He can’t stand her, and best believe, the feeling is mutual.
Her life is the complete opposite of what he desires.
So, why can’t they keep their hands off each other?

Forrest Nash is a smug know-it-all. With his brains, ridiculous good looks and penchant for disobeying the laws of both the police and the dark web, Fawn Hill’s resident genius is cockier than any man Penelope Briggs has ever encountered. It doesn’t help that their six-year age difference makes him completely ineligible in her eyes. Add in the fact that he doesn’t want marriage or babies, and that should eliminate him from the dating pool forever. But it doesn’t mean she can’t sleep with him. Once. Or twice. Or ten times. Against all logic, though, Forrest seems to be sneaking into her heart at the same time he’s sneaking into her bed.

Penelope Briggs is one bossy, obnoxious woman. With three young children, a calendar full of school drop-offs and sports, and enough emotional baggage to fill an airplane, this widow is definitely not what Forrest Nash is looking for. And yet, he can’t get enough of the maddening bombshell. But as their hook-ups become a constant, so does his involvement in Penelope’s life. The things he swore he never wanted, love and kids, seem to be the only things on his mind. And when an attack from his part of the cyber world threatens her safety, he’ll have to admit his feelings for the woman he’d do anything to protect.

What started as a convenient friends-with-benefits situation is quickly growing wings. Even if both parties are trying hard to ignore the flutter.

Author of romance novels such as Fleeting and Love at First Fight, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. Her stories are fueled by vanilla lattes, meloncholy music, and copious amounts of candles.

When she isn't writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in farm country with her husband, two children and ninety-pound rescue pup.

My Review:

This was a quick and entertaining read full of steam and humor, but I was initially hesitant to pick it up as I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to enjoy a story featuring the insufferable Forrest, as his personality didn’t come off well in the previous books. I thought Forrest was undeniably arrogant, obnoxious, and distant, and had enabled his addicted twin brother. Silly me, I ended up enjoying and caring more for Forrest than I did for Penelope, as he was really the sweeter and deeper of the two. The storylines were well balanced between angst, levity, and scorching hot sensual scenes this couple was combustible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Fantastic Feel Good Stars!

Gah! I'm not even going to pretend that I am anything but a huge Carrie Aarons fan girl! She seems to know exactly what I like in a romance, and she nails it for me every single time. Flutter was everything I was hoping for and more. It was so romantic, so swoony and so incredibly sexy!

Forrest Nash is a single guy who lives a pretty carefree life. He has never had any interest in getting married or having kids. He's a bit of a nerd who prefers sitting behind a computer and using his hacker skills for the greater good. Penelope Briggs is a school nurse who is strong, sassy, bossy and downright funny. She lost her husband in the war and is doing the best that she can raising three young boys on her own.

Forrest has lusted after Penelope since he was a young boy. Unfortunately, he was not an option for her due to a six year age gap. But on the night of his big brother's wedding, the two of them finally end up doing the deed. And one time leads to multiple times as the two can't seem to keep their hands off of each other. These two have some explosive chemistry so it's no wonder that they soon develop feelings. But they decide to keep it on the down-low for now. Only that plan quickly crumbles as her safety is threatened, and he is forced to do everything in his power to protect her.

Forrest and Penelope's story was epic! Their fiery relationship absolutely burned up the pages. This author is wildly creative as she always finds something interesting and fun that makes each of her couples extremely unique. And everything that I love in a romance was here, all wrapped up into a fabulously well written package. The plot was both entertaining and exciting. The whirlwind of events had me completely captivated and furiously turning the pages. If you're looking for a story about love that's not always easy, make sure to pick this book up. I loved every single word that I read. Carrie Aarons will always be one of my favorite authors because nobody delivers books like this but her.

Five stars for Penelope and Forrest !!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I'm so sad that I didn't read the first two books from this series, but that didn't matter for my reading this book, because this one is standalone, and you can read it without reading the first two.

But that doesn't mean that I will not read them 😉.

I really fell in love with Penelope's and Forrest's love story. They both broken on some way, but together their little imperfections disappeared.

Penelope showed that even you lose your love of life it doesn't mean that you don't deserve another chance and the second love that will be with her till the end of life.

