I really like menage stories and have read some good ones but this was one of those that just did not do it for me!!

The characters irritated me...the hairy nudists, the alien thing, the little town of Bliss and it's occupants, the instant falling in love, which just did not ring true for me....but that's just my opinion.

I know that there are a lot of readers who enjoyed the story but I was not "grabbed"!!

I will probably read the next book in the series and hopefully it will do something more for me.

This man tore away all her defenses and inhibitions.

A litte suspense with a whole lot of sexy makes Three To Ride one titillating read! I first got curious about Lexi's Bliss series when she hinted at it in . As I hadn't yet read this series that she initially released under her Sophie Oak pen name yet, I was instantly intrigued.

Rachel Swift is a heroine that I clicked with right away. This is a woman that's trying everything to escape a dangerously obsessed stalker that has the resources of being a cop behind him. Forced on the run with nothing to her but her few meager belongings, she's about to give up hope when she stumbles into the small town of Bliss, Colorado and instantly falls in love. What she doesn't expect is to fall for a sweet yet brooding man while also harboring feelings for his twin brother and town sheriff.

I absolutely loved the way that Rachel took no sh*t from either man. She was quick to shut down Rye's advances since she was dating his twin, and she was quick to put Max in his place any time he let his unreasonable jealousy get the best of him.
You will treat me like a lady, Maxwell Harper. You will politely ask me questions, and you will not accuse me of anything again unless you’re damn sure I’ve done something to deserve it. You will not walk into my place of business and tell the town I’m some sort of harlot. Is that understood?

While her relationship with Max starts when he pursues her, it's still a bit of a slow burn. All the while, she's fighting her attraction to his twin, even though rumors in town is that the men like to share everything...and I do mean everything.

The road to the menage is a slow and sizzling burn. It also had the added element of suspense from Rachel's stalker which I enjoyed thoroughly. The pacing was perfect and I really liked how everything wrapped up in the end. I can't wait for more in this deliciously kinky series!

descriptionOddly enough, I did not enjoy this one upon rereading as much as I did when I first read is AGES ago. This time around I found it frustrating that Rye isn't included in Max's and Rachel's relationship until 80% into the book. I guess nowadays I prefer my menages to start on equal footing and not with two people already dating, having sex, and in love, while the third sits on the outside looking on in sadness <--- slightly dramatic, but that is kind of how it felt for me (shrug).

description

That said, I still enjoyed the book overall. It was full of humor. It was well written. The plot was engaging. I adore the town of BLISS and all its quirky and intriguing characters. I loved all three main characters (especially Max). The sex scenes were hot. I loved the small mention of Alex. I didn't find it particularly angsty, and there was just a little OW or OM drama. So yea, I enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to rereading the next book. Therefore yours truly is going to give this one two thumbs up.description

Okay...totally didn't know if I could handle this one. Ms. Oak has presented two delicious twin cowboys for us to fall head over heels for in this book. And these delicious twin cowboys like to share. (My husband is a twin...didn't know if it would be too much of an ick factor for me.)But I got an ARC copy in my hands and wasn't about to not read it, possible ewie factor be damned.

I was pleasantly surprised, as I was introduced to Max and Rye (short for Ryan) and really got to know them as people, falling head over heels for these boys in the process. The two guys decide, for the good of their future families, that they needed to pursue separate relationships. They want to be normal...well as normal as two slightly mind-melded hotties can be living in a hippie founded town, while dealing with the nudists, the mimes, and the alien conspiracy theorists. For me the best way to accept a less than socially accepted situation is to show me how, it could be normal for the characters. And I was totally in love with the town from the first description. When Sheriff Rye broke out the alien technology detector to scan Mel's house to ensure he wasn't in danger of another anal probe....yup....I was cracking up.

Our heroine is running from a psycho stalker. And what better place to run than into the arms of a notorious bastard horse wrangler. But from the start we see that Max, who is known to flip his lid if his burger is not burnt to a crip, is no match for Rachael...er...Liz...er...whoever she calls herself at the time.

