him.
Can he keep his truth hidden from her long enough to have forever with her?
I really liked this first installment in M.S. Force’s new series. I’m familiar with this author’s writing since she also writes under Marie Force name and I can honestly say this one was as great as her other books. The writing was fantastic, flawless and in some way bolder. A character driven story, this first installment in the series has not only two great main characters, but a solid plot and engaging storyline as well.
Both main characters are well developed, likeable form the beginning and even relatable. I loved Natalie from the start. She loves her job, she’s professional and a genuinely good person. She’s smart, cautious when she needs to be and she’s strong even if she’d been through a lot. The hero, Flynn was so wonderful. He’s determined to know Natalie better and he’s willing to do anything to gain her trust. He’s sweet and caring, attentive and protective and I fell so hard for him. He’s a good man, not only with Natalie, but with other people as well. As he gets to know Natalie better he’s ready to give up his lifestyle to be with her and he’s ready to do anything to protect her from her past.
Another aspect of the story that I really liked is how their relationship progressed. Flynn was very patient with Natalie. He doesn’t push her to do anything she’s not ready for. I have to say he was pretty perfect. The insta-chemistry between them didn’t bother me at all because the chemistry is palpable and I really felt it. I have to say I really enjoyed how well they communicated with each other. They are honest with each other from the start about what they want and need from each other. They are sweet and caring with each other and I absolutely loved them together. They are perfect together and they truly made me smile. Natalie is what Flynn was looking for, someone ‘normal� and Flynn represents for Natalie the man who maybe has the power to ‘heal� her.
The story is angsty, but not too angsty. It has the perfect amountof angst to keep the reader captivated. There’s also some drama, but nothing unnecessary, which I appreciate it.
Even is this installment/ series is labeled as erotic romance there are not to many sex scenes. This first book in the series was more about their slow build relationship and about their connection. The side characters are all great and entertaining and I’m eager to know more about them in the next books in the series as much I’m eager to know more about how Flynn and Natalie’s relationship will progress.
The story ends with some sort of cliffhanger, but for me it wasn’t as bad as I expected to be.
Overall, this was a great read with engaging characters, entertaining storyline and fantastic writing.

What a pleasant surprise ths book turned out to be!! I decided to check this out now that the fifth book just came out on Amazon. Me being me, have always had to start a series from the start, and I am so glad that I did. From what I have read so far, I have fallen in love with the story, as well as the characters. My only complaint that I do have it that sometimes it felt like Flynn and Natalie fell in love too quickly! Other than that though, this was a story that was able to take me outside of myself and reel me into a love story that melted my heart.
I highly recommend this series, and I am eager to continue on to the next book!

