Anzai, suffering badly after a run-in with a sniper, is rescued at the last minute by a mysterious blond devil who gives him enough human blood to heal his wounds. Embarrassed by the way he lost control after tasting human blood, Anzai hides himself away from everyone, especially Tsukasa, until an incident unfolds live on broadcast TV which shines a glaring light on the devils who walk among the populace of Japan "
Lo tengo que decir. El manga me ha absorbido. Totalmente. Ahora mismo subjectivamente le estaría poniendo una 4 estrella. Asimismo, la historia se está poniendo bastante "interesante". Como dije antes me entretiene y para bien. Solo espero que de verdad este manga esté completado porque sino tendremos un problema. No estaría preparada mentalmente
I'm so addicted to this series, the introduction of new charactrts and plot points in this volume were amazing. I had to finish it in one sitting, it was impossible to walk away from this volume!
Wow, I might like this more than volume 1 and I found the first volume really enjoyable.
We find out who the white hair man is right away. His name is Lee, and like our main character Anzai, he is a half devil as well. Lee gives the man some human blood, but unlike Lee, Anzai doesn't use blood, and so he becomes unstable and tries to lash out. This leads to Anzai not wanting to see Tsukasa anymore to keep her safe. Of course Tsukasa wants to see him and with the help of Lee she might get her wish. if it's not for the Sniper and her people putting their plan into action.
This is a nice world building volume but even more so, it's a pretty fucked up one with plenty of twist and turns. Just when you think you know who is good and bad you find out it is the opposite. With a big bloody massacre at the end, and plenty of people in the cross-hairs, we might have some major characters dying soon if they can't figure out how to escape.
Overall great volume with plenty of moving pieces, lots of great moments, and even some comedy bits. I like the new characters introduced and want to see where we'll go. A 4 out of 5.
For all those reading this series think it's a romance josei it's actually a seinen thriller, action and crime series. I wish people would stop comparing it to Tokyo Ghoul. Devil's line is it's own series and if we should compare it to anything it should be Blood lad and maybe Psycho Pass. Anyway despite the odd art style inside the manga the story is really fine to read and Anzai's character is relatable, however the other main character Tsukasa Taira is pretty useless and just there for the romantic pairing and nothing more. Another thing I will add is some of the mature content is unnecessary especially the sexual scenes and incest it was awkward to read.
In Devil’s Line; Volume 2, after a run in with a sniper, the main character Anzai is left injured and suffering. He ends up being rescued at the last minute by a strange blonde devil who gives him enough human blood to heal his wounds. He feels embarrassed that he lost control at the taste of human blood so he goes into hiding. Especially from the one girl he really likes, Tsukasa. She is fully human, he is half-devil. Then an incident unfolds live on television, which draws attention to the devils who are living amongst the human population of Japan. Will Anzai be able to hide anymore?
This series has grabbed me with the gory imagery and the relationship between Anzai and Tsukasa. I am invested!
The introduction of too many characters, further inconsistency in the art, and turning to rather tired plot devices has really dampened my initial enthusiasm for Devil's Line.
Nice one, where we learn more about the devils, aka vampires. Our main people try to move on from the end of the last issue. The story is still developing, and let's see how it develops. So let's keep on reading.
I have always loved comics, and I can and I have. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love it. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to .
Yet another stellar volume! The plot really moved along at breakneck speed here and there was a fantastic blend of fast-paced action and considerable worldbuilding.
The deeper dive into the group of terrorists (for lack of a more specific name) brought about an extremely interesting turn of events. The fantastic black and white and every shade of grey morality discussion spurred on by the terrorist group and their plan gave some serious food for thought which suggests the complexity of this manga is at a higher level than the first volume suggested. In this sense, this manga does somewhat remind me of Tokyo Ghoul, but the specific elements of it are still very different.
I particularly appreciated that the romance was still a strong contender and that it didn’t take a back burner because of the action and it didn’t overwhelm the story. The romance between the protagonist and Anzai was just the right amount of longing without coming across as pathetic or needy.
There was just so much to like here and a promise of much more to come!
3,5/5 ⭐️ I kind of bought this for my birthday last year and then I forgot about it. But I did read this today and I’m just angry with myself that I didn’t read it sooner. It has an interesting plot and I wanna knew more... The art is quite good too!
GODDDDDDD the pacing is just so good and i can't get over how well everyone is characterized. also just incredibly refreshing that the human girl is older than the vampire boy (though we may get a plot twister later idk).
Comienza a rodar la trama principal con giros y personajes nuevos bastante interesantes. Hay que decir que me ha atrapado muchísimo este tomo e inmediatamente tuve que ir al siguiente. Poco más puedo añadir sin decir sin querer algún spoiler.
obsessed with the way the author is trying to disguise their bondage kink within the plot but instead of it being a whisper they’re actually screaming…it’s not a secret babe, it’s a billboard in times square. you are NAWT slick!! 🤭🤭
I am not sure anymore in which direction this manga series is headed. Nevertheless, Part 2 of Devils Line truly had some great plot twists and new characters. I will definitely continue to read this, especially since that cliffhanger was too good not to continue.
SPOILERS: I do not know if it is just because I only recently started reading mangas but I never seem to get it when a boy with long hair is a boy and not a girl. Anyway, Hans Lee definitely brings more humor into the story while also making it more interesting since he is so unique. Jill and Sakaki might be my favorite characters since I love powerful women and cause I totally dig Sakaki’s vibe. Oppositely I thought I hated the sniper girl Nanako/07 from Part 1 but that traitor Kikuhara is the real villain here and now I actually feel bad for 07 but that might change if she does not and continues to try to kill the good vampires.
As always, I am looking forward to reading the next part.
