Shane has got to be my favourite Pryce so far. Fortunately for him, he's managed to be pretty normal, despite his crazy parents and lack of good relationship role models. This was the angstiest (is that even a word?) of the three books I've read of this series. I've read the first two. I'm glad I skipped the third book since I really can't stand Vanessa and this book basically confirmed for me that she is mean.
What I liked: 1) There is a sense of mystery to this book. It wasn't really a mystery story, but that element made this a little more interesting than it would have been without it. 2) The H, while a little insecure in his relationship, is so sweet. He's been faithful to his high school sweetheart for the past ten years! Seriously, that's unheard of for the the unbelievably wealthy and hot H in a NA romance story. I have to admit that I loved him for it. 3) The h is just a very sweet girl. I didn't find her to be pushover. She's been with the same guy for a decade and knows that he's struggling to feel deserving of her. She's patient and loving. I really liked her. I do think that she should have been mad at Debbie for revealing everything to Shane without asking the h first. That was so not cool. 4) Seeing the couples from the previous books. I wish we saw more of them, but it was nice that they showed up. 5) The writing was engaging as always. It was a nice and easy read.
What I didn't like: 1) Vanessa. She was so spiteful. What the heck does Justin see in her? I feel like he deserves more than a woman like that. 2) Dane. He's a grade A jerk. 3) The end of the book, after the conflict is resolved, seemed very rushed. 4) All the drama due to meddling. It sort of made me sad that it could have all been avoided.
I'm not one for second chance romances. They can be good, and sometimes I really enjoy them but other times they can feel quite sad and I just end up not really enjoying the actual romance.
This however was good. Full of sexy scenes and I really did believe these two characters were in love.
NOPE. THIS WAS SO SHALLOW I WOULD HAVE CHUCKED IT ACROSS THE ROOM. Complete mockery of romance. LOL. So cheesy too.
The male lead was underserving of the heroine even if he has 'amnesia' and doesn't remember her. Pretty sure someone with amnesia wouldn't act like an entitled asshole. When he was introduced, there were so many things about him to not like at all :
1. He falls back to his womanizing ways while he's still recovering from amnesia.
3. He doesn't want to go home. Fine. He's wallowing and sulking in Thailand and when his brother sends his ex-fiancee to him, he immediately thinks "Okay, since she's not leaving, and I need a warm body, then I'm just going to seduce her into my bed and we'll fuck each other's brains out." Motherf**ker.
4. He got all pissed and angry when the heroine admitted that she had given back his engagement ring, which means they are strangers again. And he got pissed?! Hello! Did you not remember the way you treated her like a leper and gold digging harpy?! What sane woman would have you back after you so vehemently treated her like shit?! Having amnesia isn't an excuse. If he's going to be so mean about it, I'd rather he was a war hero suffering from PTSD. That would at least give him a valid reason to be an asshole.
OVERALL please don't waste your time. If this is the standard of romances these days, no wonder women are giving up on men and loving other women instead, and how young girls have such a twisted view of romance - if the guy's an asshole to me, and maybe hits me, then yes, he loves me. WTF.
I really didn’t remember much concerning Shane from the previous three books so his story is a marvelous surprise. He does seem mostly normal in spite of a wealthy but hellish background. Even in this story there are times that his entitlement attitude shows. I can clearly understand why Ginger’s half-brother does not approve of the relationship. What happens with his disapprove is just as over the top as the way Shane’s family treats Ginger. The conclusion is absolutely fabulous! I loved it after all they had been through.
The Pryce family makes their selves know loud and clear in this story. If I had been Shane, my gut would have been to stay far, very far away. I had always like Vanessa but she behaves badly through much of this story. Dane is his usual nightmarish self in his treatment of people. I really can’t wait for his story. I’m thinking he is going to need more than a brain injury just to become a decent human being!
idk what to feel about this. I didn't feel the connection between Shane and Ginger who are supposedly high school sweethearts. The amnesia thing is very weird, and so is their whole relationship.
Okay, at this point the Pryce family has my heart, I love them all. With that said, Shane is my favorite brother, right after Dane and because of that I wished his character was further developed. He is often described as the artistic one, the most sensitive but besides his photography background very little is developed on the sensitive side. Besides that, during the entire book I was expecting some crazy plot twist because all of the drama around the reason Shane left the states. Like I was at least expecting a twin sister to appear but that never happened. Because of that false expectation I’ve to give it a 4 of 5 stars.
