Bestselling author M.J. Marstens mixes romance, suspense, comedy, and sassy characters who can say whatever they are thinking because it is just a story. When she is not creating steamy scenes or laugh-out-loud fiascos, she is refereeing her four children that she homeschools. This is a great anthology. Some of my favorite authors are in this book.
The villinaess survival guide by Whimsy Mimsy. She is transported into a book she wrote and she is the villain. She knows how the story is supposed to go but can she live with what she wrote or will she change it.
Roseyk Clayborn- Her Sherwood bandits.
Robin is summoned to see Prince John. She meets bandits along the way and escapes to the castle where her life is turned upside down. She is in a fight to save all she loves and must trust people she just met.
Sunny with a chance of bigfoot by Emmy Dee
Sunnys husband leaves her and she travels the world never expecting what fate brings to her doorstep.
Real or fake by Melissa Adams and Mia Harlan
Daniis bf betrays her so she goes into hiding. She hopes to put the past behind her and start fresh but fate has different ideas for her life.
Family tree by Katherin Issac
Agate is enjoying life with her mates until her mother comes to visit. Never one without an opinion on everything she drives Aggy crazy. Can she change her mother or is she doomed.

Most anthologies tend to be for a good cause. This anthology just so happens to be for a great cause, however sad and horrific.
Personally, anthologies aren't my favorite genre due to my attention span. BUT. New author exposure! So, I'm still reading this book (and it may take awhile because this baby is thicc), but I get to read my favorite authors and maybe find some new ones too!
I started with Tidal by Maya Riley because why not play author roulette when reading an anthology. I mean, there's no rules saying we have to read it in order. I thought her novel completely fit. It made me want to reread Where the Blue Thorns Grow. I'm not sure I could go through what the mc of Tidal went through and be able to conquer that fear. The ocean is scary enough. Great story! Sadly, the author did not discuss the mcm's bubble.
These stories give me that feel good feels when reading them. I can't wait to see what many of the authors have to share, and look forward to reading new to me authors.

This book is an anthology comprised of many authors who will give a sample reading to one of their books. I select Rosemary A. Johns, Bad Ra to review. Two other books already exist in the series of Rebel Gods. They are Bad Loki and Bad Hades. Autumn was a witch turned to Reaper of gods and demons and to protect a special enchanted forest that contains the Tree of Life. She has a bevy of love and soul bonds. Ra is one soul bond and a phoenix. He has helped protect her for several millennia. He was once held in bondage by Mut, one of the Egyptian goddesses. Now, he is out of control because of the threat that Hades faces from Persephone. Loki and Autumn will have to work together to get him to calm enough to come back to them and plot~ Only problem that arises, Thor shows up, and for what…wait and see!

I love a good anthology especially one for such a good cause that's filled to the brim with so many fearless warriors by so many amazing authors.

I read Rosemary A. Johns, Bad Ra. Tyere are two other awesome chaos books in the series of Rebel Gods. They are Bad Loki and Bad Hades. I just love Autumn and her unwavering total devotion to her sexy guys and gods. Pour Autumn, Loki and Ra are having a really bad day and things could go terribly terribly wrong!! This wee simplet of complete love and faith in ones love is fabulous. I really can't wait for the story to continue in Bad Ra.

"Bad gods are my obsession, Soul Bonds, and protectors. The secret? I also protect them, even if it means letting the realms burn." - Autumn

This anthology has it all; demons, shifters, witches and yes, even gods! Bad Ra is an intriguing, unique tale, leading the reader to another place and time, where gods and destroyers meet.... And love.... And yearn for the ultimate freedom.... And yet.... And yet....

In Bad Ra by Rosemary Johns, we get a glimpse of how Ra is world-ending dangerous. Autumn makes hard decisions to talk Ra down and move forward.
I'm anxious for the full story. This is part of the Rebel Gods series. Bad Loki and Bad Hades are the first two books, and are amazing reads.