Rye comes back from a two-week hiatus to see his twin head over heels for the new waitress in town. He even ate pickles for her!!! But sorry M/M enthusiasts...it's not those kind of pickles. *snort* These boys share, but no twincest in this novel.

Rachael...the name of her new identity, and who we know her as through most of the book, begins a relationship with Max. Well she screws him in a pond and then decides he's a keeper, at any rate.

We get a lot of..."I don't know if we'll scare her away."...with a smattering of "I don't want to come between them"...and just a dash of "I can't put people I care about in danger" before all three of our menage finally realize they've been dumbasses and want the same thing.

This book was sexual tension at its best. While we get a little one on one action from our heroine and Max pretty early on, we don't get the money scene starring Rach, Max, and Rye, until after half-way through this tale. And ooooh baby did we get rewarded for our wait.

I love the way Sophie Oak blends a little action, a lot of heat, and a little humor in her books. I found myself bouncing around from squirming at the heat between our trio, feeling scared for our heroine, and laughing at Rye's frequent maturbatory trips to the bathroom. This book was a fun ride and I couldn't put it down.

We get M/F, M/F/M, and some light D/s stuff. But mostly I got to know a great cast of characters, and enjoy the tale of how they all came together in a crazy situation. This is the type of book I love to read, because it's not able to be classified. Was it SuperSmut...well not really...the sex scenes were smokin...but it didn't take up too much of the book. Was it comedy...while it was funny...and had me snorting coffee out my nose at points...there were too many other factors at play. Was it a thriller...well there were definitely some thrilling moments (I want my own guesthouse now)...it was definitley not focused heavily on the non-sexual action. So lets call this one a definite re-read and leave it at that. (especially chapter 13...*fans self*)

“Why shouldn’t she have this? Why should she deny herself.

Rachel, Max, and Rye…three wonderful characters that stole my heart years ago, are back in a re-released, second edition of THREE TO RIDE by Lexi Blake writing as Sophie Oak. With a couple of new chapters as well as some additional new content, I was absolutely SMITTEN all over again! If you haven’t ventured to Bliss, Colorado, you are FOR SURE missing out on something special. I can’t even begin to tell you the feeling of peace and contentment when you finally do experience this world that Lexi Blake has so cleverly created.

I’m definitely no prude, but the gorgeous relationship that blossomed between these three made me blush from head to toe, leaving me in a consistent state of bliss. It has action, adventure, and passion for days! I don’t always have time to reread romances, but when I do, you can guarantee it will be a Lexi Blake novel every single time!

First thoughts after reading.

I expected a lot of smut and not a lot of plot. Colour me surprised. I got both. Lol.

The Characters.

Rachel Swift is on the run after an act of kindness gave her this. She is on the second of her three fake identities. After nearly been caught in San Diego she has landed in Bliss, Colorado. She has the moose’s approval. The past year has been hard for Rachel what with living out of her car and with very few belongings to her name. A shell of herself. She needs a break, she gets that and a job on top but is still homeless. Not for long.

Max Harper is the bear of the county maybe also the teddy bear of the county he is set in his ways. He is a grouch, augmentative and contrary. He prefers animals to humans. That is until Rachel.

With Rachel he is a changed man. An astounding change in him. He pays his tickets and everything.
Rye Harper is the county sheriff a job he isn’t that keen on but sacrifices had to be made to look after his baby sister Brooke. He is the charmer of the two. The reasonable one. The sweet one, the sane and calm one.

I loved Rye and Rachel. Max flew off the handle too much for me. But there were times with his puppy dog eyes and his puppy demeanour you just couldn’t be upset with him.

The Chemistry.

