I think this is the case of its me and not the book going by all the high ratings for this. I just couldn’t connect with the story or the heroine, and found myself on numerous occasions dozing off but kept pushing myself to carry on but sadly I gave up at 80%
I just couldn’t carry on. Basically for me the synopsis didn’t live up to my expectations.

description I am kind of 🅑🅤🅜🅜🅔🅓 to say this, but I just didn't love this book. 😞 I am rounding my rating up to 🌟🌟🌟 because I 𝓮𝓷𝓳𝓸𝔂𝓮𝓭 certain aspects, and the writing was good. 👍 However, It just wasn't what I expected based on the synopsis. First, the whole synopsis doesn't even come 🅵🆄🅻🅻🆈 into play until 90% into the book. Before that it was honestly pretty boring. 🙈 Just mundane мαяяιε life with a ғαηтαsү here and there by the heroine that she keeps to herself. On top of that, we get a lot of pages dedicated to a secondary character and his marriage issue. 😪

description

I also wasn't a fan of the whole 🅒🅗🅔🅛🅢🅔🅐 thing regarding the hero. 😒 That said, I loved Chelsea as a character! 🅶🅸🆁🅻 got hers, and she made me laugh my butt off! 😂 There was also some ᎶᏒᎬᎽ area IMO. It depends if you feel like 👀 Personally, I would consider that a 🅱🅴🆃🆁🅰🆈🅰🅻, but to each their own. 👍 I will say the 𝓱𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓵𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 of this book was the It was S҉M҉O҉K҉I҉N҉' H҉O҉T҉ . However, the ending left a lot to be ĐɆ₴łⱤɆĐ? Will there be a second book? It left us kind of 🅗🅐🅝🅖🅘🅝🅖... 👎

So yea, this didn't turn out to be as ₲ØØ as I was expecting. However, I always say, I am just 🅾🅽🅴 reviewer in the sea of many. 😁

Torre is a great author who's penned some of my favourite books
(Love, Chloe; Hollywood Dirt, Black Lies, Deanna Madden Trilogy, and many more) but this feeble attempt at erotica/ménage à trois was slow-moving and unsatisfying and I most certainly have read better ones.

Oh well.

5 Not For the Faint of Heart Stars
* * * * * Spoiler Free-It's Live!!!
Definition of faint of heart. : lacking the courage to face something difficult or dangerous as in, "This is a difficult climb that is not for the faint of heart." The first thing that popped into my head was that phrase...because this book does face something difficult and dangerous. It brings to life all the insecurities and fears we could have in a relationship...

It confronts the wonder of whether to be completely honest with your partner about sex and fantasies...How will this reveal impact your relationship, how strong is it...How strong are you...how strong is your partner...

If you have read any of Alessandra Torre's earlier works than you may have an inkling of how she may craft a tale of this subject matter.
With a deft hand, she introduces us to a young couple from college. He has his crew and she has hers. They end up together on their way to a life all planned out, with career goals, the number of kids they will have...the whole nine yards...

Their chemistry is off the charts and both fall hard for each other, true love-for reals...But life doesn't always follow the plans we have made and adjustments must be made. These two are strong though, and each shows the other what is important. Not the superficial things, no the really valuable things in their lives are each other and everything else falls along the wayside.

Even after being together for seven years, what they had never left them. There was passion and the truth in their coupling. Every time it was sensual, strong and whatever the moment dictated. They were lucky. They still had it. Yet, recently she was having thoughts. It wasn't like she was going to act on them, they were intrusive. But these fantasies were there and due to a specific occurrence, the timing was there to share those thoughts with him.

Alessandra Torre takes us on a journey. It is something to behold.

It could be dangerous...
There would be no guarantee.

What there will be is hot, intense, dirty talking, filthy sex between two people who love each other. There will be teasing and questioning. There will be friends who are part of this tale and important to it. There is humor and fun, no doubt but there is also the idea of what if...

So get ready to be stimulated, to be involved and wondering What If and then after you think on that...
You can also ponder on What's Next?

Because Alessandra Torre is sly, cunning and well versed with this territory, it wouldn't surprise me at all if she is working on something else just as stimulating.

4 Filthy Wife Stars ⭐️

Elle and Easton were young adults when they met at university. Easton a popular cocky male slut enamored with the beautiful good girl. Somehow compatible in so many ways....

Fast forward seven years, and these two are happily married with an active sex life. Unfortunately Elle is struggling with disappointment in her life which has the potential to take its toll on their marriage.

