Extinguished
I sometimes think that the friendship that catches fire romance is harder for a writer to pull off than the strangers that have insta lust at first sight. Especially when you throw in the best friends little sister trope, but "Extinguished" handles this clichéd plot just fine. I think that it helped greatly that the suspense heated up and the focus of the plot wasn't solely on our couple.
Jordyn Bridger is a former Marine who is now working as an ace mechanic. She lost her older brother six months ago and, it seems, she also lost his best friend too after a scorching hot kill the night of the funeral. Now, Blake is back, but not to pick up where he left off, but to offer her a job with Titanium Security. She'll take the job because it intrigues her and to be close to Blake.
Blake Ellis ran from Jordie after her brother's funeral, now he has to face up to the fact he has deep feelings for her and he needs to requite her to the Titanium Security Team. Chasing the terrorist who is determined to destroy Titanium Security leads the Team back to Pakistan and a deadly attack on the Team. Jordie will need to step in and work closely with Blake. Putting these two together forces them to confront their deep feelings and also puts them both is danger.
Rekindled
Solid second chance romance and a good suspense plot, but the best part of this book, and series as a whole, are the action sequences. They are fantastic. Kaylea Cross knows just how to put the reader right in the middle of the action and make them feel everything.
When NSA agent Alex Rycroft catches sight of Dr. Grace Fallon, it was like being dropped through a rabbit hole. Right in the middle of an important manhunt, he can't afford to lose focus, but there is too much unresolved for him to let her go without trying to get to her. Four years is a long time and the time is now.
Dr. Grace Fallon was a victim in a terrorist attack that she survived but lost her trust in a man she loved with all her heart. When she comes face to face with Alex again, she knows that her heart still isn't completely mended. But, how to you face the man who ripped it apart, without it happening again?
Grace is in Pakistan with a UN team there to negotiate with Syria to disarm their chemical weapons. It is important and secret work, career making work. When Alex reappears in her life and tells her that she is in danger, because of him, she just doesn't know what to do. Accepting his protection and being near him is not what she has in mind for this trip. The terrorist Alex is hunting also has a different ending in mind and that is for both Alex and Grace to end up dead.

Kaylea Cross proves, again, why she is one of the best at writing action scenes. I feel like I'm right there in it with the characters. This is one reason why I read her, she is so good at making the reader a part of the action. This book was supposed to be a kind of wrap up of the Titanium Security Series, but it was so much more.
Hail, hail, the gangs all here. They all are gathering at Alex and Grace's newly renovated Victorian in upstate New York for a Christmas reunion. First on the schedule for the fun weekend is a gala for Scotties Foundation, a charity to help veterans reenter civilian life, in New York City. Well, what would a Titanium Security Series book be if something didn't go wrong? It seems that the foundation has made an enemy who is set on revenge.

OMG!
What a rollercoaster ride this box set was! I'll admit I laughed and cried reading these stories. Ms Cross weaves action packed stories. Sorry for them to end, but I've enjoyed it immensely.

Highly recommend!
I can highly recommend this volume II of the Titanium Security Series. It was even better than volume I. Pick up both volume boxed sets you will have hours and hours of suspenseful, action packed military romance.
