Just no

Im sorry but why does this book have such high rating? I read 34% of straight garbage.... I've read some bad wolf books before, but this one takes the cake! Horrible and seriously unbelievable this book is a hot mess. Let me drop some of the ridiculousness of the book down on ya. We meet a princess who feels she has suffered greatly, even this old elder feels the same way, why? Well because she is banished to a certain part of the wing in the palace, lost her nanny, and watches her mates screw other women in visions she has. Yeah granted all this sucks, but we also read how other women in lower rank then this princess alpha are being raped and beaten all the time and then this great injustice this girl feels is a God damn walk in the park. I wasn't sold on her " my life is so sad" " Ive been suffering " theme this book was trying to sell. Anyways moving on, so she finds her one mate and he's a gamma lowest of the lows in the totem pole, So he straight out is like no, this is wrong, this can't be because she's a alpha and he in no shape can stand beside her, so this chick starts crying saying please is it my body, " I know I don't have curves but I can change that, I can eat more" yes she literally says this, to say I'm disgusted is a understatement.... so your telling me a strong alpha said this? What alpha in any life time would have acted like this honestly? it's Unreal! And the point that she said this upset me so freaking much, to change so a man can like you is the most degrading s*** Ive ever read. Now her and this guy get over the hang ups and have sex, and she's like" your so big, it's not going to fit" eyeroll", cheesy smut lines enter here....So this guy ends up dominating her, yeah (huh) my words exactly, ok I'm glad your still with me for this s*** show I'm explaining so I'm going to carry on go with the last thing I read that had me scratching my head and then tossing my kindle down. Ok so where was i..oh yeah, they did the deed and now are chilling in the hotel room and the door just busy opens and the swat come in with machine guns ( eye rolling ) and she's like whoa wtf, so her guard is like orders from the palace and goes to grab her mate, she's like not today and kicks him hard sending him flying and all but then something crazy happens, her wolf takes over feeling their mate is in danger and starts to shift to a hybrid wolf WHAT!!!" come on" that doesn't even make sense!!!!!!!!! Ppl please stop rating books high just because you got a arc, or one of your favorite authors said hey read this I liked it and you will too. You wasting ppls time and money, for Christ sake be honest about garbage like this please!!!!!

Gah, why does this author do this to her fans? Write a book so enthralling that it leaves them mad with frustration that they don’t have the second book in their greedy little hands.

This is me, right at this moment after finishing Trinitity numero uno! I am bereft, I am in mourning, (going for a little pun here) I am the wolf howling into the night sky, heartbroken at the loss even though there’s nothing to lose yet. Except my sanity if the author doesn’t hurry up with the second book.

So to sum up, if you haven’t already guessed, I’m really in love with this book.

At first I found it a little slow, the build up wasn’t as fast paced as I’m used to from this author but I soon got over it. The chemistry between reader and characters was second to none. This author has a way of making her characters relatable in the real world. They have personality traits that are endearing and believable. Yes I know it’s about shifters. But they’re still human too and those are the parts of the character I’m talking about.

Rafe, a gamma wolf, doesn’t believe he’s deserving of a mate like the TriAlpha princess. It’s endearing. However, Thalia has a way of having that belief in Rafe that’s beautiful to read. They’re the perfect couple. However the author doesn’t stop there. Thalia is to have three mates and at the end we’re introduced to another mate, who we really haven’t gotten to know all that much yet, hence my frustration.

I’m so excited to read more about this world. How do PNR writers world build like they do? It amazes me often when a book just takes you away from the reality of everyday life.

Definitely recommend. There’s just no stopping these supernaturals.

Review copy kindly provided by the author in exchange for a honest review

If there is anything that sure going to be popular is a kick ass heroine. There something about heroines who arise above their situations and aren't afraid to take numbers. Trinity definitely embodies this and more. You have to admire her once you learn her story and the fact she isn't crazy despite the situation she is in is crazy. It takes a strong wolf and Trinity shows that time and time again given the unique relationship she finds herself in.
It makes sense she needs to have tri bond and that when it gets interesting. As the way this book is written means for most of the book it reads as MF due to mate uno popping up early It works well given that the world building is need given how the book ends. A lot of this book is establishes the hierarchy and the world surrounding which is key given what we learn. It’s heartbreaking and I think Rafe was perfect for her despite his misgivings It definitely an interesting proposal and Akeroyd uses a different prose then what I associated her with . It doesn’t hurt and whilst it may be one guy. It’s definitely full steam ahead as these two don’t let time pass by.