4 swoony stars
What’s not to love about the dream of a celebrity falling for a ‘normal� girl? Especially when the love story is told with lots of detail, lots of swoon, and some hot and steamy moments with the promise of lots more to come. This book is almost fairy-tale-like in its premise, and yes, parts of it are quite sappy, but there are some darker elements revealed, and it’s a fast-paced and engaging read.
23 year old Natalie is relatively new to New York City. She has moved to the big city from Nebraska on a teaching contract, and is happily soaking up the life that she has dreamed of and worked so hard for. Life takes a swift shift for her one day when she is chasing her dog through the park and literally runs into a man in the park, and that man turns out to be none other than Flynn Godfrey - the hottest movie star on the planet.
Immediately intrigued by the mortified young woman, Flynn asks her out for coffee, and discovers not only do they have an easy rapport, but she is sweet and genuine, which when combined with his immediate attraction to her, means that he wants to get to know her. Natalie is just as drawn to Flynn but, stunned and disbelieving that the gorgeous actor is interested in her, but immediately goes on the defensive, telling him that she won’t sleep with him.
Natalie has survived a trauma that has left her changed, and it’s a secret that she guards fiercely. It has also left her completely distrustful of men, and she has sworn off sex until she finds the man she wants to marry. Given what she knows about Flynn from the tabloids, and his well-publicised love of women, she is wary, but he is an absolute gentleman and despite her fears, she can’t pass up the opportunity to spend time with the first man to ever make her heart race, so she agrees.
And so begins an epic courtship which leads into a whirlwind romance. Things between Natalie and Flynn are intense from the very beginning, and this is a very fast-developing relationship (not quite insta-love, but the whole book takes place in about a week and a half), but hey, it’s fiction. Every now and again you just need a great fluff read. This is it.
Natalie is a great heroine. Yes, she has some issues, but she is strong and confident in who she is, and she is brave enough to follow her heart and embrace all that Flynn means to her. And Flynn is just incredible! He may be a hot, Hollywood commodity, but he takes his celebrity in his stride and does his best to have a normal life, and he wants Natalie to be a part of that. He is open with her about the way he feels, and where he wants things to go between them, and he is gentle, patient and unendingly understanding with Natalie, willing to wait for her to be completely ready to move things forward between them. He’s hot, he’s sexy, and he’s infinitely swoony�
But Flynn has a secret too � he’s a sexual dominant. Heavily into BDSM, he even owns a kink club with his closest friends. But with all that Natalie has been through, how can she ever understand his needs, let alone become a part of that with him?
This is a really quick read, and I really enjoyed it. The story moves quickly, with not much happening besides the swoony romance, and there are a lot of sweet moments between the couple as they get to know each other and we watch them fall in love. The most notable thing about these two are that they are so freaking functional! There is no stupid, no frustration, and no angst, just two people who want each other, communicate well, and hold nothing back. And they make it work. And I have to respect the author for writing a story without throwing in unnecessary conflict. This is the coming together of two people, both dealing with issues (hers from the past, his from the present), and it’s beautifully done.
The book ends on a bit of a cliffy, but nothing that will leave you worrying about them as a couple. And with the two of them strong together, but having some major issues to face, I’m really looking forward to seeing where the story goes from here.

The most notable thing about these two are that they are so freaking functional! There is no stupid, no frustration, and no angst, just two people who want each other, communicate well, and hold nothing back. And they make it work. And I have to respect the author for writing a story without throwing in unnecessary conflict. This is the coming together of two people, both dealing with issues (hers from the past, his from the present), and it’s beautifully done.
“We’re going to figure this out together. One day at a time, one step at a time. Whatever you need, whenever you need it. I’m in this so deep, Nat� Please don’t leave me. Don’t walk away. Give me a chance. Give yourself a chance. If anyone deserves to be happy and loved, it’s you.�
The book ends on a bit of a cliffy, but nothing that will leave you worrying about them as a couple. And with the two of them strong together, but having some major issues to face, I’m really looking forward to seeing where the story goes from here.

I tried and tried and tried to like this, but I just could not get into it. I love the premise - move star falls for a teacher.
The heroine was too star struck with the hero for my liking. She probably did not want to appear that way, but that is the way she came across to me. The hero even though he tried not to appear that he was "great", he came across that way.
It may work for you. This is just my opinion.
I love dogs in stories, but Fluff annoyed me. The heroine wanted to bring the dog to her school and then admits that Fluff started biting?!?!? Great, so she can bite a 8 year old child??? Also, I do not understand what exactly the hero found so cute and interesting about the heroine. I usually love the blubbering heroine, but this felt uncomfortable. Some parts of the story just did not flow.

