Seducing Zeb is a fun read by author Elizabeth Rose. It is entertaining, quirky and sweet. I like how Zeb and Cat 'met'. I also liked the plot twist with a certain 'other attorney'. I am looking forward to the other books in the Tarnished Saints series. I think Mom is trying to talk me into getting Simon's book next.

The writing was good and the dialogue was snappy and quick. My issue is the female lead - Cat.
To make her sympathetic it was continually mentioned what a hard life she had. Not buying it. Cat is a con artist - grifter - and one step away from being a hooker. She steals Zeb's wallet get his driver''s license so that she will have a marriage license ready and to get the license, without his knowledge, she has bribed a friend who works in the license bureau. She then plans to use the lure of hot sex to convince him to stay married. When he refused she leaves in a huff.
We next see her at the casino where she works as a blackjack dealer. At the casino her boss/lover/fiancee has her target men who have won large jackpots. With a little cleavage and a sexy pout she lures them to her table where she cheats to get back all that the man won and then some.
Turns out she wanted to marry someone who would take her away from her life in Vegas. After all where would she live and who would take care of her. Apparently getting out on her own was beyond her vision for her future.
When young her father left her mother and this was the basis of her hard life. Her mother saw her striking beauty as a way to provide for them. To do this it was on to the beauty pageant circuit. However entering and competition costs money so her mother turned to prostitution. Now Angel, Laney and Candace are also single mothers with daughters to support but they haven't considered their daughters to be cash cows or turn to prostitution to support themselves. Now they had hard lives.
So to recap: Cat will manipulate anyone to get what she wants; runs a crooked blackjack table (both the Gaming Commission and the D.A. have strong views on that and would undoubtedly enjoy chatting with her); and, will marry anyone who can be induced to provide her with a comfortable lifestyle. She is 30 and has refused to take any responsibility for her own life expecting others to provide for her.
The story keeps saying that she and Zeb are exactly alike, liking the finer things in life , glitz and glamour. Everything she has is a result of manipulation and fraud. Zeb worked for everything he had. He put himself through college, earned a law degree, passed the bar, opened a law office and succeeded.
Zeb deserved better but the Pretty Woman theme was used for this story. His family thought she was wonderful and perfect for him but never was the truth about her past revealed. Hard life and mother dying while she was young - yes / criminal activities. - no. Wonder how that knowledge would have affected the story.

Richard poor married or not they ended up together
I read the story I liked the characters within the story somewhat. Some of the characters I didn't care for but that's the author's job is to make you not care for certain characters. The idea of the story was good but I had a hard time getting into it.

Vegas!
Seducing Zeb: WOW! Intense, exciting, hot and trouble! Zeb was doing what he always did for his twin. He went to Vegas to help out James until he got there because he wanted to marry Cat! It didn't quite work out the way Debbie planned because in his mind he will always be a bachelor. It was a great story to add to the series!

Stay married or single?
It's hard to let go of independence and freedom, but it's hard being alone too. In this book Zeb has to decide if he enjoys his bachelor life more than he loves Cat a girl he got drunk and married in a drive-thru wedding chapel in Vegas! Great read!

Tarnished Saints Series #4
Seducing Zeb is number four in the series about twelve brothers who were named after the twelve Apostles. This book is just as good as its predecessors. The Taylor family is warm, loving, stubborn and funny. I urge you to read this series.

What a guy
Zeb sure knows how to live the good life. Too bad he messes up when he is in Vegas and pretends to be his twin brother and gets the girl. Cat is just the one he needs as he soon finds out. A fun story to read and learn about the brothers and their lives.

Great love story
This was a good book. I like the way Zeb and Cat fell in love after Aunt Cappy put them together. Your stories remind me of some things that happened during our 57 years of marriage. I still have the memory of my late husband who spent 21 years in the Navy.

Bad Boys of Sweetwater
Well this book was just what I needed to get my laughs and my heartbeat pumping. The storyline and the characters were spot on. I need a fan (haha). I am loving this series alot. On to Book 5 now.

I always enjoy a quick trip to Sweetwater to see what that Taylor brothers are up to as it's a mix of fun and is full of quirky and unique characters. The main stay though is the strong family ties.

Seducing Zeb, by Elizabeth Rose is Book 4 the exciting twelve Book series "Tarnished Saints", but can be read as a stand alone. This is my first venture into this series, and I absolutely loved this one. I can't wait to read the others. Twelve brothers who are definitely not Saints. Looking for something, but will they find their HEA?
Well written story, that is fast paced, sexy, passionate, witty, and romantic. A sexy, hot shot, high-priced lawyer, Zen Taylor, meets a sexy, cheating, Casino Blackjack Dealer, Ebony, while, switching identities with his twin brother, James. Together, Zeb and Cat, aka Ebony, become married, at a drive-thru window, no less, while, in a drunken stupor. With Zeb being mistaken for his brother, James, what follows can only be described as adventurous, humorous,witty, passionate and entertaining.
I enjoyed the way Zeb and Cat, collided head on, faced their demons, and came out whole and found their HEA. How, all the Taylor brothers stick together no matter what, to be me very commendable. A very enjoyable and satisfying read.
While, this was my first book in the "Tarnished Saints" series, I would love to learn more about all the Taylor brothers, therefore, I would love to read this whole series. An exciting series to be sure. Fans of Contemporary Romance, a bit of danger, lots of challenges, sexy Alpha males, and hot, sexy ladies, definitely should read this series. Compelling and entertaining, as well as enjoyable. A must read. Ms Rose is a very talented author, rather she is writing Contemporary or Historical Romance, the romance and possibilities are always present. A definite keeper. I can't wait to continue to read this series, to find out what happens to all the Taylor brothers. An awesome series! Pick up your copy today!

Zeb Taylor likes his fancy toys, his money and his bachelor life. Shaking his money maker to put himself through school to be a lawyer, he is used to using his looks, his money and his toys to influence people and get what he wants. Catalina Cordovano uses her looks to get what she wants also and right now she wants someone to take her away from her troubles. A mistaken identity, a quickie Vegas marriage and two people so similar that sparks are sure to fly make for another entertaining tale from the Tarnished Saints. The storyline is fun, fast paced and gives you another look into the hard heads of the Taylor twelve. The tarnished saints relationships are never easy but this one seemed doomed right from the beginning. I enjoyed the interactions between the two strong personalities and loved watching them fight what was right in front of their eyes. With the help of an eye opening bet, a crazy meddling aunt and the love of family, these two love birds might figure out that it is not the glitz of the wrapping but what you find inside that counts.

Very disappointed
This book was a complete let down. I really did not like the main female character Cat. Cat comes off as rude, self centered, manipulating, abusive to Zeb. Is only willing to change her ways when it will get her what she wants. Cat is nothing like the other wives in the first 3 books. Zeb is a doormat let's Cat walk all over him, he just does not have a spine.
I really enjoyed the first 3 books and the novelle of this series and was looking forward to reading the rest of the books, but if they are anything like this book, I think I'll pass and find something else to read
