The first time I met Dustin LeBlanc, I wanted to slap him. Young, rich, handsome, and talking smack about my profession, he was the walking stereotype of a speak-before-I-think hockey player.
The second time I met him, I was sad and he made me smile.
The third time, we got married.

I couldn’t put my kindle down when it came to Dustin and his Cat. If you’re looking for a lighthearted rom-com then you’ll enjoy this book. Seeing these two individuals take a path that can either make or break them both will have you on edge but leave it up to Dustin to have you laughing at his antics and views on things. The turn this story takes has my jumping up and down I just couldn’t believe what I was reading. We’re given a hockey romance and a story that doesn’t stay in Vegas.

Dustin is panty dropping sexy hot. He is a cocky, confident hockey player with a wicked imagination. At first you think he is your typical caveman player, but there is more to him than meets the eye. He has a caring, loving side that we get to experience.
Cat is an intelligent oncology doctor who gives off the vibe of being proper and conventional. She also has a racy side that Dustin knew was hidden behind her prim façade. It was a delight to see him draw out her naughtiness. The humor between them was cleverly written by Mickey Miller.
I loved the two of them together as they stumble and discover their true feelings for each other. I would highly recommend their story.

I loved this book so much. The story has a wonderful balance of sweet and funny and emotional and timely. Cat and Dustin are both very likable and complex characters. I liked how they each brought hidden depths to light in the other. When big issues arise for these two, they decide a marriage of convenience is the answer to their problems. I loved how different these two were and the amazing chemistry they had. There is drama, emotional tension, heat, humor and twists along the way as a simple deal becomes so much more. Heartfelt and delightful! This is my honest, voluntary review.

Ok. This is my favorite of Mickey Miller's to date! Of course I say that about all of his, but this one was amazing!! These two characters were just perfect together!
Catarina Vidal has a problem. Her work visa has expired and she's on the cusp of being deported. Dustin LeBlanc has a problem. His loose-canon behavior on the ice, and his bad-boy image have him on the cusp of being traded. After a rocky start at their first meeting, a plan is formed. One that could solve both of their problems in one fell swoop. Get married. Marrying him would solve her visa issues. Marrying her would improve his public image. It's a win-win situation.
But can they fake it well enough to fool his team owner, and her immigration investigator? They'll have to learn everything about each other to make this work. Failure could mean jail time. But, as they spend more time together, and learn more about each other, the line between fake and real becomes blurred. No , not blurred - GONE. They're truly in love but there's someone out there that won't let them have their happy ever after. Will their love be enough to get them through when their lie is exposed? An unexpected twist in their love story might prove it was never a lie to begin with.

My favourite Mickey Miller book to date. An atypical sports romance. The male main character is a hockey player but the main focus of the plot line is a doctor facing deportation. Dr. Caterina Vidal (I’m sure she has great hair) can’t generally usually stand the sight of cocky, entitled Dustin LeBlanc but sees a different side to him when they continually bump into each other at a charity fundraiser. When he hears about her troubles with immigration, he suggests a marriage of convenience that would be mutually beneficial to her as well as to him. Cat would get to stay in the country and continue treating her patients, while Dustin would be seen as starting to settle down and probably not be traded to another team by their decrepit owner. What could possibly go wrong?
Well, a lot, as it turns out. They are scrutinized more carefully than usual by the government and their friends don’t initially believe the marriage is for real. It isn’t, but Cat and Dustin decide to go all in right from the start. All the better to fool the government with, because they tend to frown on fraud. Past relationships, as well as some other situations, also throw some wrenches into the works.
This book is super funny, and super hot, in the usual Miller style but doesn’t hit all the usual marks along the way. The story takes some unexpected twists and turns, and is all the better for it. I highly recommend this fun, sexy read.

4 1/2 stars. This was a super fun, sexy and enjoyable read. I think it may be one of my faves from this author to date. Dustin and Catarina (Cat) are both wonderful characters who have sides to them that get peeled back like layers of an onion throughout the story. I love that about them and how it really adds to their relationship and the story as a whole. There are so many funny moments that are completely balanced out by tender ones and that is just a part of what makes their story full of all the things I love in a romance! A playboy hockey player on the verge of being traded due to his antics and an oncology doctor with visa issues from Spain, may be the unlikeliest of couples, but with a chemistry like theirs, there was no way to prevent the sparks from flying. Bustin Dustin and Kit Cat forever!
I did not see that awesome twist at the end coming at all. It really added to the uniqueness of this story. I loved it!

