When Asher Roark completed his tour of duty, he was beyond excited to return home to his life as he left it. Being a successful combat medic in the United States Army was rewarding work, but took its toll. The numerous awards he received in the line of duty were nice to look at, and made for some great stories to impress women, but they couldn’t tell the whole story. In fact, the stories he told seemed more like a shiny veneer rather than the dark and horrific experiences he survived. The stories just became a means to pick up the next woman in hopes that the next conquest would somehow drown out the darkness. Life after the service was nothing like he expected. Sure, he had made lifelong friends, learned more about medicine than he ever expected, and translated that into a great job as a Physician Assistant, but all that seemed superficial when compared to the emptiness inside. Then he met June. And everything changed. Conquest is the first installment in the Asher Roark story. Join Asher and June in this action-packed romance that has a little bit of one night stands, terrible blind dates, and finding true love where it is least expected. Download today!

June is too busy running her own business to even think about dating. A friend sets her up on a blind date and that ends up not going the way she thought it would.
Asher is a retired military vet and now a Physician Assistant. His friends set him up on a blind date with a lady named June. Unbeknownst to him the June he meets isn't the correct June.

Holy smokes! This is an amazing start this series. It’s a quick read with a lot of power. There are heart pounding moments and characters that I’m already hooked on. June and Asher are off to a rocky start but I’m on the edge of my seat for the next episode!
