Almost 1000 pages of lightning-paced action. The next 3 stories in the series readers are describing as "The new Harry Dresden," or "Deadpool meets Dumbledore."
SILVER TONGUE (Book 4)
Reputations can get a guy killed by all sorts of nasties. But I never thought I’d find myself at a crossroads, a pawn in a deadly game that I hadn’t known existed, willing to sell my soul to save the life of someone I loved That’s when I learned true fear, because the world I thought I knew was all just smoke and mirrors, and I was just a puppy playing amongst wolves
BEAST MASTER (Book 5)
What do you do for Thanksgiving Dinner entertainment when your guests are Death, an Angel, a vampire, Achilles, and a slew of other monsters? You have a nerf gun war, of course
But the Queens of Fae want to crash my party. And the Beast Master has come to town, abducting shifter children to use as cannon fodder for his twisted Monster Circus.
TINY GODS (Book 6)
To prevent a Shifter vs. Wizard War, I step in to draw a line in the sand, picking a fight with the deadliest magic slingers on the planet and then I try to rob them.
But when my enemies decide to wake a God, the only way for me to level the playing field is to open an early birthday present from the Mad Hatter And that’s when I find out that nothing is ever simple, and that no one was ever who I thought they were all these years

Now, let's talk about this specimen of a man named Shayne...
Shayne Silvers writes the "Nate Temple Series" which features a foul-mouthed, flawed, young wizard with a chip on his shoulder attempting to protect St. Louis from the various nasties we all know and fear from our childhood bedtime stories.
Nate's been known to suckerpunch an Angel, cow-tip the Minotaur, and steal Death's horse in order to prove his point. His utter disregard for consequences and self-preservation will have you laughing and cringing on the edge of your seat.
But he has a lot to learn. Namely, how not to be so big of an A-Hole.

Shayne holds two high-ranking black belts, and enjoys conversing about anything Marvel, Magical, or Mythological. You might find him writing in a coffee shop near you, cackling madly into his computer screen while pounding shots of espresso.
If you enjoy complex characters, plot twists, questioning your assessment of characters (because you eventually get both sides of the story), and going to bed late, waking up early to read....then this series is for you. Written in first person with a healthy dose of inner humor.
I'm on my second read through of the Nate Temple books. Silvers has kept me on the edge of my seat, anxiously waiting to see what's around the next corner. He leaves just enough hints to give an idea of what's coming, but not enough to give it away. I'm finding hints now that I didn't see on my first read. If you like Harry Dresden, you'll love Nate Temple!!
SHAYNE SILVERS YOU ARE A LEGEND MATE I MUST READ EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WRITTEN. Indiana Ripply has never been a favourite character of mine from the moment she began dating Nate. Its not that she's not good enough, I just don't like her nor do I trust her! Strange 'coz as the Co2 of Nates book Store, I liked just fine, just not with Nate as a mate.
Silver Tongue was another epic book, loved loved loved it!!! Beast Master I loved the action, but Indy spoils it for me, but she does pull off one Hell Of A Freaky Trick! Tiny gods has been my all-time favourite Book of the series to date, I laughed so much I spat my spine onto my tablet add lots of spit & snot bubbles to the list & some vodka, soda & lime which burns coming out the nose & ur getting the picture. The 1st 4 character are the funniest most comedic thing I've read in my life! Master Silvers you're my Maestro, my Guru, my Guy when it comes to fantasy, a bloody dead set legend!
Shayne Silvers is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE male American author
I RATE BOXSET 2 NATE TEMPLE SERIES 4.8â out of 5 â
Taking 0.2 points of for Beast Master's audio, was hard to listen too as my 1st Nate audio, but the Den of Freaks convinced me to hang in & try Tiny Gods before returning the audiobook. I tell you what, it always pays to give someone a second chance because I could have missed out on the best book in the world in Tiny Gods had I returned box set 2 on audio and would never have gotten the full Joel Richards experience which enhances the trip into the Templeverse, my eternal love mate you slayed that book!
Shayne Silvers delivers another electrifying trilogy in the Nate Temple series with Silver Tongue, Beast Master, and Tiny Gods, proving once again why this urban fantasy saga is a must-read. These books are packed with non-stop action, razor-sharp wit, and an ever-evolving cast of characters that keep the story fresh and exciting.
Nate Temple’s signature one-liners are as epic as ever, balancing humor with high-stakes danger as he navigates a world teeming with mythological threats. Silvers masterfully blends mythologies from Indian, Greek, Roman, and Celtic lore, creating a rich, immersive universe where gods, monsters, and ancient legends collide in unexpected ways.