Puckboy was a lot of fun! We have two people who meet by chance. Dustin needs to change his image and Caterina’s visa is about to expire. If they fake a marriage, will it help both of them with their situations or will they really fall in love?
Puckboy was light and entertaining. The characters have incredible steamy chemistry and fantastic banter. Mickey’s books are always easy to read and Puckboy was no different. I laughed, I smiled, I swooned and I really enjoyed this story!

What do you get when you mix a beautiful physician who's visa is about to run out with a gorgeous athlete who happens to also be a playboy in need of an image repolishing? Like the saying goes, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Or does it? Once again, Mickey knocks it out of the ballpark.

What a fun read. We meet Mr Hockey Dustin and Catalina where they meet in Vegas. Cat just found out her Visa is expired and has to go back to Spain..Dustin has been suspended for all the trouble he has caused in his hockey team. They meet in an elevator and he can't stop thinking of her..after too many drinks they elope but will it all work out.. Read this and you will love the fun banter between these two fun characters!

Catarina es una doctora española, que vive en Estados Unidos hace como diez años, cuando por un cambio en la legislación, es amenazada con ser deportada. Dustin es un jugador de hockey con una muy mala reputación, que se ve expuesto a ser enviado a otro equipo (lo cual no le parece nada bien). Se conocen en una convención acerca del cáncer y es odio a primera vista. Pero luego, la segunda vez que se encuentran, son capaces de llevar una conversación lo suficientemente civilizada. Y la química aparece. La tercera vez, ambos ebrios, llegan a la conclusión de que la solución a todos sus problemas es casarse (por si acaso, están en Las Vegas, tierra de los matrimonios con un evidente vicio de nulidad por falta de consentimiento). Por supuesto, al día siguiente, se despiertan con que el video de su matrimonio es viral y son trending topic en Twitter. Después de pensarlo un poco, con más calma, se dan cuenta de que divorciarse (o pedir la nulidad) sólo va a perjudicarlos más, así que deciden seguir con la farsa.

Puckboy by Mickey Miller was such a fun read! Full of witty banter, great characters and so many laughs, I truly enjoyed reading this book. When Dustin needs to change his image fast, what is a guy to do? Caterina fears being deported as her visa is nearing its end. So why not get married and help each other, right? What can possibly go wrong?
Dustin and Caterina have amazing chemistry and will draw you in from the start. You know things are never as easy as you imagine, so seeing them maneuver a fake marriage while dealing with very real desire is not easy! When they need to prove their marriage is, indeed, real, can they truly fake it? As they spend more time together and get to know each other, the more they fall. This was a great read that had me laughing and giving me all the best feels!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. What a great read. I loved Dustin and Cat. Dustin is a playboy and a hockey player; whose image needs a little cleaning up and when he meets Cat he thinks she’s just the person for the job. They need each other and
what starts off as innocent turns into something more, but can they come out on top of all the lies they’ve told everyone? The chemistry between them is off the charts hot and they are deliciously steamy. There’s a twist you won’t see coming and if you do, good for you! Loved the book, no spoilers from me, highly recommend it.

A fast-moving read with admirable characters, phenomenal humor, intoxicating passionate romance, and fabulous breathtaking scene descriptions. A spectacular conclusion left me content and wanting more.
Dustin and Catarina are in Las Vegas for a Cancer Charity event. Women fawn over the well-built hockey player. His quick-witted persona can be sarcastic at times. Catarina is respected among her peers but faces deportation when her visa expires. Dustin is in hot water with the owner of the hockey team. His coach gives him a few ultimatums to stay on the team; one is to get a nice respectable girlfriend. Fiery desires burn between them so they take the plunge in a Chapel of love. They face a few hurdles before reaching their happiness.

Absolutely loved this book! It is one of my top reads by Mickey Miller. The fact that Catarina was from Spain was great. I went there last year so I was able to relate when she explained the culture of the Catalonia. This book had a great story line full of twists and turns as well as hot and steamy chemistry between Dustin and Cat. The nicknames Dustin has for Cat are so cute! The fact that Dustin and Cat had such a strong connection was amazing. Of course all comes to light for them towards the end. I loved the way Mickey Miller was able to weave little Easter eggs into the story. For instance when Cat down loads a book to read on her kindle and says the author is her go to author! Won't say who the author is you will have to read the book to find out. Genius! All in all this was a great feel good read and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Wonderful HEA! Can't wait for another amazing read from Mickey.

