Jalayla couldn’t believe the arrogance of the man! To actually order her around? How rude! But beneath the surface of her anger towards the handsome prince, there was a simmering heat, an uninvited fascination with the man that she couldn’t seem to fight. Every time he touched her, every time he even looked at her, she felt that strange sensation.
Tasir wanted to fire her at first sight. She argued with him about everything and challenged him in ways that no other woman dared. So why did he want to pick the woman up and make love to her? Initially, he didn’t know that the lovely woman with fiery eyes and a sensuous figure was the one and only Princess Jalayla. Once he did, he was determined that he would have her for his own.
So what’s a man to do when he finds out that the woman of his dreams is promised to marry another man?

"Fighting with the Infuriating Prince" is the story of Jalayla and Tasir.
MEOW! So hot!
This short story has a battle of words and lust between a willful princess and a stubborn prince, who rule neighboring states. Loads of witty banter, sexy orgasms and rawr lovemaking makes this an interestingly smokin' read. Ends abruptly though!
This was a very good book, enjoyed it completely. I don't like that when I bought this book, it was as a series of 2 books. Then when I finish this book it's announced that (I think it said 4 more books coming for this series). I like to know what I am getting into ahead of time. I feel when I purchased the first 2 books, it should have said 4 more to come.
In Fighting with the infuriating Prince ~ War, Love & Harmony ~ Book 1 Jalayla and Tasir are neighbor Princess and Prince in neighboring kingdoms. They visit a fortress where their families often meet for discussions of common problems. Jalayla finds Tasir overbearing, aggressive and a bully until they meet in the kitchen for a midnight slack.
They meet the next day at a stream and thing change quickly. The tension between their fathers and their countries continues to escalate.
Six weeks later, Tasir visits Jalayla only to find out she has been contracted to another man and he has been contracted to wed her best friend; and the story ends in cliffhanger so be warned. It was a cut story without an end.
Dislike to hate at first sight, lots of passion from the start. Next thing you know they're in each other's arm and the tide is turning and love is around the corner. Problem is the two people involved have responsibilities and expectations already set in place that do not include each other.
Fighting with the Infuriating Prince is the first Novella in the War, Love, & Harmony Series was a great quick read. We start out with the Prince entering a room and demanding a drink from what he thought was a servant. Initially, he didn’t know that the lovely woman with fiery eyes was the one and only Princess Jalayla. She couldn’t believe the arrogance of the man, but both of them felt the hot simmering heat between them. Every time he touched her, every time he even looked at her, she felt that strange sensation.
Tasir, the Prince thought that she argued with him about everything and challenged him in ways that no other woman dared. As time went on and circumstances that they were alone in a remote location, they both could not hold back on their passion, even though Princess Jalayla was betrothed to another and therefore a virgin.
When it was time to go, she left without saying good bye. While Tasir was also betrothed to another Princess, he wanted Jalayla and no other. Jalayla would not return his calls. After 6 weeks, Tasir came to her country and Palace to get her. Her father was furious but someone had to break the contracts between the countries that both Jalayla and Tasir both were betrothed. What no one knows but Jalayla is that there was evidence of Jalayla and Tasir's time together, so something must be done quickly.
You will want to read this novella for the background to the new series. You won't regret it.
I have enjoyed Miss Lennox's short romances before, but this one was quite disappointing.
CONTAINS SPOILERS
First off, the male protagonist, Prince Tasir, was not very romantic. He was more of a bully than a romantic hero. I completely understand the concept of dominating males and how they are romantic ( hello Gideon Cross), but Tasir was just downright rude, offensive and completely annoying. More often than not, it felt like she was being forced to have sex. He would have gotten some point if he had atleast changed something in his attitude at the end of the book, but nope. Nada.
I actually liked Princess Jalayla, she was a strong, fiery, independent woman with good morals and all for eradication of poverty in her country. But Miss Lennox completely ruined it by making her look like an trembling virgin who does his bidding in the blink of an eye.