The world-building is nothing short of phenomenal, expanding with each book as new allies and enemies enter the fray. Every page is a thrill ride, keeping you on the edge of your seat with jaw-dropping twists and intense battles. These books aren’t just stories—they’re an experience. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the series, Silver Tongue, Beast Master, and Tiny Gods are unputdownable page-turners that make urban fantasy ridiculously fun.
Three excellent stories! Nate and Indie are no more a couple! Indie has gone to train with Ichabod and has really changed. Revenge is on the menu for Ichabod but she has fallen into his camp of deeds. A Beast Master has appeared and lots will happen of which some is good and some is not. Many things will be revealed and some are very surprising. The plot thickens as two try to bring about the wakening of a god and their way of ending or changing things will come about. Now Nate and friends want a more cooperative and peaceful solution. Be prepared for lots of revelations and surprises as you read these stories which I loved!
A good box set lots of action plenty of new characters and lots of fight scenes. I am still unsure of Nate Temple he bumbles along like an absolute idiot a lot of the time never seeming sure of what he is doing and the effect his actions have on others. How he keeps his friends is a miracle he does not always treat them well and gets them into all sorts of trouble. The love of his life is currently on opposite sides and seems like she wants to kill him and two other factors hate him and would love to take him out his life is complex and never a dull moment.
Nate's fiance' Indie has come back to St Louis a different person, who wants vengeance on the Syndicate for killing her mother. Nate has given up his Maker powers, save unknown dangerous creatures, bonded with his house and made both new and old allies as well as enemies. But he has his old powers back and maybe one new he is not sure he wants, but might need with the war that is coming.
I loved the three stories included with this set. The changes that occurred the friends made and the friends lost were quite the ride. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series of stories, but apparently, if I want to read Shane's stories in the proper order(and I do), I have to switch to a sister series for now. I guess I'll have to wait a while to find out what happens next in Nate's world.
It's hard to come up with more good things to say about this series. Nate Temple is a great character with good intentions, funny and loyal friends and Shayne Silvers has a mind like I don't know what to keep coming up with the storyline he writes! Amazed with every book and always left wanting more!
I have enjoyed this whole set! I love the mix of all things supernatural and how Nate seems to be the perfect weapon or the most dangerous tool. It helps that he makes his own weapons and I get a serious laugh out of “Nate’s tiny balls. A definite must read for all lovers of the supernatural in all its forms
Another fun couple of favorites from Nate Temple. It seems that some of the things that weren’t clear to me in the last few novels have been cleared up. More questions ensue.... The addition of a new character in the beginning of #6 has brightened my day. Lots of surprises and loads of fighting and fun in these novels!
I like this series but the writer goes into to much detail about things that aren't important so I skip those parts. Also I wish he would have continued offering the boxed set thru the whole series especially the autiobooks. I will still continue with the series because I like it so much
There have certainly been sometimes that I did not think Nate would make it. Seriously how can he get so maimed and still make it? That magic sure does love him. A great set of books. I they keep getting. I laugh. I cry. I get mad I have to put the book down to do life things. Off to the next!
I loved these books the first time I read them, but wow! I love them even more now. The amazing Nate and his weird and wonderful family fight together and the results are guaranteed to make you laugh, smile and lose your shit!😂
I started reading The Nate Temple series out of curiosity, by the end of Book Three I was in love with the series. Now, I am like a junky looking for a fix. I am thoroughly hooked and can not get enough.
Non stop action abounds, dash in a bunch of laughs and silly jokes, a pinch of snark...ok a lot of snark. I think what I like most about Nate is that he’s relate-able, imperfect, struggles with emotions, and never gives up!
On the edge of your seat action non-stop fun great sense of humor I laughed my little ass off my children thinking I've gone crazy I laugh so hard and the next morning had me in tears missing my mom and I can't stop reading these books and neither will you
I really like the Nate Temple series, despite its flaws. But Nate Temple the character has to be the dumbest genius, and the most forgetful man with an eidetic memory that I've ever read.
Oh my gosh! Nate is one crazy adventure for sure. He is certainly not easy to follow. Who else has unicorns, gargoyles, shifters and more. I found it difficult to put down because there was so much action that I was afraid I might miss something.
I really got hooked on this whole Templeverse world. It looks like there are lots of books in it, so I get to live in them for awhile. I highly recommend these books.
Seriously, Shayne Silvers may be one of the most enjoyable writers on the planet! Quite honestly, the Nate Temple series ranks up there with Dresden and The Iron Druid just for inventiveness and pure enjoyment. Read this! Trust me!
The story just gets better! Mate has learned so much , but seems to need more lessons. The twist and turns of the story line will keep you reading!! So glad there is more