Max and Rye want that one woman to call their own but after the Nina debacle they have decided to go solo. Although they did dodge a bullet there. Rachel feels an instant attraction to Max. She is the Max whisperer in Bliss. Max feels that he has found the one but doesn’t want to ruin it by sharing with Rye. Rye was instantly attracted to Rachel as well but all she saw was the uniform. But she can’t keep her feelings for both brothers hidden for long and she decides to go after what she wants. She wants Rye & Max. Grab a fan ladies cause those were steaming for me personally those three could have got it on sooner. As they share very near to the end. That was the one thing I didn’t like.

The Writing, Plot & Bliss, Colorado.

“What do you think she meant when she called this a weird town? Max yawned. “I have no idea. It’s a great town it’s nice and quiet, except when the Farley boys to try launch those rockets of theirs.

“Don’t forget the Wiccans chanting. That can get loud. Woo Woo Fest was coming up in a couple of months. He hated the Woo Woo Fest. “They only do that a couple of times a year. It’s the live-action role-playing that I take an exception to, Max said with a frown. “Those kids scare my horses. Other than that, we’re perfectly normal.

And I fell in love with Bliss, Colorado.

I just love the author’s writing it sucks you in and keeps you hanging on each letter, word and sentence. All the secondary characters are of solid quality and are a riot. Mel who was kidnapped by aliens. Stella who owns the diner. Callie, Jen and Stef. The pace is set well. It is all engaging and entertaining. All loose ends are tied up and I love how the ending was.

The Verdict.

Go Quigley. Read the book it is amazeballs I want the next in the series. It is worth it. Believe me or don’t, lol. I had so much fun with Three to Ride. Alex from the Masters & Mercenaries was mentioned but I wanted to meet him.

Who would've thought that I would one day be readingand reviewing an erotica? And an M/F/M erotica, at that?

And who would've thought it would beA Court of Thorns and Rosestriggering that urge deep inside me? I mean, come on, surely you've noticed the oozing hotness of Tamlin and Rhysand and imagined yourself sandwiched between them? Surely, I' m not the only one thinking of such a thing?!

From hot faeries to sexual cowboy twins with seemingly large, hot, humongous AND throbbing "members"...

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED, FAYE?!?!?! WHAT HAS POSSESSED YOU?!

Objectively, this book had many things that I normally hate. For one, insta-love. Maxwell and Rye Harper, two twins who are seemingly drop-dead panty-dropping grogeous, meet Rachel Swift. Upon seeing her for the first time, they fall in love with her and try their damn best to get her love and attention. The same goes for Rachel - she sees Max and she can already feel heat forming in the "mound" between her legs; she sees Rye and she wonder what is it like to have his big hands on her thigh.

...which was bad, but not because it was insta-love, but because before meeting them, she had run-ins with a very aggressive and violent stalker, who not only killed her dog but also set her house on fire. Something like that - and by something, I mean a chain of events that practicaly force you to assume countless identities to escape that monster - should make any woman fairly paranoid and maybe traumatized, but cue in from stage left the hot d00d and she goes all wet and fantasizes about them. After their first real conversation (and not just stolen glances), she initiates sex. I really found that weird, unrealistic, and honestly, fast-paced.

But I'm glad that she was far from submissive, which I found to be a recurring theme in the previous eroticas I read before this one (EEP!!!). She doesn't give in to a possessive twin and even gives him a piece of her mind, which, predictably, made her even more "desirable" in the eyes of the wild Maxwell.

One thing that I really liked here, though, was the sex. THEY WERE HOT . I've read a lot of NA and recently read some eroticas (ANOTHER EEP!!) and after the first sex scene, the succeeding ones oftentimes become boring and repetitive. But not here - the sex scenes here were really refreshing, amazingly vivid and described that would really make your fingers twitchy with need. Even the M/F/M scene was really something! And it's not half-assed either, where it only lasts a couple of pages of fast-paced action and that's it. NOPE. It takes its time, explores, and makes you want it, too.

YEAH, DON'T GET ANY IDEAS NOW.

All I can say is, if I'm going to read more eroticas, I'm going to make sure I'll finish this author'slist of books first. She writes them best so far. Not even 50 Shades of Grey comes close.

