Yoga/Pilates instructor Thyme Field's tender heart has gotten her into trouble before--garden-variety trouble like adopting stray animals or volunteering to take the overnight shift at a telethon. But this time, she's in way over her head. Thyme's working for a hard-charging career woman, whose nanny Helena disappears. Thyme finds herself helping Victor, the woman's brother, as he searches for his missing sister. Victor and Thyme stumble onto evidence that suggests Helena's been murdered, but nothing's as it seems, and Victor's holding back information. When it becomes clear they aren't the only ones hunting for Helena, they'll have no choice but to rely on each other to save their own lives. This is the third book in the We Sisters Three series of romantic comedic mysteries. If you enjoyed it, be sure to check out Rosemary's Gravy (book one, now available for FREE) and Sage of Innocence (book 2). Each book stands alone, but you'll probably enjoy them more if you read them in the order in which they were written.

AudioBook Review: Stars: Overall 3 Narration 2 Story 3
I’ve reached the end of this mystery trilogy, and we are focused in on Thyme: a Yoga and Pilates instructor, youngest sister and the last one to jump into solving murders. She’s working as a personal trainer for a socialite when the Brazilian nanny goes missing. Things really start to heat up when the Nanny’s brother appears on the doorstep, in all his Latin gorgeousness, made even more attractive by his concern for his sister. Now Thyme is not only anxious to do what her older sisters have done but she’s finding Victor attractive and intriguing and she wants to investigate the disappearance and the potential connection the two share.
When you add in the nanny’s ex-husband, a corrupt police officer in Brazil and his potential involvement in her disappearance, there are plenty of twists, turns and several laughs that take us through the book. Like the earlier titles in the series, the stories are fast paced and fun, escapist reads: nothing too heavy or overly angsty with a nice touch of romance thrown in for good measure. And if that is the sort of escape you are looking for to hide away with a no-fuss story grab a copy of the book.
Narration for this title is again provided by Vanessa Daniels, as have the earlier titles. I kept hoping for some improvement in the performance that would add a dash of the lighthearted humor, or even a touch of aural interest to the story: and I was sorely disappointed. As with each of the earlier books in this series, the odd hesitations, muddled tones, limited distinction in voice for different characters and pacing that was uneven with no apparent relationship to the text left me frustrated. However, I had committed to the series, so I continued to listen, taking several breaks and replaying sections when my attention wandered. This is my third, and last, experience with this narrator: I kept hoping for more and better, even in minimal ways, and it didn’t happen. I think had I read, rather than listened, to this series, I would have found it a better experience.
I received an AudioBook copy of the title from Tantor Audio for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
Thyme to Live is the third installment in the "We sisters three" trilogy. Book#1 was about the oldest sister investigating a murder she was the only suspect in, book#2 had Sage investigating a murder in order to keep her job. Romance was also important but could easily be seen as secondary.
Unlike the earlier two books, Thyme doesn't have a personal reason to investigate. She did it mainly because the nanny's brother is hot, she's nosy and just to make up the numbers, one sister investigating murder per book. Which is my biggest problem with the book.
Both Rosemary and Sage had something to lose/gain by investigating and putting themselves at risk. Thyme was just along for the ride. The book itself is all over the place and, most of the time, the people in it are either incredibly self centered or plain annoying, Thyme included.
I fun read with interesting characters. A good flow to the story, fortunately some connections to help pull our heroine through. She has good gut instincts, but sometimes jumps at solutions a bit too easily. Fortunately she also can put together a plan while saving the young one.
New to this series and am binge-reading them! This story is about the youngest sister of the three, Thyme, as she tries to help a new friend solve the mystery of his missing sister. I really enjoyed this book, I think it was my favourite of the three individual stories.
I have loved this series on the 3 sisters. Thyme is in New York working as a personal Yoga instructor when the Nanny that works for one of her clients goes missing. She gets tangled up with the missing Nanny's brother and some bad guys from Brazil. Lots of silly fun and mystery.
This was a really good book. Well written and the characters were really interesting. I enjoyed this book even more than the other 2 in the series. It seemed to flow better. I really enjoy Melissa Miller's writing.
The book is beautifully written with a perfect combination of thrill, humor and romance. The third novel in the Field Sisters series, this is surely my favorite one.
The heroine didn't seem as personally invested as her sisters did in their respective installments of the series, but I think I still enjoyed it almost as much.
Enjoyed the first three books in this series, look forward to the wedding trilogy. Am also looking into a couple of other of Melissa F. Miller's books.
This is the third in the series of the “We Sisters Three mysteries by Melissa Miller. Thyme is the youngest of the sisters and has watched the two older ones get involved in and helped solve murders in unorthodox ways so when she becomes inadvertently involved in a possible murder investigation, she jumps in with both feet!
Thyme works as a personal trainer for a wealthy Manhattan socialite, Cate. Helena, the nanny for Cate’s daughter goes missing and her brother Victor shows up at Cate’s home looking for her. Thyme is quite taken by his Brazilian charms and good looks and volunteers to help him try to find her. They are working under the radar as Helena’s ex-husband is a dirty cop in Brazil and they suspect he has had something to do with her disappearance.
Their adventures in trying to solve this suspected “crime take all kinds of twists and turns. A mystery with a few laughs thrown in a fun and quick read.
Disclaimer: I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
The third of a 3 box set featuring the adventure Thyme Field. She has a client for her private training business who is a wealthy bear of a woman with strict rules and expectations. When her daughter's nanny fails to show up Thyme is pressed into duty to fill in. When Thyme runs into the nanny's brother the two team up to hunt her down. Danger, a possible romance and a dirty Brazilian cop and the nanny's ex husband bent on revenge combined to make a busy time for Thyme.
Loved this latest entry into the romantic mysteries of the sisters Rosemary, Sage, and Thyme. Thyme definitely has the little sister issues, with her big sisters trying to tell her what to do and protect her, too. Thyme was definitely perceptive and quick-witted. Fast-paced story with a satisfying ending.
