Hot damn! As we already seen in book one with Dr. Kink, these two really love their role play!! The book begins (at first unknown to the reader) with an intense taboo play of a father and his son -fantasy. *phew
This shorter book sets up nicely the poly romance for the next book when Dom Geoff surprises his boy Misha by fulfilling one long-awaited fantasy that involves Geoff’s best friend from college, Lukas. (I won’t spoiler the nature of this particular fantasy.)
With only 3hrs on the audio and two major scenes played out on page, this was practically an erotica with an established couple role playing and inviting others to their scenes. But oh so hot and kinky.
*CW: no cheating but sharing, playing with others and voyeurism

Misha y Geoff han estado en una relacion exclusiva desde hace mas de 3 anos, manteniendo una sana vida sexual llena de Kinks y fantasias. Asi que Misha no puede hacer mas que amar con todo su corazon a Geoff, y agradecer lo feliz que son como pareja, y lo bien que se complementan, dentro y fuera de la habitacion.
Pero hay una fantasia de Misha que es muy dificil de lograr, porque requiere a un extrano dentro de su casa. Asi que cuando su Master logra cumplir tambien esta fantasia con un hombre que Misha no conoce, pero que resulta ser el mejor amigo de Geoff, Lukas, Misha siente que hay una conexion real. Pero eso no sera una traicion a su relacion con Geoff? Que pensara su Master de que el quiera estar con su mejor amigo?
Este libro me decepciono un poco, primero porque esperaba un libro de Brad y Andy, despues porque comienza con una escena de "Papa-hijo" de lo mas incestuosa, y porque no senti que tuviera una trama real, sino solo una serie de escenas eroticas una detras de otra que no llevaban a ninguna parte, ademas de que la trama parecia que comenzara al final del libro cuando trajeron al personaje de Lukas.
Me gustaron las escenas eroticas, muy explicitas y bien disenadas, me gusto la facil camaraderia de los subs entre si, al igual que los Doms entre si, me gusto la personalidad de los protas, ademas que quiero saber como va a desarrollarse lo del trio, asi que voy a leer el ultimo libro.
Si el autor hubiera hecho de este un intermedio, como una especie de epilogo largo, me hubiera gustado mas, pero bueno, vamos al ultimo a ver como termina la serie con el trio y si podemos averiguar algo mas de Brad y Andy, u otro de los subs solteros que aparecieron en el primer libro.

Ugh I don’t even have to say much, besides that this one was as hot (or even a bit hotter), then the previous book. I absolutely was a sucker for their roleplays! I can’t wait to finish this series!!

Whoah, it started right away very naughty and arousing. Jeezzz I was in from the very first word!
Geoff and Misha are full-time Dom/s. Geoff will do everything to fulfill Misha’s dreams. Misha is in heaven with his Sir. With Geoff sometimes away for his job he still knows how to give his boy what he needs. His friend Lukas is a helpful one.
Be prepared for some delicious scorching scenes!

I love the wonderful characters of the men. I loved how kind and honest they were and I loved how it all was put together. The writing style was very appealing, I absorbed every word. I do hope this will have a continuation because mannnn it’s all you can wish for in the world of Doms and subs.

Oh my goodness, this is awesome to read, Cody just owned my heart after awhile. It's a short read, but packs a punch. I knew this would be up my street because these ladies know how to write Kink. So many feels even laughing at sometimes,.

I loved the first book. It took me a long time to read this one. I don’t usually care for 3 ways. I prefer my men one on one. However, there are exceptions. Sometimes it just feels right. Misha, Lucas , Geoff are one of those times. I can’t wait to read book 3.

I enjoyed Geoff and Misha's story. They are one of my favorite couples from book one. I will admit that I was thrown by the beginning scenario. Ms. David was very life like with the role play. I wasn't sure I was reading the right book at first. I had to read the blurb again to make sure. But when it was all said and done I'm looking forward to seeing how they can add Lukas to there sexy relationship.