Forrest is one of my favorite male characters. At first, he was one more guy who didn't care about anything but himself.

And then everything changed...

He became the man that nobody expected only because of Penelope.

I highly recommended this book and can't wait to start reading the next one in this series 😍!!!

Carrie has a knack for making you feel all the things when you read and Flutter is just another example of that. The drama in Flutter is true to real life, touching on dating after the loss of a partner, being a single mom, family arguments, age gap, and your usual small town gossip. Forrest Nash is the genius of the Nash brothers, his tendencies to be socially awkward have landed him the spot of being the one most oft picked on, the one they don't take serious, the one they don't see settling down. He may be a cop, one everyone trusts, but he's always been the younger guy. His feelings have been bottled up for too long though and a friends-with-benefits situation puts him in the position of falling for the woman least available. Penelope is the do-it-all single mom, she doesn't let anything hold her back, even when her heart just wants to mourn the loss of her husband. She doesn't have time for feelings, especially not for the handsome as sin, sarcastic Forrest, but he keeps doing the unexpected. What starts as quickies when they can soon turns into this gray area of dating, but when Forrest is put on a sensitive security job it's no surprise that the genius in everything but feelings let's things explode.

I wasn't sure I'd like Forrest, he is so cocky and always sarcastic, but like always Carrie shows us the heart within the characters. He's a good guy, really a teddy-bear, he's just been stomped on so often. I felt for him and, like everyone, I cheered when Penelope finally gave him a chance. Penelope presents herself as strong all the time, rarely letting anyone in, so it makes for really entertaining reading when it's the awkward Forrest who finally sees the real her. These two run hot and cold, their arguments as epic as their lust-filled encounters. That means the first 60% or so of the book is just us really getting to know the characters and I must admit, I enjoyed that. There's no insta-love, these two have known each other forever, but there is chemistry that gets built upon until there's no denying that the two belong together.

A classic small-town romance, Flutter has just the right amount of contemporary drama to make it a winner for me. I loved the mix of sexy and sweet that Carrie Aarons blends together, it kept me engaged and just like Penelope did, I fell for Forrest too. The Nash Brothers series has been such a nice escape for me, these books make you feel just enough and they make you believe in sweet fairy tale romance. I highly recommend this series, and Flutter especially, if you're looking for romance and characters with a lot of heart.

"Flutter" by Carrie Aarons is the third book in the "Nash Brothers" series. Like the previous books, it has been a very sweet and flawless romance. In this one, we find a platonic love, age-gap, and friends with benefits. Each book steals your heart, and this story teaches you that life doesn't end at a specific moment in life, you can fall in love again and be happier.

Penelope Briggs, 30, is still trying to get on with her life and her children's after being widowed a couple of years ago. Forrest Nash, 24, has loved her since he was 11 years old, although he could never prove it because of the age difference and she had a boyfriend whom she later married and had children with. Now he is a successful hacker and still loves her, but many encounters will make him express his feelings.

OMG! It was so perfect and so sweet. There have been moments when I have cried, full of happiness, and also with a lot of stress. It shows you the reality of life, those people who, even if they have lost the love of their life, can fall in love again. That you don't just fall in love once. Penelope is an excellent woman with her children, work, friendships, it is amazing how she was able to do everything. Forrest is a perfect gentleman and so sweet. You fall in love with him again and again.
I admire the fact that the author doesn't finish a book and forgets about the characters, or they don't participate much. Otherwise, their stories are better known, and they have a very important role in future relationships. All I know is that I still have Fletcher, who has so much to tell, and from the very beginning, I've been waiting for him.

DAMN...Carrie Aarons has done it again! Got me with all the feels!

Flutter is such a fantastic book that I highly recommend reading!!! It is definitely an EPIC read! Here I thought that Keaton and Bowen couldn’t be beat, watch out ‘cause Forrest is another contender for my favourite Nash brother. I have a feeling that Fletcher is going to be just as lovable a character in Falter. I ❤️ all the Nash Brothers!!!