Knowing the talent of this author and enjoying some of her books previously made me pick up this book with no questions. Whilst I haven't kept up to date with her other books. This series I will be definitely as I have an addiction for anything werewolves. Though I haven't delved too much yet in the RH one due to amount is available. However Trinity is easily one of my favourite RH werewolf novels to dated . I love the concept and it’s an n unique take, there has been plenty of action and now that the second mate has been revealed.
It’s going to be interesting second part as I can’t see Trinity being able to resist him despite things that the blurb hinted. This mate well he makes the last chapters interesting to say the least considering his own history. Well I can only guess until the second book is available and I’m able to devour it .

The start of another great series

This first book is mostly Thalia’s and Rafe’s and has a lot of world building and Thalia’s past to get through before she leaves the palace to kick some ass.

It’s quite long and I’m not a fan of shifter books ( read them to death ) so I found myself getting impatient for a bit of action, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Thalia is so obviously mistreated and Rafe, love him, is all about diplomacy where as I’m like “KICK SOME BUTT!!!!

Her second mate was also a surprise so goodness knows what the third will be. It’s not clear what talents each mate brings despite their low status within Lycan society but we start to see hints of it towards the end of the book. I’ll say no more. I won’t spoil it for you.

I like a book that keeps me guessing the last few chapters flew by and left me wanting to read the second book.

I honestly started reading this book a little skeptical, I had only read contemporary from this author at that point, so it was both nervous and excited. This is without a doubt, the best book Serena Akeroyd has written this far. There was action, mystery, humor, sexiness, a whole range of emotions that, quite frankly, I'm not sure I'm capable of listing. The storyline is unique, the characters are well formed and described, as are the surroundings when appropriate. The paragraphs flow together seamlessly. I cannot find anything to pick apart within this book.

This book is amazing, so totally different then what I've read. The characters are so different, full of life, and some you want to strangle. The author lets you get to know the characters before it goes into the RH part of the story and I feel this made the story even better, thought it made you want to strangle some characters (yes repeating myself). I can't wait for the next book!! You just have to read this!

Superb

This story floored me. I love Serena. I’ve been reading through her backlog ever since I stumbled upon one of her books. I never tire of her style. The way Serena pulls you into a story and delves deep into the magic of the moment is unique. Thalia is an amazing main character, which a beautiful and heart pounding character arc. The story of her life and those around her is woven in seamlessly. This book has it all. It makes your heart ache and race all at once!

Very unique

I like this story. The very first chapter confused me so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm glad I kept reading because this story is very sweet and you can almost feel your self in the characters shoes. Nice done. I'm ready to see what else is in store for the characters.

Holy cow

I read a lot of books. Hundreds a year. Many of them reverse harem like this one. I love the unique take on lycans and humans and how everything comes together. Definitely a hot book with lots of intimate time but a very good story as well.

Definitely a must read!

I loved this story. The character development was amazing, the situation in which Thalia and Rafe met was very emotional and a few times have I cried throughout reading but I’ll do it all over again. Thalia is not only strong physically and emotionally but has overcome situations that most would never manage and has become so resilient instead of weathered. This applies also to Rafe, although he has a few self doubt issues is also so strong! To overcome the fears that led him to the TriAlpha court to begin with, has led him to become his best self. I have mixed feelings about Mikkel right now but his loyalty and caring personality is evident. Even if he won’t admit it yet. I can’t wait to see how this story progresses and who these characters become in the next part of this addictive tale.

Brilliant

This story was engaging and entertaining from start to finish! I fell in love with the head strong heroine from the get go. She has the strength to survive a toxic family that not a lot of people do. Damaged but, not broken. A perfect beginning to an enthusiastic end? I don't know but I sure hope so. Not to mention she gets a man who understands her AND one who is tactical. It was definitely a great start to this series. A cliffhanger that makes you want to know what's next.. let alone who's next.

