FIRST READ : Read at September 2010
This is the story after the event from . So this one is about Wraith and Serena. Told their life after they're mated and how Serena face her new life as a vampire. My compliment just, well the story is to short.
BTW, Give me more of them, and I will happy, if Larissa Ione make free story about Eidolon-Tayla, my other favorite couple :D
SECOND READ : March, 2011
Well, at March, 28th, 2011, my dream is come true!!!
Finally, Larissa wrote the scene between E and Tayla. The story take place between and . Tell about E that want to be a father and make Tayla pregnant, but he don't want use his power to do that. Wonder that finally, he and Tayla get what they want ^^. Beware, their sex scene is scorching HOT!!
Now, all Seminus Brothers (except Lore and Sin), are become father..

For celebrating her anthology , that made it into USA Today Bestseller (congrats!!), Larissa Ione once again make short story for Demonica character, and now its about Luc-Kar!!

My review after read it :
We know Luc, warg and competent medical staff at UGH (Underworld General Hospital). After the event at , he meet his mate, another warg, Kar. Kar is pregnant,and she will giving a birth soon. Like mostly men, Luc not ready to become father. Although he want to help Kar, Luc can't do anything since Kar want to do it herself. Luc feel helpless, but his life is complete, when finally their child born.
The story is short, but sweet. Not hot like another Demonica:Overkill story, but its good to see what happen to Luc and Kar when they face the beginning of their parenthood. There are cameo from Runa and Conall too. For Demonica fans,this short story of course can't be missed!

Color me surprised but maybe because I'm so busy last year, I missed two short story that Ms Ione deliver (and posted on her blog). If I'm not stumbled into ŷ, maybe I'll missed it :(.
The first is Oh, Christmas Hell, Oh, Christmas Hell that told Runa and Shade's story. Whoaa their children are so cute and even this couple is not my favorite, I enjoy their story. It basically about Shade's worriness with Christmas for he doesn't want to lie to his children about Santa, and Runa help him to understand. Very short, and not steamy. So it safe to read this in the office, lol!
The second is O Come, All Ye Horsemen (and Angels), which continued after event in Shade's. This is a spoiler one, if you not read Rogue Rider first, you can skip this one. Already read it? Good.
So, Reaver just found that he is the father of Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, and now he doesn't know what to do with his children. See, he missed them for five thousands years, give and take. So not daddy material. With help from Eidolon (me squeal here!!), Reaver giving the Horsemen the most awesome gift for them all. The story is very short (shorter than Shade's) but it still bring tears in my eyes. I can't wait to read Reaver's own book after this :)

I love revisiting old friends and have a glance at their lives.
These snippets can work basically as family pictures of the lives of our favourite demons from demonica series and their friends.
We read about:
-Wraith and Serena hunting and being passionately in love
-Eidolon and Tayla trying to become parents and realising how much their life is gonna change
-Luk and Kar becoming parents and Luk not looking so cool about it
-Kaden and Andrea moving to New York Aegis cell in order to being able to be together for ever
-Shade and Runa celebrating Christmas with their 3 children. Shade feeling bad because he needs to lie to his boys about Santa
-Reaver finding the most awesome presents for his 4 children

Larissa Ione flat-out rocks! The Demonica series, with it's kick-ass characters, snarky, dark humor, and wicked hot sex, is one of my favorites, and I loved this quick (free!) glimpse into the married life of sexy couple Wraith and Serena.

I love seeing what our favorite characters are up to once their book is finished. JR Ward does it via her message boards, which is cool, but hard for those of us who can't "interact" when she's online. I think that authors like Alexis Morgan whose Paladins have some short stories and blog interaction, and now Larissa Ione, who put up free short stories for those of us obsessed with her characters are the best!
I thought it was a hot steamy glimpse into what Wraith and Serena are up to. I loved the scene where he was hunting for her, and how they not only played chase, but made love and then went home to baby Stewie(snicker, Stewie!).
Very cool Larissa Ione, very cool.

Because they’re spoilery for the earlier books, you definitely need to have read all of the books in the Demonica series before you read the first four stories, and the Lords of Deliverance books before you read the last two. Some of them feature big milestones, others are just for fun, but there is heaps of hotness, and some beautifully tender moments between each of the couples that had me swooning and grinning like an idiot.
I love the Demonica world, and I adore the characters, so this opportunity to get another little glimpse into their lives is pure win for me!

