His offer: 365 days and nights = $1 million
My addendum: I’m not doing that
His promise: Before the year is up, you’ll beg for it

My days of lying and stealing are over, but then Nicholas Crawford makes me an offer I can’t refuse. Spend a year pretending to be his significant other in exchange for $1 million dollars.

I tried to put that part of my life, and those hard-won skills, behind me. But I need the money. He needs a partner.

I told him that I’d never sleep with him. He promised me that I would end up begging for it. Now, I want him more than ever.

Especially when I run my fingers over his chiseled body and he teases me with his tongue.

Especially when he puts his hands on the small of my back and kisses me.

I want him so much I am going to scream. I want him so much…I might even beg.

UGH

This series is bogged down by useless information, it is upsetting me that I paid $4.99 each for this series of books. I am deleting them from my kindle after I read each one. Don't waste your money!

The story is ridiculous and leaves holes in the plot. This is by no means a great book but I do want to read the next book. Why? I wish I knew.

I hate leaving reviews like this, but I had to.

There was a lot of the book that annoyed me when it came to the female mc. There are so many books where men talk down to women and it's supposed to be "hot" "sexy" and "oh so good." It's not. Okay, it's not. This guy is a dick and he barely treats her nicely. When she cries, he callously talks down to her and leaves her alone. I'm not on board with this. Sorry!

Olive goes to Hawaii with Nicholas because he's offered her a deal. He's given her some money to help her mother out. So, she goes along with him without knowing what she's supposed to do. It seems that he's left her there to test her ability to handle a situation. The first incidence, he swaps out a necklace. She was meant to be a distraction. There are two more situations where he tests her and confuses her by telling her it's not a good idea. Then she does it anyway and she's in danger.

I don't like the way that Nicholas talks to her and the way he treats her. I also don't understand why she blindly follows him after finding out what kind of person he is. He's killed before yet she's not afraid of him. He's awful to her and she's so hellbent on going through with this plan. Instead, she's attracted to him. Yet, he won't have sex with her unless she "begs." There is a lot of teasing and almost moments. However, they never have sex in the book.

I finished it, but I found myself having a hard time getting into this and believing it. She's offered a million dollars to be his partner for a year. Yet, she wanted to save her brother from getting out of prison. At the beginning of the book, he tells her no. Then at the end of the book, he tells her no. He doesn't even know her but he's controlling. There's a "reason" for it, but it wasn't really believable to me.

The book also ends mid-plot in an attempt to get the reader to buy the next book. I'm sorry, I wasn't interested in what happens next.

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--TELL ME TO GO is the second instalment in Charlotte Byrd’s contemporary, adult TELL ME erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on Nicholas Crawford and Olive Kernes. TELL ME TO GO should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff-hanger of TELL ME TO STOP.

SOME BACKGROUND: When an unknown benefactor pays off Olive Kernes student loans, our heroine doesn’t question but soon discovers that the mystery donor is looking for something more.

Told from first person perspective (Olive Kernes) TELL ME TO GO picks up immediately after the events of book one wherein Nicholas Crawford propositions our heroine for one year/one million dollars if Olive plays along with Nicholas plans. Having paid off Olive’s debts, and those of her deceitful mother’s, Nicholas makes Olive an offer she cannot refuse, an offer that places our heroine in the direct line of fire. Ready to move forward, Olive accepts Nicholas proposal, a proposal that is much more than Olive could have imagined.

TELL ME TO GO is a quick read; a dramatic and erotic story of deception and double cross; a tale of betrayal and revenge; of secrets, lies, retribution and protection. The premise is intriguing; the characters are charismatic but lost; the romance struggles in the face of too many secrets and the mystery as to why Olive has been pulled into Nicholas life.

I will be honest, I didn’t do my research and discovered, after the fact, TELL ME TO GO is book two, and I found myself reading numerous reviews of Tell Me to Stop, in an effort to understand what was happening and why. My bad ! I had to piece together spoilers, and the author’s clues throughout this particular instalment in order to follow the story line premise. I went back and read the first instalment...all is right in my world.

Let's just say that I'm not really impressed with this one, and I reckon will read the next book in this series... I barely can finish this book in one sitting because it's just? What are you trying to do?

I take back what I said before if this book reminded me of 365DNI, this was nowhere like that! Indecisive hero, and what-are-you-trying-to-do heroine just not for me. The storyline was bizzare and not in a good way. I tried my best to connect and follow but I failed, every time I turn to the next page, the more I get confused and ask myself, what did I just read?

Turns out they're being a con couple and later in the chapter this book turns into mystery one. I had enough really... The inconsistency between the characters and the storyline itself just epic. Plus, additional the whole 'I'll make you beg for it' sex scene just annoying. The hero failed to execute it into this hot sizzling and made me as a reader feel intrigued, instead I feel annoyed.

Overall? I don't know if I'm going to read the next book💆

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Favorite character: Nicholas (with his fione ass ☺️)

Charlotte really makes you think you know exactly what young Olive is getting herself into 🤔 then BOOM! Nope! Nobody sees it coming. I really am enjoying this series & I'm not typically a series gal. Hell, I think this is my very first book series I've gotten into besides all of the Alex Crosses by James Patterson that i can never seem to understand the order of. However, I love not being able to predict the mysterious outcome & being thrilled while staying up late to see what happens next. 🙃

There are times when things seem too good to be true, but that's leading up to the plot twists.