“In seven years, how had I changed so much? When had I taken on so much stress? So much insecurity? I thought that I would become more secure as I grew older, but I felt as if I was untethered. Careerless. Childless. Useless. I felt, at rare and isolated moments, that I had made a mistake, in everything.

Whether it’s the feeling of being stagnant or inadequate, Elle is finding herself constantly fantasizing about other men although she has no desire to cheat on her husband. When a moment of role playing with Easton exposes her hidden desires, will her fantasies become a reality?

Subject Line: “Your fantasies I’m having trouble concentrating on anything but the things you described."

”They were just fantasies. We can forget they exist."

My phone hummed, warm against my upper thigh. A response from Easton.

”Yeah, we could. Or we could explore them further."

Filthy Vows was an extremely sexy tale of a happily married couple exploring their interest in kink on a broader scale. I actually enjoyed this well written story and Easton is the kind of husband any woman would wish for. Utterly devoted to his wife, there is nothing he wouldn’t do or provide to keep her happy. My only criticism is that this story ends on a sudden cliffhanger. That’s not to say I’m not looking forward to the continuation of their new journey ......

It would be an absolute honor to have you as a guest on my blog. Feel free to check it out.

Filthy Vows is a hot, passionate and captivating story. And when I say hot I mean it, it's super hot and sensual and it's better not to be read in public places, hehehe.I was sucked into this story from the beginning and I was so intrigued!

description

The characters were great and their chemitry is off the charts hot, and you could feel the sexual tension .I loved that this one was about a married couple.Elle is an intereting heroine and I loved being in her mind.

I really wish we had more, I feel like it was short. I hope we have another book in this world at some point!

Alessandra Torre's latest novel is a sexy feast that will delight fans of her perfectly crafted erotic writing and engaging storytelling. We meet the couple at the heart of this story when they are married and deeply in love. Easton places his wife at the centre of his universe empowering her to be honest with him about her sexual desires and fantasies.

The story in itself is pretty straight forward, light, easy going, sensual and very, very sexy which I believe is exactly what the synopsis suggests. The usual push and pull of whether a couple will get together is clearly not a factor in the story as they are already married and secure in their relationship. The risk taking is all about how far the couple will go in terms of bringing their sexual fantasies to reality and how that in turn may affect the foundation of their relationship, that is the push and pull of this story, the will they won't they take it all the way there?

I felt invested in the characters, including the supporting cast of best friends, and was engaged in the narrative. I confess I would have liked to experience more layers and depth. Perhaps I would have benefited from the story going back in time to the early days of this couple's relationship, when they met at school, a time when Easton and Elle were young and with other partners, a time when Easton had a sports career all mapped out. However, as I said earlier, it appears this was not the intention of this story so perhaps it’s perfectly set in the time period of their established married life. It certainly makes the story feel fresh, unique and unexpected.

'Filthy Vows,' is written as a standalone but I'm so pleased a follow up has been announced as it is at the end where the story really took flight for me, and I would have loved more of this couple! I felt the possibilities of their story and would love a front row seat to their future escapades together and whatever conflicts that may arise as a result.

Well written, smart, and off the charts sexy!! My new favorite from Alessandra Torre!

Books about married couples are like my kryptonite. And Filthy Vows took that love to an entirely higher level! It’s intriguing and thought-provoking. Watching the by play of this couple was a true delight. They’re real and relatable. The concerns they have are the main focus of the storyline and had me captivated! The reader feels like a witness during their journey. It’s messy and a great representation of the human condition. Almost like a mini case study on marriage.

The structure of the book is something I haven’t encountered in romance. It’s different and while it may not be for everyone, I enjoyed it. The characters were fablulous. SEXY!! While the book is a bit of a study on the inner workings of marriage, this author did not skimp on the sex appeal. It’s hawt!

The secondary characters are fun! I really hope there are more books in the series. I’m looking forward to learning so much more about all these characters!

Overall, a compelling and sexy book!!

Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person - Female
Rating:

Elle and Easton North met in college and had been inseparable since. They were very much in love with each other even through challenges that life had to offer. But what used to secretly fuel her fantasy, increasingly became sexual needs she can’t untamed. And he was willing to indulge no matter the consequences.

Elle and Easton’s devotion to each other was admirable and cemented a good foundation for their marriage. Both of them were likable and relatable. They had great sexual chemistry and the sex scenes were hot, but I was expecting more filth considering the subject matter.

