A cascade of thoughts rushed my mind, fueled by fear of the unknown, of what I may be, and what I might become. 𝘱𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘵 My thoughts raced alongside, exponentially speeding up. The deathly tone of the hall, the occasional splashing of the puddles underneath its feet. With each step, a vacuum formed in my soul, crushing all that I had left.

Sunshine. The hair on the ends of my neck stood up. The entire atmosphere of the room had almost ... evolved. The lights swayed gently and as they flickered. Cowering underneath the shadow of a small desk, I slowly poked my head into the dim light, draping as much of myself in the darkness as it were covers on my bed, hugging, and clinging onto the darkness, as it would hide me from the monster underneath. The door was still closed. Something felt off. The door. Closed. I had not closed the door coming into the room. I slowly rotated back into the full complete darkness. SUDDENLY A chilling scream across a vast expanse echoed through the walls and pillars, finding it's way and striking my eardrums. I shivered. I cried. I whimpered in fear of what I may be, of what I might become. The eerily monotonous hum of the room stopped, and across the room, each light flickered on like a wave. A wave approaching me, faster and faster, I could not move. Each light that turned on a click followed, each click getting louder and louder, closer and closer.
The last click echoed in the room. It wasn't a click, it was more of a loud bang. The rays of light bounced off my skin and my bright blue sweater. I sat up, defeated, palms digging into my skull. I let a small crack in my fingers and peered through them. The silhouette of hundreds of figures with what seemed to cones on their head stood, fiery lit torches held in one hand, and the other, behind their backs. My time was up. I knew it was the end.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They all shouted aloud "I told you guys I hate surprise birthday parties." I pouted back "How did you even know that I was working late at the warehouse today?" A short stocked balding head appeared amongst the crowd. "Ah," I muttered under my breath, "my boss" "Well come on, let's go celebrate, we have an entire warehouse, look alive." Reluctantly, I stood up and walked towards the crowd. My fate, I have already accepted. I'm too young to die.
Very good book for those who want to develop applications on the Sharepoint platform (WSS 3.0). The book is not for those of you who need to learn how to configure Sharepoint or how to use Sharepoint Designer.
The book is thorough enough to be the only book recommended as preparation tool and resource for Microsoft exam .
This is one I started a long while ago and just found again, so I decided to finish it. It's a good book which covers the technology very well. Obviously it would be better to read a more up to date version against SharePoint Foundation instead of 3.0