I literally could not put the book down and I read the book in one evening! I recommend reading "The Pryce Family" series. It will make you cheer for the women and fall in love with the men!!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. This is the second in this series that I have read, and even though it would have been beneficial to have read them in sequence, it is not necessary, as they are each standalone books with no cliffhangers. I loved this book. It was so emotional throughout, forcing you to feel all of the pain, betrayal and the love within. The plot is smooth, carrying you along as we follow Shane and Ginger go through some major growing pains following a long separation. The characters are truly strong, and create a special place in your heart just for them. It is so easy to get carried away when reading this book. Once you start, you won't want to put it down. Give it a read. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't. Just make sure you have some tissues handy.

Amnesia is also not one of my favorite trope. Well basically I prefer run-of-the-mill romances to those relying on any specific trope, as those do not leave enough room for very good character development. Honestly I've been a bit disappointed by latest books written by Nadia Lee for that reason. They're not as good as the first in my opinion, as the character development comes more from external circumstances than from within. Therefore it's not as convincing to my eyes. The relationship between both characters also seemed to rely almost exclusively on lethal attraction and sex. And the heroine looked to me to be completely ruled by her hormones and not to have any ability to control them. By the end of the book, I was frankly not convinced theirs was a solid and long-lasting relationship. Which is a fail for a romance, even if the story was rather enjoyable to read throughout.
3.5 but rounding down bc Vanessa made me so mad LOL
Chaotic. Dramatic. Not a bad read. Not enough guilt or groveling in my opinion. Lots of entitlement.
If you lost your memory whether they return to you or not, you are still responsible for the pain you've caused when people tell you what you've done.
Shane was a selfish asshole. But I still enjoyed the book Nadia has a gift and its writing the worst fucking men LOL

Shane and Ginger are engaged. He's in an accident and has amnesia and is huge dick to everyone. I don't know, I'm not a specialist in this kind of trauma so I can't say if his behavior was odd or not, but he was a jackass.
Safety: OW/OM Either way, fuck his family and their double standards.
I liked this book well enough because draaammaaa however I really hated Shane's family (and that's saying a lot because Shane was a douche bag) so I probably won't read anyone else's book in this series because they were freaking INTOLERABLE. I barely put up with Shane.
Rant: What the fuck was Vanessa's problem? I haven't read her book but if she's this much of a C U Next Tuesday in her own book than she is in this one I'll pass. She's lucky she's pregnant or I would've been rooting for someone, anyone to slap the shit out of her. I don't condone violence but jeez no one's ever told her to stfu and it shows. There's strong, stubborn and protective women which I think is what the author was going for but she failed. She pissed me off more than Shane and that's saying a lot.
In turn, Debbie was THAT BITCH. I freakin' LOVED her. She was basically the only voice of reason in the entire book.
Meh. It started out interesting but definitely devolved into a soap opera when the protags got back from Thailand.
I didn’t understand the fem protag. She said she didn’t want to start up her relationship with her guy only to have it go down in flames if/when he regained his memory and ran away again, yet that is exactly what she does. She get’s re-engaged to the male protag without discussing any of the issues they had before or her very legitimate concerns, and surprising to no one, the deceptions blow up in their faces.
How the hell could anyone have a functional healthy relationship with someone when they essentially start their new relationship out with omissions so huge, they might as well be lies? The protags don’t confide in one another despite their supposed amazing chemistry in and out of the bedroom. I think this book may have depended a little too much on the nuances of the protags relationship carrying over from the previous books instead of establishing it’s strength from the get go and adding to it. As a result, the book was very emotionally hollow to me.
I also didn’t think the amnesia aspect of the plot was particularly compelling because the male prostag’s “gut instincts and basically his muscle memory apparently allowed him and the fem protag to start up their relationship again with no problems. What was the point of the amnesia then? I also found it ridiculous that in a group of pretty close siblings, not one of them thought to go after their brother when he up and disappears for a friggen year except one? Seriously? People with endless means?
I don’t remember the author even telling us what the accident was that caused the male protag’s amnesia. It should have been included in this book as a refresher even if it was mentioned in the previous one.