I love it when authors give something extra to their fans and these snippets of life after the Demonica books is a perfect example of that. It's always nice to see how your favourite characters are getting on after the end of their book! I know we've caught up with these characters throughout the Demonica series and now they make appearances throughout the Lords of Deliverance books too but these short stories focus on some of my favourite couples and show us how they're getting on. Some really sweet scenes but as you'd expect from Larissa Ione there are also some really hot ones too - definitely recommended for Demonica fans but you'd probably get a bit lost and pick up spoilers if you haven't read the main books.

If you’ve ever wondered what comes next after the HEA, these short stories are a great way to catch up with your favorite Demonica characters.
Wraith & Serena � This short update on Wraith and Serena takes place at an unspecified time, following their story in Passion Unleashed. This vampire couple are seen out on a hunt for prey, along with the heated aftermath that follows. I loved this brief update that demonstrates how they’ve bonded, both as a couple and with their child, and it shows a playful side to their pairing, while also being smokin� hot. This was a really fun, little read. Star Rating:
Tayla & Eidolon � This brief update on Tayla and Eidolon takes place between Sin Undone and Eternal Rider. It shows Eidolon coming home after a long day of work at Underworld General Hospital, more than ready for some action in the bedroom. This couple is also trying to get pregnant and we get to see how that goes. This was an intensely sexy story that was a deliciously steamy read. Star Rating:
Luc & Kar � This little story about Luc & Kar takes place eight months after the events of Sin Undone and shows the birth of their child. Based on their part in that book, I’d thought perhaps their story would play out as a secondary romance in future books of the series, but it looks like I may have been wrong. This story shows them happily living together and preparing for their future with a new little one. Up to this point, Luc has been so intensely alpha that he can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, so he hasn’t been one of my favorite characters. But I really enjoyed this story, because he basically turns into a puddle of mush with worry over Kar as she gives birth and then over their baby afterward. This story really helped me to appreciate Luc more as a character and I very much enjoyed it. Star Rating:
Kaden & Andrea � This is basically a two-chapter epilogue to Kaden and Andrea’s story. If you’ve read the stand-alone ebook version of Eternity Embraced, you’ve already read this story, but if you read Kaden and Andrea’s novella in The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance in which it was first published, then you won’t want to miss this update. It shows how this couple avoid punishment for Andrea and death for Kaden at the hands of their own Aegis Guardian cell by transferring to Tayla’s cell in New York and wraps up with an ultra-sexy scene for them at the end. I’m glad I was able to read the story in its entirely the first time around, but for those readers who didn’t, I think this will be a welcome update. Star Rating:

Formerly being human, Runa loves the holidays, but Shade is in a rather grumpy mood. Since it’s their third Christmas together where this has happened, Runa wants to know what’s going on. Shade finally fesses up to having an unusual reason for not liking Christmas, and the two of them find common ground that will please them both moving forward. I really enjoyed this cute, slice-of-life story for Shade and Runa. I loved getting a glimpse of their mischievous triplets and Reaver volunteering for baby-sitting duty while Shade and Runa have their talk shows that he has the makings of a good father. I also like how Shade and Runa talk things out to find a solution. Overall, this was a fun, little story. Star Rating:

Between this story and the previous short, “Oh, Christmas Hells, Oh Christmas Hells…� where he babysits Shade and Runa’s triplets, I can tell he will be a great dad, so I hope he gets another chance in his own book to do just that. Overall, this was a sweet, heartwarming story that really embodies the Christmas spirit. Star Rating:
*Revenant: Epilogue - This is a short story of only approximately five pages that occurs nine months after the events in Revenant. It mainly covers the birth of Idess and Lore’s baby and the reveal of which of Lore’s brothers is the baby’s biological father. It also shows Revenant and Blaspheme happy and looking forward to seeing what the future holds. I loved this little slice of life from the Demonica world. I’d been looking forward to this event and was glad to see it wasn’t overlooked. However, Larissa Ione wrote a note in which she explained that this epilogue was originally intended for the novel, but it ultimately wasn’t included because her editor thought it would be too confusing for new readers. This is one of those cases where I have to disagree. I personally felt it was kind of disrespectful to long-time readers, like myself, who’ve been with the Demonica series from the beginning, to not include it. Sure, it’s available on Ms. Ione’s website for free, but not all readers frequent author websites to even realize it’s there. So I believe having it in the book would have been a better way to show appreciation for loyal fans, but in any case, I’m happy we got to find out this little tidbit. Overall, I thought it was a fun wrap-up to the story. Star Rating:

This was a cute little blurb that let us see how shade and Runa are handling all their kids and the meshing of their very different holidays. It was good to get a little catch up from some often overlooked characters. The story was available for free on the author's website, so anyone can swing by and read it for themselves.
In the spirit of reading everything from these overlapping books, I'm going to read all the mini stories to make sure I don't miss anything!

