I am an adult learner of modern Greek. I have been looking for texts at my level, where I don't have to look up too many words, to give me a basis for attempting books for adults. This is a wonderful story, which I translated for my Granddaughter, about some children who are worried that their grandmother is going to get wrinkled and dried out - like flowers. Their various attempts to solve the problem are lots of fun, and my granddaughter and I had a good conversation about aging.
What a charming story! It was easy to read, too, aside from a handful of words I didn't already know in Greek. Many thanks to Bonnie for sending me this to read!
