This was the short I didn't know I needed. Bliss had been crushing on Silas for the longest, but she kept it cute. That was until one little incident. Bliss had no idea what she was getting herself into cause Silas wasn't playing. This was super cute. It was funny and I wished it was more. But this was super enjoyable. K. Laushaun is becoming an absolute favorite of mine.

Remember when Aaliyah said “Hot like fire�? Babbyyy she was talking about this book! I knew it was gon be all good when Silas said “I can fix that, Bliss� 😝😍. Though short, it was everything and then some okay! It’s amazing how in a few pages this author was able to make me feel the characters as if a full background was given. I LOVE that we got just enjoying to hook us, but still allow us to imagine that they got their happily ever after. I’ll be back for more 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This was a quick and funny romance! K. Lashaun had me cracking up at Bliss and her shenanigans. I loved Bliss and Elle’s friendship they kept me laughing. Silas moved with caution with Boardroom Bliss but when he had the opportunity to make his intentions clear he didn’t hesitate! This was a quick work place romance that will have you laughing out loud!

Fun quick read. Bliss was stuck in a rut of work, work and more work! Although she had a crush on her coworker, she never had the courage to shoot her shot. Silas, Bliss' coworker has been harboring secret feelings of his own for Bliss. A chance opportunity puts both Bliss and Silas in the position to make feelings known. However, lust took over! These two were scorching hot! Hope we get more of their story. Great read! 👍👍👍

Bliss was not looking for a man, but when her coworker Silas made it known she was what he was looking for, Bliss didn't want to. When Silas gave it one more try with Bliss, she gave in and they became a beautiful couple. This was my first book by this author and I loved the love story she told. Bliss and Silas were such a cute couple. I will definitely be reading more from this author!!

I need MORE. This was a super quick read, but also too short. I definitely wanted more of Bliss and Silas so I’m glad there’s a second book but I also need more. I would’ve loved to see them interact more, talk, chill, laugh, cry, all of the above. I also wanted to see more of them individually. Like why is Bliss so afraid of love? Why is Silas so taken by Bliss. But besides that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Silas is a definitively a smooth talker 😉

Whew, the story was good for a first read. I usually try to give new authors some leeway in my critique. In this story; it wasn't necessary. The story was about co-workers who became a couple in a short period of time. I believed them and their quick relationship. Silas reminded me of sexy coolness, and Bliss was just as her name stated. She was happiness and delightful. The story was short, and a satiated treat. Give this one a try.

Sorry, but this was too short to actually know the characters.
What i absolutely didn’t like as a 34yo woman: to reference to a woman with 38yo as old. Hello? In which century do we live where woman don‘t have to be married or got kids until 25/30 otherwise you’re too old or not good enough anymore to get yourself a man or decide to be single and happy!
Whatsoever it was 50% sex, 50% tension. The story didn‘t even feel finished!

Avoiding office hook-ups and the mess has kept Bliss happy. But her co-worker of four years Silas has had her feeling some type of way.
When she gets invited to an event, he comes too, alas their mutual friend is fam.
I loved how this all escalated from there. They've been crushing on each other but been afraid to act on it. It's hot, and raunchy but classy. It ended too fast.

k, lashaun DOESN’T miss. whether it’s short & sweet like a novella or a full out novel, she’s gonna have my ass gone EVERY SINGLE TIME. the tension, the banter, the lovable characters, it’s all ALWAYS there smacked on top of a great ass plot. Elle & Bliss together had me laughing out loud. 10/10 would definitely recommend <3

butterflies..
There’s something about single pov that leaves a lot to be desired! But when an Author can execute the characters mannerisms so well you understand what’s being said with out actually being said between the two. I absolutely loved this story!!! It was sexy, full of anticipation.. and when she finally got the characters together, i wanted to be a fly on the wall!

This was a cute little read about coworkers exploring the attraction between them. Bliss thought that Silas wasn't checking for her, low & behold she was allllllll he saw. This was short, funny & sweet. I cant wait to read about Elle & Miller because I can just feel the sexual oblivious tension.

quick short read, I enjoyed the author's writing style. not sure if there was a book I needed to read prior to this one, but I want to know more about these 2. I love when a MMC seem all innocent, and then when the spice comes, they are everything but. The sexual tension, the office scene, everything.

My only complaint ,if you even want to call it that lol is that it was tooooo short. I literally gasped when I saw “the end� but other than that I clearly enjoyed this novella & looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

I love a short story but I also like a good ending and although this wasn't the ending I expected it was still a nice steamy story hopefully book 2 will give us some more insight on their relationship, good read!