I have been provided with a copy of FEARLESS: A Charity Anthology from the author for an impartial review. This box set is comprised of excerpts, short stories, and novellas. Some of the stories are part of other series or will later be published and expanded at a later date so before you start you might want to see what the deal is with the story. The excerpts included are The Wolf Whisperer by M.J. Marstens, What the Hell by A.J. Macey, Bad Ra by Rosemary A. Johns, Hell Bound by Cate Corvin & Melora Francois, and Scorched Ember by C.E. Lashua. The rest of the stories included in this anthology are Cursed & Clawed by Cali Mann, Rise by Ginna Moran & Elie Waters, Dead Wrong by Jacquelyn Faye, Insurrection by R.L. Caulder & M. Sinclair, Dark Descent by Imani L. Hawkins, For Whom the Bell Tolls by Katie May & Ann Denton, Real or Fake by Melissa Adams & Mia Harlan, The Climb by TL Hamilton, The Villainess Survival Guide! by Whimsy Nimsy, Briar’s Mercy by Rachelle Bonifay, Prima's Foil by K.B. Wheelock, Crimson Alpha by Jewels Arthur & Jenee Robinson, My Dandelion by Elle Lee, Ashwood Outcast by Jenn D. Young, Family Tree by Katherine Isaac, His to Hoard by KZ Merlin, Broken Freedom by Dolly Kalasin, Luna by J. Grace, Her Sherwood Bandits by Roseyk Klayborn, Ash: Burning Bridges by Luke & Z. Xanxar, Much Ado About Witches by Rory Miles, Sunny With A Chance of Bigfoot by Emmy Dee, Instinct by Lucy Felthouse, Tidal by Maya Riley, and Unworthy by Raven James. I’ll update my review as I finish each title.

Cursed & Clawed by Cali Mann

Rise by Ginna Moran & Elie Waters

Dead Wrong by Jacquelyn Faye

Insurrection by R.L. Caulder & M. Sinclair

Dark Descent by Imani L. Hawkins

For Whom the Bell Tolls by Katie May & Ann Denton

Real or Fake by Melissa Adams & Mia Harlan

The Climb by TL Hamilton

I’m not quite sure what to make of this title. It’s a short story that I believe had the potential to be a really great story. I just think that with the length it just didn’t succeed. I was just confused at times with the pace and everything that was going on. I believe that if the author decides to expand the story that some of the issues could be resolved. I understand how difficult it is to bring a great story to life in just a few chapters.

The Villainess Survival Guide! by Whimsy Nimsy

Briar’s Mercy by Rachelle Bonifay

Prima's Foil by K.B. Wheelock

Crimson Alpha by Jewels Arthur & Jenee Robinson

My Dandelion by Elle Lee

Ashwood Outcast by Jenn D. Young

Family Tree by Katherine Isaac

His to Hoard by KZ Merlin

Broken Freedom by Dolly Kalasin

Luna by J. Grace

Her Sherwood Bandits by Roseyk Klayborn

Ash: Burning Bridges by Luke & Z. Xanxar

Much Ado About Witches by Rory Miles

Sunny With A Chance of Bigfoot by Emmy Dee

Instinct by Lucy Felthouse

Tidal by Maya Riley

Unworthy by Raven James

Wolf Whisperer - OMG, I need to know how she got the job and who the savior/enemy at the end is! Where did the ring come from?

What the Hell - What is Kennedy's big secret that is going to tear her life down? How does a witch have a Hellhound as a guard dog? This really dragged you in to the story in the few chapters we were given. Excited to read more.

Cursed & Clawed - I need more back story to the bear spirits and more future story to the rest including the sister and her predicted harem of mermaids??

Rise -Heaven/Hell and Hunters working together to save humanity. Riella and Damien with Storm/River hopefully to go on quests to send back the super bad demons.

Dead Wrong - I need more of the Kat, Pyotr and Dylan bacfk and forth. Where dothey go from here? Does Kat join in the newly turned adventure?

Real or Fake - Cute little drama about not trusting everything you see on the internet and knowing who your real friends are.

The Climb - Wow! What an emotional rollercoaster of a story.

The Villainess Survival Guide! - How exciting to be sucked into your characters and story and to try to rewrite it as it plays out. I'm curious to learn and meet more of the characters and see how the author plays herself out of the villianess role.

Briar's Mercy - Must know more about Briar and her work! Are the other family ever going to find out about her?

Crimson Alpha- What does it mean to be a Crimson Wolf? Did her parents subconsciously know and that's why they treated her poorly and allowed others to or is there a secret in her past?