I love the way Ms. Akeroyd makes her characters come alive. I felt for Thalia like she was a real person. Thalia is a princess but she’s different than everyone else, so her family locked her away. They never believed a thing she said, until an Elder came and told them everything was true. Thalia has three mates and she meets her first one, who helps her to become free from her family. When she meets the second one? Well, he kind of complicates things.
Thalia is an amazing MC and I am rooting for her. I can’t wait for the next book.

Fun, addictive and great!!

I just love all of this authors books. I try so hard not to read them until the series is complete, as they are so addictive, yet I give in every time. This book is just that-super addictive. I wizzed through it in a day, I love a strong female lead, that doesn’t rely on her harem but is made better by them. I love that it’s a paranormal genre that has been done to death, but feels like a whole new idea. Downloading the next already!

The power of the wolf.

This book was very heavily recommended to me and as I finally got around to reading it I realised why, although when I started reading it I wasn't sure whether I was going to agree with my friend's
opinion, but before I'd even finished the first chapter I was hooked, the sex scenes were hotter than hades but there was nothing sleazy in there, the plot is original and thoroughly enjoyable. I can't wait for book two.

I want Thalia as my bff, she's totally awesome!! She may have anger issues, but with the way her life was going I'm surprised she's not loony.

This book was absolutely amazing, one minute you want to hug one of the characters and the next you are cheering as Thalia goes all dominant bad a** b*tch on everyone.

This author always delivers new and original stories that takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. So hurry up and check out this series.

Such a good read

I really enjoyed reading this book. I love an underdog story even though early on you relise they are only underdogs because of their own thought, as soon as they relise you know shits about to get real. I can not wait for the next one and will be totally stalking the author to find out more about the next book and when i can get my hands on it.

This book had me hooked and I couldn’t really tell you why. It’s great world building but definitely low heat. Nevertheless I am here for the long haul. Wanting to know who her next mate will be.

Favorite new RH!

I loved this book, it is different then your typical paranormal RH in many ways. First the MC, while she is technically a princess she's been locked away for many years, because her parents (who need to be slapped silly) believe she is a liar and dangerous. An Elder comes along and confirms what she had been saying her entire life and that she will bring about change. She will have three Mates, we meet Rafe first and he gets some alone time with her, which I find really important because in their world being ranked a Gamma, like Rafe is, is the lowest pack rank. Towards the middle of the Book we meet mate 2 who is human. It makes me wonder who and what mate 3 will be when we meet him in the next book. I adored this book and Can't wait for the next!

Another great book

I love a strong heroine! This one is stronger than most on many levels. Can hardly wait for the next book! Even though, the next book is a continuation of the story, the reader is not left totally hanging. There is enough completion to satisfy and still leave a broad road into the next segment. As mates, Thalia, Rafe and Mikkel, still have a great many issues to work through. Plus there is still one mate missing. There are sure to be a number of tense moments within that family! Serena Akeroyd, I have thoroughly enjoyed your books and look forward to many more!
I do not receive ARC books and do not feel I owe any authors a 5 star rating. They have to earn it!

This book was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed Thalia's story. Her parents thought she was a failure and basically kept her locked away. Afraid of what she could do. Little did they know this would only prove to make her stronger. When an elder comes to the pack and tells them how wrong they are Thalia, finally, is able to see freedom in her future. She meets her first mate which gives her even more courage to fight for the change that needs to come. This story is different from your typical PNR and I couldn't be more excited about

Looking Forward to Book Two

As always, Serena's stories always make me happy. I love Thalia and Rafe. I'm looking forward to getting to know Mikkel better. I have a feeling the third mate will cause a ruckus. I'm really looking forward to see Thalia make a place for herself and her mates.

Awesome!

Love a strong female MC and Thalia is totally that. Her life has been a huge struggle being exiled from her family and tortured by visions of her mates with other females. I really like how her mates have depth and issues and not just arm candy. Can’t wait for the next book!

Excellent...

A kickass female with an agenda to complete, and hunky guys by her side while she does so... what's not to like?!
This is well written with flowing changes in the POV that pull you in, until suddenly you've finished the book. Looking forward to the next in the series.

An excellent read from start to finish. Really looking forward to the next installment. Not the typical alpha hero. The alpha is the heroine and her mates so far have surprised me but I love them all the same.

This is a very slow-burn reverse harem, which has so much more than romance to offer.

