The Alpha Prime Commander

Rate this book
Lo Cordan, Commander of the Alpha Prime has known what to expect from his mating since he started having the mating dreams of his kind centuries ago. Did he like the idea of sharing his mate with another man? A human at that? Perhaps not, but that doesn't mean he'll let either of them get away from him.
In a dangerous situation where things are not what they seem, the connection Lo, Jackson and Lena forge between them could be the only thing that keeps them alive.

Not part of a series, this is a science fiction romance that skirts the erotic. MFM

Kelly Lucille is the author of paranormal and fantasy romance.
She has a B.A. Degree in Creative Writing and Literature from Naropa University.
Her first book "Keeping Her" published in July of 2013.

On a more personal note- I read my first romance novel: "Shanna" by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss when I was 13 years old. I still read it every year or so just to remember how amazing a really good romance novel can make you feel.

Space opera-ish SFR MFM( with a hint of MM) menage romance with fascinating worldbuilding.
Quite readable, gets into the action quickly and never lets up. All three MCs were distinct - kickass but vulnerable, smart, kind h, ageless, other, feral alien H, brash, brilliant, military human H. I liked this one best of all the SFR works by this author. 4 stars!!

Interesting take on ménage it almost had a triangle feel to it but you know they would end up all being together.

One H and the h are already mated going into the story, the mated H knows he has to share his mate with a human because that is the only way she will survive what is coming. The mated H gets jealous and doesn't likes sharing but knows and even seeks it out (he is the driving force behind it so I didn't have that much of a problem seeing his jealousy). Not something I would like to read every day but interesting premise.

Fast-paced fated-mates solving-mystery novella. It was good but I would have liked to see much more of their relationship as it progresses. The universe seems like it would be full of more stories and the fated-mates angle opens up all kinds of potential.

I liked Lena, Jackson, and even Lo. Lena has so much she has to deal with in having Lo as her Pletar and then adding in Jackson - woo, what is a girl to do? Throw in dealing with the Collector and his auction, a mysterious stone, and weird bonds, and all she can do is survive and kill anyone who goes against her.

Mfm with Mm. Short story. This menage was different. Cordon was the dominant male and Lena his mate. Cordon added another mate human Jackson. Cordon was an asshat and Lena was blah, but Jackson was likable. Their relationship was very dry and the sex was mechanical.

Short, great fun and interesting enough that a second book in the Alpha Prime world would be greatly enjoyed.

I had trouble getting past the first two chapters, not something that normally happens for me with a Kelly Lucille book, I actually *gasp* put it down! I think I may have read too many books with overly irritating alpha males recently and was worried we were going down that rocky road.

But then I picked it back up and I'm glad I did, interesting strong heroes interesting strong heroine, no too stupid to live moments. Interesting story new twists and turns, I hope we get to see more stories with these characters as the main focus.

I liked that they all had decent strengths, and weakness, highly recommend it.

ABSOLUTELY ENTHRALLING STORY!! By KELLY LUCILLE

Couldn't put it down until the end for its intensity, surprises, suspense and steamy interactions between them all. Ms. Lucille has woven about absolutely wonderful storyline with all the elements that will draw your attention to see what happens next. Hopefully she'll write more concerning this fantastic storyline in the future. Will look forward to reading more. So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR YOU TO GET!

The only reason I don't give it a 5 star rating it's because it's so short!! And there's so much "fight" from the beginning xD Not that it's a bad thing, but it gives a air of "wrongness". At least to me... Other than that, awesome!!

Great start to a new series

Have liked all the books I have read by this author and this one doesn't disappoint. Lots of room to have things happen in this new series. Love that out heroes are a triad with three very different souls. Look forward to more.

What makes Kelly's ménages different from other books of the sort is that there is one male who most definitely is more dominant then the other partners. It changes the dynamic between the characters. Which is in turn both better and worse. But very interesting nonetheless.