After reading a few books by this author and one complete series and I found out she had a series with BDSM - with the FSoG theme, I was SOLD! So I dived right in.
Flynn Godfrey was a 33 year old famous actor. He and a few of his closest friends had a very successful production company, Quantum Productions and were wrapping up a film in New York. When out of the blue, a fiery fur ball flew at him and then his life would change forever.
Flynn never thought he would have a chance at love again after the disaster that was his last marriage years ago. He was married to an actress many years ago. He was also discovering himself and his sexuality. After realizing that his tastes followed in line with the BDSM lifestyle, he chose to try to introduce this into his marriage. This had a very disastrous outcome. Not only did his wife turn away from him in disgust, she also proceeding to humiliate him publicly by having an affair with his agent AND setting it up so he would walk in on that. HIs response to this was to then sleep with her best friend. Afterwards he felt horrible. He couldn't believe what he had let himself become after his wife betrayed him, so he swore off marriage and has since spent most of his weekends "playing" with members at his secret BDSM club that he co-owns with some of his select friends that share in that lifestyle. So you can imagine what meeting Natalie does to him. He knows right away that she is sweet and innocent and she flat out tells him that she won't have sex with him when he asks her for a date. She tells him that she is saving herself for marriage so she didn't see their relationship going anywhere, since he very publicly swore to never marry again.
Flynn is just drawn to her and even though he knows he isn't good enough for her, he selfishly can't let her go. The more time he spends with her, the stronger his feelings fall until he is utterly in love with her.
Natalie has her own secrets. There is a reason she has these believes of sex after marriage. It isn't because she is a prude, she simply doesn't want to have casual sex or sex without meaning due to the traumatic way she lost her virginity. I love the way Flynn reacts when she tells him her past AND I love the way he reacts at the end when all of her secrets are revealed. He is a wonderful man and hero.
I love the flow of the story and how Flynn is just head over heels for Natalie. I can tell my safety gang without a doubt that the hero NEVER thinks about sleeping with another woman or does at all in this book. He is smitten from the beginning. The only thing that could be a problem for some, is the BDSM lifestyle and the hero's history with women.

They both have their secrets, and both aren't willing to share them with each other and of course it's a matter of time till the are released.
I'm a little bit disappointed because you have only to read the blurb to know what is going to happen. This first book was just a introduction to the characters... And this hero got on my nerves, or better the story in general got a little bit on my nerves, because it was all too perfect.
Based on their background information I still think this should be a good story, so I'll give book 2 a try and I expect a little more action and flaws.

“Virtuous� is the first book in the Quantum Trilogy. The series came highly recommended so this is the first time I’ve gone into a book completely blind. I didn’t read a single review or even the book blurb beforehand. Having since read the book description, it perfectly summarizes the entire plot. Surprisingly, there aren’t many other major events that occur.
Let me just state that there is no aspect of this book that is realistic. If you stand any hope at all of enjoying “Virtuous� you need a suspension of disbelief, which is just a fancy term for a willingness to overlook the ridiculous.
Yes, this is another book that has fallen victim to the dreaded Insta-Love. Less than one week after they meet, Flynn and Natalie are professing their profound love for each other, while thoughts of endless nights together, wedding bells, and babes in arms fill their minds.
I pushed past my annoyance because I’m a huge sucker for a Cinderella story.
Give me an ordinary girl who’s swept off her feet by a Hollywood superstar and I’ll read just about anything. Would it happen in a million years? Never, but so what? I don’t care that I’m in my 40s. I’m still going to read these types of stories and indulge in the fantasy I’ve had since I was a little girl.
Luckily, there’s more to this story that held my interest.
Flynn is a really likeable hero. He craves the BDSM lifestyle that’s so much a part of him but he’s also very much a loving family man. Only time will tell if he can deny his darker sexual urges in order to have a committed “vanilla� relationship with Natalie. I particularly enjoyed Flynn’s interactions with his family and friends. Getting a behind-the-scenes peek into the lives of the Hollywood elite was also fun. I liked the chemistry between Flynn and Natalie. I don’t have a full sense of Natalie’s character yet but from the glimpses I’ve seen I can tell that she’s resilient and sweet. I’m interested in learning more about her past.
Really, there isn’t anything particularly bad about this book; I just didn’t love it. The writing is decent, although quite redundant: My sweet and innocent Natalie. I love her so much. I can’t lose her. She can never know my true desires. I read it with a sense of detachment rather than feeling like I was experiencing the emotions with the characters.
Although it’s billed as erotica there are relatively few sex scenes. There is the tiniest of cliffhangers at the end but more the feeling that the story is incomplete. I’m definitely intrigued enough to continue reading the series.