It couldn’t happen. It was too close to real life. It was a fantasy that should have stayed in its place, behind the current of impossibility but there—in the City of Sin—I felt it bloom to life.

What I loved the most about this book is it wasn’t just about a married couple wanting to try some kinky fuckery just for the sake of it. It started with them young and ready to face the world and followed their journey that led to their carefully made decision. I liked the open-ended conclusion, however, there were several things that were just left hanging especially when it involved a certain matter that was heavily focused on the storyline.

“I can’t give you anything. But I can give you this.

Filthy Vows is a story of exploring fantasies. It would appeal to readers who enjoy erotic romance with a taste of kink.

Holy moly, this was hotttttttt! Like, seriously, smoking, deliciously sexy, scalding hot. I think what made it so sinfully sexy was the build... the simmering build of these feelings, this fantasy, the reluctant war between lust and desire and shame and fear. It was just so good, so well done, so freaking HOT.

I loved these characters. I loved how relatable they felt, how insecure at times they felt, how devoted they were. I loved their banter, their trust, their love. And I loved their story... from college flirtation to what they evolve into over the course of time, their ups and downs, their losses and their victories. I just couldn't get enough of Easton and Elle and I devoured this book in one sitting.

I'm not usually one to reach out to an author after I finish a book but immediately upon closing the last page, I emailed Alessandra Torre with a huge WTF? inquiry. Could there be more to Elle and Easton's story? Does she plan on giving us more in the world she's created here? What comes next in their marriage? What comes next for Aaron and Chelsea? Will there be some kind of marital conflict in the fallout of what transpires here in Filthy Vows? This was perfect as is, don't get me wrong. It's sinfully erotic, emotionally satisfying, a complete package that I literally ate for lunch. It's super sexy, rife with humor and sexual tension, adorably layered with sharp dialogue and drama... but there's also SO MUCH potential here for more. I need more. I loved it and I desperately want more. Definitely READ THIS!

Alessandra Torre is in her element with this book. A clever plotline and oh so hot scenes. A captivating story with sensuality and passion that will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

This book challenges the love and trust between Easton and Elle into a risky chance at something that can make or break their marriage.

I loved the way this was written, the description of the characters and their relationship is eloquently written. The storyline is very different from any of the author's previous work. Wonderfully done and enjoyed this read immensely. I highly recommend this book if you want something you will not be able to put down.

Elle and Easton.

They've been together for seven years. They met in college and it was attraction at first sight. Love and marriage followed. An amazing future as baseball pro and baseball wife was on the horizon. Now seven years later ... everything is not so perfect anymore. They're struggling. With lots of things.

They're still so very much in love with each other, but ... ever since Elle started taking those hormones to help them have a child - she's been having this little sex addiction. They've always had an amazing sex life, but now Elle is just mega-über-sexed and she's not sure if she should tell Easton about her fantasies .... but of course - as the blurb already tells us - she does - and it's getting SEXAY!!!!

description

This book starts by teasing us with a very kinky and sexy scene and then we go back seven years to how they met in college.

From reading the blurb, the reader already knows what might be coming. But what it doesn't tell us ... it's so much more than just a story about an old married couple fulfilling some kinky fantasies. Because that's not at all what's happening here.

We have this adorable and funny college story and then we fast forward to what happens in the present time - and we're not old at all! Elle and Easton are not yet 30 years old!

I just adored those two! They are so in love, but both are also so insecure in that love. They are afraid that they could be left at any time - they both think they are undeserving of the other.

I love that they talk about stuff though. Elle is not afraid to tell her husband about her fantasies - well, at least not too much. I just love that. We don't have those stupid misunderstandings and lies and whatnots - like in all the other books!

I adored the friends too! Funny and crazy and sad and adorable!

I can't wait to hear more from Elle, Easton and their gang!

Great erotic love story.
Sexy, emotional, funny. A little different - but really beautiful!

The blurb is a tiny bit too erotic for the story. It wasn't this constant porn kind of book - not at all! It was definitely sexy, but the blurb sounds so much more erotic. Might be good to add a little bit to it ...

2 3/4 "Pandora's Box" Stars!

This was ok. It was erotic and taboo for sure, but the writing was also a little off, for me. Kind of choppy and just off. There were a lot of (non sexual) questions left unanswered. More storylines that needed follow ups. I just found out there will be more books about Easton and Elle. I liked them both, especially as the story progressed. Though I think they have ruined their marriage, I do appreciate how they were open and honest; able to communicate well. Some of the questions I have may be answered, in the upcoming book(s) but I'm not sure at this point I'll continue.

