The continuation of the awesome love journey of Richard and Katherine VanRyan.
Beautifully written to show a marriage tested in the face of a crisis that will require a lot of soul-searching work as a Richard regress back to his ogre-Richard persona following a devastating accident.
Exquisitely done and the epilogues are outstanding.

This Series is one of my favorite of Melanie Moreland, this is the perfect Box Set.
The Contract (book 1)
This is first book from this amazing author! This story has all the feelings! When a book makes me feel everything I know I’m gonna reread it. The romance, the connection between the characters, a little antsy in some parts but makes me want more and more until finished.
The Baby Clause (Book 2)
Do you want to fall in love with RVR again?? Then you need to see this beautiful side of him. I loved it so much.
The Amendment (book 3)
Oh wow! This book was a roller coaster of emotions. In one moment I want to slap RVR and in the other I want to hug him. Katy is the most wonderful and strong women ever. She’s an angel and everything he still need to be better. This book was spectacular and their HEA is perfectly real.

Love Richard and Katie.
I enjoyed reading Richard and Katie when read them when the books were separated. Reading them again in this box set was awsesome was like visiting with old friends. The authors puts a spell in me with her words and the great characters.

The contract
I liked it, not love but liked. The story was good, the characters were great. The recovery went out of wack for me. It seemed like it took a long time but it wasn't as long as it felt. Gracie is an absolute doll.

Such characters. Strong, resilient, broken, withdrawn, hopeful, determined. Unknowingly seeking love/acceptance. Good wonderful people, and some bad people�. Joy, despair, � all the feels with a nice HEA.

fantastic series
Absolutely fell in love with these characters immediately! A grumpy hero who just needs to see what love is all about. A heroine with a deeper story who just wants to be loved and accept - and the journey through life that they take together!!!

The Contract
Katy puts up with her horrible boss Richard so she can afford to look after her Aunt Penny the way she looked after her. Richard is arrogant, rude and cold and when he is passed over for promotion at work he hatches a plan for revenge. To make the plan work he needs Katy. When he makes her an offer she can’t refuse, they pretend to be engaged so he can get a new job. The company he wants to work for believes in family and Katy is the perfect tool to use to convince them he belongs. What Richard doesn’t realise is that there is more to Katy than the doormat who worked for him. When she charms the family she also starts to charm him. When he gets the job, the Gavin family shows him that you can be a good person and be successful. With Katy by his side he starts to see he could have everything. Katy has grown to care for her old nemesis and when she starts to see past the veneer he showed everyone that care grows to love, but she doesn’t believe that he knows how to love her. It takes a the people around him for Richard to realise that he is capable of love and that Katy is the one he wants to share it with and he better do everything he can to prove this to her.

Richard went from a closed off workaholic to a loving husband but when Katy gets pregnant he worries that he will be as bad as his own parents. Katy shows him that he is so much better than that. When their child is born and he holds them for the first time he realises he has no choice but to love them. Richard has given Katy an extended family and now she gives him a family of his own. They are all so cute together. Loved this short addition to their story.
The Amendment
Richard and Katy are thrown for a loop when Richard is in a car accident. He is seriously injured and he does not handle the situation very well. At times I wanted to shake him and then immediately give him a hug! So frustrating! He folds back in on himself and the old Richard reappears. Poor Katy is dealing with her feelings after the accident and then has to deal with the man she thought had disappeared for good. I felt so bad for her, but I honestly couldn’t imagine how I would cope if I had been in Richard’s situation. I was so glad that they had all of their friends/family around them. It was nice to see Richard get a kick up the bum from his friends. I loved how loyal Katy was and that Ryan eventually realised that everyone only cared that he was with them, no matter what. I loved how happy they were and the end.

So, The Contract was the first book I read by Melanie, and I haven't stopped reading her books since! This is such a fantastic series, full of emotions that will pull at those heartstrings. Not to be missed! Here is a shortened version of my reviews for each book in the Box Set, full reviews can be found on my page.
THE CONTRACT:
This was my first book by Melanie Moreland, I was drawn in by the storyline, I love a good enemies to lovers read, and this was certainly that, in fact I think its one of the best I've read!! I really enjoyed the story, how we see mega-douche Richard, who I really wanted to slap in the beginning, slowly change as he falls for Katy. I enjoyed Katy's transformation also, as she comes out of her shell and sticks up for herself with Richard, but also you see all the little ways in which she is helping Richard and they end up working as a team instead of against each other.
THE BABY CLAUSE:
I'm so glad this was written!! This was just adorable to see Richard and Katy as parents, as their baby arrives into the world. Absolutely loved this!
THE AMENDMENT:
You're definitely going to need some tissues for this one, I had tears flowing in several places that just wouldn't stop while I tried reading the blurry print!! The feels in this one, oh my goodness, my heart was shredded several times over!!