Flutter is the third book in the Nash Brother Series. It follows Forrest and Penelope and their incredibly fiery relationship. Their chemistry is off the hook. A love/hate relationship that burns up the pages! Can the so called ‘egotistical and selfish Nash brother put someone else first, with that someone having a ready-made family? You’ve got to read to find out!

“We’re like oxygen and flames. Matches and gasoline. And when we mix for just long enough, we burn the whole place down.

I’ve got to share one of my favourite quotes from Penelope.

“My God, Forrest Nash I think you’ve transformed from the Beast into a prince right before my very eyes.... “Yes, but the Beast had a library and you’re a nerd, so it fits more.

I could not put this book down and need my Nash fix!!!Flutter by Carrie Aarons will definitely join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

Flutter is the third book in The Nash Brothers series and the one I have been looking forward to the most.

Forrest is the computer nerd brother and twin of Fletcher (37 seconds older). He's always felt like the odd one out and has kept to himself since no-one understands how his brainiac mind works. He's always been the one trying to hack into companies and gov't to find their weaknesses until he got caught. Instead of being sent to jail, they chose to his skills for good and now he finds himself on the other side of the law.

Penelope has been a widower for the last few years after her husband passed away while defending the country. His death is something that she has struggled with over the years; she's always been pretty much a single mom even when he was alive, just serving overseas. So it wasn't a huge adjustment for her to raise their three boys alone, but it was accepting that he was never coming home that took longer.

Forrest always crushed on Penelope when they were younger but she never saw him as more than annoying. Now that she is ready to move forward in her life, Forrest decides that since he isn't looking for anything permanent and Penelope wants to keep things between them, friends with benefits is the best option for them. Until they both feel themselves wanting more, but never admit it to the other.

This is my favorite in the series so far. I love the banter between Penelope and Forrest and that just adds to the whole sexual vibe between them. As Forrest and Penelope figure out what's going on between them, Forrest is still working cases for the police and the one they put him on recently is the toughest case yet for him. I love the added mystery with this story and that just adds another layer in this book.

Carrie definitely nailed this book perfectly. I loved how everything played out and how naturally and organically things moves for Penelope and Forrest. I can't wait to read the final book!

An enemies to lovers, fbuddy romance between a widowed mom and a cocky man six years younger than her.

I enjoyed this one, particularly all of the snark between them. Forrest is a bit self-centered and stuck in his own head, which stems from some internal issues that he has to learn how to cope with. Penelope has to come to terms with her guilt over moving on and finding love again after her husband passed away. The Nash brothers and wives were as great as always, though we do see them less in Flutter than the last book. You can certainly read this as a standalone, but I would recommend reading the series in order to understand the history of the family and mentions of past events better.

I liked seeing Forrest mature and learn to control his sarcasm and snark. There were a few instances where either Penelope or Forrest said or did something mean to push the other away or to hide their own feelings, which I wasn't a fan of. Additionally, there is a subplot of Forrest in his hacker job tracking down a bad guy, which I found pretty obvious and was really just a device to . I personally could have done without it but I didn't hate it. Overall, I thought the story was sweet and I enjoyed how once they admitted their feelings, they dove in headfirst and didn't hesitate. Forrest was really sweet with her kids and I appreciated that becoming an instant parent never really bothered him.

Standalone - Other books within series:
Book 1: Fleeting 3 Stars
Book 2: Forgiven 3.5 Stars
Book 3: Flutter 3.75 Stars
Book 4: Falter 3.5 Stars

Oh man, I had no idea I would love Forrest this much. To be honest, he's the one I was less curious about but boy did I fall in love with this geek god. There was so much about this book that I loved: enemies to lovers, the banter, friends with benefits, age gap, Penelope and her boys, the suspense and watching Forrest be good and not brag about it, and how much he always wanted Penelope and how he was worked so hard to get her and keep her.

Penelope has owned his heart since he was 11 and although her rejections hurt him and made him hate her as much as he craved her, once he realised he loved her, he was ALL IN and ready to do anything for Penelope and her three little boys.

It was all so amazing and I might have enjoyed this one as much as Forgiven or more. Forgiven was emotional and got my heart aching but Flutter was sexy, with an amazing chemistry and banter and a little angst here and there to keep my angst lover heart going. These are the two extremes my heart craves and I loved both books so much. I honestly don't know which one wins, so I'm sitting them at a tie for now.