Happy reading!

I read this book as an Advanced Copy. At the time it was touted as a standalone. When I finished reading, I was very disappointed as I felt that the story was incomplete. The story really came to life at the end for me. The big epic event occurs, the culmination of what the book is all about, and it’s over. I wanted and needed so much more about this couple. So while I was very conflicted, it came to light that the author decided that she had more to write for this couple and that there would be a second book. So while I’m super happy to be getting more, my review feels jaded somehow.

I will say that this author writes magnificently and this story was really fascinating. It wasn’t drama fueled, it was humorous, it had a great cast of secondary best friend characters, and it had a couple that really really loved each other and have a great and satisfying sex life. The way this author presented this couple and their relationship felt very real and organic. They met in college, fell in love, got married, had dreams and then realities that changed their course in life. But through it all, their intense love for one another kept them together. The catch in their marriage was that the heroine started to have erotic fantasies. They discussed these fantasies because of their solid marriage. The idea of fantasies in the mind can be exciting and taboo but the act of fulfilling them can be tricky and there can be consequences that arise. Sometimes even the best of marriages need something extra. The only twists in this story is the fantasies and because this author writes exquisitely, it is 🔥🔥🔥.

I’m looking forward to the next book, Twisted Marriage. Will Easton and Elle survive their fantasy fulfilled or will it lead them to a new sexual chapter in their life? How will Aaron and Chelsea, the best friends, fit into their filthy puzzle? I’m quite sure that this author will continue to knock my socks off with these characters, their sex life, their fantasies and possible consequences.

Filthy Vows was a great and enjoyable read. I really enjoyed how Elle and Easton met in college. Their chemistry was instantly and I was so excited to see how or if it would still be as sizzling in the present time. It was but it slowly fizzled out for me. Some parts of the story couldn’t hold my attention for example Elle’s work as realtor. I didn’t care. I was more interested in her and Easton’s marriage and those fantasies of hers. Sadly the story dragged a few times. I would’ve liked if Elle revealed her fantasies sooner to Easton. To get that ball rolling between the two of them. Once she did though the tension and heat was present again.
Overall I enjoyed this sexy story and it had a great ending. Because of how I overall feel about the story I’m content and not really sure if I’m going to read book 2. I guess I expected more.

hmmm....
I had some good times and bad times with this story...

It was intriguing from the psychological aspect of the stale marriage and spicing your love life up , by talking things through with mutual understanding and communication and respect...NOW THAT part was especially interesting to see develop since I know it's so hard to maintain that kind of level of intimate honesty with your life partner, no matter how long you are married....Alessandra Torre did that part fantastically well, in my opinion, and for me, that segment actually brought this story on the higher level

And now, let me tell you about the issues I had with the rest - esopecially, the secundary cast (aka the couple's best friends) and the relationships the main characters have with them, and let me tell ya, i had a difficult time separating the two segments, especially since they are so interconected BUT those relations just rubbed me wrong...

Now, the things that itched the wrong spot were the fact that the heroine is best friends with the womanwho had sex with her today's husband in college. In fact, her friend was the one who actually "open her sights" to the then "manwhore" with the "beautiful dick". And then, the two met and fast forward a couple of years, they are married. And they fit each other, emotionally and sexually, since it turns out that our heorine is open minded and likes her sex a little bit dirty.

And well, just the saying simply tossed out there: how manwhores don't marry their equal female counterparts, but rather choose the "good girl"

gah...anyway, the "friendship" of two women who were sexually connected to the same men (not talking about threesomes), in the long houl, never quite work for me...it's just fucking weird!

And then the whole thing of "doing", "making" the wife's sexual fantasies true with the husband's long time best friend, who is going through a divorce and is in fact, "right there", in handy

uf, I do know, I mean, I love threesomes,(to read about them, duh) in fact, they are so freaking hawt, I simply forget about anything else LOL, but I think actually the whole thing might work better if the couple is doing it with a stranger, and not a person that they KNOW closely and is a part of their daily lives...

I mean, also fucking awkward...and weird...but hey, that's just my opinion on the matter...

I guess, being the matter of personal opinion and taste BUT simply put, for me, that is a bit distasteful...*shrugs*

The whole psychological process of lamenting and inner turmoil within the heroine the most, was well written and it actually made me think that there was more to the story BUT in the end all I got was her insatiable kinky fantasy coming true and then she figures now that she had finally had a taste of it, she just wanted more...
The issue was, I wanted more. A lot more. And in that dark tent, in the sound of my husband's deepening sighs, I felt my sexual wings unfurl and take flight.

what does it mean for the story? I really don't know.