Pros: Quick, nice read, straight forward, several plot twists.

Cons: Unbelievable moments

Charlotte made me purchase Kindle Unlimited, so her & I now have a love-hate relationship 😅

Tell Me To Go by Charlotte Byrd
Wow, Wow, Wow, I have already fallen in love with Olive and Nicholas and can't wait for what is in store for them in the coming next few books. We also get to find out about Olive older brother. I am already hooked on this series. There are so many things going on in this book and the last one that I couldn't stop reading till the end, and now I want to know what is going to happen next. The characters are so well written that it is like you know them. I highly recommend this book and the first book in this series, as it has moved to my number one favorite series. I received an advanced reader copy from bookfunnel and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.

I didn't like Olive or Nick. I didn't feel like there was much chemistry between them. To be honest it was a business transaction for him and for her it was a means to the end. Which I get. Why complicate it more?

I get that Nick is using Olive, what for? A big job is my guess. He's testing her now. Each job is amped up. She takes the bate and rises to the occasion. Eventually, she will fall and be collateral damage to Nick.

This book was recommended to me by Amazon and I'm not sure I'll ever trust the algorithm again. It wasn't until I finished this book that I realized I was on Book 2 of a 6 part series to tell one long, convoluted, absurd story about 3 characters. I ended up skimming the last 4 books in the hopes that the hours I invested into this book would pay off later. Turns out that this series had no reason to be longer than a single book, and was generally an implausible waste of time with characters that were amazingly under-developed, especially for having 6 books to tell their stories. I didn't enjoy anything about this reading experience, and would highly recommend you abandon ship if an algorithm tries to suck you into this pit of nonsense. Hard pass on anything by this author in the future.

Maybe because this is the second book in Tell Me series, it felt like playing "catch up" all the way until the end, which then ended in a cliff-hanger.

Olive gets an offer to spend 365 days with Nicholas for a million dollars, but for what? There's chemistry between them, but he won't sleep with her UNTIL she begs him. Will she or won't she?

There's more going on than meets the eye, and it may have to do with her brother Owen.

Olive isn't squeaky clean as she's done some cons (shoplifting, other theft), but neither is Nicholas as he's done his fair share of criminal acts.

Chapter titles are part of the text.

There are some WTT (smirks and winks, mostly), too. Not sure whether to continue the series (going back to the beginning and/or going onto the next book).

Book two was just as good, and I can’t wait for book #3! The chapters just fly by and next thing you know, you’re done! The amount of surprises and plot twists are the perfect amount and hit at the right time. The cliff hanger at the end of this book has me excited for #3!

If you’re still thinking about staring this series. Do it!

Book 2 was much better than book 1 because things actually started to happen. It’s kind of annoying that she leaves it hanging so you’ll HAVE read the next one. I’m not super super invested but it’s very easy to read (not sure that’s a good thing) and I kind of want to see what happens next.

This series continues to keep me on my toes. I still hate it’s a whole series and not just one book but it’s still an easy quick read. I feel like feelings for each other came quicker than natural but the tension between them is great. 3⭐️

Ok this is more I like it! The twist (finally!) I’m still unsure between the FMC and MMC, still think they’re at the lust phase rather than the love phase which is fine but I’m looking forward (and hoping) for the shift!

This is the second book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. Nicolas and Olive’s story continues. Olive is getting a million dollars to pretend to be with Nicolas for a year. As they spend time together sparks fly between them. Olive’s brother learns what she is doing and doesn’t what her near Nicolas. What will happen when Nicolas learns all of Olive’s secrets? This is a fast-paced steamy, intense read with loads of drama and suspense. I was hooked from beginning to end. Can’t wait for more! I loved it!

Charolotte Byrd’s TELL ME TO GO is a captivating story of Olive Kernes and Nicholas Crawford. It’s dark, full of suspense, lust, secrets, it’s mysterious, lies, deceitful, and on the edge of your seat fantastic. This dramatic series will keep you glued to each book. I definitely recommend this book, series and author. I’m so looking forward to reading the next book. TELL ME TO STAY. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

VERY SHORT. The author could’ve easily combined the first two books and nothing really happened in this one either!! I read the reviews for the next one (there are 6) and found that this is typical (short in length, but drawn out in storyline) AND the author mentions herself AGAIN as Olive’s favorite author (in the 3rd)... so weird IMO. I don’t think I’ll read anymore, not worth the $ to buy 200 page books where nothing happens.

I liked the writing and, overall, the story of this novel. Unfortunately, it is terribly short, and it ends on a cliff-hanger. I feel like this author has perhaps split one or two novels into many 'parts' in order to increase sales. I have since realised I have the sequeal on my Kindle already, so I will probably read the next one - but will be sad if it's another cliff hanger.

I haven't read the first novel in this series, but this didn't impact my enjoyment.

This book is intense my god I can't get enough it is steamy, seductive with so many secrets twists and turns and were just hitting the surface as Olive is stuck in a impossible situation of lies and truths and what to believe , she is one brave girl. The writing is captivating and sucks you in and I need more.

Only 2nd part of story, NOT a whole book

This would be a 5 star book if it WAS a book instead of just the 2nd section of a book. I got the first section free and paid for this one but can't bring myself to buy another one when there are five sections to the story. I hate a cliffhanger and Ms Byrd has each section ending this way.