I really loved this story. Mickey really knows how to bring you into the story and make the characters real. You become invested in the couple. You will want to root for Dustin and Catarina. It all starts in elevator in a Vegas hotel where the characters are there for a charity event for Cancer. You know what they say, What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas but in this case, it won't. It is going to travel to Chicago and DC where the characters live. These characters have obstacles that are brought into their lives between immigration (Catarina) and bad publicity (Dustin) that they need to help each other with. These obstacles as well as a couple others can jeopardize their future. It is up to them to allow it to rule them or fight for what they believe in. Will they get their HEA? You will have to read the book and see. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to read what is next from Mickey.

This story is absolutely amazing!! ❤️ 🏒 Hockey player Dustin and Catarina “Cat� were literally a match made in heaven. Off the charts. Wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. I love the fact that it starts off that he is a major player. This book had me laughing in some parts and also has some major feels so get ready.

What do you get when you combine a hockey player and an oncologist....an absolutely enjoyable read. Filled with suspensions, immigration and true love this is once Mickey Miller does not disappoint. The reader instantly falls in love with Dustin and Cat and so want them to get their HEA, but will the lies they told the world hold up or will a love affair that they both lost in college be the one thing that unites them forever? With a storyline that I could not put down this is a must read.

This book was sensational! Mickey always has a way of drawing me into the story. I was hooked from first page to the last. I loved the connection between the characters. You could feel the chemistry between Dustin and Catarina. Dustin is a sexy hockey player, and needs to clean up his image; and Cat is about to get deported, because her visa has expired. They decide to get married and help each other out. I loved seeing the relationship bloom between the characters. This was a fun, sexy, steamy romance. I recommend this book to everyone. Another 5 star read by Mickey Miller!!

Dustin LeBlanc lives to play hockey in his hometown of Chicago. He leaves it all out on the ice. But his fighting on the ice combined with his very public playboy image has the owner looking to make a trade. In order to save himself, Dustin needs to clean up his image and fast. Heading to Vegas to volunteer at the Cancer Sucks Convention sounds like a great idea to him, and maybe he can have a bit of fun as well.
Caterina Vidal is one of the top Oncology specialists in the United States, but she is about to be deported because her work visa was not renewed. With only a few days left in the country, she heads to Vegas as a guest speaker for the Cancer Sucks Convention. And, while she’s there, she plans on having a last hurrah, since you only live once and she’s about to be deported back to Spain until her visa can be renewed.
When they first meet, Cat’s ready to slap Dustin for his condescending attitude towards doctors and his stereotypical bad boy athlete behaviors. Then, a few hours later, when he sees her alone at the bar and feeling down, Dustin makes her smile and proposes an idea meant to save both of their careers . . . . a fake marriage to secure Cat’s visa and to get Dustin some positive press. WHat could possibly go wrong?
Now they are married and need to prove to everyone their marriage isn’t a fraud or not only can they face jail time and fines, but Cat will be deported and Dustin traded. I was thrilled to see Mickey miller taking on another sports romance and super excited he decided to tackle the ice this time! What I loved most about this book were the characters. Both Dustin and Cat were so much deeper than the personas they show the public and I loved as they both had to strip back their layers more and more as they got to really know one another. Their chemistry was off the charts hot from the start, but watching them actually fall for one another past their plan of a sham marriage was really special.
I loved that both Cat and Dustin failed at prior relationships due to events from their pasts that shaped their present and the more I learned about both, the more I wanted them to find a way to get to their HEA in spite of the craziness that Dustin’s management and the US Immigration office threw at them.
Puckboy was crazy hot and intense, laugh out loud funny and sweet a can be all rolled into a tale of romance about the queen of ice who needed the king of fire to melt her heart. 5 stars!

Now this book is amazing! Mr Miller has hit it right out of the ice rink! This book had me captivated as soon as I read that first page. When I read the blurb I thought it was going to be another arranged marriage type books where you know exactly what will happen, but no, Mr Miller made sure it was nothing like those! I just enjoyed read this book so much.
Dustin is a famous hockey player, some might say he is the bad boy of hockey. He can come across as a bit of an A$@ but I found him to be a sweetheart. I really loved his character.
Cat is a doctor. She is sassy, she is smart and she knows how to hold her own. She is definitely one of my favourite heroines ever, from any book. These two together are HOT! The steam level is high when they are together.
I laughed quite a bit through this book. Especially about the bunny suit hanging in the closet. I can't wait to read more from Mr Miller!!