I get the feeling like it leads to a sequel that in my opinion wouldn't make any sense to make in the first place...

I just feel like I was abruptly taken from one state of mind to another without giving me a proper land to step on...

I mean, where do we go from here? Well, i know where I'm going BUT I'm not so sure with this story or what it had to say in the end...

*sigh*
I'm gonna leave the rating open and decide on it, closer to the release date...cause honestly, I don't really know where to put this story...hmmm

yeah, I finally decided on the rating...*sigh*

I love Easton and Elle!

Whew, this book!! What a turn on! I knew when I saw the dedication, “For the Brad’s and the Elle’s, that I was going to devour this. Brad Deluca is my main man, and I feel Elle is the female version. I loved being able to see a different perspective from a woman’s standpoint in this type of lifestyle. I love the journey as to how E&E got to the place of having a three-some with their best friend, Aaron. I love the communication involved, and most of all the love Elle has for her husband and how that love grew. Easton is so delicious, and so Alpha. Whew! Onto the next book!

There were a lot of things I loved about this book and then some that I really didn't. Elle and Easton met in college and he was 'that guy'. The good-looking athlete who'd pretty much had anyone he wanted. When he pursued Elle though you realized this guy has a heart of gold. The story jumps in time to the beginning of their marriage and then another jump to the present. Easton really stole my heart - for me, he would be enough - he's gorgeous, sexual as hell and very gifted at it, easygoing, and totally invested in Elle. He's the kind of guy that's a keeper and you should thank God if you're lucky enough to have landed him (that's just my take on him).

Elle was a little harder for me to like. In college she was fine but when we got to the present day, I think I was protective of Easton and just wondered why she was constantly daydreaming of scenarios outside of their marriage and the utter insecurity that I felt encompassed her.

The one thing they really did have in spades was honesty between them and without judgement no matter what that honesty may reveal. Easton's ability to listen to Elle's secret thoughts and remain receptive and try to please his wife was just another thing I loved about him.

All that being said, I really believe once you open some doors, no matter thinking how 'innocent' that one time may be, it can really change things irrevocably or let in more than you wanted. And that's where this book lands as a 3 star for me and no higher. Because the author never stated that this was not a standalone and the end is left open with another book to follow. And that really gets on my nerves - tell me up front if this is not a complete book!

Too many things were left open. I wanted to know about how Easton would look at what had happened past the morning after. I wanted to know if Elle had achieved some sort of fulfillment or if this had just added gasoline to a fire. I wanted to see how the marriage panned out and if nothing had been damaged and I wanted to know if they would be adding to their family (if you've read it, you know what I mean). There were just too many questions left unanswered not because it was a cliffhanger but because it literally stops the morning after.

So while it was an interesting and sometimes very sweet portrayal of a marriage and the everyday intricacies - it left me unsatisfied for the reasons above. And that's why I leave it with only 3 stars.

4 starts to the ability of this author to spin a tale, she can dab in different genres and I like her ability to surprise me, although so far nothing can top up the Ghostwriter and Black Lies.
Another ability of this author I like is how good she is at creating annoying female characters, I know this sounds off as if I really can’t stand the main female characters then why read the whole story? Well, because I don’t hate Elle per se, it’s more a case of considering her a whiners. She isn’t evil or a bitch and she doesn’t act the way she does on purpose, nope she is naturally, genuinely selfish and hypocritical, she also acknowledges some of her contradictions. As it always happens in Torre’s stories undeserving Elle bags the best husband ever! Easton is everything! Hot, caring, totally and utterly in love with his wife and would go out of his way just to make her happy. Although Elle declares to love E. And she thinks she’s doing all she can to make him happy she still doesn’t deserve him!
She also doesn’t deserve Chelsea who is fun and out of this world crazy and a loyal friend.
In the end Elle is one happy chum with everything and still acts unsatisfied.
I’m curious to read book two and see if Elle can take what she so abundantly dishes out!
In case it wasn’t clear I don like Elle lol! But the book is well written and the sex is really really hot thanks to Easton that is 🤗😉