This was another of the author's short little reads that take place before Reaver's book. It follows Reaver as he tries to figure out what his first gifts to his children should be. As most Christmas stories are, it was adorable and heart warming to watch these tough guys and girls share a moment during the holidays. I can't wait to read Reaver's book now.

I had always wondered how Serena would fair with her new vampire status, so I was glad to learn that there was a free short story featuring Serena and Wraith on Larissa's website. The juggling act that Wraith is now committed to between his brothers, his mate, and the baby is wonderful. To see him in his element with the love of his life and to see him truly grounded in love and happiness is beautiful. I think back to Passion Unleashed in the Demonica series and can't believe the progress he has made. One minute not caring if he lived or died and the next, willing to do anything it took to make sure the people he loved were happy. Excellent short story and I can't wait to see if more short stories will be coming out for the rest of the couples. The cover is beautiful as well.

Mini Review:
Oh I am SO happy this was made! I know I'm not the only person that wonders what happens after the story ends and even though these stories were short, they were fantastic for me! :) I loved reading about Serena and Wraith, Tayla and Eidolon. I haven't read the other stories cause one's not available and I haven't read the fourth book. I'm going to wait till I finish the rest of the series before I finish the other two. But I'm really excited!

This was great, even though it was short. I love how Larissa writes in the first place, and to think we would want to have an update on one of her characters was above and beyond. There's been many times I've wondered about a certain character, but never find out any more than the story allowed. Thanks so much Larissa. **MUAH**

Finally got around to reading this one too and have to say it was pretty nice for a few brief snippets. Also took me a moment to recall a few of the character mentioned, but I finally got around to doing so. Although have to admit I liked Shade and Runa's the best.

Oh how I love Wraith and Serena, even more so now that she's a vampire. This was a hot little glimpse into how they're doing -- which is quite well. It's also free because Larissa Ione is awesome like that. It was quite short, which is the only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars. I know it was free so I shouldn't be asking for too much, but I still want more of Wraith - he's so sexy!

I honestly don't remember Kaden or Andrea from the Demonica books. I'm sure one or both of them were in there, but it's been awhile so I don't remember. But Kaden is a vampire Guardian and Andrea is a Guardian as well. Anything including hot vampire sex is okay by me so this was pretty good. ;) It probably would be better if I remember the characters though. lol
Update: Okay now this makes more sense. This actually takes place AFTER the short story , as an extension of that. So be sure to read that first!

Really cute story about Luc and Kar having a baby. Really short though, but still cute. I know it's free so I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but the only thing I would change is making it a little longer. Like a few scenes of him trying to change a diaper or something. lol
I would really have loved it if Luc got a full book too, but *sigh* oh well. At least Reaver's finally getting a book! :)

Rating: 3 stars - I liked it
While this collection of short scenes is listed at 5.7 in the series, I suggest waiting to read this until after you read Rogue Rider because the final two stories take place after that book and there are spoilers.
Wrath and Serena:
This was a very steamy scene with Wraith and Serena hunting and enjoying some alone time. I really love seeing Serena embrace her vampire side and bonding with Wraith during his hunts.
Tayla and Eidolon:
This takes place between Sin Undone and Eternal Rider.
This was a very emotional and steamy scene with Tayla and Eidolon. They finally get their wish and I can’t wait to see how it affects them in the future.
Luc and Car:
This takes place after Sin Undone.
Car is finally having her baby and Luc is not taking it well. I loved seeing Luc melt at meeting his child. I really hope we see more of these two in the future because I like them both.
Kaden and Andrea:
This is the final two chapters in the Eternity Embraced ebook with Kaden and Andrea seeking asylum with Tayla’s Aegis cell.
Shade and Runa:
This takes place between Rogue Rider and Reaver.
A Christmas scene with Runa and Shade talking about Santa and their childhoods.