Mickey Miller, the king of slow burn, is back with "Puckboy", a funny and very sexy rom com that will have you laughing one minute and brings tears to your eyes the next. The story of Dustin and Cat is one for the books. She is an immigrant facing deportation due to a glitch and he is the party boy that is looking for a good time. When their paths cross in Las Vegas the wheels start turning and out of a drunken idea they find themselves married. What first is a marriage of convenience quickly turns into reality for Cat and Dustin. Their happiness is overclouded by a clingy woman that can't let go and wants him for herself and an incident from the past that they both can't let go off. They both suffered heartbreak and have a hard time to express their true feelings despite their incredible chemistry. When things turn for the worst and the past suddenly comes back to light Dustin is ready to fight for Cat and his happiness no matter what it takes.
Mickey Miller never disappoints with his books and he delivers every single time. The storyline is always on point and never rushed, the characters are well developed and relatable and the slow burn will drive you crazy lol. This is truly a great book and I can only highly recommend it.

Puckboy is not your normal hockey romance story. Nope not even close. Mickey adds so much more to this story and will have you falling for Dustin and Cat through and through. This page turned had me hooked and not ready for it to end. I had to find out if these two would get their HEA. I love sport romance books, but Mickey hits the goal with Puckboy!
Dustin is what I needed. Arrogant, cocky, and a whole lotta sexy! Mix that with a strong, bold, and sassy heroine and sparks fly! The drama of trying to make it through their marriage up to fighting through their past. This heart stopper will have you wondering what will happen next! I love this story and recommend you read it ASAP!

One of my favorite books so far by Mickey Miller.
This story is so good you have the sexy 🏒 Hockey player Dustin and Cat is a beautiful 👩⚕� hardworking, intelligent oncology physician the two of them both have their issues they are working through. What happens when you put the two together Catarina's via is about to go out and Dustin in need of some good pr to clean up his tough playboy act. You get one hot story.
Cat and Dustin is a hot rom com these two are a match made in heaven. Their chance encounter in Vegas. Their plan for a fake marriage arraignment brings a challenge to both of them. With out giving away to much info because this book is a must read.

As with all of Mickey Miller’s books, this tale did not disappoint. It begins with the threat of deportation on one hand, and a possible hockey trade that will end the Stanley Cup dreams of another d/t behavior on and off the ice. Catarina and Dustin meet up in Vegas at a Cancer convention, where she is an MD set to speak and he is a hockey player trying to repair his reputation in the public eye. What comes next is a series of bad decisions, snap-chatted out to the social media masses. But, could this really be the best decision they ever made? What happens when the feelings become real, but there is still someone trying to undo their happiness? Will Catarina and Dustin run away from their feelings or will they take a chance and run to each other? Fate has a funny way of making things work in the end. And that’s all I’ll say on the subject, other than definitely give this book a chance if you love a good rom-com with a HEA!

I love a great sports romance and this one definitely captured my attention from start to finish. Dustin is a famous hockey player who is struggling to keep his image intact as well as his spot on the team. A solution appears in the form of a beautiful oncologist named Cat, who will also benefit from a mutually exclusive arrangement as she is currently facing visa issues and is being threatened of deportation.
Lucky Vegas is the place to solve all life's big issues, one fake marriage later and shazam! No more drama. Or so they thought. There are always hidden agendas, skeletons in the closet and frenemies trying to sabotage and expose them at every turn. A great plot twist or two and this had me hooked from the get go. I guarantee you will love Dustin and Cat's fake it till you make it relationship. I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC and this is my honest review.

Fate works in mysterious ways...
Mickey knocked this one out of the park!! Ok, mixing my sports metaphors up, but I know baseball better than hockey. Lol. Catrina is a brilliant doctor with a visa issue and Dustin is a hot, rambunctious hockey player with a PR issue. When they meet in Vegas things get interesting. And by interesting I mean what happens in Vegas certainly doesn't stay in Vegas. I FLOVED it! Their 'fake' marriage is definitely more than a trick. Cat is smart, sexy, full of heart, and sweet. Dustin is so much more than the thuggy, manwhore the press paint him as. And the surprise twist!! Love, love, love! This story has heart, humor, and heat! All the things I love in Mickey's books! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

WOW! This has to be one of my favorite Mickey Miller books. Not taking away from TCE, but darnit, it is amazing. Had me glued from page 1. This is that book that will make you late for work or anything that you may have planned. I loved Dust and Cat! This story literally took me on an emotional roller coaster. This was a RomCom. I do not care what anyone says, this book had me dying from laughter.

I had so much fun reading this book. The characters were amazing, the plot was beyond entertaining and the ending was such an unexpected turn, it just blew me away. Dustin is such a great character. He is for sure one of my favourite asshole-ish yet hilarious characters from Mickey Miller.
I couldn't stop thinking how much Mickey Miller has evolve in his craft and how this all ends up being translated into such wonderful stories that build and spike your interest so much you keep turning pages over and over again. Readers will literally be unable to put this down. Kudos to the author for this book.
