For boys and girls who love Minecraft, here is an exciting, fun adventure novel that takes you right into the world you love. National Bestselling Author!

One fateful day, Lucy is invited to study at the prestigious Overworld Academy. The Academy offers her the opportunity to learn all of the secrets of the Overworld—and it’s an opportunity she can’t miss. She’s sad to leave behind her friends Henry and Max, but it’s time for her to have an adventure on her own. At Overworld Academy, she meets two new friends, Jane and Phoebe. Jane is an expert fighter, and Phoebe is a talented alchemist. With Lucy’s own knack for treasure hunting, the trio makes an incredible team. And when the school is attacked by zombies, the three girls are going to have their skills put to the test.

Together they prove that they can take on almost anything, but when Lucy overhears the school headmaster conspiring to take over the Overworld, Jane and Phoebe don’t believe her. As a newbie at the academy, Lucy hasn’t gained their trust yet. Her new friends turn against her and she gets kicked out of school. When she goes back home to get help from Henry and Max, she’s shocked at what she finds waiting for her in town. Will Lucy and her friends be able to work together to fight the evil rising in their world?

This is the first book in a new three-book series spin-off of the original Unofficial Gamer's Adventure series with its bestselling book, Quest for the Diamond Sword . Fans of Minecraft won’t want to miss this new adventure.

Sky Pony Press, with our Good Books, Racehorse and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of books for young readers—picture books for small children, chapter books, books for middle grade readers, and novels for young adults. Our list includes bestsellers for children who love to play Minecraft; stories told with LEGO bricks; books that teach lessons about tolerance, patience, and the environment, and much more. In particular, this adventure series is created especially for readers who love the fight of good vs. evil, magical academies like Hogwarts in the Harry Potter saga, and games like Minecraft, Terraria, and Pokemon GO. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.

Amazing book. The whole book wasn't really centered on fighting zombies, but there was parts where the zombies would start attacking. It still was a good book though.

Hi everyone! Zombie Invasion was a great book. I liked when Lucy and her friends fought the herds of zombies. This would be a fantastic book for Minecrafters and adventurers to read and enjoy.

If I were a kid I'd probably give this audiobook an extra star. It is, after all, targeted at children who like video games.

The plot is simple. Lucy has been chosen to attend Overworld Academy, but before she can leave her village she and her friends are attacked by Zombies, and various buildings are being destroyed by TNT. Once she arrives at the Academy, the problems multiply. Zombies and other bad guys attack the Academy. Meanwhile Lucy overhears a plot to attack the Academy and the entire Overworld. Yet, no one will believe her.

The narrative is simple. No character building and the characters believe the most unbelievable things.

The narration itself was good. It was clear that the narrator was taking her job seriously.

Any modesty issues? None that I could see/hear.

I doubt I would listen to this audiobook again, but only because of the reading level.

I liked this book because it packed in a lot of drama. There were battles, adventure, and lots of stuff that I enjoyed in playing Minecraft. I liked the part when the characters started brewing potion and things got a little crazy. The book challenged me because I normally read books with a lot of pictures, but I really liked this book.

Bought as a gift. Read before giving to see what it's like. I was entertained, but I don't have a new understanding of Minecraft like I'd hoped.

Another fun Minecraft-inspired series, this time with a fun, Hogwarts-like setting, is the Minecrafter’s Academy series. The first book is Zombie Invasion.
