The Lycan King Xavier is making his final march on the embattled humans to bring on the end of one age and usher in the dawning of a new more fierce one. Where he will dominate over his subjects with an iron claw. Follow along with Michael a half-vampire, Mathieu the werewolf, Azile the Witch, Bailey the Warrior and Lana the young woman who is so much more than anyone knows, as they attempt to bring Xavier and his army to heel.
The whole Michael Talbot adventure series is wonderfully addicting. You would think that with this many books and this many series all centering around the same character, it would get tiring. This is not the case, in fact, just the opposite. I want more, more, more. This series has proven to be just as wonderful as the Zombie Fallout series. For fans of this series, here is another great novel in it.
Great new characters, same old Mike. You must read books 1 & 2 first. I'll never get tired of these characters and their stories. No politics, no sex (thank you), plenty of violence and appropriate gore, no sexism, moderate swearing but not over the top, as usual a heavy dose of snark, and lots of laughs.
If you listen to the audiobook the narrator was, as always, in a class of his own.
Great read as always and it kept me guessing. I’m ready for more. I’m really enjoying Michael and Azile and I want to see Alana and Mathieu together.
Fierce. It was the main character (Talbot) with his snarky inner monologue that originally won me over to this series. But the combination of a richly diverse cast with the "pull no punches" storyline has me unable to put it down. I am in awe of how this author has no problem killing off any of his darling creations. This concept, that truly no one is safe, drew me into the story and kept me glued to it as Talbot and his misfit band fought literally tooth and nail to save the world.
I couldn't seem to catch my literary balance through most of this audiobook as skirmishes and battles continually broke out, and characters who had been friends during the last three stories fell in battle. I kept thinking, "Holy cow--not THAT character! If that one can get bumped off, who's going next?" Would it be Talbot? What about Azile? Oh, geez, not Oggie, Talbot's wonder dog? Lana? Bailey? Matthieu?? Surely none of these. They're all too strong, fierce, smart... good.
Then there was Xavier- the Lycan King who created all this madness. It seemed like no matter how they tried, they just couldn't defeat that creepy, arrogant, narcissistic jerk. Mark Tufo just kept the hits coming. Lycans and werewolves weren't enough? Let's throw in some leftover zombies for fun. Yeesh.
Books one and two in this series were great. This one was outstanding. The characters have all solidified into a strange family of sorts with one goal in mind: to save humankind, no matter the cost. It's a sobering thought, and there were definitely times when this plotline felt heavier than the other two. But then Michael Talbot would open his mouth and change the mood completely. The combination of probably ADHD and having no filter between his brain and his mouth created sensational comic relief, whether his compatriots appreciated his verbal barrage or not.
If you have even the slightest interest in post-apocalyptic, paranormal, or survival against all odds reads, this series should be on your TBR list. Fans of fantasy, thrillers, adventure/action, and horror stories will also enjoy these books. This is definitely a series you should start from the beginning to understand the story and the myriad of characters that inhabit it. It's possible to read this as a stand-alone, but it's not recommended. What I do recommend is that you don't miss this series!
Phew, coming off the end of this book it was INTENSE. With Talbotton absolutely wrecked, New Team Talbot is chasing down Xavier and his Lycan troupe to find Mathieux. There seems to be more afoot than is obvious as Mike is pushed to the brink again and again. With his ability to rally people together for a righteous cause, he must learn to motivate remaining townsfolk, landians and everyone else that action is better than inaction and no one will escape this morally unscathed. The bloodbath of werewolves is neverending.
This was such a good book, albeit very fight centric and downright depressing at times. Being alive is pain for Mike yet still he persists. Azile does the best she can but Mike cannot be contained or corralled.