And the end was the most disappointing. I would have overlooked everything else if not for the ending. Characters are meant to be imperfect.
But I expected much more to reluctance on her part and something redeemable on his. But it was all just rushed and was oven in like two pages and just abruptly pushed you to the second book.
Like I said it was not one of Miss Lennox's best novellas.
2.5* In this NSFW story, the main characters are about as shallow as they get. The sex was written well enough, but I found the story lacked depth or development. Reads like it should be for a far younger audience.
Major overuse of exclamation points. I did like the general concept, but I wish the characters had been given a little room to grow without their exclaimed narrative carrying the story. Their dialogue seemed a bit awkward in places, which I am attributing to the interaction of royal characters.
I did like some of the consequences at the end, although I did find the story's conclusion somewhat abrupt.
One major pet peeve was utter unrealistic losing of virginity and the girl's utter innocence, which is part of what made me this this is intended for audiences likely a little too young for NSFW stories.
Short, quick read. Cleanly written and obviously been edited despite overuse of exclamation points.
I've read this author's work before. While they aren't the best books out there, they tend to be free/cheap and are a reasonable (if short) read. A couple of things really annoyed me about this one though. The constant switching viewpoints is a pet peeve of mine. I love multiple viewpoints but I prefer one at a time. The constant switching back and forward with no warning is irritating. Tasir is too much of a bully to be a romantic hero. He didn't really have any redeeming features. Also, this book was rushed and ended abruptly. Most likely a cynical attempt to make you buy book 2. Luckily, book 2 was free. If that ends in a similar fashion, I guess I'll never know how the story ends.
It's an okay, quick read (if you're not too bothered about plot) but I wouldn't pay to get the end of the story.
I'm not even sure how to describe this one. The story is not really great or at least doesn't make sense to me. I was just happy the entire story was so short so I didn't give up after two chapters. Go some people it may be normal to feel stimulated when you argue with someone for me it's such an unthinkable concept it was a real issue and an obstacle to understand the relationship Taric and Jalaya developed. The language seemed somewhat dated so I struggled there too. If it wasn't for the great character of princess Jalaya and the very realistic ending I'm not sure if I could give this book more than one star. Due to the content I don't recommend this book for readers looking for romance, it's rather something for friends of erotica.
Very nice start. I enjoyed Jalayla's spunk and sharp mind. Tasir's first appearance show's that he is not used to being challenged. He issues orders and expects obedience. Jalayla isn't going to be bullied by anyone and lets him know it. The book feels a bit rushed in spots; especially at the end but is captivating enough to continue with the next in the series. Adult read

This is a great start to the new series. I was not ready for the love story between Jayla and Tasir to end. Tasir is straight up dominate but he has to be to one day be King. Jayla was a loving innocent with a big heart. The two together is unstoppable. The attraction between the two was hot and sexy. I especially love the scene by the oasis (water) :). Tasir is just something else. I hope to read more about them in future books.
This book was not as good as the other I have read of Elizabeth Lennox. Yes, the male character was very dominant and bossy, and the female character was very, well sometimes like she was two different characters. She was strong, independent at some times, and other she was more weak, or maybe it was just me.
I get that she hated him, and still she felt the connection between them and she couldn't resist his touch.
I usually fall in love with all of Elizabeth Lennox books but i did not this time, I like this novella, but i did not FALL in love with it. It is a must read so you can understand the background of the 4 countries and the This is Prince Tasir and Princess Jalayla story. It has a cliff hanger which is weird for her books
I really liked this novella but feel it could have been better. It was a little short and seemed to end abruptly. It also seemed to be focused more on the physical side of the characters' relationship than the emotional side. But overall it was very entertaining and well written.
Although short this is a great setup for this new series. An improbable couple classic polar opposites find each other. Nicely done with a middle eastern setting! On to part two.
That title says it all, but beware it is only 5 chapters and then you have to get the next book. Malayalam and Taris' scenes are vintage hate & lust at first sight. Some funny dialogue but this is pure fluff. Sometimes that's what we need.
