Old Man Vincent is heading for the top of the World-Tree and beyond in the final installment of the World-Tree Trilogy. To get there, he's going to have to overcome titan-sized bosses, strange new worlds, an army of angels, and a seemingly invincible final boss.
EA Hooper is a lifelong storyteller. As a child he made stories with action figures or legos that would go for months on end. In elementary school he made comics during classes. Then in middle school he started writing stories in notebooks for his friends to read, beginning his pursuit of becoming a writer. Eventually he went to Austin Peay State University and earned a Bachelors Degree in English in 2013. He now lives with his wife and their cats.

The whole series makes you think about the role time, friends and reality have on our lives. There was also a lot of really fun and well thought out powers as well as touching moments.
Spoiler alert 🚨 I’ve been holding onto this last book in my kindle since lit was published. I finally read it and I tried taking it slowly knowing it was the last one. Instead I binge read it, I couldn’t put it down. Wow! Amazing story line, characters etc. the ending made me cry.
A little repeatative at places, more tell-y than show-y, but overall a great end. I was hesitant about the turn this book took but in the end I liked it. Also I always appreciate a LitRPG series that knows when to wrap it up.
The author starts a lot of interesting plot points but doesn’t always finish them. It’s understandable considering the scope of the book but it can get annoying.
This book again touches on the theme of obsession. So really you’ve already read it in the first two books.
I really didn’t like the fact Vincent didn’t verbally condemn what Flynn was doing. There is a lot of forgive and forget people’s atrocities in this book.
I’ll give it a middle of the road rating. It was predictable and the ending wasn’t a hoorah for Vince but it wasn’t awful.
For 3/4rs of the book, it is the perfect arc closure book. Just the right amount of heartstring-pulling and closure that really makes for a great trilogy end.
Unfortunately, the first quarter of the book really drags along.puah through it and you won't be disappointed.
One of, if not, the best Trilogies I have read. I could not recommend this story enough. I have read it four or five times now. Audioversion is amazing too, very well done.
World-Tree's End delivers an epic, sweeping finale to those invested in the trilogy. Hooper builds off concepts from his first two novels and balances action with character development as well as some poignant arguments.
Centuries have passed in the game and we open with Vincent respawning onto a special challenge world. He is confronted with the company of an NPC copy of his deceased wife. Eventually, he is reunited with his friends and they resolve to take down ARCUS and crash the game once and for all. A few new minor characters on the heroes side. However it is the primary villain of Rosaria, an archangel with titanic power and sinister motivations, who makes this novel a page turner.
Hooper confronts the reader with themes of loss, obsession, AI sentience, combat ethics, and more in ways that aren't superficial but manage to have depth. Well, about as much depth as one can expect from a sci-fi fiction on the more casual side.
World-Tree's End sweeps across decades with more time skips, something that readers should be used to by now. The audio production is as excellent as the first two with the three-narrator cast returning.
This review is for the entire trilogy. I just started reading books in the LitRPG genre and someone recommended this series and I am so glad they did. This is such a great book series. Unique magic, excellent characters, well-developed gameplay, etc. I just can’t say enough good things about this series. If you like video games, reading, RPGs, or VR, this series is amazing.
4 Stars - I had mixed emotions with this one but overall enjoyed it. At points, I found it boring and felt like the story dragged. At other times, it had me crying in my car. There is a specific part in this book that talks about the end of a video game and an experience with Vincent's wife. That bit broke me. Loneliness is often overlooked, but it can easily be one of the most devastating parts of life. Spend more time with your loved ones, we don't know how long we get with them.

The story took a unique spin on things In a litRPG. Vince is truly the most honorable and kind character I’ve ever seen. His story through the books left me with nothing but want of more of Vincent’s life after World Tree, as he deserves nothing but the best life and company through his days.
Cannot say enough how much I liked this book amd the series. Truely a great ending that foes with the rules set out in the world. Multiple things to thing about after the stories over. Will miss this world.
This trilogy built amazing energy with the first, book had awesome challenges presented to the heroes with the second, and did not disappoint with the speed and conclusion of the third. I could not put this book down. I look forward to more from this amazing author.
Really good story great characters highly recommended the only downside I would say about the story because of the length of the in-game storyline it has to be broken up so the character growth seems to be very rapid and a lot happens outside of reader's view
I really enjoyed this series. To be honest as I reached the end of the last book I felt a little panic and alot of regret that I was about to leave these new friends behind. I would highly recommend this series, its action packed, well written and a magical ride.
Many of these litRPG books begin to blend together, but this World-Tree trilogy is the most memorable and well written thus far. I cried at the end of the last book. So amazing. Read this series - you will not regret it!
This was an awesome book and I thoroughly enjoyed it... the story was amazing, the characters were great and overall it was a great read. I would highly recommend this book and the whole trilogy, a definite good read.
Well, it is more of a 5-. Not a 5+. But definitely better than the first 2 in the trilogy. Still has some of the same issues... or at least what I perceive as issues. Whatever. Nice to not be disappointed with the 3rd book in this trilogy.
enjoyed it very much. the only thing still bothering me is that they act like dying for years is nothing at all. the final boss fight was very good, but what happened after kind of ruined it. all in all this was a great final book. closed everything and was very interesting.
This was simply a beautiful story of how it took 362 years for an old man to get over his wife's passing. This series literally brought tears to my eyes. You won't regret reading this series.
The beginning of the book beat the first two by miles! The middle section kinda dragged on a little but I still read every word until the last standoff. And what a sweet ending.
All in all, a very good journey. Well worth the read!
Just epic! Vince and Jim and Xan and Quinn along with all the new crew just continue to adventure and take on arkus trying to beat the world tree. This final book in the trilogy have me all the feels! I loved it all and the ending was perfect!
I loved the series. The last book was pretty good. However, the ending felt rushed. Don't know if there's a spin-off series but it felt like the eqpilogue was rushed and thrown together. Probably my only gripe.