I loved getting to know all sides of Forrest and how he really worked behind his goofy and a**hole mask. Watching him fall in love was the best thing ever and I say this not just for me but for all the Nash family. From someone who never wanted marriage or kids to someone who wants it all with only one woman. Penelope was amazing, sassy, sarcastic and a great single mom to her 3 babies. She went full roar on anyone who questioned her love for them or threatened their safety. I loved her and watching her fight Forrest was so entertaining. She tried to resist him but it was just impossible. They were fire on the streets and even more so in the sheets! These two, honestly so good!

Flutter is all chemistry and fun with heart and a sweet love story mixed in. You'll fall in love with Forrest and Penelope from the get go. It's impossible not to. Forrest will have you shaking your head at the same time as he melts your heart to mush. He was a true and amazing surprise for me. He's cocky and a**holish but he has such a good heart underneath. He will win you over in no time and make you question who your favorite Nash brother is.

I am loving this series so much. I can't wait to read Fletcher's story. I have no doubt it will be just as amazing as all previous three, if not more because honestly I'm finding each book better than the last.

This was cute and I really like Penelope and Forrest together. I loved and believed their history - Forrest pining after his older brother's friend who was never available, and Penelope ignoring the younger sibling of someone in her friendgroup who was hopelessly in lvoe with her. But both seing each other in different lights, years later and the growth of their relationship in the present building (and sometimes breaking) expectations and assumptions from the years they've known each other. I would have slight appreciated some more of Forrest getting to know Penelope's sons but the little we did get was cute. Overall, I thought the story was well paced, and the relationship was well developed - two things I look for in a romance, so I would not hesitate to recommend this series, and this book specifically.

Forrest Nash is a for all intents and purposes, a hacker. He used to do some questionable things with those skills, for the greater good, but now he puts those skills to good use as helping solve crimes. Penelope Briggs is a widow; she lost the love of her life when he was serving the USA. She is a single mom of 3 and doing her best. Forrest has been in lust with Penelope since he was a little boy, now as a grown man he can’t stand her. She is bossier and sassier than any man can handle. As for Forrest, Penelope can’t stand him either, he’s cocky and a know it all. What the two can’t deny is they have some serious chemistry in the bedroom. One night turns into two, and they can’t seem to keep their hands off of each other. The two think they’re being sneaky, but when a job Forrest is working threatens Penelope’s safety, he’ll do anything to protect her. The question is, are either willing to admit they are more than just friends with benefits?

Forrest Nash, I’ve been waiting for his book since Keaton’s. Don’t get me wrong Carrie Aarons is three for three when it comes to the Nash brothers. Each of them are swoony in their own way, but Forrest, that nerdy vibe just makes me love him even more than his other brother’s. Carrie has absolutely killed it with the third installment in the Nash Brother’s series. I love a girl with some sass and Penelope has that in spades, and the chemistry that Carrie brings to life with her writing of this book is white hot. I couldn’t put this book down; it was an absolute page turner. This book was such a quick read because I needed to know what was going to happen next. Bring on Fletcher, I have a feeling he is going to tear my heart out!

DNF 70% ish

Manwhore hero
Age gap. Heroine is older by six years. This is not a big deal usually if both people are mature, but Forrest acted like he was 12.

I can’t stand Forrest. He is probably one of the most immature heroes I have ever read. He behaves like a child and when he feels “attacked he also responds like a child. He is very hurtful. The author makes it out like that is his personality, that and the six year age gap between him and the heroine, I do not think they should have been together. He didn’t seem like he would be a good father figure for her children, more like a big brother.

Also, the book felt rushed....
*Forrest didn’t like kids, what changed his mind? All of a sudden he was “good with her kids, but there was no development. We didn’t see his progress with this. It just happened suddenly.
*The same for his relationship with Penelope. They were f-buddies then all of a sudden he wants to go on a date with her.
* I also had an issue with the heroine, everything Forrest did turned her into mush. She’s almost in tears because hero ruffled her kid’s her or is playing video games with them. I didn’t get Forrest’s appeal to be honest.

