Going All the Way by Sean O'Leary 5 stars
A thriller that takes place in Australia. A look at the seedier side of life. Young people with no morals for the most part. Mystery full of drug users, violent murder and search for missing people. Well written, an exciting adventure.

OUTSTANDING 5 STAR THRILLER

Travis Whyte works as the night manager at the Cross Motel. He also works as a part-time private investigator, so when a murder occurs under his watch he becomes driven to find the culprit and avenge the murder victim. This takes him on a risk laden journey of violence, drugs and sex, but will he succeed in taking out the baddies and saving himself in the process?

This is a fantastic gritty thriller set in Australia's underworld. Full of shady, intriguing characters: crooks, dodgy policeman, prostitutes and drug addicts. They pull you into their seedy world and take you on an edge of the seat journey. I loved the realism of this novel and the attention to detail is fantastic. It kept me turning the pages, wondering what was going to happen. My heart was in my mouth, willing for Travis to be okay. The female characters were depicted as strong, sassy women, which I really liked. It's an atmospheric, fast paced thrilling read which was extremely well written. An easy five star story. I found this story of life in the seedy parts of big cities in Australia to be thrilling and full of action. If you like books that put you on the edge of your seat, then this book is just for you. I received a free ARC copy of this book that in no way affected my review, and for sure I look forward to reading more of Sean's books.
