Rate this book
"As problems mount and Satan takes greater control of the world, the only hope is through a deeper, more powerful, prayer anointing. In The Last Great Anointing, Dr. Morris Cerullo discusses how God is going to pour out an end-time, prophetic, prayer anointing that will bring the Church into a greater dimension of authority. You will learn how to tap into the unlimited, supernatural power source and defeat the devil and every evil spirit."

"The key to praying with power and receiving answers to your prayers lies in your relationship with the Lord. (Morris Cerullo, The Last Great Anointing, Page 105)

In this book Morris Cerullo is calling Christians to a life of prayer and intercession, in order to release the power of God on this earth to change one's life, city and nation.

It is all about having a relationship with God through study of his Word, prayer, fellowship with other believers and evangelism.

The goal of this book is to give the Body of Christ marching orders to pray and intercede for their nations. This is not only a book on theology, but gives practically to the believer. I particularly liked his thoughts on how Christians are called to love one another. The following is a quote on some of the practically mentioned above:

"If you see a brother or sister who needs new clothes, go buy them some clothes. If you see a brother who needs a car and you have two cars, give him one of yours. If you see a sister who is a single parent struggling to make ends meet to care for her children, do what you can to help her." (Page 183)

This book calls believers to holiness and being no longer conformed and compromising with the godlessness of this present world's system. I did not feel an ounce of condemnation as I read this book. It was a challenge to all believers to get ready for the Lord's return and as the book of revelation says to say, "Come Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22:20).

One of the best parts of this book is that it is filled with prayers you can pray. One of the things I despise the most in some books on prayer is that there are no prayers in them. This book practices what it preaches and gives the reader the ability to pray for what the author is instructing.

Come Lord Jesus!