My Dandelion - Not the prince charming she ever thought she needed but the one the Val can count on.

Ashwood Outcast - Payback isn't always sweeter but I hope Devyn gets what's she wants.

Family Tree - cute Agate short that gives you all the key facts so you can enjoy even if you haven't read the first book. Wow, her mother just keeps getting better and better.

His to Hoard - What happens with Lord Ryuu and his little fairy? People (dragons?) aren't always what you expect.

Broken Freedom - Taking back your life after betrayal and moving on as best you can with the love of family.

Her Sherwood Bandits - An interesting take on Robin Hood and her merry soon to be men.

Ash:Burning Bridges - Taking back her life!!

Much Ado about Witches - Ellen is dumped into a new world when magic arrives. Interested to read more about the adjustment to school, the lack of girl mentors and the demon war.

Sunny with a chance of Bigfoot- I loved Citrine's backstory and it explains so much about how she didn't know who she was.

This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Absolutely amazing read. Fantastic Anthology full of my favourite authors and a sneak peek at what is some amazing reads:

One of my favourite sneak peeks is from R.L Caulder and M. Sinclair: Insurrection.
This is a preview of chapters 1-3, so definitely activates your taste buds and leaves you wanting more.
Ama is a reaper with a hidden side, her succubus side. She is Princess to the house of death and her father is the king. There is so much to unpack in these three chapters and I cannot wait to read more.

Review for: Katie May & Ann Denton:
This is an interesting take on Lucifer and God, heaven and Hell. These Characters where not enough and i need more of them.I love that we are not at the beginning the story. Lucy has an already established Harem and we have flash backs to the beginning. Fantastic start to the series.

Review for: Rory Miles: Much Ado about Witches:
This is another promising intro to a read great. Ellen is just trying to be a normal teenager when she discovered the world of magic. Being expelled from her school is the ultimate push she needs to learn more about magic and herself.

Review for: Raven James: Unworthy:
Wow this looks like a great start to a series. Norah has been preparing herself for the worst, never letting herself get close, but fate catches up ensuring she regrets not letting those she loves get close.

Review for: Jenn D Young: Ashwood Outcast:
I cannot wait for the full read is available. I was hooked and felt so strongly about Devyn a young girl who just cant tolerate her tormentors any more but time pasts and you know what, revenge can be sweet.

Review for Maya Riley: Tidal:
Brilliant read of true fear. Cari has been struck down, but getting back up is a lot harder than it seems. The task is daunting but the view of the ocean is not one cari is able to look away from.
Cari is only able to run from her fears until she meets Trent who holds her firmlyo(ash) while she faces her monsters down. Brilliant read.

Review for Mia Harlan &Mellissa Adams: Real or Fake.
Brilliant intro to these Characters. Dannii had it all until until she didn't and she looses everything but her friends have her back... or want to stick a knife in it. Brilliant read.

In this anthology I would say is something for everyone
Real or fake by Mia Harlan and Melissa Adams
A teen who is the darling of Hollywood runs to a new town disguised as an everyday teen when her reputation is tarnished by a video that she believes to have been released by her ex. She hopes to complete her senior year incognito but then her ex arrives in town.....I would say this is a sweet YA contemporary which although short is a great story
The climb by TL Hamilton
Perdy is always scared, always running when she hears the howls of the wolves. Then she meets Anshu and a relationship develops. It seems to be going well until he tells her he loves her and then she hears the howl of a wolf nearby.... A relatively new author and I have read her previous books and loved them, and i enjoyed this too. This was a short story and I'm not sure what category I would put it in, ... it is something different but enjoyable
The Villainess survival guide by Whimsy Nimsy
An author ends up as the villainess in her own novel. At first she believes she is dreaming but then panic sets in as she realizes it is real and has a contract with a demon! .... This was the first part of a future book and after reading this I can't wait to read the full story!

This anthology included some fantastic sneak peeks to some incredible reads! The taste was definitely sweet and I am ready for more! Here are some snapshots:

Insurrection by R.L Caulder and M. Sinclair:
Some really great characters to get addicted to with a unique secret for the MFC and I am excited to see what will happen next for them!

