Quinn Valley Ranch #3

Scented Sensibility

Rate this book
Lindy Harris quit her job at River's End Ranch to go back to her roots in Quinn Valley. Her aunt, Celeste, has injured her back, and Lindy will run her shop while she recovers. It means that Lindy will have to put school on hold for a while, but after everything Celeste has done for her - helping her move on after an attack and giving her a place to live - Lindy doesn't mind the sacrifice in the slightest.

Alan Murray has been driving this particular UPS route for about six months, and he's made good friends with many of his customers, including Celeste. She tells him he needs to meet her beautiful niece, but he's not interested in being set up on yet another blind date. When he meets that beautiful niece, though, he changes his mind pretty quickly.

Lindy isn't sure who she can trust anymore, but Alan proves to her that good still exists in the world, and that true love isn't reserved just for fairy tales . . . or Jane Austen novels.

About the author

Amelia C. Adams

Amelia C. Adams is a wife, a mother, and a novelist. She spends her days dreaming up stories and her nights writing them down. Her biggest hero is her husband, and you might just see bits and pieces of him as you read her novels.

She loves all things historical and enjoys learning about days gone by, but she's glad she was born more recently (she won't say how recently or not recently) because the Internet is awesome, and she's glad she doesn't have to wash her clothes by hand in a galvanized tub. She has hit Amazon bestseller status twice, once for A Clean Slate and once for A Clear Hope.

A quick fast romance that had me turning page after page unable to stop reading. I loved the romance between Lindy and Alan. A book that is not only a good romantic story but also touches on the real issue of rape and sexual assault on women. I loved the characters and the story line. I would love to go spend time in Quinn Valley.

I’ve enjoyed Amelia C. Adams stories across many genres. She’s an author that delivers a very good story with realistic characters and often touches on real-life subjects that need to be acknowledged that they even exist. An author who can spin real life into her created world so seamlessly is a true gem. Because this message is only slightly touched upon in the cover description I feel I need to be careful to not give away spoilers yet, this is a message that women and men need to hear loud and clear.

Lindy is a sweet soul with a kind heart and a history that isn’t all fairy tales and roses. She’s been through very difficult life experiences and her Aunt Celeste was there at her side helping her through the rough times. Now that Celeste has severely injured her back it’s time for Lindy to lend her a hand in return. Returning to Quinn Valley opens up some “what ifs in her mind concerning an old high school crush what she didn’t expect was for the new UPS driver in town to turn her head and her heart so quickly.

I would love to talk about SCENTED SENSIBILITY a lot but feel that I really can’t without saying too much. So, this is a romance that touched my heart, angered me on many levels at the reality, and brought two people together that really compliment and balance each other in all the right ways. Secondary characters are always important to me and we meet some people that I hope will find their healing and romance in Quinn Valley at some point. In all, this is a sweet romance with a powerful message delivered with honesty and style. If you love a good Romance then you’ll want to check out this story and this series.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

This is a really good story and one the part of the subject theme needed to be told and expanded on. It is really wonderful story about love and redemption and forgiveness and gaining trust and confidence and finding one’s self again after trauma.
This is the third story in the new Quinn Valley series by multiple authors and the first I have had a chance to read.
I highly recommend this story because of the qualities and great storying telling and the characterization of the heroine and hero and also other characters.
A job well done by this author.

I loved this book. Amelia Adams is one of my favorite authors of all time. I read this book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. I adored all of the River's End Ranch books, and now I adore this new series set in Quinn Valley. Lindy goes to stay with her aunt, who is injured, to care for her and run her aunt's shop. Along the way, she meets her High School crush, and the UPS driver, Alan. There are some real issues addressed with kindness and compassion by Amelia. She is a generous and loving soul, and I read her books over and over.

Another outstanding book in this great series!

Amelia is a fantastic author, her characters are so real and have some incredible adventures. It was so sweet to see the story unfold and have a front row seat to the relationships that are starting to develop.

Amelia knows how to weave the story into a
Book you won’t want to put down. She takes you on a journey of twists and turns!

Scented Sensibility

Wonderful second book in the series. Loved Alan the UPS driver. Lindy is back in Quinn Valley to help take care of her aunt and take care of her shop. Where she meets the new UPS driver. The one she can't get out of her mind.
I loved the title of this book. I thought the name was for one reason and when I got closer to the end I realized just why it was named.

Great stiryt

Alan and Lindy.. This book dealt with a very difficult subject line but I believe Amelia Adams handled it very well. Mindy has had a crush on Dusty since high school and he finally, actually asked her out on a date. But she went out on a date with Alan first. Oh man, was he great. He was great and then he got hurt helping to defend her friend, Trix. Then Dusty came by for their date and Alan was sitting there in the shop helping her. Great story. A must read.

Fears conquered by love

Where do I start? As usual, Amelia Adams has used her unique ability to wrap a story around a legitimate problem with just the right touch to keep you enthralled while giving a good deal of thought to the issue. In the year of women stepping up to say "me too", this book is a perfect fit.

Her Essential Man

Lindy has returned to Quinn Valley to take care of her aunt. She wasn't expecting to find the UPS driver to be good looking or to constantly have him in her thoughts. When he steps in to defend another woman at a bar, she immediately decided he is a good man to get to know ~
