Kristy Marie is an international bestselling author who loves writing temperamental heroes who fall hard for strong and witty heroines.
She enjoys harassing her three children and husband for all the hugs and will attempt to grow anything green. She also reads all things romance and can be caught being naughty by enjoying a chapter or two before her 9 p.m. bedtime.
When Kristy's not writing broody alphas or hugging babies, you can catch her in pajamas watching baseball and yelling at the TV. Go Braves!
Anniston and Theo are one of my favorite couples of all time for a reason. Theo is a hot, hilarious, alphahole with a hidden heart of gold, and Anniston is one of the sassiest, strongest, and most loving heroines I've ever read. Their love story is bumpy, backwards, and breathtakingly beautiful. I've experienced every emotion possible as a result of these two, and they will always have a huge piece of my heart.
I was first introduced to these characters in Commander, and I fell in love with them immediately. In that book, we watched them go from best friends with benefits to the couple they were always meant to be. Pitcher opens with a badass young Ans getting suspended for punching a bully in the nose and subsequently meeting and critiquing a cocky, shirtless Theo's basketball skills. It's honestly one of my favorite scenes of the series. From there, we observe a myriad of moments we didn't get to witness in any of the previously published novels. These scenes fill in the blanks of their story in a way I never knew I wanted.
Despite Theo and Annsiton being my favorite characters in the Commander in Briefs series, I will be honest and say that I was more excited for Tim's book than I was this novella. I already know how Theo and Ans end up, and I wanted something new. Plus, we all know they would be present in his book, too. Kristy Marie never leaves any of her characters out of her books (with the exception of this one of course), so I wouldn't miss them either way.
Well. I am a complete dumbass. LOL The origin of this couple is EVERYTHING! I smiled so fucking hard my face hurt. I cried. I laughed, and I fell in love with them both all over again. I didn't think it was possible for me to adore them more than I already did, but I was so wrong.
Pitcher is as close to perfection as I can imagine it being. It's cute, funny, heartwarming, emotional, angsty, and just downright fucking amazing. It's on the shorter side, but it's the perfect size for what it sets out to accomplish.
If you've never read anything from this author, go one-click this one now! I recommend it to everyone. If you're a romance fan, put it on your tbr or better yet, read it today. Have Commander on standby, because trust me, when you're finished with Pitcher, you're going to want to dive into that one asap.
If you've read book 1 and think you don't need this one, you're mistaken. I would go as far as to say this is a must read. This series wouldn't be here without Ans and Theo, and I promise you, it will give you a greater appreciation for them and complete their story in a way you never realized you needed. Bottom line, read it. You'll love it. If you enjoy phenomenal writing, alphaholes, fierce females, and possess a sense of humor in any capacity, you couldn't ask for more.
If you haven't met Theo Von Bremen yet, you have no idea what you're missing. He's an alphahole I can't help but salivate over. Whenever he's a jerk, my heart races with excitement. Whenever he sabotages every man's move towards Anniston, I'm not-so-secretly cheering him on. Hardcore. And whenever he acknowledges, at least to himself, just how much he loves his best friend and how desolate his life would be without her, my body get's all swoony. I could do without the pettiness these two wear as a second skin. I could also give a hard pass to the fun and games that are anything but fun. But I guess without the negative aspects, I wouldn't be able to appreciate the beauty of their imperfection. With this prequel, the author perfectly captured the sparks that started to fly between Anniston and Theo, changing their relationship forever, making them one of my favorite couples of all time.
I absolutely loved everything there is to love about Anniston and Theo and their rare and different relationship. Pitcher was the perfect introduction to the Commander in Briefs series and one I could not get enough of.
Theo was an unbelievably charming and cocky alpha who not only made me fan myself constantly and made my heart beat a million times a second, but he also made me lose it in fits of laughter. Anniston is just beautiful and inspiring. She may not have had the easiest of lives, but she never gave up. She is sassy and determined with a fighting spirit that is truly remarkable. I was completely immersed into these characters and the world that Kristy Marie has created and I could not have loved it anymore.
The more I read, the more I wanted. Kristy Marie has crafted the ultimate story with flawless writing and characters you can’t help but be drawn to instantly. The angst, the anticipation and the humor had me fully invested and as previously stated Pitcher is the perfect novella for Commander in Briefs. I could not recommend this enough. The series, in itself is spectacular.
I love Anniston and Theo, and their wholly unique relationship. Coupled with the signature humor of Kristy Marie, readers have a must read introduction to her Commander in Briefs standalone series.