Much Ado about Witches by Rory Miles:
What's not to love about magic? Well, Ellen being a normal teenager doesn't think magic could possibly be real till she is introduced to it. This was a great start!

Ashwood Outcast by Jenn D Young:
Readers are introduced to Devyn, a young girl who has been tormented for some time. However, someone can only be pushed so far before they snap. Intrigued to see what will happen next!

Tidal by Maya Riley:
We are introduced to MFC Cari and later Trent and this short read had me wanting more!

The Villainess Survival Guide by Whimsy Nimsy:
What happens when you become a character in your own book, and not just any character, but the villain? Strap in for an entertaining start to what I know will be great read.

I love when authors come together to raise funds for an amazing cause. It shows the world how awesome our book world can be.

In Tidal by Maya Riley, we get to see a former surfing champion fight her way back to the ocean after a devastating accident. The pain Cari feels in loosing her one true love, the ocean, is visceral but she's unable to fight through the fear on her own and her friends and family are at a loss how to help her. Enter Trent, a stranger newly to the island who has seen her fighting an internal battle over several days but then running from it. He steps in to share his own pain, his own mental breakdown and then promises to help her fight her own fears. By just being there, not judging and allowing her to come to terms with her fear on her own, he's able to help her overcome her fear and get back to her passion. Surfing. It was a sweet, short read, that gets ya right in the feels.

This is an amazing anthology with contributions from some incredible authors 😍
The women in these stories are true kickass warriors in their individual situations!
Hell Bound by Cate Corvin and Melora Francois was an interesting interpretation (of what you’ll have to read and find out 😜)
Rory Miles FMC has her signature humour throughout, looking forward to seeing how that develops 😆
The stand out story for me was Jenn D Young’s piece - it was a step out of her normal with it being contemporary rather than PNR, but it was a great snapshot of what will be an epic story! Devyn has had a rough past and is dealing with tormentors on top of that who are also dealing with stuff - but not in the best way! 😔 I cannot wait to see what she does for though after that cliffhanger ending 😆
All the women in this anthology truly shine in their own way

I have read:
* Wolf Whisperer, MJ Marstens - A fun little teaser, but I want to read more!
* Real or Fake, Melissa Adams & Mia Harlan - A short story about an actor hiding out at a high school after a drama ruined her career, and she then takes down the person responsible.
* Broken Freedom, Dolly Kalasin - A short Moonlit Falls story, fits right into that world and had some of the previous characters from the series in it.
* Much Ado about Witches - I love this author's stories. A student sent to a magical academy, who has no clue how to use her abilities.
* Cursed & Clawed, Cali Mann - A fun paranormal story about a woman meeting her 3 mates who are cursed. Enjoyed this one.
These were all quick, easy reads, could easily read more of any of them.

A brilliant collection of writers ive heard of, ones i love like A.J.Macey, M.J. Marstens, Rosemary A Johns............etc and a few a havent heard of before. With tasters of books that ive loved reading with bad*** female leads (Like Wolf Whisperer by M.J. Marstens that left me wanting to read more and i will buy the full book when its released but that was true of all the books in this collection). I wouldnt want to spoil it by reviewing each individual book but Ill only say there wasnt one book here that a didnt like. Its one hell of a read

Id also already read Insurrection by R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair and Bad Ra by Rosemary A Johns before id read this compilation. They were both cracking reads

First of I love that this exists that there are still people who fight for the right cause. I love supporting these kinds of things. I am a fan of several authors in this anthology so I had to pick it up! The stories are on the lighter side and I love reading all these stories so much as I get to know some new authors as well as reading favorites for years. I really enjoyed reading Mia and Melissa book real or fake. It's about a girl that is betrayed and goes into hiding but does that really work? I also enjoyed Agate family tree. What happens when mom visits and you are with your mates? Start doubting herself? No need but entertaining nonetheless

MJ Marstens is the first story excerpt in this charity anthology, and it is an amazing place to begin the journey! The Wolf Whisperer draws us in, and makes us want mooooore!

Other authors I read and I can highlight in the anthology are: Cali Mann, Ginna Moran, Ellie Waters, M. Sinclair, R.L. Caulder, Ann Denton, Rosemary Johns, Mia Harlan, TL Hamilton, Whimsy Nimsy, Rachelle Bonifey, Jewels Arthur, Jenn D. Young, Katherine Isaac, and Rory Miles.