Cuando empecé a leer este libro no pensé que lo iba a disfrutar tanto. Comienza un poco lento, pero casi de inmediato la historia agarra ritmo.
Flynn es un sueño, una persona relajada que disfruta de la vida. Seguro de sí mismo y de sus necesidades. Natalie es un chica tímida que intenta encontrar su lugar en el mundo tras una tragedia que la marcó en su adolescencia.
Lo único malo de este libro es que te deja guindando al final, y definitivamente quieres saber como continúa esta historia de amor.

Virtuous was an okay kind of book. In it, you will meet Natalie. Now she's a girl who has avoided men and sex for about 8 long years due to traumatic event. 8 looooong ass years. However, after running into Flynn Godfrey.. it seems like that dry spell might be over. Keyword: might.
Now their relationship was a bit interesting. She wanted to wait till marriage to have sex again.. and Flynn seemed to be okay with it but had desires elsewhere. I also just wanted to know more about Natalie's secrets too. I loved their sexual tension but hated the whole tug of war with their desires and shit. I wanted more and this book was definitely lacking in the department.
Besides that, Flynn was obviously swoon-worthy. I liked how strong Natalie's character was. HOWEVER, Fluff was forever my favorite character. Hands down.

El libro cuenta la historia de amor entre Natalie, una profesora de primaria, y Flynn, un actor de cine encumbrado hijo a su vez de dos grandes estrellas de Hollywood. El destino quiere que por medio de la perrita de Natalie, Fluff, sus vidas “colisionen�, literalmente Natalie se da de bruces con Flynn que está en pleno rodaje en un parque cuando persigue a su perra fugada por Nueva York.
Natalie tiene una norma que lleva marcando su vida desde hace ocho años “no confiar nunca más en un hombre y no tener sexo con ninguno hasta el matrimonio�
Natalie es una mujer que huye de su pasado, el cual le ha hecho cambiar de identidad y abandonar tanto a su familia como todo lo demás que tenía en su ciudad natal y actualmente ejerce como profesora en una escuela de primaria en Nueva York, luchando cada día para dejar más atrás su terrible pasado. Flynn ha resultado ser una muy grata sorpresa como protagonista, es dulce, familiar, cariñoso, comprensivo,...vaya un dechado de virtudes, algo a lo que, en mi propia experiencia con este subgénero, estoy muy desacostumbrada y que me ha agradado. Force nos lo presenta como un hombre humilde y que aun estando envuelto en todo ese torbellino que es la fama intenta llevar una vida lo más normal posible.
La química entre ambos es buena, son dos personajes que se complementan muy bien desde su primer encuentro. Las escenas de sexo son contadas y todas están entrelazadas con la trama de una forma que podría llamar “elegante�, son excitantes y sugerentes, no hay sexo injustificado y gratuito como puedes encontrar en otras novelas eróticas que acaban haciéndose tremendamente surrealistas y en ocasiones hasta absurdas e inverosímiles. Por ejemplo me ha gustado el recurso que usa en varias ocasiones Force de introducir estas escenas en la novela por medio de los sueños, literalmente mientras duerme, de Flynn, con los que nos enseña “lo que podremos ver� en las próximas entregas de esta trilogía.
Esta es una novela con miga, que va más allá de la típica novela erótica, puede deberse quizás a que esta es la primera novela de este género de la autora y que hasta ahora haya escrito novela romántica, por que la historia de amor tiene un peso muy grande durante todo el libro. También tengo que destacar los golpes de humor, los diálogos chispeantes entre Natalie y Flynn hacen muy entretenida la lectura y pasas los capítulos sin darte cuenta siquiera.
El BDSM, es el gran secreto de Flynn. Junto con su grupo de amigos pertenece al club Quantum, un club exclusivo donde pueden dar “rienda suelta� a sus gustos. Este, junto con el pasado de Natalie son los primeros muros que se alzan entre los dos protagonistas, y durante la novela ambos tendrán que tomar sus propias decisiones para poder superarlos y conseguir estar juntos. Por un lado Natalie debe tomar la decisión de abrirse al fin a alguien y confiar en Flynn para poder superar aquel pasado. Por otro Flynn debe plantearse que puede ser más importante en su futuro, el amor de Natalie y mantenerla a su lado o sus preferencias sexuales que resultan totalmente incompatibles con su nueva relación.
A estos dilemas hay que agregar las dificultades derivadas de la fama de Flynn, osea la prensa y su insaciable sed de noticias ¿Que pasará cuando la relación de ambos salga a la luz? ¿Cuando Flynn se presente en los Globos de Oro del brazo de Natalie?¿Y si se descubre el gran secreto de Natalie?
La novela tiene un final que te hace decir ¿¡Ya está!? ¿¡Y mi capítulo 24!? First of all - I want, need, and deserve a Flynn! Famous movie star, panty-wetting gorgeous, and a gentleman to boot...what more could Cinderella ask for? Seriously, what an addictive read. Sweet, new school teacher Natalie meets movie star Flynn Godfrey one night when she bowls him over in the middle of a movie shoot while chasing her dog Fluff who's escaped her leash. Instant attraction & chemistry. Yes, we're talking insta-lust & love here...but heaven help me, it works! But all is not as it seems. Natalie is hiding a past she buried eight years ago, and Flynn is hiding a dark secret of his own. Either could destroy their budding relationship. The only downer about this one is the big cliff-hanger ending! Yes, I went immediately into book 2! This one is a Must Read!

