To be honest the villian (ederic) should have won
I dont know about anybody else but i was hoping ed would win i mean he was the main MC who wouldn't want the MC to win weather he was good or bad the ending was to fatalistic and that betrayal at the the end by laya or whatever the pixie dungeon name was. Was messed up i skimmed through some of the book but i went back and didnt find a time were ed actually tortured her so WHAT THE FUCK PIXIE anyway if your going to make your MC the villian in the book then you the auther should at least make so nobody wins like maybe ed blew up the entire dungeon since he was going to die anyway ooooooor MAKE THE GODDAMN MC WIN THE CONCLUSION IN THE BOOK OTHERWISE I LOOKS LIKE I THE EFFORT ED DID AND WHAT WE THE READER READ MEANS NOTHING BECAUSE THE MC IS DEAD PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS THE NEXT TIME YOU CHOOSE A VILLAN FOR THE STORY

Short, and exciting, predictable, and with an ending that will leave a sour taste�
You can finish this entire series in a few hours over the course of an afternoon. However, I don’t really suggest that you do� For a dark themed novel it’s a fairly big letdown. More of just an authors way to write some sex into a story and publish it than anything else. Through the course of the series we follow our main character as he has his dreams crushed, she is the girl he wants completely ignore him, becomes something he doesn’t want to be, the effectively thrown in prison, his only companion deceived him, and you expect anything other than him going insane? In the end he is put down just like the dog in the first book. Avoid the series at all costs�

Meh!
I only finished this series cause I hate leaving a series unfinished. If im reading a grim dark dungeon novel the payoff is in the bad guy winning. The ending to this is just week. Not surprising considering all the victim opressor narative leading up to this. Never reading this author again.

Hmmm.. Could the torture mentioned by the pixie be the extreme sex play that the MC got into.. I mean the spanking he did that was pretty much torture. Not my favorite series int he Dungeon Core genre but it was interesting at least.

MC is a dumb@ss
Well written but and unsatisfying read. The MC is at best a myopic dumb@ss, at worst a whinny, self centred, hypocritical POS. Skip to the last 2 chapters in book 4 and save some time.

bit strange, the ending was both inevitable and naff but the story leading up to it was great, and hey at least he got everythign he wanted in the end....

The ending is horrible. Makes the whole series pointless. Makes me hesitate getting invested in his other series.

Nasty MC, and not in a "fun" way. I think that effected my rating, as I really didn't like him. I read this far (books were short after all) in the hope that he would evolve some redeeming features, but no dice.