Lastly I noticed some discrepancies/inconsistencies in the book.
* she says Travis is her first child, but then there is a chapter where she calls him her middle child
* Forrest says his crush with Penelope started when he was 11 then the next paragraph he said he was 11.

“What’s worse, is that in my own way, I was only trying to protect her.
Even more is that I care about her, against all odds. And she just proved that she most certainly doesn’t give a shit about me.

Penelope has a busy life. Mother of three boys and widow, her days are dedicated to her children and her work. The last thing she needs in her life right now is one more complication. Especially one in the form of Forrest Nash, arrogant, annoying, too young for her, but handsome as sin. And incredible in bed.
Forrest is a genius. Very smart, he has always dealt better with books and technology than with people. Working for the police department, using his skills as a hacker, he lives in his own world, and immersed in this digital network, real life for him is a challenge, where interacting and understand emotions is a big problem. Too bad the only person he's interested in hates him with all her might.
With the help of fate and some doses, these two always end up together in bed in some situations. And when the haze of passion dissipates, Penelope returns to her daily routine of hating him. But what if Forrest can convince her that this no string attached arrangement can be something permanent, will she accept it? And will he gradually make her see him as a man, and not as the nerd of the past?
Penelope is afraid of falling in love again. And with guilt for betraying her husband's memory. How a woman with a family should proceed to return to the world of dating and relationship is the great issue of the character. How to be a woman, without leaving aside the role of mother. Serious and deep questions that show the character starting over again after a tragedy.
Forrest on the other hand, was always misunderstood and felt excluded. This facet full of sarcasm, charm, and insults is the way he deals with the fear of rejection. Having been in love with Penelope since he was a teenager, he was rejected, and now when he finally has a chance, he will go the extra mile to show her that he may be the one.
A little suspense and action are part of the narrative, and when Forrest's work puts Penelope in danger, he will go to the ultimate consequences to protect the woman he loves.
I liked the couple, all the personal questions were approached sensitively, the chemistry between them is explosive, the Nash brothers are wonderful, Forrest's interaction with Penelope's children is cute and the narrative is well written.
A good novel, with a few hints of drama, and well developed.

I had a good time with the first two volumes and was curious to finally discover the story of the twins. So it is on Forrest that the story focuses on.

Forrest has always had a crush on Penelope, but she was never interested in him. But time has passed, Penelope has now been a widow for a few years and lives with three children whom she is raising alone. So, Forrest annoys her more than anything and vice versa, but he tries again to see if something is possible between them. And if she remains stuck on their age difference, she still succumbs when he offers her to be friends with benefits, but on one condition: that no one knows about it.

In parallel, we are also following a case that Forrest is trying to solve, it seems that someone in the city is stealing money from several of the city’s companies.

I had a good time again with this story and these characters and I was happy to discover what the author was going to propose for them. Penelope has trouble thinking that she can have a relationship again because of the guilt she feels for her deceased husband. It was as touching to see her take care of her children as best she could. However, it was sad to see that Forrest was doing his best to try to make her succumb while she was doing everything she could to keep things from going any further.

In any case, it was a very good sequel and I am curious to read the story of the twin I have on hand!

Flutter by Carrie Aarons is book Three in the Nash Brothers Series. This is the story of Forrest Nash and Penelope Briggs. I have read the previous books (and Loved Them!) but feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Penelope is a widower with three boys who is struggling along. Forrest is a few years younger than her and someone that is the total opposite of her. Where she has commitments, responsibility and kids he is a single playboy with no real commitments. So when they hook up for a encounter at his brother's wedding she can't seem to stay away from him. Sparks fly between the two but can he be someone who can be in her life full time?
Loved their story and this series.

