Janie’s been staying at Tom’s place for a week now. He still hasn’t told her what happened to Katelyn. But at least Janie’s leg is healing.
Tom offers to take Janie to a traveling farmer’s market. But in an attempt to get his Katelyn back, Tom double-crosses Janie instead.
We have another flashback to Carla in Syracuse, New York. Samuel has taken in so many refugees that his domestic shelter is becoming a target.
Juarez and his men take Janie. Janie realizes that her captors are part of a cult. There’s talk of an offering and blood sacrifice. And she happens upon Katelyn.