I dont really feel like writing a review on this book, but I just cant come to the end of a book without giving credits to the author.
Virtuous wasnt a bad book, although I didnt feel ANYTHING towards it. I was on the verge to stop reading it at 40% but I'd hate to leave another book unfinished.
This story somehow says it has BDSM although it was shown in only a little situations, like sneak peeks to get you riled up for the other books. It for sure reminded me of FSOG, although I will honestly say I enjoyed the overall love story of fifty way more than this, it was as Natalie said in the book ~ its just like a Cinderella fairytale story where suddenly everything is unbelievable and surprising.~

Its not just because he's famous, but he's kind, smart, patient with her even at the toughest most arousing moments. She wants to take things slow, but the feelings he sets in her makes her go wild.

But Nat hasnt told Flynn her entire secret, she only showed him glimpses of her past, she still hold the biggest secret and she cant come to say it. Only going with him to the Golden Globes, set the paparazzi to search into this Nat person that has swept Flynn of his feet finding out that
Although this book ended with a cliffhanger with Flynn flying to Nat's rescue asking her who would release such information. I dont think I will read the other books, it just wasnt that catchy and as I said its like the scenes are just repeated from other book I've read but way less BDSM.
So this leads me to rating it with 3 'Hollywood' Stars and that will be for the change in Nat's personality and only with the help of Flynn. He showed her that "your past doesnt define who you are", thats "its okay to be a little scared in times, taking things slowly is better", and that" she is perfect just the way she is with all her flaws and strengths"
Virtuous wasnt a bad book, although I didnt feel ANYTHING towards it. I was on the verge to stop reading it at 40% but I'd hate to leave another book unfinished.

First book I read from Marie and I fell in love with Flynn and Natalie ‘April�.
When Natalie takes her dog Fluff for a walk in New York the last the she expects is to crash head first into Flynn Godfrey one of the hottest movie stars in the world.
But that’s exactly what happens when she wanders onto a closed set filming in the park. If that wasn’t enough having her elderly dog latch on and bite Flynn is mortifying. Though the later takes it in his stride Flynn is smitten the moment his eyes land on her.
Chasing her down he convinces her to have coffee.
Natalie can’t help but wonder what Flynn sees in her. She’s just a normal girl, a school teacher with a dark secret and one who’s trying to start over in New York.
But he’s undeterred even though he has a part of his life that’s kept hidden from the world. A Dominant and one who’s part owner of an exclusive BDSM Club that comes with a membership price that guarantees anonymity.

