Amelia Barry, an IT security specialist with some other special skills is coming to Leah by the Sea for a surprise birthday party for one of her local friends. But instead of a slice of the birthday cake, she finds... a body. A rich man who no one remembers inviting is killed by someone who obviously benefits from his death. But who is the killer, how did the man get killed and why? Amelia and her friends set out to find out, alongside, and sometimes even a little against, the local police force. Grab a copy to find out!
Maybe Amelia should stop going to Leah by the sea. Something always happens. Right place, wrong time I suppose. This felt different. There were some quotable moments. This story relatively felt a little too fast. But doesn't keep from the suspense. Can't keep from putting it down, moving on to book four!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Amelia is such a dear character, and she tries so hard to understand others. She is also observant and has a perfect recall of conversations. The people in the small village mostly accept her as she is. I was happy to see Amelia and Ryan getting closer. Definitely recommend reading.
Very disappointing that the errors continue. Loved the story but can’t cope with so many errors I find it too distracting. I shan’t be reading any more by this author which is a shame as the story telling is good!