I cannot wait to see what the next book brings as it better have a redemption arc. ðŸ˜

Brilliant book well done again mark tufo. The humour and the talent of the writer makes me laugh out loud at times. If you've never read any of his books before I would seriously recommend reading this series and the zombie fallout series. most of his books are connected but in different ways with the same characters which is even more fun to read. Very funny, dark at times Great storylines and definitely would recommend this author
This was a really good book too. I couldn't put it down. I love the camaraderie between Michael and Mathieu. I love the closeness between the group. Of course as an animal lover I love Oggie. He's my four legged hero. He's so devoted to Michael and he's so brave. Michael would give his life for anyone in the group. As a vampire he doesn't have a soul but he has a big heart.
What the hell? I'm not sure if you just killed Michael off or if he will be working his way back some how. Maybe reborn as the son or he really isn't dead just in a recovering stasis. Well since there are two more books I'm sure it's something. Ok off to the next book to find out.
Once again Tufo did not disappoint. My love affair with the impossible Michael Talbot continues. I look forward to the next installment as I really want to know what happens to the survivors on both sides of the war.
As in the first two books in this series Mike a much more of an asshole than in other series. Now his incessant whining is really getting to me. Take away these two character developments and this series would be just as good as the others, disappointing.
The action doesn't slow as we watch Mike and Azile gather every ally they can in preparation to save whats left of humanity. Tne last person you would ever want as a diplomat is our only shot at literally keeping the wolves at bay.
Again another great book from Tufo, Mike is such a brilliant character. I’m not the biggest fan of werewolf inspired books on the whole but I have really enjoyed this series so far.
This was clearly one of my best series in regards to Michael Talbot. So much sadness and loneliness in this series. I like how it pieces in Dugan and that evil old lady whose name I won't mention. Aside from that, the psychotic Lycan brothers bent on world domination.
Is this the last of the Lycan Fallout series? Is this the last of the Michael Talbot adventure's? I guess only time will tell..
Awesome work !! You have a writing style that gets me totally involved in the story and keep me there! Thanks for the stories!
I love Mark Tufo and Sean Runnette. A perfect pair. The dynamic duo. Heros of audiobook lore and entertainment.
That said, this was the final battle of the series. Unless there is more of course. :)
The story was just as good, complex, desperate, and gripping as the others. The characters all remained interesting with their own objectives and goals. Finishing this story with how it went as a whole was great. It was a lot of fun. It gave me the usual mix of emotions and I was focused the entire time. The same great overall audio production and feels.
Great work. I highly recommend this story. Even if you have never heard of any of Mike Talbots past exploits, this will peak your curiosity.
Sean and Mark are the Dream Team as always! This was a decent story, but not what I was expecting. I found myself a little bored, which is unusual for my Mark Tufo books...and it jumped around a bit more than I like in my books...I did laugh, and there was touching moments...Just a tad disappointed in the storyline..it really pains me to say this!!!...Mark Tufo is still one of my most fave writers ever...and I DO love the LFO series...and as always I highly recommend ALL of Mark's work...Sean NAILED it as always!!!
Great as always...liked it better this time..must have been my mood last time...I love Mark Tufo's writing....
I almost feel repetitive in stating how much I enjoy Mark Tufo's writing in each of my reviews; but, it is nevertheless a fact that continues to prove correct. I won't go into a long review of how spectacular the book is, you'll just have to take my word for it. Anyone who has read any of Tufo's other work will already understand. He is by far one of the most entertaining authors in the genre. I will forever enjoy following the saga of Michael Talbot and can only the stories continue. The ending of this one really gets into some new and uncharted territory. (well, uncharted to that extent) Needless to say, the next installment should be just as, if not more, interesting.
Mark Tufo has created a world full of characters and stories that I can not get enough of! Unlike most series, I anxiously await the next adventure of Michael Talbott in whichever world he is end.
Good morning all. I just finished reading LF:3. I am once again amazed at the emotions that these books bring out. Another winner for Mark Tufo. The ending got me too. I wasn't expecting that kind. I wish it was longer. I hope the rest of Tufo-universe is enjoying the books as well. Have a great day.
I learned about Mr Tufo from another author whose main character read his books I am a fan for life I didn't think I would like the little offsets from the main Zombie books but I do Mr. Tufo characters are so. Real you find your self gasping crying getting angry and laughing Well done sir well done fan for life