Theo is a typical and yet not so typical sports hero - cocky and self assured. He whole-heartedly does not ever apologize for his behavior nor his manipulation of others to get Anniston all to himself. He also makes no attempt to hide his desire of her to others and his willingness to be devious when it comes to her. What is the most unique though is that Anniston is exactly the same. She is just as devious, just as manipulative, and just as possessive of Theo as he is of her.
I found their relationship to be completely entertaining and funny. Are there moments of frustration? Yes. Especially because they both know how the other feels, but there are extenuating circumstances holding them back. There is little to no conflict in the book, and yet I was still entertained by their antics, and I knew at the conclusion that I absolutely needed their full novel.
I am loving the world Kristy Marie has created. Her writing is a fresh voice in the rom-dramady world, and I am absolutely loving every single thing I read from her.
This book popped up on my Kindle Unlimited and I didn't realize that it was a .5 Prologue book for Theo and Anniston but once I started I was invested in finding out what happened between them. And while it wasn't a bad book I just felt like nothing actually happened to explain their characters or bring them together. The big scene that this novella hinted at didn't even happen until the novel so really this book just wasn't all that necessary for their characters.
you know damn well i had to come back from my hiatus just to write this review bc of how angry this book had made me.
i only read this book bc i loveddd “Rebellious by Kristy Marie and apparently this book was a novella on the parents. i was so pumped, the parents were so cute in the other book! my sorry butt has never been more wrong.
first off, the h and H has been best friends for years. since they were 14 years old and of course madly in love with each other but couldn’t do anything about it. why you might ask? the Hero is not ready to settle down. bish i want to bitch slap you into the other dimension. this is abominable. he is constantly parading his one night stands in front of the heroine and constantly talks about blowjobs or hooking up with other women in his point of view, all while claiming to love the heroine so so much but couldn’t make a move bc he was ‘scared of his feelings and doesn’t want to settle down. this man is graduating college! the audacity!
i was irrevocably furious. and get this!!!! the H turns into hulk when another man even looks at the heroine and scares off any guy that remotely gets within 5 feet of her. so there’s absolutely no surprise that the heroine is a virgin while her best friend, the Hero goes off and screws every living, breathing women and is constantly bringing them over to the apartment where SURPRISE! both the h and the H share! what a grand romance story 🤭😍
normally, i would overlook some of the OW but we were constantly reminded of them in every single chapter and i was getting more and more mad ☺️
safety: lol not safe. manwhore H, many OWD, many scenes with OW, many remarks about OW, heroine is a virgin 🤣
i should get a medal for finishing this novella but get this; their love story isn’t even finished! their entirety is in the first book of this series. i would rather jab my eye out <3 toodles!
This is the story of how Anniston and Theo began. An EPIC friends-to-lovers romance! A love that started at fourteen and just continued to grow. Friendship that meant more than anyone else. Get ready for All The feels!!
Theo was the same at fourteen as he was as a grown man, a total smart ass. The day Anniston met Theo they bonded over their love of sports and an instant friendship began. Anniston was his anchor. Theo was her family. Their mutual respect and love is the stuff of dirty fairytales!
I cannot say enough about this relationship. It’s beautiful. It’s complicated. It’s loving and jealous. It’s supportive and unconditional! It’s every-freaking-thing we dream about! I adore these characters and I can never get enough of them. I loved learning about their beginning. It just made me love them more.
The author created more than just wonderful characters, she created a family. She gave us a forever friendship and an unconditional love that we will measure all other love stories against. If you loved this introduction to Theo and Ans, you need to read the rest of this series. It’s an all time favorite!
I really enjoyed this prequel to the Commander In Briefs series. Since I have already started the next book Commander I can tell you right now that you absolutely NEED to read this book first. I would have most likely stopped at somewhere around 15% on the Commander book had I have not read this first. I don’t want to explain why because I don’t want to give anything away.
Let me just make it clear that you will be VERY glad you read this book prior to starting the series. Without it you might have a hard time understanding relationships in this series
I can't even describe how much I'm in love with Ans and Theo. I love love love their story and I want more more more! I think I never wanted to reread a book that much like I want to reread Commander in Briefs right now. Getting finally the story of Ans and Theo's history is everything you can wish for if you are into this series. Gosh, these two are perfect and their dance around each other is the perfect foreplay for what's yet to come.