A feisty young woman on the run from a stalkerish cop/ex-boyfriend lands in a small, quirky Colorado town (Bliss). The town is filled with colorful characters and a liberal attitude. And two smokin' hot twin brothers--Max and Rye Harper. Max and Rye own a ranch where cranky Max is a sort of "horse whisperer" and charming Rye is the town sheriff. Max and Rye are looking for the perfect woman to share and make their wife without much luck, until they spot the town diner's sexy new waitress. Almost before you can blink an eye, Max has staked his claim (be prepared to suspend disbelief, because the ILY's happen mighty quick). But Rachel wants no part of trusting a man again--Max might be fun as a friend with benefits, but long term? She's afraid to want something like that. And then there's Max's brother Rye--he's a lawman, and Rachel can't bring herself to trust a cop again. But she can't deny her attraction to him too. What's a girl to do when she finds herself yearning to settle down with not one but two incredible men...should she keep running from her past or trust the two men who she's grown to love to protect her?

Sheriff Rye...

Max...

This was fast, funny, cute, and plenty steamy! I loved the sexy twins Max and Rye, and Rachel was no slouch either--she took no guff and held her own. There were a few moments where I had to suspend my disbelief -Max knows he's in love with Rachel almost the moment he talks to her- and I couldn't believe that the crazy ex-boyfriend that was after Rachel couldn't be brought to justice, but...it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the story. It was light, fluffy brain candy, and sometimes you need a read like that. For pure entertainment and hotness, easily 4 solid stars. And I'm heading back to Bliss...

What a funny read! I'm a big fan of quirky and you definitely get that with the townspeople of Bliss. You have a nudist colony, a mountain man who believes in aliens and a moose that visits people. Bliss seems to be the town where people in trouble stop at and never leave. This is true for our heroine, Rachel (Liz). She's on the run for her life from a stalker who happens to be a cop. When her car breaks down in Bliss, Colorado, everyone welcomed her with open arms.

Our heroes Max and Rye are twin brothers fresh off another failed relationship. As twins, their connection is so strong that their dream is to find one woman to love and build a family with. Unfortunately, it's been hard to find one woman to appreciate both Max an Rye's different personalities.

Max is not as charming as Rye and has a very rough exterior to his personality. For this reason, he has told Rye he needs to find a woman without him. He feels like he is holding Rye back and has just accepted that he will be alone. Funny how it was Max who found Rachel first which left Rye as the one on the outside looking in.

Max and Rye may be opposite in personalities but you can really see their bond as twins and how right it was that they needed only one woman to complete their family. I really enjoyed this story and all the quirky personalities of the town. I'm looking forward to reading more in the series.

SOPHIE OAK! You evil evil woman. I see how it is, tease me with a free hit and now I'm craving your bloody books like a heroin addict. Good lord woman, what is with these hot sex scenes? I've been hearing Sinful go on and on about Bliss. Who names a town Bliss? Then you fill it with these crazy lunatics. I tell my DH about the people in this town. He looks at me and says, "I bet it was founded by freaking hippies". I get to Founder's Day celebration and find out, the town IS founded by freaking hippies.

Your sense of humour is right up my alley. Sasquatch sighting was hilarious. I chortled at that piece. Political protest in a mime? Who comes up with this crazy shit? I had my DH snorting with amusement in a good way. The sex scenes...ah, the important sex scenes. Wow do I want Rye and Max - just for a ride though. I don't want them forever. This book was hot with the sex scenes and they weren't even heavy BDSM or anything super kinky. Well, if you take into account that menage with twins isn't really too kinky. I guess I'm corrupted. Then Stephen. I think I'd like to be around him! So of course, I have to buy your two other Bliss books, Be-yotch! I hope you're happy, Ms. Sophie Oak! My DH is now looking at his amazon bill going, WTF? Why are you buying all these books? Are these sex books? My answer, damn straight they are sex books. HOT sex books with a great plot and lovable characters. I recommend this to those who love a good romance and some hot menage.

