A Tiny House Mystery #2

Caper Goes Missing

Rate this book
It was an addiction, really.

One she couldn’t kick through no fault of her own.

It wasn’t CJ Turley’s fault that someone stuck her dog, Caper, in a canoe in the middle of the lake. She also couldn’t help that Caper kept bringing her diamonds from a recent jewel heist in town.

Any homebody seeking adventure would do the same thing, right? Gather your gumshoeing friends and find a jewel thief. What could possibly go wrong?

The small town Tiny House community of Heavenly Acres is thrust into yet another mystery that might be CJ’s undoing.

Grab this frolicking small town cozy mystery by a best-selling, award-winning author.

Fans of Celia Bonaduce’s Tiny House novels and Cindy Bell’s Dune House cozy mystery series will enjoy this tiny house mystery series.

I hadn’t read in this series for so long and hadn’t realized until reading this book that I’d missing this series. Thanks to whatever it was I saw that reminded me, I borrowed book 2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially now the characters seemed like old friends. And that was only after the second book!

What a wild adventure! Caper was such a sweet pup but definitely a little stinker that got into trouble. I sure hadn’t expected the little plot twist at the end, and now I can’t wait to read the next book.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend...........

A great read with an unexpected twist at the end. A plot of a jewellery heist, a dog addicted to bling, a murder and some nosy civilians. You might get part of the solution as it is pretty obvious but there is more to find out Great characters that pull the story together although Mags could have been a bit more sarcastic.
When her dog comes to her with a pouch of diamonds, she is drawn into the case of the stole jewels and jewellery in town. Now not only has she been left in charge of the tiny houses, the camping ground but also her curiosity is aroused by the theft. Is it someone staying at a tiny house or the camping ground? Add in more jewels and jewellery, a murder, a stolen dog, a kidnapped ranger and a police bodyguard. Will they work out who? Will they get the dog and ranger back?

Caper goes missing

This author did a great job of weaving a tail full of mystery, suspense, romance and friendship into all the twist and turns in the plot to keep me reading to the end. I could just shut my eye and see vividly this tiny town, the park and the characters. I just found a favorite new author! I look forward to the rest in this series, and the other series this author has written too!
