Eight Seconds to Forever is the 5th book in the Men of the Sprawling A Ranch series. It was a very sweet romance. I liked Jack and Melody's story. I thought they were pretty easy to identify with. Melody has pretty much given up on love. She is kind of throwing herself a bit of a pity party after her last dating failure. The guy didn't even bother to show up. Then she has to put on a happy face at a baby shower. Could things get any worse? Jack was her brother's friend so he always had a hands off policy with Melody but he has been dreaming and fantasizing about her more and more lately. When he sees that she is in need of a little help he hold her hair while she throws up and then takes her home. Can he show her that she is worth more than she thinks she is? Can he convince her that he's the guy for her? Will the two of them be able to make things work? or will he be another disappointment in her life? I would recommend this book to others. The chemistry between the two of them is perfect and it's a sweet romance story.

Eight Seconds to Forever was a wonderful book. The story is a perfect romance with all the right plot twist and turns. This is truly a feel good read. I love the characters, the struggles as they figure out what they want in life, and the details. This is definitely a must read.
Melody has had her fair share of bad dates and bad relationships. When one of her close friends gets engaged she is just about to give up. Going on a drunken binge for the night, she dissappears from her friends until her friend, Jack, finds her. Jack thinks she is beautiful, even when she's a drunken mess, and takes care of her. He decides to show her just how desirable she is, but little did they know it would lead to a lot more.

This is a steamy read, a friends to lovers story. All it takes is one kiss to change their relationship. Their journey to an HEA is full of emotions, doubt, and realizations as to what is important, and I could not put it down. Melody is a woman beginning to doubt herself, and Jack shows her differently. As she becomes stronger, Melody sees her future in a better light, and I loved watching her grow. I need to go back and read the rest of the earlier books as the characters that we meet are interesting.

Finally! Two regulars at the Sprawling A Ranch get a story. Jack, who has taken some lumps during this series, and Melody, Mark's little sister. An interesting pairing and a complete surprise. I loved it.
Jack turned out to be as interesting a character as any of the other Sprawling A men. *sigh* Not only is he brave (read crazy) enough to get on the back of a raging bull, but also stand up to big brother, Mark.
As usual, Ms Alexander has written a beautiful story with heart. Well worth the read.

Absolutely wonderful love story! Loved the book! This is about friends to lovers to parents and learning about what one's priorities are in life. Melody had never thought of Jack as a man to date but when he shows her how he looks at her, after all her previous dates came to nothing, she realizes he is someone she can really care about. The fact that he wants to go back to bull riding doesn't make her happy but she and Jack learn to work through to find their HEA. I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily writing a review because I think the book is just that terrific.

This was so sweet and wonderful.. I loved seeing jack and melody's story.. i enjoyed their feelings and emotions.. i enjoyed the issues that showed up as well.. i loved watching them have to work through the bad.. and as individuals grow and then together grow even more.. the chemistry is sweet and this is a fun easy read. i am glad i got to review it

This is a new Author for me . I loved this book . This book grabs you from the first page and will not let go until the last one, very well written. I was gifted a copy but because I liked it so much I also bought it and the rest of the series .