So, I started out annoyed that the book jumped into an existing couple feeling like I had missed something previously. I guess this was more about Geoff and Misha navigating their current relationship and then their decision to bring Lucas in after they spend a weekend with him. I mean the sex was hot but I just didn’t feel the characters or the story all that much. I’m going with 3 stars because it was alright but not great for me. I just wish there was some building up and actual background on their relationship more.

Finding a Plus One for a Couple!

I have had so many mixed feelings about this series so far. The first book had some great secondary characters but the lead characters were just not very interesting at all. Well this 2nd installment features two of those great secondary characters from the first book. And it is better than the first book because I really like these characters as well as the other characters used here. The book is very steamy -- much hotter than the first one. Those scenes are written very well, but where the book is a let down to some degree is that there just isn't much build-up to help you understand what brought this couple to where they are now.
I loved them in the first book and wanted to know more about how they got together, etc. --- more of their back story. I did love the picture we get of their current relationship and how they navigate through the lifestyle. The scenes with their friends were also well done.
I really hope we get a continuation of this couple/throuple in the future. This wasn't perfect but much better than the first installment.

This book was SO hot! I almost don’t want to describe too much because there are a few surprises in here and I don’t want to spoil the plot for you!
Let’s just say if you loved book 1 you will definitely love book 2.
This was so well plotted for a novella. It’s kinky but there is such love and care as well.

well yum.. and daaayum. and im not sure what else to say. this was hott.. this was sexy.. this was so much fun with kinky.. haha.. it was all around just an amazing story and these 2 authors together is so much fun to read.. you never know what you are getting into and it is enjoyable.

note to authors, don't start a book with an immersive morally gray role play scene, okay thanks.
seriously, I've never been so close to dnfing a book within the first 15 pages. This book has a fairly ambiguous summary and without reading reviews prior, you wouldn't know that the MCs are Geoff and Misha, two side characters from the first book who have a propensity for role play kink. This book starts by throwing you into a very believable and immersive role play involving an 18year old and his step dad. It is exceptionally morally gray and without the knowledge that it was a role play, it was icky and uncomfortable.
Once you get past that first scene though, the book is good. I really love Geoff and Misha and the addition of Lukas made me super happy. I don't know that this needed to be it's own book and that it could've just been connected to the last book as a whole vs separating.

TW - Full disclosure, the story opens up in a taboo dom/sub scene. I completely forgot that this series has very detailed and intense scenes. I was a couple chapters in, when the scene ended, before I realized it was a scene. (I don’t really have many true triggers that will make me immediately stop a book. I was giving it a few chapters before investigating on here� but I was getting close with the prolonged opening scene.)
It also has a different taboo scene later in the book that was a little tough, even knowing that the code words/phrases to indicate full consent were used by both dom and sub (most important).
All that said, the ending was actually sweet, given the nature of the series.

The audiobook didn’t include any warnings, which would have been nice to know. This was a little too taboo and out there for me, but I can appreciate the storyline overall. I think the next book will be better than this, but not sure if I’ll continue. 2.5 out of 5 stars? Rounding up for now, but maybe round down if I think about it more.

This was Kinky with a capital K. Without going into detail, because the opening scene explodes on the page (and may burn up your e-reader), I'll say that if anyone has any triggers related to daddy kink, rape scenes, age play, etc., please don't read this. On the other hand, if those are your kinks or at least some of your kinks, you'll dive right in and love it.
The featured couple in this story may be considered established so there's no slow buildup of romance and most of the story involves their sexual relationship so, again, if that's a turn off, don't even read the first chapter.
But those who are looking for a hot read that has plenty of kinky scenes should definitely enjoy.

The opening chapters were amazingly hot! I was about to message someone who loves 'cesty stories when...oh, that's what's going on, I get it! I have a feeling I won't be waiting too long before reading book 3!