I didn't realize that this book ended on a cliffhanger and now I'm irritated at myself for not knowing. Personally, there's nothing worse than expecting an ending and not getting one.
Pitcher is LIVE! And I will be super & cruelly honest with you! So Pitcher is something I never expected it to be. When Kristy said that she intends to write a prequel of commander ( which is book 1, Theo & Ans, story, you should read after you have read Pitcher), so when she said ok, I want to go back to Ans and Theo and write more about them, I thought okay she is going to give us an ordinary YA, when they met, flirt a bit, but neither of them have the "balls"to admit their feelings, so practically a mouse and cat game, ( wait cuz the mouse hate the cat) anyway, something sweet and "superficial" I mean, nothing to take seriously. But you know, always, nice and fun to read. Well guess what happened? If you think that's what pitcher is, get ready, because Kristy if know to do something extraordinary is writing and tease the h*** out of her readers. So she is going to give you ... something else. Pitcher is going to touch you deep... catching all your emotions, owning your mood and making you say, "damn that woman really know how to write a great story!" Now, Pitcher is a quick read. It's like a tornado of feelings, you didn't expect it to be so powerful but it is, you didn't expect it to change something you already think to know, but it will, you never expected this to get to your heart, but it will do it and more. Now obviously you want a personal opinion. What pitcher meant to me? Well. Let me put it this way. I already read Commander. So I knew who Theo von bremen was. So, after reading pitcher, I will tell you this. Before Pitcher I liked von bremen because of his cocky a**hole attitude. But there was a side of him which has been in the shadows. For no one to see just for her, just for his girl. His Ans. What pitcher did was to turn upside down my opinion on him. If till now I would have said yes I like Theo. Now I say, yes Theo is. .my fictional brother! He really earned on me. ( Jameson, - n. GORGEOUS - still my favorite, no worries). Now, obviously you will wait to know if there is something that I would have liked different in pitcher. Believe me, that's one of the reasons I chose to write my review on the release day. To have more time to think and find at least an imperfection. Because I always find them. Always!!!! There's always something I don't like, or something that doesn't impressed me so much, or something that I would change in a story. Now here is the cruel moment: I don't want to change anything! Before Pitcher I had 100 questions about this couple. You know the classic ones: how they met? How they fall in love? How was Theo as a teenager? And so on!.Now I only have one: When is your next book coming? Ah, I always forgot. I seriously think you will need to give us a third book about Theo & Ans. Sans spoilers: but you know you gave us: before Commander, Commander, now you know what's missing? Yup after commander! And I am sure you can get what I am trying to say....a code message for the author? Read pitcher and commander and you will get what I mean. *Now grab your copy and enjoy my bro 's and that firecracker Ans. A story that you will want to be yours! Enjoy it! *ARC kindly provided by the author, ( and the freaking awesome, PA) in exchange for an honest review*
It’s not news to anyone that knows me or follows my Instagram page, that I absolutely love Kristy Marie’s books. I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to ever read her debut novel “Commander in Briefs as an ARC reader/reviewer, and I haven't look back since: she hooked me.
Her writing style is engaging, her stories are unique and original and her characters are awesome and unforgettable. They stay with you.
That’s why when she let me know she was writing a prequel to CIB, with Theo and Anniston backstory, I couldn't be happier or more excited, as it with all of her books. I just didn't know this was the one to struck me the hardest, so far.
Like I said in some of my previous Instagram posts and comments, this was the story I didn't know I needed and now I just wouldn't know what to do without it.
It's like coming home and I feel complete, like part of me was missing and I didn't even realize it.
Aside from two other books one of them being “Gorgeous, also by Kristy Marie I honestly never felt so helplessly moved by a book before; and this wasn't just about me crying me eyes out. It was something else. My breath faltered and my heart physical hurt I’m actually serious here. I didn't know if it was sadness, or happiness or love, I just know that from now on, my love and appreciation for Theo is bigger than ever before.
Ans and Theo are forever going to be one of my favorite couples: they’re never leaving the back of my mind, ever. Their connection is so strong, their relationship is so different and deep and beautiful, argh...
At this point I’m actually running out of words and ways to explain what these characters, their story and this particular book mean to me. I felt it so deep. It was so cool to meet an already feisty, young Anniston and an equally rambunctious and incorrigible Theo: their bond is formed immediately. And it was even more fascinating being there along for their journey together.
I'm beyond ecstatic and truly fulfilled now that we know how this unique couple came to be, and I’d be more than happy to read more of their adventures as a married couple *wink, wink* as if this need to be said. Give me all of it!
