While Emma, Warrick, Agha and their allies close in on the secrets of Ozma and the dangers surrounding, Elaine and Ben desperately try to contact her from home, only to find themselves face to face with people possessing abnormal abilities...Melançon and Lavey-Heaton brings more mystery and perils illustrated beautifully for fans of fantasy and literary lore. Even if she succeeds, where will Emma's strange place as a Writer take her next?
I always love reading the print versions of this series. The art is so beautiful that the webcomic just never does it justice. Also so much has happened since these comics first ran, I need the refresher. The Oz parts are the strongest in this story, and it is always a treat to return there.
Very high 3 stars, the art and the characters are endearing. Sometimes I have a tiny bit of problem following the plot because it seems like there are SO MANY characters. I love Warrick to death, though, and I'm a pretty big fan of Elaine and Fred, oh, and the cats from Wonderland are super cool.
This one didn't really have me as interested as the other ones but of course it ends with a lot being unresolved. I would like to know what happens but I probably won't read the next book, at least not for a long time.
As always, Isa and Meg rocked this out of the park. Seriously, this entire series is worth not only reading, but acquiring a copy of the book to keep at home.
