Thirty-Five years ago, Giovanni D'Angelo was cursed by a witch to spout hate to all those he loved, including his mate - Seth.
Now stuck in a cell, all Giovanni can do is wait for his family and friends to help find the witch and destroy the curse, before he gives up his friends and family to become a plaything for the mad witch.
Having been shot with magical bullets, Seth is lying in the healing room slowly dying. His only hope is his friends finding the mad witch, or a special spell that can help.
With time running out, help comes from an unexpected source, but will they be able to stop both the spell and the curse, or will the mates die?
I got so distracted by the many, many errors that were either so obvious or went and threw the whole context off I had to re-read the sentence a few times before I figured out what the writer was trying to say.
Loved the wicked twists and the many fated mate couples who kept meeting each other. Most of all, I liked that David insisted on friendship and allying himself to first the wolves, then with Gabriel, brother of the evil and insane head witch trying to kill Seth and subjugate Gio. If course, the next book will be about Gabriel and Mathis, who wouldn't accept him as a mate when they first became aware of each other. Three stars - this book could have been wonderful had I been able to read it through comfortably without wondering about strange words used that changed a sentence's context, or really awfully mistyped and misspelled words.
This one is my favorite so far in this series. The heartbreak these two go through will break you. Giovanni and Seth were cursed by a crazy witch. He cursed Gio to spew hatred to those he loved. Seth, as much as he loved Gio his fated mate . He had to leave. Following the Vampire Prince, Seth needed his heart to heal. Once it was figured out that something sinister was going on. Everyone rallied around Gio and Seth to save them and their love for each other. After everything, they never stopped loving one another. Oh, this was such a beautiful story. The HEA was simply amazing. E. Broom is easily becoming a favorite author.
Everyone has found their mates and now we need for their stories to catch up. Gio being cursed for almost 40 years has caused a terrible rift between everyone he loves. Seth is heartbroken and does not know why his mate rejected and hated him. As Gio's hatred becomes more aggressive his family realizes there is something seriously wrong. Learning about the curse springs everyone in action to find the witch and break the curse and knowing the same maniac tried to kill Seth as well. Through all this there is hope in all their futures.
This book is good! Can you imagine having a one night stand with someone and are fixated on you 35 years later? That happens to Giovanni. He meets his mate Seth and he is cursed to say hateful things to everyone he loves. The only way to break the curse is to be with crazy witch. Seth is shot with spelled bullets and will eventually die. So there is another reason to go be with the evil witch. But help comes from an unexpected source. But will it be enough?
The second book in the Vampire and... series was a little easier than the first. Having two MCs with distinctly different names certainly helped. Seth and Gio were quite interesting. Their mating was disrupted by a curse and it takes their entire coven, a witch and a wolf pack to set them free. There's angst, balanced out well with a dose of humor. And as a bonus, we get a glimpse at the relationship that will be central in book three. And perhaps book four (?). Fun, quick read.
What a fantastic read filled with adventures and dramas with (unfortunately) some characters have to die.
2nd book and still no sex scene, I have to get used to it. Lol
It seems all the side characters in this book are already met their mates, I hope Gio and Seth's story won't be the last. Looking forward to read the continuation of this series in the future.
I was so happy to see this book on Amazon. I had read the previous book and I so excited to read how Seth and Gio's curses turned out. It was a great read--kept my attention throughout and was sorry when it ended. I now want to know what happens with Mathias and Gabriel and all the others. Recommend reading this series.
Loved this. Every time a new character gets introduced there is another pairing up. And what you really want to know is if Gio is going to finally get better . we have Max who Dave has asked to come work at the house and gets to know all the other paranormals and it takes awhile for it to all sink in. Must read the next one.
This is a great continuation of the Vampire and Series. Seth and Gio's story is fast paced, humorous, and full of love. I am enjoying this cast of characters. I am looking forward to Gabriel's story.
Excited to get to this book after flying through the first one and just like the first one it’s very easy to read. For me it’s not the greatest series but I enjoy reading them and finish them within a couple hours of reading.
This was just a delight to read. Wonderful characters, a great plot, with drama, love, laughs, and sweetness. The family/friends dynamics in this series is so wonderful to read.
This book had everything you could ever want in a story, it had romance, angst, sweetness, wit, intrigue, action and some much more. I loved it. Can't wait for more books in this series. Recommend.
I enjoyed reading this book as much as the first one. The characters and the storyline were amazing. The author keeps you entertained and I love how they add humor at different times during the storyline.
I loved both books so far in the series. I can’t wait for the next book. So many mates! I love it! Best part for me the story doesn’t get overwhelmed with a ton of graphic sex scenes.
I liked the story. I do wish the book was longer on seeing the MCs have their HEA since they didn't get to really reconnect until towards the end of the book. Looking forward to more from the author.
I received an ARC copy of this book and I loved it from start to finish. So glad we got to read about Gio and Seth's story. I am totally loving this author.
The stories in this series are pretty interesting, but the writing is a bit clunky, and if there’s an editor or even a beta reader on these books, there’s no sign of it. Many readers seem to be able to excuse the implausible dialogue and over-/underuse of commas breaking up the flow or making it utterly confusing, but if you require a basic level of quality, they’ll probably bother more than they entertain.
I love this author. I find their books so exciting. Loving this series, the characters are such a good mix. They make you laugh, they make you cry. I can’t wait for the next one, poor Gabriel. He needs his HEA as soon as possible.
