I absolutely love the In The Shadows series by PT Michelle. Sometimes, when I love a series, I set my expectations too high for the latest book and end up disappointed. Instead, this book blew right past any set expectations I had. The action and suspense in this installment is edge-of-your-seat fantastic. I didn't know that Talia and Sebastian, who have a deep and fire-tested love, could still wring out so much emotion from their story. But this one hit me right in the gut. I can't recommend this book highly enough.
You can read this as a standalone, but it is so much better if you read the rest of the series first.

Gripping sensational romantic adult thriller.
I have read all the In The Shadows books and this new instalment does not disappoint. To have such a strong focused heroine supported by her Alpha husband shows how evolved the author is in her work. Pt Michelle another piece of pure genius. I am waiting now in anticipation for the next instalment. Thank you

Wow another brilliant book I love everything that Sebastian and Talia do they are a strong team at work and in passion and with a great family not just blood they are loyal they belong together the love and understanding they have are unique bring on the next book

I am so in love with this series. It just keeps getting better and better. All the twist, turns and the heat between Sebastian and Talia has me coming back for more. I didn’t want the book to end because I have so many questions. I hope we do not have long to wait for the next book in the series.

Am not sure how I fell in this series but delighted that I did. I recall reading books 1-6 one right after the other. The characters are extremely well written, fleshed out, believable and fun. Yes, the men are wealthy, devilishly handsome with flaws.. real flaws. All, except Den are former Navy SEALS, Den being MI6... who make up BLACK Security. Talia, Cass and Mina are strong, independent, vibrant women who definitely stand on their own going toe-to-toe with whatever and whomever confronts them.
This is #10 in the “In The Shadows� Series and I literally could NOT put it down. Someone is after Talia and Sebastian and out to not just destroy them personally but also their company and extended family. We know WHO, we think. But do we know WHY?
P.T. Michelle has written strong male and female characters. Believable and on equal footing male and female characters. You not only root for their success on a business level, you are pulling for them on a personal level. BLACK might be a business but it is definitely a family in the strongest sense of the word. Will they be in time? Sebastian, Talia, Cass and her Calder, the Brit Noble Den & Mina.... The characters cross over within the stand alone books. And you want to know what happens to them also. In “Black and Red� there are twists, turns and...... it’s the “and� which makes me want book #11..... seriously worth the ride and the read. Which means... I need to reread.... ENJOY!

I just love the intensity of what they have together! Not to mention the whole crew of BLACK Security! And of course the few they've picked up over the years!
Talia needs to prove that she can lead the company & succeed! It's actually pretty ridiculous seeing who the info is coming from. Believe or not believe?!?! I don't want to give any info about this storyline.
And even though the Author says they are Standalone Stories, I don't agree. I believe that reading from the beginning of the Series will give you the background info needed to understand everyone & everything that goes down!! Having the info about where everyone fits into the story is important. And it will be that much better to enjoy!!
Enjoy!! Though now I have to wait for the next one BLACK STEEL!! Hmmm, the website says 2022! I do believe that is incorrect. Hopefully it will be out soon. I'm really bad at waiting!! LMAO

Another amazing story for Talia and Sebastian. Their connection to one another is beyond words. What they wouldn’t do for one another. Wow! The stories within each book is never boring. Always a twist and turn but never a straight line. I really want to know more about Elijah and now that Den and Mina are back from UK maybe stir the pot with more of their store. I can never tire of the possible stories this series can bring. I look forward to them. Chemistry, sex, sexy, charisma, darkness, intrigue, stamina, unknown twist, danger, crazy infatuation and so much energy it’s addicting. Great job again PT Michelle. Looking for to the next book in this series. 💚👍🏾❤️👏🏾💜💕

Love of Family
Sebastian Black owns Black Security Company. Along with his wife Talia, who has eagle eyes, they provide services to all major events, right now their biggest event is taking care of each other.
I really enjoy their antics, but I love how fierce they are when protecting each other and their families, both blood and through friendship.
This was an edge of your seat, nail biter story. I liked how they figured out who the villains were and all the people they had to help them do so.
I would definitely recommend. While you might be able to read as a stand-alone, this story is truly much better if read in the series.
A definite recommendation.