Overall: I liked it. I loved the supporting characters and the setting and the main characters were pretty ok.
What annoyed me: they are too fucking sweet! I seriously can't believe how sweet and sugary and nice they were.
Dude you're supposed to be a dominant, take control in the bedroom at least, especially since you have more experience, make her feel safe there as well. Also, hiding your kink from her... baaaad idea! She's stronger then she looks.
Natalie I like you, you're smart, warm, good overall. I know you went through a lot, but I expected that to make you more confident and aware of how great you are! Stop second guessing yourself and him and stop putting yourself down!
All in all I can't wait to continue the series and hope there'll be less stuff to annoy me in it.

Lo he leído en semana santa, y me duró un suspiro.
Ambos personajes me han parecido adorables, tiernos. Los típicos guapetones que se conocen y se enamoran a primera vista. Solo que en este caso, si se permiten desarrollar un poco más su relación para poder profundizar más en la relación.
Aunque pone que hay BDSM, pocas escenas hay pero si he de decir que todas las escenas de sexo están muy bien narradas, con gusto, para nada obscenas o soeces.

Die Idee ist nicht schlecht, die Umsetzung hat mich aber nicht umgehauen.
Flynn und Natalie sind beide authentisch. Der Schauspieler, der ganz anders ist, als man denkt und die Lehrerin, die mit ihrer Vergangenheit zu kämpfen hat, geben ein tolles Paar ab.
Die Geschichte wirkt aber doch ziemlich kitschig, was, unter Anderem, an der ständigen Beteuerung liegt, wie toll er sie findet. Insgesamt ist er zu schnell zu sicher und ich war irgendwann genervt von ihm.
Das wäre vielleicht auch anders wenn die Sprache nicht oft, so geschwollen rüberkommen würde.
Das Ende war dann, wie erwartet, gut. Vorhersehbar zwar, aber gut umgesetzt und nach dem Cliffhanger will ich auf jeden Fall weiterlesen.

Normally, I hate serial novels, but this one just blew me away! Flynn was an awesome hero, and I was quite drawn to Natalie as well. I loved her caring and her strength and determination. She was so much more than her circumstances made her out to be! Whirlwind courtships usually aren't my thing, but it worked in this story! I had a hard time putting it down, and had to immediately move on to the next story!