This was basically fun smut to set up the following book's relationship development, I enjoyed it and it was nice to find old characters from the previous book and to get to know the MCs better.
This book is really roleplay heavy considering how much the MCs like it, and I wasn't as bothered by it as I thought I would be but as someone who really struggles with roleplay both irl and in writing I prefer to give other people a heads up 😅

Misha's permanent, live-in Dom, lives to fulfill Misha's fantasies. So when Open Encounters started off, I was a bit unsure where it was heading. When it started heading the way it appeared to be heading, I was kinda apprehensive, but thank God it turned out to be just a very hot, very naughty little interlude between Geoff and his boy, Misha.
And then the heat is turned way up when another of Misha's fantasies/kinks is fulfilled...Damn!!
Although I haven't read the first story in this series, I would say Open Encounters is easily a standalone, although, now I am definitely planning on reading , after having loved this one so much. Misha and Geoff are a great couple, with like minds and desires, made even better with the addition of a third, equally awesome Dom in Lukas. If you like your menages with 3 hot men and kinky naughtiness, I'd say you should download your own copy of Open Encounters!

Der Dom Geoff und sein Sub Misha führen eine 24/7 Beziehung und sind damit sehr glücklich. Allerdings ist Geoff oft auf Reisen und von seinem Sub getrennt. So muss Geoff sich dann schon was einfallen lassen um seinen Sub glücklich und bei Laune zu halten. Dabei ist Misha durchaus glücklich. Er führt ein tolles Leben mit seinem Dom, hat Freunde und auch sonst passt für ihn alles. Nur die ständigen Trennungen nagen ein wenig an ihm und manchmal fühlt er sich dann doch etwas einsam.
Beide Charaktere kennt man schon aus dem ersten Teil der Reihe. Der Beginn des Buches ist ... schräg. Aber nach zwei Kapitel klärt sich dann ja doch alles auf und man weiß als Leser: Alles gut, wir sind auf dem richtigen Weg. Aber die Autorinnen haben mich wirklich auf dem falschen Fuß erwischt, überrascht und für den ersten Moment ein wenig sprachlos zurückgelassen. Da hat dann meine kleine prüde, gut versteckte Seele, doch einen kurzen Schreckmoment bekommen.
Im Laufe des Buches erfährt man eben mehr von der Dynamik dieser Beziehung. Von den Träumen, Sehnsüchten und Erwartungen beider Helden. Meist wollen sie das Gleiche, manchmal schaffen sie es immer noch, sich gegenseitig zu überraschen. Und dieser Aspekt hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Auch, dass Geoff sich eben immer etwas Neues einfallen lässt und dabei sehr genau auf die Bedürfnisse seines Subs eingeht. Selbst wenn ihm die Grundidee zu Beginn vielleicht nicht immer gefallen mag.
Auch zum Ende hin gibt es für den Leser noch eine weitere Überraschung. Und zwar in Form eines dritten Mannes. Er ist der beste Freund von Geoff und ebenfalls ein Dom. Die Szene zwischen den drei Männern ist unglaublich gut und heiß geschrieben. Jedoch lässt sie mich auch ein wenig nachdenklich zurück. Es fühlt sich so an, als würde man mir ein Schnitzel hinstellen, aber ich es nicht essen dürfen. Während ich von Kink Chronicles #1 wirklich begeistert war, s. meine Review /review/show... bin ich nach dem Lesen von #2 einfach nur enttäuscht. Das begann mit der Tatsache, dass mir gleich zu Anfang die Protagonisten verweigert wurden, mit denen ich fest gerechnet habe, schließlich ist es als ihr Buch angekündigt worden. Ich war also von Anfang an ziemlich, ich denke "genervt" trifft es ziemlich gut, dass ich bis zum dritten Kapitel warten musste, bis die zwei Herren, die mir angekündigt wurden auch wirklich da waren. Stattdessen wurde ich mit zwei, mir völlig fremden Figuren konfrontiert, die komplett aus dem Zusammenhang gerissen erscheinen. Auch im weiteren Verlauf der Geschichte konnte ich keine Verbindung zu den beiden aufbauen. Da war nichts Greifbares, und als ich anfing auf ein wenig Story und Plot zu hoffen hieß es plötzlich "The End�. Or is it?" Und ich sass mit einem dicken Fragezeichen im Gesicht da. Wie schon zu Ende? Enttäuschenderweise ist nämlich "Open Encounters" nicht mal halb so lang wie "Open Mind". Und das geht ganz klar zulasten der Handlung und der Interaktion mit dem Rest der Truppe. Ich habe den Eindruck gewonnen, dass das ganze einfach nur so eine Art "Taboo-Nummernrevue" ist, in die man mit müh' und Not ein paar Zeilen über die anderen Paare rein gequetscht hat. Da hilft auch der sexy Dritte nicht, der da plötzlich auftaucht. Ich hätte lieber noch über Zachs unfreiwillige Shopping-Tour gelesen, oder über die nächste Kink-Party die geplant wurde. Ich kann mich des Eindrucks leider nicht erwehren, dass hier die Geschichte künstlich kurz gehalten wurde, denn die Hinweise auf weitere Geschichten, die sich durch den Band ziehen sind ziemlich zahlreich. Irgendwie war es Kink-Chronicles #1,5 und nicht #2. Daher reicht es auch nur für 3,5 Sterne, weil dieser Band einfach nicht an Band 1 heranreicht.