This was book 1 in the "Nights in Bliss, Colorado " series. Elizabeth Courtney aka Rachel Swift is on the run from a stalker Tommy who is also a cop in Dallas. When her car breaks down in a mountain town in Colorado she gets a job at the diner of this beet loving hippie town that has a nudist community. Rye Harper who is the sheriff who has a twin brother Max they are used to sharing everything they were dumped by a woman that Rye wanted to marry although he didn't love her the boys decide to stop sharing and when Max meets Rachel she tells him off. Max Harper is a hot head when he meets Rachel he knows that he has to change he doesn't want her to see his bad side. When he catches her skinny dipping in a lake on there land they get hot and heavy in the lake although he wants to take it slow they have sex first and then decide to date. When Rye returns from a two week conference he can't believe that Max is dating Rachel she is everything that they have been looking for in a woman and when they first meet she is scared of Rye because he is a cop and she doesn't trust the law. This is a corky little town with Mel and his alien's coming to town and the naked people walking around and Rachel not afraid to put Max in his place when he accuses her of cheating when he finds out that she is living in her car. This was a good book with some hot sex scenes Rachel learned to stop running from Tommy when he finds her the whole town is willing to keep her safe. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. If you like reading MFM then I recommend that you read this book.

I LOVED this story. The interaction between the heroine and the twin, yes I said TWIN, hero's was great. There were so many times when I laughed out loud and actually snorted (I don't snort). The love scenes were HOT and there was a villian that was truly evil. The secondary characters were great too and I am going to start reading Callie's story now and hope soon there will be Stephan's story. I wanted this story to go on and on. I live in Colorado now and am ready to move to Bliss, Colorado.

Just did a re-read and fell in love with SO's books again.
Another re-read.

Three to Ride by Lexi Blake writing as Sophie Oak is one unconventional erotic romance. The title alone will give you a hint that this book is not of the normal romance as it deals with a éԲ à trois with twin brothers who share everything and that also means their woman. Since this book was a fast paced book, I won’t say much but I will say this book was hot, passionate, and a sexy bliss of love.

As I’m just getting into the éԲ erotica, I’m starting to get the feeling that authors think that only Colorado cowboys like to “share their toys. Maybe they think they’re the only kind of guys that are man enough for the task, or they’re like me and firmly believe that a man in a good pair of wranglers and can ride a horse is just too sexy to pass up.

Whatever, the case I’m one satisfied reader. The identical twins Alex and Ryan are finger-licking good! Alex has a sour mean boy attitude that hides his big softy side and he’s one tender lover. Where easy going Ryan is dominating and demanding in the sack. Over all a heady combination when combined.

What I liked about Oaks éԲ is that there is some build—well, as much build as you can get from 240 pages. Rachel Swift is a woman on the run who has been chased down and hunted by a one-time blind date gone wrong. He’s fixated on her and wants her dead, after he’s done with her of course. She can’t trust the cops, because he is one. When she meets Alex she’s immediately pulled in. Then Ryan enters the stage and the rumors of how the boys like to share women soon get her curious. However, Alex doesn’t want to share.

This book was tons of fun right from the get go, especially with Rachel beating Alex to a pulp with some roses. The guys trying to convince Rachel that she should be with both of them. When all along Rachel is plotting to make them see that she wants them both. This wacky and sexy tale takes place in fictional Bliss Colorado, where strange sexual flavors are OK and the nudists from the nudist colony are always scaring the tourists.

This book is fun in and out of the bedroom giving erotica readers just what they were seeking in an éԲ amour title. Maybe due to lack of a decent page count things move on swiftly, like Rachel excepting her two lovers. Either way this is tons of dirty fun! If the sex scenes don’t get your blood pumping the game of predator and prey will. As Rachel’s psycho wanna-be boyfriend sneaks into town ready to take her and her lovers out. Oak also builds up enough of the supporting cast that you can anticipate sequels—trust me you'll want them.

Sexual Content: Threesomes, sex toys, submissive sex, nudists running amuck, and plenty of dirty talk.