Prvá myšlienka bezprostredne po dočítaní: dosť som sa nudila
Cnosť je prvou knihou z trilógie Quantum z pera autorky M. S. Forceovej Anotácia ma celkom zaujala, tak som sa na tento príbeh vrhla. Neočakávala som nijaký dych berúci dej ani nič podobné, ale aj to, čo som dostala, ma sklamalo. Klišé je prepletené s ďalšími klišé a toto sa tiahlo každou stránkou.
Stretávame Natalie. Obyčajnú mladú ženu so zásadou - žiaden sex pred svadbou. Na tom by nebolo nič zlé, keby jej dôvod nebol taký nelogický. To, prečo sex odmieta, je niečo úplne iné, čo, podľa mňa, neprekoná ani svadba. Ale autorka to takto vymyslela a ja sa s tým musím zmieriť. Jej prvé stretnutie s Flynnom bolo zvláštne, vtipno-trápne. Väčšinu knihy som len túžobne očakávala, kedy sa dostanem k poslednej strane. Občas sa objavili aj príjemné scény, ale v nich spolu hlavní hrdinovia neboli.
Flynn, pre lásku božiu a všetko sväté, čo si, doriti, myslíš?
Láska medzi Flynnom a Natalie mi príde prvoplánová, neuveriteľná a jednoducho neexistujúca. Ani jednému som ich city neverila. Ledva sa poznali, už ju Flynn pozýval k sebe domov. Sníval o nej ako o žene svojho srdca. Všetko mi prišlo uponáhľané - ich vzťah sa nevyvíjal, iba sa tam objavil.
Svetlým bodom boli vedľajšie postavy, ktoré dej zachraňovali. Vnášali do príbehu iskru, ktorá mu chýbala, ak na scéne boli hlavné postavy. Pre mňa je kniha uponáhľaná, nudná, nezáživná. Sú knihy, v ktorých sa v podstate nič nedeje, ale autor alebo autorka príbeh napíšu tak skvelo, že si ho čitateľ užije a nenudí sa. To nebol tento prípad.
Bol som s mnohými ženami. Možno až s primnohými. Bozkával som ich a preťahoval ich a robil s nimi veci, ktoré by si považovala prinajlepšom za nechutné, prinajhoršom za odporné. Ale nikdy, naozaj nikdy som nestretol ženu, ktorá by na mňa reagoval atak ako ty. A ja som ešte na nijakú nereagoval tak ako na teba. Ak mi povieš, že nasledujúci rok ťa môžem iba bozkávať a nič viac, beriem to. Beriem to radšej než to, že mi oznámiš koniec a naposledy vyjdeš z tých dvier.
Záver sa mi páčil, pretože sa tam konečne niečo začalo diať, no skôr, ako som sa z toho mohla tešiť, bol koniec. Celý dej ubiehal tak mimo mňa. Čakala som, kedy sa Flynnovo tajomstvo prevalí, avšak nestalo sa tak. Dúfala som, že autorka vzťah medzi nimi zamotá, vloží tam nejakú drámu, no ona nie. Bolo to príliš perfektné, aj napriek tomu, čo sa Natalie stalo. Možno som bola príliš zaslepená očakávaniami, a práve preto som si knihu neužila tak, ako by som mala.

I was leery of this bk from the get go. I LOVE this author and to know she’d decided to trip down the BDSM path...Uh-uh, no thanks, UGH, no way, not for me. But my insatiable curiosity got the better of me as release day got closer, so I cautiously 1-clicked hoping I wasn’t setting myself up for total disappointment.
The story starts out slow and the school teacher, h/Natalie, is such a goodie-goodie I was having fears of “the uber rich, powerful, bdsm Hero with the young, shy, innocent, conservative h� creeping too close towards Fifty-like territory. Natalie has a “big secret� not initially revealed, and she’s saving herself for marriage. Rich movie star Flynn has a proclivity for the kink, but he’s too smitten by the h to be put off and hangs in there. So now he’s keeping his lifestyle “a secret� so as not to scare off Natalie, but he’s battling that one internally. Seriously this stuff could be a lame eye roll, but MF writes it in such a way that I’m starting to buy it (although the needle on my bullshit meter is close to the danger zone). I was close to the “skim� portion of my patience with Natalie when she finally decides she’ll “thaw� out a bit and ultimately has sex with Flynn. The vanilla variety because Flynn has yet to fess up what he really wants. Just as I was settling in for the enjoyment portion of the story, Flynn’s movie star fame and the innocent unknown girl are thrown into the lime light and the press gets hold of it. The cliffy ending: Natalie’s big secret gets revealed nationwide, Flynn’s frantic its his fame’s fault and fears she’ll dump him. Flynn’s rushing to get to Natalie as all this dominoes…AND�..we’re left hanging for a week until portion #2 shows up on Tuesday (4/21/15).
What I liked: Flynn. He’s another one of this authors typical Mr. Wonderful heroes. The guy’s truly perfect in every way. Also like the drama as it finally starts to kick up near the end.
What I didn’t like: Natalie. She’s prudishly, ultra conservative with an annoying little dog. I wanted to smack her to snap out of it. Thankfully she starts to melt under Flynn’s smooth moves and decides to go for it. I could warm up to Natalie unless she decides to dump Flynn then she’s back on my shit list. Hopefully the author gives up more info and I can warm up to Natalie in bk 2. Yea, yea, I’m sure there’s a reason she's been paired with Mr. Spank Me-Tie Me Up-Hurt Me For Sex, and all will be revealed.