Thank you again Kristy, for this glimpse into their past.
And now we wait for the next book of this series that as me constantly checking Kristy Marie’s Instagram page for more news.
My Tim is coming. So, see you soon, I guess. And yes, he’s mine: go check my Gorgeous review, ‘cause I’m pretty sure a called dibs back then. :D
I’m a good girl though, we can share.
*Each book can be read as a standalone* *I received an ARC and I´m voluntarily leaving my honest review.*
This book is a must read before you start Commander In Briefs series. This books gives us the introduction of Theo and Anniston. The story is short and is told in quick jumps of age. Their friendship, their unique bond is everything to look up to this story. The writing is flawless and we have lots of anticipation to look for. This is a novella length book and has to be read first to understand better of the characters.
NOTE: This review covers both Pitcher, an introduction novella and Commander, Book One of the new "Commander In Briefs" series by Kristy Marie. It takes reading both books before you get the whole happily-ever-after for this couple. So you've been forewarned.
3 Stars - PITCHER
I enjoyed this novella introducing Theo Von Bremen and Anniston McCallister. The blurb sold me from the get-go. Nothing warned of a cliffhanger ahead.
Basically, it was a best-friends to lovers sports-related romance. Some cutesy dialogue and steamy flirting. In the beginning I deemed it slowburn.
And then I hit the end and realized their story continued in Commander, book one of a new series. That sent me into a bit of a nosedive. At that point, I was already involved, so I decided to move forward.
2 Stars - COMMANDER
It didn’t take long before I realized that the author had changed things up and not for the better in the full-length novel. Let me tell you, it was a total wipe-out and a major letdown from start to finish. What a disappointment because the novella set this up to be a potential winner. Please forgive the following ranting and raving, but . . .
Commander was over 400 pages of 80% porn and 20% crazy ridiculous storyline. There are multiple plots that seemed to pop up at the oddest times without warning. None of them well thought-out or remotely believable. For most of the book, I skimmed and screamed and finally reached what seemed like a never-ending wrap-up. So, I'll commit to saying that I originally liked both these characters, along with a great group of secondary cast members. It seemed like things would go well. But it didn’t last long.
The main characters, Anniston and Theo were extremely difficult to like, much less adore or love. Their relationship leaned towards almost a toxic and mentally abusive mix. One character is ADHD and the other suffers from a mild case of cerebral palsy, and oftentimes it seems they played this up as an excuse for their weird and abnormal relationship without there ever being proof.
There was real potential for a solid and enjoyable book, but the “Commander and her MLB pitcher ruined it for this reader with vividly defined sexual encounters ad nauseam with very little depth or meaningful “normal to be found. I felt like he used her as a crutch, and she was just fine being his doormat going along with his over-the-top alpha kinky sexual games even when they included his escapades with other women and this went on for years. They called it love my definition tends toward sicko/psycho.
I definitely won’t be continuing on with this series. I'm uncertain as to whether or not a happily-ever-after will last between these two. I never thought I would be rating this a 2-star read, but it’s lucky to get that at this point.
| Pitcher is full of ‘pure a**holey servings as 5 stars for main course |
Kristy trusted me enough to give a copy of her first book ever written, to read for free and review it last year. Since then, I’ve never looked back but stalk her posts for more hints of next books.
Pitcher, the 4th of her books but written in novella form, is NOW LIVE and you all need to One Click.
This is where it all started. Where the one messed up relationship that is ‘McCallister and Von Bremen started and it’s gotten more ridiculous by the minute. Yet, it’s so deep rooted in love, lust and a-holey attitudes that no one makes sense for them two but themselves.
It’s amazing. Pitcher helped me see the Theo that was deserving of Ans. I mean, the beginning Theo. The college part was truly messed up lol but their early years and what happened right up to high school graduation cemented Theo for Ans. Everything made sense now.
(Some extra thoughts): Before this book, like I told Kristy, I couldn’t separate Cade from Theo & Ans. It was like they’re stuck together. I mean, I never wanted Cade and Ans together. I just didn’t see it. Didn’t feel it as well. I saw them more of a brother/sister thing but it’s what happened when Ans met Cade that made me happy for the relationship they have. It totally helped Ans become more of the person Theo has always known. But it wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for Cade coming into the picture like that.
