Not Without My Children

Rate this book
Marcie Malone was a 29 year-old single mother of six small children in 1960's Detroit. The Charles Terrace Housing Projects was a place with many single mothers but for Marcie, it was especially tough living as a single mom that was a minority in a tough neighborhood. Most women in these housing projects were low income, divorced, widowed and most with children as was the Malone family. When Marcie first moved into the projects she was married to Sam Malone and times weren't always the happiest or the easiest when she started being abused both mentally and physically. Things finally came to a head when on top of the domestic violence that she endured for several years, eventually turned against her young innocent children.