This was very passive and docile at the least. The most my heart rate spiked was during a dream. For a supposed part owner of a 's-club' Flynn did not come off as his true self. It was all too nicey nice. Some parts I felt like it was toddlers falling instead of adults.

She was so vocal that she wouldn't sleep with him but then she takes a shower with him. Sure he has swim trunks on, but what about her? hmmmm??? Like a switch she was turned on, certainly OK, but to go from never having an O to having the BIG O---- IN.A.WEEK!!!!!!! Seems to me they would have more primer laid down to be realistic.
There were a few parts I actually did like. There were a few scenes when I wished more emotion from Natalie was shown but Flynn said the right things without being that creeper type of perfect guy. But my favorite part was when Flynn became a little grumpy he actually made me chuckle. It made me wish he was more like that through out the story.
"Five o'clock in the f'ing morning? Seriously, Nat?"
"I have to ease my way into the day. It's my routine."
"Your routine is f'd up."
"And your cranky in the morning."
"This isn't the morning! It's the middle of the f'ing night."
"Um, Nat, there's a movie star in our apartment"
"Nah, that's just Flynn, and he's grumpy in the morning."
"It's not morning. It's the middle of the f'ing night."
Timing was a BIG issue for me. I wished they had more ground work together before the sparks started shooting off. Just because they say 'I know it's seems fast' or 'It's only been a WEEK' that doesn't make it any better. Natalie was so reserved with Flynn in their first week that I don't feel that they should be 'I love you' yet. I also didn't believe that when they finally had ___ that it was the right time for them. I think it was super rushed and had no feeling behind it. But for some crazy reason I'm moving to the next book because Natalie's back story and her finding the big truth about Flynn has me hooked.
I am a fairly new M. Force fan and in her previous series I have pretty much always fallen for both MC AND the way THEY fell but with Natalie and Flynn, very different ball game for me. At least I get my three strikes right... on to #2.

Just because they say 'I know it's seems fast' or 'It's only been a WEEK' that doesn't make it any better. Natalie was so reserved with Flynn in their first week that I don't feel that they should be 'I love you' yet. I also didn't believe that when they finally had ___ that it was the right time for them. I think it was super rushed and had no feeling behind it. But for some crazy reason I'm moving to the next book because Natalie's back story and her finding the big truth about Flynn has me hooked.
I am a fairly new M. Force fan and in her previous series I have pretty much always fallen for both MC AND the way THEY fell but with Natalie and Flynn, very different ball game for me. At least I get my three strikes right... on to #2.

5 virtuous stars!
This is the first book I have read from this author and I can say that I loved it! It is a little bit slow but it is definitely needed for the character development and relationship development between the two main character Natalie and Flynn. This book had me reading and not wanting to put it down to see what happens next.
These two have a crazy attraction and connection from the moment they meet in New York and Flynn is just so gentle and beautiful with her. His dirty but sweet what every women wants in a man haha!
I love that Natalie is a kind but broken girl who you can tell has gone through some form of trauma in her life to make her who she is and that it influences the beliefs she has. Flynn is a massive movie star and has a specific predilection sexually that might not be compatible with Natalie's dark past but these two just can't stay away from each other.
The book ends in a cliffhanger where we finally find out exactly what happens to Natalie but not in great detail. So onto book number 2 for me I can tell this is going to be a fantastic series!

DNF 44%
I skip and skim after chapter 1.
I kept skimming, hoping something will capture my attention, but 44% in, I got bored of skimming...
I feel no chemistry from the characters, the first time the hero saw heroine, he wanted her.......that's it, no explanation, its instant love, instant lust, instant connection with no explanation why.....and I was not convinced....
It is probably a nice book, but nothing jump out and grab me to read it after i skim chapters after chapters.... so sorry baby, it didn't work out. It's not you, it's most likely me.....

Good story, however ......
I like the story line and the characters in Virtuous, however, it is a little drawn out. I am a little frustrated when things are constantly repeated, when a piece of information continues to be brought up as if the reader has a memory problem.