3/5- Adored it, just a few minor details held it back.

There is just something about the way Sophie Oak pulls a naughty story together that just gets me going! There are only so many story lines that an author can make up that make them seem unique, not just the same story with different characters. Although all of the stories I have read by this author have similar elements, they are just different enough that I can actually read them back to back without getting bored!

This one was about twin brothers searching for their perfect woman who will allow them both to be her husbands. When Rachel Swift settles down in the special little town of Bliss, she has survival on the brain and has thoughts of men and new relationships no where near top of mind...that is until she meets the smokin' hot twins.

This was a very entertaining read and now I am off to see how Callie fairs in her reunion with her hot little male duo.

I have clearly lost my marbles! Anyone who knows me, knows that I avoid éԲ like the plague. But for some reason I was really craving a m/f/m where the men do not touch. So this just worked for me even though the two men were brothers. I still really liked Max more than Rye in the end.

I really liked the éԲ plot here; the sex was HOT and I was perfectly ok with the brothers wanting to share Rachel!! There was no jealousy or angst between them once they became a éԲ. My only issues were the insta-love and I thought the stalker plot was lame. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.

4 1/2 stars! A fun, hot, emotional story set in the quirky town of Bliss.

This book sort of reminded me of the craziness on the classic show Green Acres, but with a lot of steam and nakedness. Max and Rye, twins with such different personalities but each one delicious in his own way. Rachel is strong, sassy, sexy and willing to take them both on. Wow!! Lots of laughs, great supporting characters and a little bit of suspense. I can't wait to go back to Bliss for another visit.

Sexy and fun read, this is what to read by someone who is a beginner to menage ;) I wish this was my first menage story. The writing's good, story is believable, the chemistry's there...easy to read.
I only find it a bit rush for the twins, especially Rye, and Rachel to connect.

I am no stranger to Lexi Blake and her amazing books. However, I am a newbie to her writing as Sophie Oak. This is the third book I have read by her as Sophie but a first in this series. I am slowly finding myself enjoy these books just as much as Lexi's other books. They still have Lexi's great story telling to them, but they are definitely more on the side of éԲ a trois, which isn't a fave of mine.

Three to Ride is exactly what you can assume - a éԲ a trois. The reason I was able to enjoy this more than others in this genre, is the story telling. Lexi does a fabulous job of making this book more than just about sex. She gives the characters depth and their stories are so intriguing, it's impossible to not turn the pages and find out what happens next.

The synopsis pretty much tells you what to expect in this book (minus all the great details and happenings) so I won't rehash that. But I will tell you that town of Bliss and it's inhabitants are very entertaining.

This is more of a insta-love and one that is hard to believe (for me). As I said, the backstory is entertaining, but the insta-love is a hard sell for me. The sharing of Rachel does not happen til later in the book, which I think is why I enjoyed this more than I expected. There were very scenes involving all three of them so I didn't find myself turned off by any of it.

Three to Ride was more enjoyable than I expected. Even though éԲ a trois aren't my typical choice of reads, Lexi's story telling made this book better for me. So if you are like me and don't normally go for this genre, I would urge you to try it. And for those of who love a good éԲ a trois story, you will definitely love this one.

A sexy sheriff that’s dominant in bed and a rugged, surly horse trainer that is surprisingly caring and sweet. Both wanting to take care of the same woman. At the same time. Oh, and did I mention that they were twins? Twins! Yes, please.

Having already been drawn in by Sophie Oak’s writing style and larger than life characters in the Texas Siren’s series, I was eager to read more by this fantastic author…and Ms. Oak did not disappoint in the least. While the Bliss series is one that I can read again and again, this particular story is one of my favorites.

Rachel Swift is new in town. Trying to escape the terror that a stalker is wreaking on her life, Rachel finds herself on the run and hiding in the small town of Bliss, Colorado. Home to nudists, alien conspiracy theorists and big foot hunters affectionately referred to as “squatchers, Bliss is also home to twins Max and Rye Harper. As brothers who always wanted to find one woman they could share, they have grown to doubt that they will ever find the one who is right for them both.

