An absolute must for anyone serious about getting into a top MBA programme. Don't be put off by the publishing date, it's still all very relevant and true. I got offers from two out of two top business schools thanks to this book!

This book was my main preparation guide to get me into Kellogg - will be forever grateful to Richard Montauk for his no-nonsense advice on how to optimally prepare for the arduous process of business school applications.

Recommended read for anyone looking for a job or looking to get into a study program. It's targeted towards MBAs but the lessons can be applied to any (job) application or interview.

This is a must-read for anyone applying to business school. Honestly, my reaction to some of the information, and "inside tips" was, "Uh. Duh." But, this book contained several quotes from people in admissions offices in numerous top twenty MBA programs. It also contained useful tables of what skills to highlight, what not-highlight, and how to appear rounded -- essentially, how to successfully market yourself. My main regret is that I read the book a week before my applications were due, too late for me to implement all the strategies.

The book is a little outdated now, but the basics are still relevant. Learn how to reflect on your experiences and what makes you unique. Figure out how to craft your story. Find out some of the strengths and nuances about reputations from some of the schools. Warning, however...leave yourself ample time to put it all together. Good MBA applications require good thought and practiced execution.

The book contains good information on how to select schools that fit you best, and valuable strategies to complete the application processes. I found especially interesting the approaches to the writing of the different essays from each top school. Some of the data is a bit outdated, but most of it is still relevant. Overall, I feel I can recommend this book to anyone pursuing admission at a top business school.

this is a fantastic resource for anyone hoping to get an MBA. it has sample essays, interview prep materials and ideas on how to manage the very time-consuming (and expensive) business school application process.