Forrest and Penelope are frenimes. They cut each other down at the drop of a hat but there has to be more to it than that. Forrest has had a massive crush on her since they were kids but he was so much younger than her. She was way out of his league. He "loved" from afar until she got married and started having kids. Then he knew his chance was over. After the death of her husband, his hopes got raised. But she still saw him as a kid. Forrest had a long road ahead but did he want to pursue it? Especially since his personality was so self centered?
I adored Forrest. He puts this front out there as if he hasn't a care in the world and that he care about no one. But that is so far form the truth. His love for his family has no bounds. He would do anything to protect his brothers. Once he gets a taste of Penelope, she is included in his circle as well. Not to mention her 3 boys. As a single mom, Penelope is overwhelmed. She has been doing that for far longer than she has been a widow though. Her mother and mother in law help out and she couldn't be more grateful. Forrest takes her by surprise when he shows he wants more. How could anyone want to be a part of her crazy life? The banter between them is hysterical. They insult each other with an undertone of seduction there really wasn't anywhere else for them to go but to fall head over heels.

Forrest was such a great story and I love the misunderstood techy geek with the "older woman. This story was jam packed with some great enemy-friends-to lovers heat and banter. I truly loved the dynamics between these two and their struggles were so easy to relate to. And leave it to Carrie Aarons to throw in a little twist just to keep me on my toes. Must must read for all

I love Carrie Aarons. Her writing sucks me in. So I thought nothing could get better than Keaton. But then she gave me Bowen (hello brooding guy with a heart of gold!). But then she had to devastate me with the introduction Forrest, one of the dynamite twins. In the first two books, we only get glimpses of these two men - superficial introductions. But in Flutter, we get to jump into the crazy intelligent madness that makes Forrest so amazing. His loyalty, arrogant facade, and love for his family made me want more. And his unabashed pursuit of Penelope through the decades made me love him so much.

She is quite the match to him. A total ballbuster who challenges him to be the best version of himself. I find myself wanting more of their story, but I think Aarons got in what we needed to know who they are and left us knowing that everything was sorted the way it was supposed to - in their own way and on their own timeline.

In short, it was a wonderfully fun and lovely story. You can't go wrong by reading this story!

Flutter by Carrie Arrons is the third in the, ‘Nash Brothers Series but can also be read as a standalone although I'd definitely recommend reading the other books as well because they're just THAT GOOD TOO.
In this book, Forest and Penelope’s love/hate relationship, watching them working through the angst and heartbreak and everything else was such a ride.... and a delicious one at that at times. I seriously can't wait for the next installment.

*ARC kindly given in exchange for an honest review, thank you so much*

Flutter by Carrie Aaron’s is the third book in the Nash brother series and one of the ones I’ve been waiting for. The twins stories!!

Flutter follows the love story of Forrest and Penelope. Forrest is sexy, intelligent, cocky and lives his life in that gray area between legal and illegal.

Penelope has been through a lot so their love story takes a while to take off. Penelope has to realise that there is a spark there first, whilst allowing her walls to come down.

The scorching chemistry between Forrest and Penelope was epic to read along with all of the angst and heartbreak that follows them.

Beautifully written.

Flutter by Carrie Arrons is the third in the ‘Nash Brothers series, an interconnected standalone books about Keaton, Bowen, Forrest and Fletcher. If you’ve read the first two books in the series (Fleeting(1) and Forgiven(2) then you’ve met them all by now. Keaton and Bowen’s stories were so, so good.
Forrest though? Oh this nerdy bad boy has it all in spades! He’s hot, damned sexy- and he knows it. He’s not your typical ladies man though, because this guy? His heart was stolen a long time ago. He’s been set on one woman, and even though she barely gave him the time of day, and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, his heart wanted only Penelope.
More than ten years have passed since Penelope married Travis, but he lost his life serving his country. Now, Penelope has three kids and is a single mom. She has no time for a relationship and no time for surly, gorgeous Forrest Nash. He riles her up far too easily, but Pen gives as good as she gets.
Dozens of knock backs at a young age have embittered Forrest to love and now all he wants is the sexy good times. Yeah, he picks on Pen whenever he has a chance. It makes his blood run hot seeing her riled up and spitting fire, even if it’s aimed at him.
These two were a chemistry bomb just waiting to explode, and when the opportunity comes they finally take a chance. Over and over again. Hate sex is the best kind it seems. Until they make a pact. No string FWB and no getting attached. Of course, they finally get to know one another and find that they actually do like each other. Funny that, huh?? LOL
These two were HAWT!!! So freaking hot, with some sexy banter and sassy comebacks to boot. But, it was seeing Forrest with Pen’s kids that made me swoon. That boy was made to be a dad.
On a side track, Forrest has a criminal to catch and it’s a plot line that brings Pen and her boys into harm’s way. Forrest has only one way of dealing with the danger.
The wrong way!
Catching up with the two earlier couples was fun too. Now, it’s all down to Fletcher and Presley’s BFF Ryan to finish of the series. Saving the best for last, Carrie?? We’ll find out on July 25th.

