Honestly Mercy can do no wrong in my eyes so I loved this book just as much as anything else she’s written! The level of feeling and intensity she’s able to convey is something else and I know that I’m always in for a treat reading her work.
Noni and Pre run in the same circle. His brother dates her best friend so more often than not, when there’s a milestone event, they cross paths. Well for the past year, Noni has been heavy on Pre’s radar and he wants her bad! He wants to drop 🍆 in her whenever he wants and he wants to trick BIG on my girl. I’m sure you’re asking what’s the problem?! Well that’s all he has to offer Noni and at 34 that’s not enough for her. She’s ready to settle down and be somebody’s wife and mother.
Knowing she will never get the real commitment from Pre that she wants she curves him successfully until he presents her with an offer she can’t refuse. His only request is to keep it player and not catch feelings. Too bad he didn’t follow his own rules.
I enjoyed these two so much! Even though Pre got on my nerves playing with my girls feelings karma definitely bit him in the 🍑. When a woman’s fed up, a 🥷 will definitely find his common sense!
If you’re looking for a really good quick read then you’ll enjoy this one. It even had a lil razzle dazzle of V- Day at the end!

Keep it Player!!!! Whew!! I loved this story with Noni and Pre! I liked how Tati and Grim was mentioned in this book because I enjoyed their story too. I wondered who would keep it player and I had a feeling it would end the way it did.

This book was short and nasty. I loved Noni’s spirit and her ability to keep it player. Pre had BDE and his bank account made him that much more enticing. Mercy B is slowly moving up my fav author’s list.

Uummm, I don't know how I feel about this book. It was interesting. Noni and Pre had this "arrangement" that worked fine for them until someone caught feelings. But if this arrangement wasn't some form of prostitution, I don't know what is. She's literally exchanging sex for goods. But I digress.
I didn’t really like Pre. He was just a little intrusive and a little rough. Like you can't tell him anything. It's his way or the highway. But I did like that Noni was able to control the arrangement...I like that she stood her ground. I love that she was way comfortable with her sexuality. BTW, she and Pre were nastyyy af, my goodness.
Pre came in, making demands with his BDE, thinking he was gonna füćķ Noni, talking about "Keep It Player" but it was SHE who fůçkėđ him. Sis had my dawg whiped. So, it was satisfying to watch him eat those words. This was a short, naughty read. This story was my first by Mercy and not my last.

This was fun and to the point, the lack of more in depth communication is what lost stars for me. Like the author is talented and descriptive and will write a good smut scene but the depth was lacking. For example Pre said in is like inner thoughts/his narrated chapter that Noni brought him a sense of peace. Why we get to the end and all say is the Coochie is A1 like I’m sorry that’s ODEE off putting like we having a first real date where we commit to a relationship and that’s all you could say. Like yes it’s a nice compliment but if all you can say to her is the sex is BOMB then sir just sponsor her life and go quietly cus WTH. Man was waxing poetic in his chapter but in her face was hella shallow lmao like Pre don’t piss me off

Whew! Noni is truly that girl. Once she realized there was a low chance she would ever get what she wanted from Pre, she decided to take what should could. I admire that about her. At every step she tried her best to stay within the boundaries she set for herself to keep her heart protect.
I'm not at all surprised Noni had a hard time keeping her feelings in check because Pre was applying pressure even when he was crying about not wanting a relationship. Try as he might, he was unable to resist Noni's charm.
This book was a quick and sexy read. Got the job done in under 100 pages without the story feeling incomplete.

Noni and Pre, female and male versions of each other. I loved the tug of war between them. Talk about fire and desire, whoa. I peeped a RahMeek and Bella reference (my all-time favs). Oh My Goodness this author never misses a beat. When I say I absolutely love her work I mean that. I loved the characters in this book and was glad to hear a little update on Tatiana and Grim but my fav was the name dropping of my favorite couple, Rahmeek and Bella Mfn Jones. Great work.

Pre met and wanted Mini from the get he thought he could just have fun sexing with no feelings. That didn't happen they hit it they both caught feeling and didn't know how to express it to one another. They got their $hit together and figured it out. Good little read it wasn't dragged out.