3.5 STARS-4 STARS!
This has to be Alessandra’s HOTTEST book ever! Reading the blurb... I had to have this book. This book explores what sex after marriage is like when you have been with someone for some time and the trust, faith, and confidence that this couple has in each other and their marriage to go the length to keep the spice between the sheets.
Elle and Easton met in college... I loved them from their first encounter. They have it all when they are together... despite the ups and downs, insecurities at times, their relationship and love are always the constant.
Until she reveals her fantasies and he wants to fulfill them for her...
While I felt the couple's love and chemistry, and this book was sexy as hell, I wanted more... what happened after? Was that the only time? What was their relationship like after and did they ultimately fulfill all their hopes and dreams? I wanted all of THAT.
Torre is gifted... there is no doubt and I will read everything she writes. I enjoyed this book immensely and hopeful for more of this couple's story. ❤️

This is a standalone but the ending seems to promise more sexiness to come. The book started out a little slow with how Elle and Easton met and their college life together. A little half way through is when things started to heat up. As you can see in the blurb the heroine has some fantasy that is a little bit forbidden and erotic. She was hesitated to tell her husband at first but eventually Easton felt something was off and they finally talked it out. After seven years of marriage, will they agree to spice things up in the bedroom? Make it more interesting? Love isn’t an issue between Elle and Easton. After all, it is about compromise and making your partner happy and satisfied, right? WHOA! This is one HOT, steamy kinky, erotic married couple romance. For the most part, I love Elle and Easton. They are fun, cute, and crazy in love but they also have some insecurities. I like that this book is not all about sex. There is a nice storyline about relationship, married life, and friendship. This book is a lot of fun, sexy, fast paced, entertaining read.

From the minute I started reading I couldn't stop!!! Sooooo hot! I instantly fell in love with Elle and Easton and couldn't get enough of them, from the time they met in college you knew with how the sparks were flying things were going to be hot once they got together.

This story takes us on a little journey, first on how Elle and Easton met in college, their slow seduction which was definitely foreplay because you knew these two were bound to be together but with their banter it only made things hotter when they ran into one another on campus, then through the early years of their marriage along with the struggles of fallen careers and other obstacles life has thrown in their way, and finally when they are together facing a realization that neither ever saw coming. Elle has sexual fantasies and she is about to share them with her husband.

I absolutely LOVED this story, the struggles were real and I could feel the pain that Elle was dealing with as if they were my own. This story left me wanting MORE, MORE, MORE of Elle and Easton and I really hope Alessandra Torre graces us with another book about them because I honestly couldn't get enough of them.

This book is perfect for anyone (over 17) that enjoys erotic romance that has an established couple as the H and h, and enjoy some very HOT sexual and as well sensual sex scenes.

Happy Reading!!!

4.5 Filthy Stars

First things first, this is not a Love-Triangle or a Marriage-in-Trouble trope.

Short recap: This is about a happily married couple--Elle & Easton-- that begin to explore their voyeuristic fantasies, which then leads to a threesome with one of their best friends. Aaaand there go some of my friends running for the hills. I understand this romance is not for everyone. However, if you're in the mood for something different, if you're looking to push your boundaries, looking for a taboo romance, then get your kink on, this might be for you.

My thoughts?
If felt authentic. Like I was reading about a real couple. It was also slow, but oddly enough, I think that's what made it work for me. Considering what the story is about, the pace was appropriate. It needed a slow build-up in order for me to buy into it. One issue I found was that it went a little too much into the couple's mundane activities (it's why some reviewers called it boring), but maybe that's what made them feel real--relatable. It fleshed them out more. It told me what type of people they were. It showed me they were just a normal couple, and how they'd come to explore their sex life. It also showed how much they truly loved, respected, and worshipped each other. I was convinced of it. I'll admit that at one point I started feeling frustrated because nothing much was happening. But oh my, when that scene I'd been anticipating finally happened...I was at the edge of my seat, I'm surprised I didn't slide off the couch. I felt I was in the room with THEM. Captivated. Wide-eyed. Watching...Shit, am I voyeuristic too? I just kept thinking Oh. My. God. this is...filthy. Please don't stop! It was incredibly erotic. Those few chapters at the end erased anything I might not have liked about the book. I should add, if I had not believed in Easton & Elle's strong bond...in their love, this would not have worked for me. After all, I wanted a romance, not erotica. There is a difference.

HEA?
Their story continues in book 2, but book 1 doesn't end in a major cliffhanger. Maybe it's not even considered a cliffhanger at all. Elle & Easton are still madly in love and happy at the end of book 1. Honestly, I'm wary of where the author will take this couple. I don't want to feel disappointed. But I'm still curious, so on to book 2! Fingers crossed.