Yes!! Loved this so much!
First off I have to praise the authors for the way they started this book. I was like " Wait what and who... ". Best opening ever!! I was curious and wanting to know more about Geoff and Misha when I read Open Mind. Now I want more. Without revealing too much here I do have to say I hope we are how things are going. If really love to see it play out and grow. So good I read it twice lol.

Fun with role play kink
Whoa, that opening taboo scene was a scorcher, like uncomfortably so. These authors have no qualms about 'going there'. They passed inappropriate a few thousand words back and we're still here with our dirty little minds reading it. Was disappointed we wouldn't get to know the characters more until I found out the next book is a continuation of their story, so off I go...

Holy smokes is this book hot. It starts off with an intense role play that drags you in. Misha and Geoff are fantastic together but when Lukas is introduced it’s almost perfect. I love mmm especially mmm that is done beautifully making sure characters don’t feel left out.

The ending of this story is a bit of a bait & switch. I liked it, and didn’t feel so weirded out by the taboo theme. The build up to, and actual scene, was really hot.

I’m very clearly not the target audience for this or something. I don’t understand all the high ratings for this book (or maybe it’s best to call this a novella). If you somehow managed to not DNF this story, it takes almost a third of the way through to get to the point.
Trigger warnings for consensual BDSM implied noncon, incest, and rape scenes.
I did DNF the first book in this series, but not for any reason in particular. It was just to by-the-numbers explaining everything. Well, this one started off in the complete opposite direction and explained nothing. Those who are smarter than me would have caught on earlier and would be fine with this, I suppose. But it’s not obvious what’s going on until way later in the story.
What isn’t obvious and why I did DNF this the first time I read it, is that the first 27% or so is a BDSM DD/lb scene. The chapter headings just list “boy� and “Daddy� but the character names in this first section don’t match the ones in the blurb because the characters are in a role-playing scene. The scene is a dubcon/incest scene between a father and his son and it is NOT OBVIOUS that this was all within a scene until it’s over. If all parties are consenting to a dubcon scene, great. If it’s not obvious, what is the point? Like, I think the idea behind the characters and the story arc is fine with it leading into a full-length book but the execution of how everything played out in this was not great.
The rest of the story is about Misha and Geoff finding a good third for their relationship in Geoff’s best friend from college named Luke. Geoff surprises Misha by fulfilling one of his darkest fantasies (a rape scene by a stranger) and everything works out and they have code words worked out and everything. That’s fine. What I have an issue with is Misha. He’s VERY over the top and I thought he came off as incredibly annoying. Geoff and Luke were normal, but Misha was so extra, he didn’t feel like a person and more like a caricature of what a submissive should be?
I wonder if he’s more likable in the sequel but I’m don’t sure I can read a full-length book of Misha.