Black and Red
I love the stories of Sebastian and Talia. This is a amazing book! This is test for Talia having to put up threats to her family. Simone has lost her mind and put the Blake family through it. Black Security is doing security for the Mayor’s Christmas party. Simone is determined to make the Blake’s pay. Simone puts Talia to test and makes her step up her game. She shows she can run the Security business just as well as Sebastian and Calder. Talia is not behind the scenes she proves she is an equal and can hold her own. Can’t wait for the next book

It only keeps getting better.
This is an amazing story. So well written it makes you feel as though you are there with the characters. I love Talia and Sebastian and how together they whether whatever comes their way. This story keeps you on your toes guessing how it is all going to work out.

Wow! Loving this series, this story of Sebastian and Talia just reinforce my belief that this is one of the best families that work, and join each other when times are tough, to help and be there for one another. In The Shadows book 10. Sebastian and Talia are parents now and protecting the family is priority #1. Talia had to step up and Sebastian had to let her. Den comes back and Calder has a lot going on. As some crazies attack the family and the integrity of Black Security, the Blake family must come together. Talia is a total badass In this book. This book is fast paced, action filled, dramatic hopelessly loving. Black and Red forever.

I love this series so much I don’t even know if it’s really a five star or a solid four. I first met Sebastian and Talia when I was just getting into my new reading obsession. So anytime I get to visit with them, I’m so excited and they never disappoint.
Sebastian is my book soul mate. Talia is his perfect match in every way. She really took over and handled things in this book when she needed and she killed it. I love how PTM stays so true to these characters. So excited there will be more.

Talia and Sebastian have a love that out does everything. When one is in trouble the other steps up. Family is everything to the Blake’s. Simone has lost her mind and She thinks what she is doing will make Talia stronger what she doesnt know is Talia already is. I love this series i hope that she really does put book 11 out. I want more... read these books they keep you wanting more. I read all of them with in 24 hours per book...

Creating a great story is a wander but a series of 10 that keeps you captured through every page is beyond words
The Blake's are not a family to be messed with, their money, power and positions have nothing to do with it, it's their closeness, compassion, loyalty, duty but above all their love and dedication that keeps the Blake's safe with Sebastian trying to lead but never passing Talia as she's always in front of her family.

Never a disappointment!
I dug into this book immediately and couldn’t put it down. Talia was simply amazing! The tension wondering what Simone would do next was incredible. It was wonderful reengaging with all the characters. Can’t wait to get my hands on the next book “Black Steel �.

We dive right back into the world of Black security and the troubles that seem to follow Sebastian and Talia.

Another one!,
This series has never disappointed. Talia and Me Black are two characters that keep me enthralled. I can never get enough of wandering what is coming next with this series. Who knew that Talia was just as, if not better, with this security business. Not only is she a mother, a wife, a great author but also a kick ass, savvy business woman.

I love P T Michele's books! I just finished all the books with Talia and Sebastian! I love these two characters and enjoyed each new book as their relationship also grew! The books have love, sex and mystery and keeps you wanting to read more! I would love to see these characters on the big screen! PT Michele books do not disappoint!

Didn’t disappoint
I have really enjoyed these books and have read them twice. They really grip you from the start and the writing style is fantastic. I felt this particular book was shorter than previous ones but still a good read. If you want to lose yourself for several days then start with the first book and keep going, you will not be disappointed

A nice Christmas story.

Sebastian and Calder’s stories were so good. I have struggled with book 9 The Brit and This book 10. They feel anti climatic for some reason. Leaving me with the “I need more � feeling. Not as steamy for sure. They just feel like the author has watered down the series.