Max and Rachel meet first, and the fact that this man, who is viewed as a rough and ornery grizzly by the entire town, basically becomes a teddy bear for a smart and independent woman like Rachel is just flat-out sexy. Max shows a vulnerable, caring side which is touching in such a strong, growly man. Rye, on the other hand, is a handsome and charming small town sheriff with a surprisingly dominant nature in bed. Oh yum. These men complete one another and know that they have met their match in Rachel. And Rachel realizes that these two hot brothers are what she needs to have the courage to stop running from her past.

As for Rachel, let me just say, I adored her. Not only was she strong, funny and intelligent, she was also confident. To be able to literally set a man that scared an entire town onto his backside had me laughing out loud. And frankly wanting to go out on a girls night with Rachel. She did not play the innocent, was not meek and mild, and her well intended scheming to get what she wanted just made me cheer for her even more. If I couldn’t wind up with Max and Rye, then at least I liked the woman that claimed their hearts.

I also fell in love with the town of Bliss. The characters populating this small Colorado outpost were so colorful and quirky that I wanted to invite them all over for a drink and some vegan muffins. They were all up in each other’s business and simply put, they were just plain fun.

As an author, Sophie Oak does a wonderful job of allowing the reader to lose themselves in a crazy, wild romp of a love story with scorching-hot sex scenes thrown in the mix. As with all of her books in the Texas Sirens series, there is not the typical conflict that makes me all angst-y while waiting for the heroes and heroine to resolve a simple misunderstanding. Ms. Oak takes the conflict that has pulled her characters together and brings it to a quick resolution, allowing the focus of the book to be the fun, wild relationship growing between everyone involved.

How many ways are there that I can say how much I loved this book? I want Max and Rye. I adore Rachel. I love Sophie Oak (who I later found out is Lexi Blake…who knew!). Until I can actually find this town on the map so I can pack my bags and relocate, I will have to satisfy myself with seeing it through her heroine’s eyes and falling more and more in love with Bliss.

I usually prefer my menage stories to have an M/M component...but sexy identical twins work too.

Rachel shows up in Bliss Colorado and Max is immediately smitten. So much so that he decides to try a solo relationship instead of involving his brother Rye. They usually share their women and hope to find the perfect lady to start a triad family.

There is some major insta-love here and the plot had some flaws but all in all not bad.

I liked the town, LOVED the brothers! A fun book in which you will find very well-hung males all over town...I should totally move to Bliss, CO. Towards the end I was somewhat skipping pages. Still, I loved the characters and the menage aspect is done well.

Apparently whether she's writing as Sophie Oak or her more regularly known to me name, Lexi Blake writes stories that I love to read.

This story of danger, suspense, crazy small town folk and, most importantly, love had me flying through the pages.

My compassion and engagement with Rachel was instantly in place as I read about the events that lead her to Bliss, CO. Then the ways she interacted with Max and Rye had my emotions going through all the wonderful romance feelings. Laughter and smiles. Frustration and sympathy for or towards one character or another. Then the utter happiness when everything begins falling into place.

Max and Rye were such opposite personalities. I found myself going back and forth between which I loved and/or empathized with more. In the end I decided that, like Rachel, I couldn't choose. They both had great qualities. They both gave me moments where I thought they deserved the girl more than the other. And they both, together and with Rachel, made this story what it was.

This story had the added bonus of one of those super quirky towns that constantly has things going on that made me laugh and where you know the inhabitants had each other's backs no matter what. These are the towns I love to read about where the lost or lonely person finds themselves coming to for whatever reason and they stay because it's just what they needed even if they didn't know they need it and even if they fight it at first.

Once this story was over I was so happy with what I read and loved the great menage story the author created. And now I get to look forward to more books about this awesome town and its fun inhabitants.

