The New Testament has a great deal to teach about the topic of money. Many Biblical subjects stir up controversy, but few more so than a discussion of one's finances. This book is an extensive study of what the Scriptures say about monetary giving, particularly in the light of the New Covenant.
This book is an excellent resource for pastors, missionaries, or ministry leaders. Any follower of Jesus Christ will benefit from the Word of God expounded on in this book.
Three types of giving have been examined in these pages.
Law-led giving: as mandated by the Law of Moses; Free-will giving: as you purpose in your heart; Holy Spirit-led giving: as the Spirit of God leads you.
Most likely, you will learn New Testament concepts about your possessions that you may have never seen before.
Robert (Bob) Dallmann was born in a small town in upstate New York, and lived a bit of a "wild life" until late 1983. In December of 1983, Bob repented of his sinful ways, and accepted Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection for him. Since that time, Bob has sought to live a fully devoted Christ-glorifying life. The following is a list of some of the things that have helped create Bob's writing style:
* Attended Bible School * Billy Graham Crusades - Counseling Supervisor - Buffalo, NY crusades * Full-time ministry in New York City (streets, homeless outreach, etc.) -(Bob lived in NYC four years doing evangelism throughout the Big Apple) * Several short-term missionary trips (Africa, Europe, North America) * Evangelism * Preaching and teaching * Actively involved in internet and literature ministry * Prison ministry * Involvement with international students outreaches * Counter-cult ministry outreaches * Martial arts ministry (training since 1984) * Children's ministries
Bob's love for Jesus Christ and the Bible combined with his years of varied experience and unique way of looking at things, make for very interesting reading.

Many people disagree about the importance of tithing, but the Bible is clear..."Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's"- Matthew 22:21 KJV.
In this book, Robert Dallman explains tithing as it is presented in the Bible. "To Tithe or Not to Tithe" delves into the importance of giving out of true generosity. In truth, a generous spirit of giving adds abundance to the life of the "giver" as well as the "receiver."
Throughout his book, Mr. Dallman uses absolute Biblical fact to explain his view of tithing. He compares what the Old Testament says about tithing with what tithing means in the New Testament. In both, tithing is representative of our thanks for God's many blessings. Tithing benefits those who give in so many ways.
As I read Mr. Dallman's book, I really came to a much deeper understanding of God's Will on the subject. To give with a joyful heart is so important. It is an honor to God. "To Tithe or Not to Tithe" is a book of great value to all Christians. It describes the joy and abundance which comes from tithing and is a thought-provoking study of the subject.
I thank Mr. Dallman for his outstanding presentation regarding the importance of giving. "To Tithe or Not to Tithe" is a well written book which I found to be of great importance. It truly was a blessing to read!
*Special thanks to Robert Dallman for generously providing me with a copy of this book!
I thought I had my opinion on tithing all figured out until I read this book. I can’t argue with anything stated in “To Tithe or Not to Tithe because each chapter and statement is supported thoroughly with God’s word, both from the Old Testament and New Testament. This author is a Master of the Word so I seriously had to weigh out what I learned here and to re-examine my viewpoint. I recommend this book, but be prepared to be challenged because I was!
This was a fascinating subject to study. There is far more in the New Testament about money and giving than I had ever imagined. The bottom line take-away for me is...

Finished book today. Been reading this one for a while. It's not a very long book but I like to study as I go sometimes too and that slows me down. But if you are wanting to study on tithing this is a great book for that study. Very in depth and informative. Exactly with the bible. I really liked this one.