So yes, I loved this so much!!! I love them but you know my favourite relationship to date is the Bromance... always!!! I can see that Cade offered Ans something so meaningful yet so different from what Theo gives her. And so reading this, helped cemented my love for Ans and how she is. Theo to me, will only be the one makes sense for Ans.
Read this series. And read this amazing novella for more clarity on Ans and Theo’s escapades! Thank you for the copy Kristy. Hope this is an honest enough review in exchange for the early copy.
Fantastic! 5 Stars! Wow! Just wow! First, I have to tell you this is the prequel to already published Commander In Briefs.Pitcher is not recommended to be read as a standalone. You can read it as a standalone if you want to, but you just can't appreciate its greatness without reading Commander In Briefs as well. That said, I hope you will give this author a chance because she is an amazing writer. Literally, I am always impatiently waiting for her next release. I immensely enjoyed reading all her books.
Theo and Anniston..... Ok, so to say these two have a complicated relationship is the understatement of the year! My heart kept breaking for Anniston. She needed Theo in her life and she would take him anyway she could. And while Theo needed Anniston as well, he wasn't ready for the next step. I will say that Theo was selfish when it came to Anniston. He wouldn't let himself have her, so no-one else would either. Their relationship was very intense. But I already knew that after reading CIB. In fact, Theo is probably the most intense, possessive, and impatient hero I have ever read.
I'm not going into details because I don't really need to. This book is the introduction to how Theo and Anniston came to be best friends, then more. Trust me when I say, for a short book, all the "feels" are there. I'm going to admit, that while reading this book, I bit off all my finger nails! I even have bandaids on a couple of fingers. Thanks for that, Kristy, lol. <3 This book is a must read for all you Theo and Anniston fans. I'd also like to mention that after finishing Pitcher, I started to re-read CIB. I need more Theo!
Amazing Kristy!!
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)
I first read Commander In Briefs and was introduced to Theo and Anniston. With Pitcher, we’re taken back to the very beginning and see their friendship all those years ago. What happens when you have best friends that won’t admit their romantic feelings for one another? A great story that’s filled with comedy and love because jealously makes you do things to make sure no one else comes into the picture. This novella can be read as a standalone and in no particular order in the series.
Since reading Rebellious a few days ago I knew I had to go back to the beginning to see how the first generation of books started. Pitcher is the perfect novella to introduce readers to the Commander in Briefs series and I have every intention to read all the books before the second book in the next generation is released. Talk about addicting! Theo and Anniston I know their love story is going to be EPIC and I can’t wait to see what happens between them on the next one. If you enjoy new adult, college, friends-to-(potential) lovers romances then I recommend this one! You’ll want to read it before Commander which is a continuation of their story!
Kritsy writes, Marta reads and it's all what I need to say about our relationship.
I love this book so much !!!! I fell deeply in love with Ans and Theo in Commander in Briefs, and Pitcher just showed me how do it AGAIN !!! Gahhh and Kristy as an author ??? She's done amazing job ! The Pitcher is one of the best prequels I've ever read.
I loved Theo crazyness and even more loved how Ans managed to set him on the right place. Their friendship with benefits never getting old ! I was laughing so hard... AGAIN and sometimes I feel very sad... because of Theo. Pitcher let me understand Him better as a man ... and as a human who have to deal with his issues. Can't lie my heart was breaking for him more than for Ans in Commander in Briefs. This time Theo is this character who own my heart unquestionable - even if I wanted to puch him because, let's be honest he could be the biggest a**hole for our girl.
If You'll got the chance just onle click this beaty, I'm sure You won't regret it !!!!
Pitcher is a prequel to Commander but I believe it was published after the fact. After reading Commander I truly believe Pitcher was not only necessary but it’s also a must read. It would be difficult otherwise to understand what the heck Anniston sees in Theo and vice versa. This is a quick read. I still wish the flashbacks were more and that both Theo and Anniston would stop being such idiots. Anyway, I’m super invested now lol. I need to get to the Aspen and Bennett book pronto lol.
I can not explain to you the love that I have for this author! The world and characters that she writes of just leap off the page. Pitcher is not to be missed!!