There is so much goodness wrapped up in this set! I have more in-depth reviews on my bookshelf. But here is my short version of why you should read this series:
The Contract -
Hands down one of my favorite 'fake relationship' books. What I love is not the emphasis on the trope and resolution, but the character growth of the hero and the unexpected strength of the heroine. Melanie Moreland paints a subtle picture of a man resistant yet destined to change.
The Baby Clause -
This story was an added bonus for fans who wanted to see a glimpse into the future. We witness the man we loved to hate to melt at the words "Daddy". Warning: Ovaries do not stay intact.
The Amendment -
Dear Readers a lesson in being careful what you wish for. Every fan asked for more Richard and Katy. Melanie Moreland was determined to tell a story to have these characters grow again. We never stop changing and Mrs. Moreland tests her couple to come out stronger in the end. Tissues are required for a beautiful story of a test of a marriage and how they come out stronger for it.

Richard VanRyan - the name says it all. He thinks he’s a big deal and guess what � he is a big deal. But Katharine Elliott is his kryponite. If you love the “fake relationship� trope, you must read this box set because all fake relationships should be measured by this series. The Contract Book #1 was my first experience reading Ms. Moreland’s work. Needless to say, I immediately obtained The Baby Clause 2.0, Book #2 in this set because I couldn’t get enough of RVR. And since all fans of RVR wanted more (like me!), Ms. Moreland gave us The Amendment, Book #3, and it’s a doozy. These are all emotionally charged, heartfelt, deeply moving and inspirational reads. I suggest a box of tissues for the laughter and tears you’ll shed and I also suggest setting aside a block of time because you’ll want to read the entire set in one sitting. Because of my obvious love of Ms. Moreland’s words, I’ve read everything she’s written and it all began with the Contract. Get this box set � you won’t be sorry!

This boxset will have you so invested. You meet Richard VanRyan who you will hate to love and love to hate. He is the ultimate alphahole and will put you through the emotional wringer. Katherine Elliott is sweet and sassy and can definitely hold her own against the man. Their journey is rocky and if filled with so much feels. But the moment that love blossoms between the pair� wow, it is explosive and worth all the ups and downs. The man is full of so much love and It continues to grow in each book of the series. Watching Richard’s growth from book 1 to the final book in this boxset is beautiful. Katy has definitely showed him how to love and with the type of man Richard is, he goes full-force and is all in. He is a character that will leave a long-lasting impression on you. Unforgettable and a formidable man that you will fall hard for. This couple is goals. P.S Richard as a daddy is spectacular.

In the box you'll meet the man we love to hate Richard VanRyan. He's a tough cookie to swallow when we meet him. He's found himself in a predicament that only Katy can help him. When they start off, neither are prepared for what is store for them. Friendship, marriage and maybe the most surprising thing - LOVE. We meet the new loves of their lives, that are their daughters who are the apple of his eye. And we get to see that even the most solid relationship is put to the test a time or two, to see if the love can survive it all.
In case you're wondering after all the tears, you'll be left with a huge smile on your face.

I love it when an author can make me hate a character and by then end love him. This was how this book started for me. I feel bad for his poor assistant that is led down this horrible road, but I promise it all works out in the end. You can feel Katy’s desperation for her job. She makes good money being Richard’s assistant but not nearly enough to survive. Richard doesn’t understand because he has money and doesn’t need this job at all. I love that the ice around his heart melts and the promise he makes to her Aunt. I love that she is feisty and puts Richard in his place even though she is under contract with him. I can’t call this book an enemy to lovers because it’s more asshat to lovers. However, it is an enemy to lovers and I really did love it. This series doesn’t disappoint. It leaves you thirsty and wanting more.

Wow - I fell in love with Richard and Katy's story from the first book (Contract) and then again in the second book (Baby Clause) my admiration for the couple grew. Now we have the third book in the series and I just want to give them both a hug. Their marriage will be tested, their strength wil be tested and they will have to hit rock bottom before they can go back up again. Melanie Moreland has a way to bring the characters to life and the reader feels every heart break, every shattered hope and dream and every hopeful triumph. This story will rip your heart out and make you want to slap the characters but in the end the reader will be in a better place than when they started the book. If there was one series that should be a movie - it should be this one.

I absolutely love this series. The Contract was the first book I ever read by Melanie Moreland, and the series continue to be one of my favorites.
Richard and Katy are fire!!! They are a match made on a deal. Richard is about as stubborn as they come and Katy is just pure fire. I absolutely love these characters as individuals and together.
Thought out the series you see a huge change in our stubborn Richard, while he stays stubborn as hell you will fall in love with him by the end of the series if not sooner.

I love Melanie Moreland and this series is one of her best writings! Richard is a classical character in the romance history and it is one you will never forget. Katy is one hell of a woman to handle him and she will be my forever goddess for that.
The first book, The Contract, is one of the best I have ever read.

Richard Van Ryan.
Richard has come a long way from the beginning of The Contract. From snobby, egotistical workaholic to loving family man, Richard and Katy's story is not to be missed. Still one of my favorite characters ever, Richard is amazing. Don't miss this box set with three of their stories!!

This is the perfect way to grab the first three books in this awesome series. If you are new to this series, you need to grab this to find out why we're all so crazy about Richard VanRyan. Richard and Katy have you falling hard and fast and feeling all the Feels. Their story is fun, beautiful and utterly heartachingly genuine. It will move you to tears and leave you swooning.

From jerk to loving husband and father, Richard VanRyan has become one of my favorite romance characters ever. This box set is everything from finding The One to losing what you think makes you the person you are. From learning to be a family to also finding a made family. We get all the feels and then some, and it's one fantastic journey.