Thalia is the daughter to high-ranking pack leaders. Unfortunately, she was born a female and as a single child. Shunned also thanks to her strange powers, she's been locked away from everyone for years. When a seer comes and explains to her fathers that they've made a huge mistake and she might be the pack's salvation, it appears that things might get better. Still, if Thalia is to take her place at the head of the pack, she must mature and find her true strength. That includes finding the three mates, which will make up the next tri-leadership.

Thalia's situation demands attention from the very first page. She's been treated horribly and still, has maintained her spunk and dreams. In other words, she's a pain in the neck to her three fathers. While this concept of three fathers never rang quite clear with me, it does give a new twist to the pack world. It also lays the basis for Thalia's quest to find three mates. However, in this book, she only has one thing in mind—to gain her freedom and prove she's much more than thought. It's this desire which propels the tale and keeps it exciting from one page to the next.

The romance end is instant love (which is explained by the entire 'true' mate thing). While I'm not a huge fan of this type of romance, it stays interesting enough to keep one from laying the book down. The 'mate' is the opposite of what he should be, but there's already hints at how everything will slide together. The author has built in a bit of depth, which will be interesting to watch as the series continues. And if book two is anything like book one, it will be worth reading.

Thalia Lyndhoven Ia a Pack Princess, but because her father’s thought she was a freak, she's has been exiled to her wing in the palace. She has been alone for years. An Elder visits and reveals that Thalia will have three mates, be the catalyst for change the pack needs and rule one day. Now she has to go from being in solitude to being a leader and to do that she must find her mates and somehow prove her worth.

This is book one of the TriAlpha Chronicles and is a paranormal, romance, reverse harem saga set in the world of the wolf shifters. It is an interestingly look at the hierarchy of the shifter world. The rights and status decided at birth. It makes me think about the injustices that occur in our world as we base worth on people by socioeconomic status, race, religion and so much more. In this book the heroine is fighting for those who have no voice. She is a strong female leader but is not perfect. In fact all the characters are well crafted with defined personalities complete with strengths and weakness. The storyline flows smoothly and is filled with action, romance and heartache. The narrative is told from different characters point of view and allows the reader to get to know the character better and understand their feelings, insecurities and motivations. What I liked the most was how Thalia changed with the addition of her mate and how they complimented each other in deep and meaningful ways. This is just the first book in the saga but it is definitely worth reading. I can not wait to see how the story continues.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I first came to know of Serena in her RH series Quintessence and I fell in love with the characters and story. So I figured her creativity and writing style would continue in this series, but I honestly wasn’t sure once I read some of the reviews. Most raved but a few painted this first book so poorly. Here’s the thing, in the world of RH, this series was fantastic! If you start out and think Thalia is ignorant at first or even “whiny, why wouldn’t she be? That’s the beauty in this story, as plot lines and secrets are revealed you begin to see how Serena allowed the characters to grow and mature and for the reader to understand why their flaws existed. But I honestly never understood the poor ratings. And I read a lot of books...maybe not “high literature but around 500 a year. Enough to say when a book or series is good enough to not only pass the time, but thoroughly enjoy and come to love the characters. And as much as I enjoy the steamy scenes, her books can stand on their own without them. The story is intriguing and after reading a lot of paranormal RH I still could easily enjoy these books. What I appreciated was that the books were long enough to bring in many characters, their POVs and multiple story arch’s. Well done Serena!
Go read this series today! And if you for some reason find yourself frustrated with the characters in the beginning (I didn’t, but maybe some will) keep reading: there is so much to come! Don’t be steered away as I almost was. Thalia has so much love to offer and your heart will break for her and rage against the injustices!

ONE ENTHRALLING WONDER!!!
Lock and load baby, lock and load! All the angst, suspense and speculation along with all that drama and intrigue go hand-in-hand. Throw in a little danger and you have one page flipping, prize winning delight that launch this gem to a whole new level. One non-stop, action packed, heart pounding, page flipping adventure that hooks you from the start and reels you in for the duration. One spinning vortex along with a multitude of all the trials and tribulations that propels those swirling emotions bursting into play front and center. Perilous drama, adversity, intrigue, unnerving danger and electrifying suspense take you on one thrilling adventure. The characters are original, tangible and authentic with just enough flaws to add a little spice to the mix. Their personalities are genuine with qualities and traits that balances out perfectly. The scenes are so detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion you're right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Awesome job Serena, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