But there were at least 19 other new-to-me author contributors, that I was excited to read, too.

What a fabulous book tray of appetizers, to entice us.

This anthology was fantastic filled to the brim with amazing stories from even more amazing authors. I couldn't get enough.

Scorched Ember by CE Lashua: Flynn, Ember and Nathan these three are burning up the pages and I am dying to get more of their story. You can feel how much these three care for one another and just in this little sneak peak my heart broke for Ember and her pain and emptiness she has in her heart. I can feel that she's not whole. We get just a little taste in this antho and I cant wait for more

I love anthologies! Especially, when one is put together to support a great cause and also features some of my favorite authors.

**Review for Tidal by Maya Riley**

I really enjoyed this story. Cari is a surfing champion, who has spent more time in the water than on land. When a traumatic accident replaces her love of the ocean with fear, Cari is devastated. Until Trent. He sees his own pain reflected in Cari’s eyes and vows to help her.

I loved this sweet short story. It hit right at the heart.

Review for Tidal by Maya Riley. I’ll be adding more updates as I continue reading the anthology! Spoilers ahead.

I love had Riley didn’t leave any imagination to why Trent was brought to the beach, Cari was his inspiration so how cool was it that he ended up being able to save her like she saved him? I loved how even though Cari was terrified of the water she let herself trust Trent enough to try again. This was such a cute read. I can’t wait to read more of the stories!

I received an ARC, so I am writing my honest voluntary review.

So far I've only read the excerpt for M.J. Marstens' book, but I'm totally hooked and can't wait to see where the story goes! The FMC is totally kickass, but I love that even in this short excerpt we see that even the most badass people/characters have weaknesses. I think that's a great message! I look forward to revisiting this anthology as I saw a few other stories I've been curious about in there. I love that this is going to a good cause too. You can't go wrong!

***WILL UPDATE WHEN I READ THE OTHER STORIES****

❤My first review is for Scorched Ember by C.E Lashua.

Ember is a wedding photographer that was working for a Bridezilla. Suddenly, a fire happens and she ends up in the hospital. She is caught between two of her former best friends. Uggggh! That's where it left off.

Whoa! This was such an intriguing start to this upcoming series/maybe standalone. The vibes I'm getting is maybe (hopefully)a MFM, maybe MMF and I am so for it. I was hooked from the very beginning. Definitely, would love to see more of what happens in this story!

Wow, this is an amazing collection of stories written by an even more amazing group of authors. Each of these stories are unique and feature interesting characters that you wil love and want to know more about. these stories need to be read and the awesome part of them being together in one place is that as soon as you finish one there is another one waiting for you. This book needs to be read, no doubt about it.

These teasers are awesome!! I cannot wait to read the full books! Some of my favorites were The Wolf Whisperer by M.J.Marsten, The Villainess Survival Guide by Whimsy Nimsy (the author gets sucked into her book as the main character, 'bout time she gets tormented like her characters! hahah), and Roseyk Klayborn's Her Sherwood Bandits, where Robin is the FMC and not the hot guy! But don't get me wrong, they were all AMAZING!

Wow

I don’t know about your but I always find reviewing anthologies difficult and this one is no exception. Especially when it’s filled with so many great insights into what will turn into amazing books and/or series. Written by a whole host of awesome authors who always pull it off. The only thing that happens more than enjoying a good read is the fact my tbr list gets longer and it has done that this time.

Interesting collection of intros/excerpts/short stories/teasers by some awesome authors. Love that all the proceeds for this anthology are being donated. The stories ranged from contemporary to PNR. One of the ones I found very well done was by Jenn D Young titled Ashwood Outcast: a story about a girl who has had her life turned upside down and is being bulled in high school; a story so well written you will feel what she feels.

My review is for Crimson Alpha by Jenee Robinson and Jewels Arthur.
I absolutely loved this, Zelenia is an outcast of her pack, her pack and parents hate her she is beat and bullied especially after her first shift happens and they find out she is a red wolf. After going to work she is attacked when 2 guys from a different pack save her and take her to their Alpha the 3 being her mates!
Loved the storyline and characters hope their is more to their story!