Full review:
Kristy, you do this to me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!! I fall into your character world and don’t want to leave. I completely fell in love and adored this book, but I have a secret. In Commandeer in Briefs, everyone was head over heels for Theo. I must admit, although I did like him, it was Ans (Anniston) that I fell in love with. Her complete sassiness and fieriness, her take charge and her general respect and humanity, all while being a bad@ss heroine. Sold. Theo. Oh to meet a real-life Theo! Theo is the a-hole that we hate to love, but god bless us, we love him anyway. The cockiness and the swagger that he exudes is an overwhelming pheromone straight to the heart! 😉 I don’t know if I can watch baseball the same way ever again!? Man, those pants
Pitcher is about Theo and Ans, but before they were adult Theo and Ans in Commanding in Briefs. I love Kristy Marie and all her books, but it was this novella that I was longing to read. It was the book that I needed without knowing I needed it. This prequel to CiB, is utterly amazing, y’all. It not only shows the connection between Theo and Ans, it shows the development of this connection between them and among other characters in their lives. It is heart-warming, touching, emotional and hilarious in typical Kristy Marie, Anniston & Theo fashion.
Pitcher made me love Theo as much as Anniston. The trials, tribulations, drama, angst and passion that these two displayed while letting us ‘voyeur into aspects of their lives was written to perfection! It was beautiful, and I felt as though I was part of their world. Kristy Marie has done it again and if you haven’t read Commandeer in Briefs, this is the perfect lead-in, so you can read about their whole relationship from middle school to the ending in CiB.
A complete ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐read, well, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐read if you count both hands!😉
Okay, I need to be real honest here.... I haven’t read Commander in Briefs (I know, it’s a travesty) and the reason being that Theo is a complete man whore. I stay clear from books like that especially when other chicks are paraded in-front of the main chick but you Theo sir have completely stolen my heart. Now I know why so many of my fellow reviewers are obsessed with you. Your crude ass is 100% unique and so freaking lovable (even when you are being a major douche).
Anniston is a badass bombshell which I totally understand and get now. Her relationship with Theo is admirable. They are undeniably perfect for each other. I went into this book with fresh eyes and not fully understanding the dynamics of their relationship. What they have is real and pure love and I also understand why they are hesitant and don’t want to ruin what they have between them.
Kristy Kristy Kristy, you have worked your voodoo magic with this book on me. Now I know what I was missing and I’m instantly craving Commander in Briefs like something fierce. I am insatiable for your books. You are indeed a Voodoo Priestess. I bow down to you!!!
I've been trying to force myself to write this review for days now. It's not because of the book, mind you. It's that I'm in a writing review slump as much as I am in a reading one, but let me tell you!
This book. This book is so much 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I can't even begin to tell you. There's a reason people love these characters. Because they are life. And they're freaking amazing. As amazing as Kristy is.
From the moment she wrote Commander in Briefs you could tell she's was something special. For a debut novel to read like a seasoned writer wrote it, is unheard of. And then she further proved her writing skills with Georgeous and Drifter.
But with Pitcher she goes back to what she does best. To Ans & Theo before they were Ans & Theo we fell in love with. And she makes us fall in love all over again.
So if this is your first dive into Kristy 's work or if you're ready to fall in love with these characters all over again, I can not recommend this book enough to you guys. A ⭐⭐⭐⭐ read through and through
Incredible! I have fallen more in love with Theo and Anniston after reading Pitcher! For anyone that has read and loved Commander in Briefs, this novella is exactly what you need. Even knowing how this ends, Pitcher still had me holding my breath and pulling my hair. If you have never read Commander in Briefs, START HERE! It's the perfect place to start. I loved being able to peek into Theo Von Bremen and seeing more of what goes on in that head of his. My heart breaks for these two. Like they tell you, their story sucks. Kristy Marie has this talent of pulling you in and not letting you go until the story is over. Her storytelling is unique. She not only writes where you can visualize the story playing out in your head, she writes her stories so that you feel as though you ARE part of the story.
I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. So after reading Pitcher this makes me want to dive right back into CIB, and I don't normally want to dive into a book a alewdy read but I wish I had the time to do it now cause I so would. Pitcher was amazing! I loved it from start to finish. I love how to hit Theo and annnistons back round. There relationship is such more than I thought it was. Hence why I want to go back and read cib. I have to admit at first I wasn't sure how I felt about another Theo a d annistion story cause you know I already read cib. But Kristy girl I needed this book and I was so glad you took the time to. Write it Thank you!!!
This is novella is about Ans and Theo who meets in middle school and becomes roommates eventually in college. So without spoiling it I will say this, you seriously need this novella and the other Commander in Briefs books in your life (All books in this series are standalones but have appearances by the other characters in the series every once in a while except for this one) because they're that funny and sweet. What are you waiting for? Get to one clicking on June 20th.