Flutter by Carrie Aaron’s is the third book in the Nash brother series and one of the ones I’ve been eagerly anticipating. The twins stories! This story follows Forrest and Penelope and their incredibly fiery relationship. Their chemistry is off the charts A delicious and delectable love/hate relationship that burns up the pages.

Watching Forest and Penelope’s love story unfold was breathtaking and the way Carrie wrote these characters was flawless. The walls Penelope and Forrest had to break through, the heartache, the angst, the chemistry and the hotness was incredible. The scorching hot chemistry between Forrest and Penelope was just epic and a joy to read, together with all of the angst and heartbreak that follows them.

Carrie has absolutely nailed it with this third installment in the Nash Brother’s series. I couldn’t put this book down; it was an absolute page turner! I devoured it within hours because I needed to know what was going to happen next. Bring on Fletcher, I have a feeling he is going to be the game changer in this fantastic series!

I've loved the Nash brothers series and love all the brothers but I've been looking forward to this in particular. Forrest is my kind of guy... Intelligent, cocky, know it all, sexy and a nerd.

Forrest and Penelope are perfect for each other but it takes a while forPenelope to realise this as she has been hurt and suffered grief.

Watching their love story unfold was breathtaking, the way Carrie wrote these characters was flawless.
The walls Penelope and Forrest had to break through, the heart ache, the angst, the chemistry and the hotness was incredible.

Carrie has the ability to write these two characters that really bring out their traits and also made me feel their emotions. I could feel in my heart the loss that Penelope suffers to the point I was crying. That in its self demonstrates a talented writer.

I honestly can't wait for the next installment of this series.

This book was absolutely fantastic! I’m so glad that Penelope got her own book. The characters are lovable and relatable. It was great to be back in Fawn Hill. I can’t decide which Nash brother is my favorite now that I’ve read Forrest’s book. I was hooked from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down.

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

This book is great for a lot of reasons, but for me it's mostly because it is part enemies to lovers and part forbidden romance. Sure, Forrest is six years younger than her, but that's nothing. It's only forbidden because Penelope wants it to be. She sees him more of a (secret) distraction than anything else.

But then they see themselves falling into each other's beds over and over again and start to realize that maybe them being together isn’t such a bad idea. Of course Penelope is the one who needs the most convincing, but the two of them together makes sense.

It’s almost scary how well they work. And not just during the sexy times! Penelope and Forrest being together was quite sweet and also very hot! They said they were having "hate sex", but it was very obvious that they didn't hate each other at all. They had great banter and as far as I am concerned great banter is just another form of foreplay and these two had plenty of it!

I love the Nash family so much! We only have one more book to go and I will be sad when the series is over.

If Clark Kent was a cocky jerk, you would have Forrest Nash. Or so it would seem. There’s so much depth to this character. Watching Forrest grow up and Penny open up was amazing to read. This is the third Nash brother and they just keep getting better. A war widow who is now a single mom falling for the younger guy who has crushed on her for years...SO. GOOD!! Carrie Aaron’s knows how to write with feeling.

Flutter is the third book in the Nash Brothers series, and this has been my favorite so far!

Forrest Nash has had a crush on Penelope since he was little, despite her being six years older than him. Penelope got married right out of high school, and started a family, only to have her husband pass away. Three years later, Forrest and Penelope start out with a "friends with benefits" type of relationship that eventually evolved into more.

I very much liked Forrest. He portrayed himself with a cocky, arrogant attitude, but used that to really mask his insecurities about not quite fitting in. Penelope was such a strong mother, doing the best she could to raise three rambunctious boys while working full-time.

I highly recommend the Nash Brothers series, and especially Flutter!