I enjoyed this book! A few times this one made my cry! Seriously, it brought tears to my eyes. Shane and Ginger really went thru some things and if you've kept up with this series, it all goes back I go the parents and their relationship behind and in the public's eye! We are not our parents! That what Shane and Ginger had to remember in order to be together! Out of all the other characters that Nadia Lee wrote about in this entire series, so far, I feel that these two have the most chemistry ever. I think everyone who reads this book will enjoy it. I will definitely recommend this book to others!
Oh my, with a family like Shane's you really don't need many enemies and will definitely need a therapist. Despite all of this, he remained normal, capable of love and commitment. That he and Ginger were capable of maintaining their relationship through high school and college before getting engaged demonstrated to me the depth of their feelings.
I never saw the twist coming and had guessed that Dane or the father to be the culprit-my bad. I thought the fact that Shane had dated but never felt like he could sleep with another woman during his amnesia because he did not 'feel right' was powerful. The HEA was well earned.
This is a very sad love story because both families caused serious problems for Shane and Ginger. They met in high school, started dating in their sophomore year, through college and after. More than 10 years and they became engaged. Suddenly, Shane disappeared to South Africa. When Ginger found out and followed him,Shane had been in an accident and did not recognize her and was with another woman. A year passed, Dane, his older brother, tracked him down and found Shane had lost his memory in the accident and did not know who he was. This is the story of what happens next!
Shane lost him memory but we don't get much detail surrounding that. I loved Shane. I liked Ginger. Their story is somewhat tragic. As messed up as his family is, it was not them that caused the drama/trauma in his relationship with Ginger. It was her family this time. But it all worked out. The other characters from the first three books are there. I wasn't particularly fond of Vanessa in her story and I really did not care for her at all in this one. She was kinda over the top... Too much so. Although I did skip a lot of the steamy stuff, all in all, it was a good read.
The Billionaire's Forgotten Fiancee (The Pryce Family Series Book 4)
The love story of Shane and Ginger. One year ago Shane walk out on Ginger and no one knew where he when. Now they found him and he has lost his memory. Came has order Ginger to go to Thailand to bring Shan home. Will she find love and bring Shane home?
I’ve read these books out of order starting with the older ones first and then going back to the earlier ones. These are really rough and not that great. I mean, switching the spelling of a character name is careless and the story is just fairly dull. This almost feels like a creative writing junior college assignment that earned a C plus.
The book didn't really belong in a Pryce series in my opinion. Shane didn't really seem to fit into the typical ruthlessness of the Pryce family. I was quite bored and really struggled to finish it, even with the ending. I have read three of the books so far and I am hooked, but on this occasion in not feeling it. ( not a high school sweetheart fan)
Meh ... a so - so story at its best. It felt 'forced', no chemistry, again 'forced' - like the MCs were forced to be together and with all the drama that happened = which were also 'forced' not real and fake, I don't like this story. The real reason with all these drama was really such a disappointment. It's because of her brother. So boring. So un-climatic.
I have enjoyed reading The Pryce Family Books, by Nadia Lee. Its a wonder the Children did not fallow the footsteps of their, difunctional parents. Shane and Ginger went though so much heartache. It just shows that love always wins in the end.
Ok definitely liked this one two. Books 3 & 4 are much better than 1 & 2. I love the way this played out. Amnesia, a misunderstanding that looked bad, pain and heartache, drama and the sparks that are still there. A fantastic journey through the hard to get to the good.
I really enjoyed Shane and Ginger' s story, so much hurt because of Shane' s dysfunctional family and Ginger' s over protective brother. I read the first four books in the series with hardly any foul language, but that isn't true of this book!
3 stars. I usually love books with amnesia, but this was too far-fetched to be believable. Not sure why I keep reading this author’s books when I don’t really enjoy them. I guess they’re easy and light, even if the characters don’t always make sense.
I wasn’t wild about this one because it seemed like it was all dirty times. I’m sure that there are a lot of people that will like it for that but I’m more interested in the romance than the sexy stuff. And truthfully, I didn’t think that the hero and heroine would have made it in real life.
Be prepared for all the feels with this book. It was bit slow to start but as things picked up it was worth the build. The only thing I think would have been the icing on the cake was to know what caused the amnesia while he was out of the country.