One blind date later and a year of torment, Rachel Swift is on the run. After repeated efforts to keep her stalker at a distance she has no other recourse than to change her identity and flee.

A year later Rachel ends up in Bliss and she has caught the eye of town terror Max Harper. Max has a reputation for his temper, but when it comes to Rachel he has been on his best behavior. Growing up he had always planned to share a woman with his twin and town Sheriff Rye Harper, but after years of their relationships ending up with the women packing their bags and heading out the door he now believes they need to go it alone. For the first time though Max has found the girl and he wants Rachel.

As soon as Rye sees Rachel, she sees something no other woman has come close to doing, being able to handle Max. Rye would love to share Rachel, but he is reluctant to against his brothers wishes, the only problem for the twins, no one has asked Rachel what she wants. With her past catching up to her and the bullheadness of the twins, things are about to get interesting in Bliss.

The back story of this, it is a reread for me. Late last night I was thinking about what book had the quirky characters and Mel the guy who thinks aliens are after him, after spending an hour searching I realized it was Sophie Oak. Had to reread it. I love this series, it is funny, quirky, filled with characters that you would love to get to know in person. One of my favorite authors and a fantastic reread, just as good as the first time I read it.

**Reread since I happened across it when I was updating my bookshelf, still a big treat.

So far, i've had the opportunity to read the Texas Sirens series by Sophie Oak and now i had the chance to read the first instalment in the Nights In Bliss... and wow. Seriously. I can't get enough. I love how different Sophie Oak's books are from the Lexi Blake, but there's still that link between the two of them.. obviously because they are one and the same, but still. Neither books from either pen names are the same, the tone is different and the themes are as well, but there's still that something that makes this author really captivating and interesting to read.

Reading this book, i got into it really fast. We all often laugh about it - the disastrous date, the creeper on facebook that is messaging you and expressing their undying love while being someone else, or even, the text gone wrong so you go with it and text back, but what happens when someone doesn't get the hint. Or they take it one step further and goes into that dangerous territory and find out everything about you. That's a scary thought. Even more so, when the stalker has the resources to find the person when they try their hardest to disappear. That's Rachel and her disaster of a date with a cop that leads her to Max and Rye's arms.

As it was with the Texas Siren's series, i want more. I love this introduction to this series, and i can only hope that it gets even more intense between these three. I couldn't get through this book fast enough, nor could i get enough of these characters. They were interesting and they were hilarious at times. I can't wait to read the next instalment; so until then, i'll have to be happy with the next releases by this author's pen names in the near future :D

A beautifully well crafted story that I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have a problem with a menage story.
What makes this a great story is 's ability to create funny and lovable characters and she doesn't stop with the three main characters, but creates a whole community of quirky characters to breath life into the small town of Bliss. With nudists, a paranoid alien-abductee and a hen-mother ruling the local café the Harper brother's preference for sharing a woman doesn't seem that strange.
I also love Ms Oak's female characters that have solid core of strength and doesn't fall all over themselves when in proximity of their romantic interest.
The character of Rachel has a natural development for a scared mousy woman on the run from her stalker to a confident woman knowing that she has attracted the attention of not one but two hunky males, which she's ready to pursue.
The side story with the stalker is a necessary complement to the love story, but also both unoriginal as well as predictable.

Bliss, Colorado...wow, what an idyllic setting for a menage! This is definitely a good one. Rachel is a spitfire...she does not take any crap from these two guys...and best yet, they LOVE that about her! She's very proud, very independent, and very strong. Max and Rye...oy. I'll take these two over the Falladay twins (Cameron and Chase from and ) ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. I thought this plot was very good. Interesting how these girls always seem to start out as waitresses and attract the hot cowboys, but at least these two brothers were very real and very in-tune with each other. I have to admit that I felt as I was reading that I had read this story before (kind of been there, done that, got the t-shirt) since I have read quite a few menage stories about cowboys, twins, stalker exes, small towns accepting of alternative lifestyles, but that didn't make it any less interesting. Very, very entertaining.
